Hello, I currently have a table which calculates the payment to be made to a person according to the number of hours and their category. Sometimes the same person may have several pending payments.When this happens, is it possible to create a new field with the added information with automation?The "Folio" field would be used if this is when the new record should be generated. That is, if you have a payment of 100, and another of 200, the automation should detect that you have the same folio and generate a new field where the payment is 300. In short, I need the values ​​that it shows me when I group them to be generated in a new record. 

The Insights function provides information on activity for a given base and/or associated interfaces. It doesn't get me what I'm looking for so I'm curious if there is a way to gather additional metrics such as:MAURatio of new to returning visitorsBounce RateThank you!

Hello all,We have a fleet of vehicles. The people still fill in the data on a sheet of paper. I'm trying to digitize this a bit and I'm using the interface function (Forms).The person in charge would like to have a function that ensures that people cannot enter incorrect kilometers since they have to split up their kilometers driven.Do you know if something like this would be possible? Unfortunately, I have not been able to make it work.Thank you very much.    

According to https://support.airtable.com/docs/airtable-sync-integration-zendesk, automatic syncing happens around every 5 mins. But from my experience, it is around 10 mins. Is there anything to do to decrease it to 5 mins? 

Hi!I would like to order the records, find by 'find records" in automations, based on the date field. Now, al the records are views complete random... Does anybody has any idea? 

Sheet here: (can’t post due to new user) Column 1 is “Date” type with the time field disabled. Column 2 is “Formula” type: IF({Due Date} != "", {Due Date}, TODAY()) On row 2, if {Due Date} is empty, it automatically fills today’s date, ie, November 5, 2019. On row 1, {Due Date} if set to April 20, 2019, for some reason reports Due Date? as April 19, 2019. GMT setting is disabled.

I'm fairly new to JS and I'd love feedback if this script is the most effective. I'm trying to link records between tables, and I know it's not a simple copy-paste.I have two tables: enrollments (students) and courses.Enrollments has the fields:Course ID: integerCourse ID Link: link field to the Courses tableThe integers directly correspond to a 'Canvas Course ID' in the Courses table. In the last few weeks, we have been experiencing a bug when scheduling posts to Hootsuite. It will schedule to post, however, it duplicated the attached image. We have reset our automation to make sure we didn't have something duplicated as well as recommended our accounts. It is still creating duplicate images in the post. This adds an extra step as we then have to go into each scheduled post and edit them on Hootsuite. Does anyone have a solution?    

I was able to automatically update a record with a “need to start” status when created, but I’d also like it to automatically put today’s date in as well. I’m just not sure what I should be typing in the date field. I tried typing Today, but that didn’t work. I’m going to admit to being a total novice here so please feel free to spell it out to me like I’m five.

Hello, Quick question. I have a field that calculates no. of days before start of a workshop. This is the formula I'm using- DATETIME_DIFF({Start Date/Time}, NOW(),'days'). I now want to create a field that calculates number of days 'after' a workshop. I want to use this for an automation. So for eg: if days after training completion =7, send email. What formula can I use here? I tried using a dateadd formula but I'm getting it wrong. Thank you 🙂

I have an automation that converts input data into MD5 using custom script and the script’s output along with a field from the table is appended to the Google Sheet. All steps work when testing. But when running all at once using ‘rerun’ or through the form (the trigger is when “When a record is created”), all steps work except appending into Google Sheet, with the error "Row Data" could not be converted to a string.. Any help is much appreciated.

Hello all,I have a table with 3 fields (columns). First is for names,Second for passwords,and the 3rd one is a concatenation of the 2 first ones.This table is filled up from a form. (this step is working)On the next table, I have 2 fields, the first one (primary one) is empty, and I want to have in the 2nd field the information from the 3rd field of the FIRST TABLE. (still following? )But no matter if I use 'link to' or 'look up', nothing happen in the 2nd column of the 2nd Table.   

HelloI have a table that is effectively a Risk Register Which has been scored by probability (1-5) and Impact (1-5). What I want to be able to see how many risks score 5 and 5, how many score 4 and 3, show on a typical risk matrix/heatmap like the attached jpg. Hi everyone,I have what I thought is a pretty straightforward scenario I'm trying to implement, but I can't for the life of me how to implement in practice. We have a Web Team and a Marketing Operations team. Each team has its own base within the same workspace. The people in the wider marketing team submit requests to the Web Team to add resources to the website through a form in the Web Team's base. Once the Web Team has done all they needed to do, the Marketing Operations team needs to somehow get a hold of the record and do their bits and then update the record with some additional information. The views for each team are slightly different and at the moment I have a synced table in each of their bases, but they're not connected. I can't seem to create an automation from a synced table, and the automation in one table can't create or update records in the synced table either. So I'm a bit stumped. Any idea how I could make this work for both teams?

Hello, I am trying to reduce the number of clicks that need to be used print a page designer record. I have set up the new button functionality to connect to the page designer to print, but once you click on it you have to click at least on 4 different windows before sending the item to print. Is there a way to use the scripting block to automate this process for you? I don’t know much about scripting so I might need to outsource the service but ideally when clicking on the button it would automatically send to print without needing to reset the dimensions of the page designer.

Hey guys !I'm using Pabbly to automate a process of generating documents with Airtable.Thing is Pabbly is creating PDF using Google docs and transferring them to Airtable, which works really fine.However, in the attachments, while the document has the good title in the viewer, the file name itself is automatically named "UC" without any prefix.So when I send it by mail, it displays errors, because it sould be "formation - Name.pdf"Do you know where does it mess ?Thanks for the help 

I work where following up with my clients are essential. Right now I have 3 columns in the table that. I'm trying to link together using IF Formula and it's not working so looking for some help here. First column is "Last Contact Date" which is in "Date" format and next one is "Schedule follow up" which is in "multiple selection" format with 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months, 3 months 6 months, 1 year. Last column is "Next contact day" where I'm trying to use IF formula to calculate the new date for me and they give me the new date for me. So below is what I have and right now, it's keep saying N/A.Not sure where I went wrong or how to fix it. GoalOur organization is hoping to move our annual application off of a very expensive custom third-party contractor's system (which we have to messily export CSVs from to upload to AirTable, then engage in substantial data cleaning due to issues in how the contractor's system structures data). The goal is to move the application to our org's AirTable Workspace directly. We're exploring ways to handle this smoothly, so I'll talk through the overall workflow/how things work now first and foremost, then talk about some of our initial thoughts about how to achieve this with AT, and then finally I'll talk about the things I'm not sure how to do (or if they can be done at all).Upfront, I am hopeful all this is achievable using AirTable Forms, but some things I've read elsewhere suggest that Interfaces might be a more appropriate tool. Hello AT community! I have a table that automatically syncs to a Google Drive folder on regular intervals that was working until a few days ago.  Now the automatic sync fails and when I manually kick off a sync with "Sync now" I get an error message saying "Unable to sync new data". If I go to "Update sync configuration", my Google Drive source is inactive and an error message reads "Unable to sync this source. Unable to sync new data"Nothing has changed with the configuration of the Google Drive and I am able to connect to it just fine outside of AT using the same credentials.  I have tried connecting to a different Google Drive folder as a test, but I get the same error.Any advice on what else I should check to resolve this problem? The error message doesn't give me a lot of information about what could be going wrong.

Hi! I am trying to set reminders through the Slack automation when my clients have birthdays. (The day before one of my client's birthday, I get a Slack reminder to send them a gift card). However, because year has to be included in the date, I am not getting the automation to work (for example, my client's birthday was Aug 3, 1990. I can always change the year to 2023 so that the automation works, but then I would have to change it to 2024 for it to work for the following year.) I do not to see a way to omit year in this automation.  No luck from the Airtable support team. Does anyone have any ideas?
