Hi - I have a field labeled "reporter."  It allows me to choose and select from a dropdown list of all the reporters that have been entered into our system. Is there any way to manually add someone into a cell in this column who is not on our list of regular reporters (i.e. a one-time freelancer)? Please let me know if you have any insight into this. Thank you! 

Hello, I'm trying to link two simple table to learn how to use a lookup field.I have two tables: Company and Contacts Info. I linked the Company Name field to Contacts Info table so I can lookup the contact. However, Airtable created new records in the Contact Info table (attached New Contact Info) . How can I avoid the creation for new records? just to  a lookup like in xls...Thanks!

Currently I work with a non-profit church team using a spreadsheet to schedule channels of communication for the year. They would like to move to another system like Airtable, but they like the fact they can visualize the empty channels on a spreadsheet so they know what channels are open they can fill. The only way I assume we can do this in Airtable is if we pre-generate a record for every channel and day of the year using automations, but that would be a LOT of records. Any advice if this is the right way to go? Hello,I have Table of people and for eveybody I have registration month by number. It looks like that: Name:Adam, Registered:9Than I have second table with courses. For each course I have assigned that people. The cource has its own month.For example: Yoga:Adam,Robert, Month:9I would like to have new column, that will include only the people that was registered in the same month as the course.The month is different for each course so I cannot use the filter function in rollup. Please help.

Hi, I'm building out a base to track overlapping magazine production cycles over the course of a year. Each record represents a task, and I'm wanting to duplicate records for tasks that recur each production cycle. I'm wondering how I might duplicate multiple records at a time. It doesn't appear that this is an option, but are there any work arounds? Thank you!

Hello!I'm having an issue where the CSV Import extension doesn't remember the columns I match. I’m skipping the option “First row of CSV file is headers” since I want to use “Column 1”, “Column 2”, etc. function to match them. This is because they’re easier to identify and I can't use headers since some headers of my CSV files are blank (and I need those columns to import), so using "Column 1" and so on is easier to identify.Once I configure this and upload one CSV, it uploads the information just fine. However, upon uploading another CSV, the tool won't remember the matching of the columns. What could be causing this?

So, according to the FAQ about the new pricing, multi-source syncing is no longer included in the Pro Plan (now "Teams").... am I reading that correctly?  Does that screw over anyone else or am I alone in being frustrated about this?

Hello everybody,I have created an automation that will send out an email from a Gmail account. However, the recipient for each email varies depending on the Project. All projects have a field that is linked to another record that contains all the information for the email recipients.My issue is when I try to fill the Recipient field in the automation, the field that represents the linked record doesn't add the email but instead the name of the recipient. I have tried multiple times but can't seem to figure out how to solve this issue. Any kind of help is greatly appreciated!

I have a table that includes about a dozen fields.  I've noticed that the list-records method won't include columns from the table if the columns are missing a value.  Is there a way to include missing-value columns in the results?

Hi there - I have the same issue that was posted in March of '21. I have a single Extension set up to import CSV data. This data is coming from an internal database with the exact same formatting, fields, file name - everything. And for some reason, no matter what I try, the mapping gets lost between each import. I’ve even tried to rebuild the Extension in the dashboard. Any thoughts as to what I can do to make the mapping stick? It’s not the end of the world, but we frequently want to sync data, so having to map all the fields each time is a real drag. Thanks

I spent hours adding hundreds of editable fields to an interface. The associated table is near the 500 column limit (476).75% of the way through adding the fields I started getting the error "Sorry, your request conflicted with another change and was reverted." whenever I added or edited something on the interface.Has anyone else faced this? Am I reaching a secret interface field limit I don't know about? I really do not want to spend hours rebuilding this interface from scratch just to get the same error again. I tried: -having a collaborator edit, same error.-making sure my permissions are set to creator-logging in and out + clearing cache-creating a new user and editing with that account-two different web browsers-duplicating the interface and editing that one-publishing and unpublishing the interface      

Hi folks,I'm have a dataset of events in Airtable with each event as a row, and each row has a different number of sessions that can make up the complete event. This means I have 8 end date & time columns to capture the finish time of each session. HelloI was hoping for some advice on how to best approach this use-case we have. Some background:Our marketing team manages all of their accounts through Airtable. We have a primary table called "All Locations" which is our "source of truth" for location-specific data about the retail showrooms we manage. Up until now keeping it up-to-date has been a challenge as employees don't necessarily stay on top of updating the data when changes to our locations occurs.The true "source of truth" is a locations table in our Datamart that comes from our organization's CRM system. We want to use the core organizational source of truth to update the marketing team's locations table in Airtable.We currently have successfully deployed Zapier and have a constantly updating synchronized table with all the location data in Airtable, but we can't work off of that table as it needs to remain untouched for the sync to work as well as the fact all of the history is attached to

I am perplexed as to why there is a Date field type however it can only be sorted by 1-9 which puts the month of October ahead of January. Or another table of mine, it will sort January first for a few records, then start over. I don't know. Sorting by date seems really basic yet it is not working correctly in any of my tables. These dates sort fine in FileMaker, Excel, and Google Sheets. I'm stumped. Anyone have any suggestions? These tables were imported via CSV.

Maybe somebody found the solution for that?  I want to get rid of Cyrillic and use English characters and language, to present some data to international teamI have my Windows interface on English, and haven't any russian language there.I've also set it here and tried to re-login, but nothing changedand finally, with no luck, tried to change Location and use VPN with different IP.Is there any other ideas?

I want to have my status column auto fill a date in the Actual RFP Date when the status is set to RFP. But then there are more status changes that will happen after that, and I don't want the Actual RFP Date to disappear once the status is change to the next status in the process so we can track that date easily. Right now I have it so when status is changed to RFP it fills in the Actual RFP Date, but then with Engineering changes the status to Engineering Complete, that date goes away. However, I also want it to update the Actual RFP date if you ever go back and change the status to Field Dim. We typically do that when someone thinks they have everything they need, but then they realize they are missing information. So we would set the status back to Field Dim and then once the field dim is complete we would again change the status to RFP and would need the Actual RFP date to show the most recent RFP status change date. 

I have 4 columns that affect each other for our woodworking shop tracking: Status, Actual RFP Date, Required RFP Date, and Manufacturing complete date. Manufacturing complete date is just a date that is entered as an ideal completion date. Manufacturing Complete date then fills out the Required RFP date to be 8 weeks prior to Manufacturing Complete. Then the RFP date is the date at which the Status is is actually set to RFP. I want to make it so that the Manufacturing Complete date will automatically change to be 8 weeks after the Actual RFP date. How can I do this? Seems like the Manufacturing Complete date column needs to be both a date and a formula, but I know there must be a work around for this. As you can see in the screenshot, 9/15 Actual RFP Date is less than 8 weeks from Manufacturing Complete date, so I want it to automatically change that 10/4 date to be 11/10. 

Hello (second attempt to get an answer about this)I am not able to see the form data immediately appear in the table once a form is submitted. I am our AT admin and have never experienced this before. Instead, what happens is the form data appears the next day, or several hours later. Obviously this impacts our workflow.Insights/Troubleshooting-- This is a native form, made with AT-- I have changed no settings and no one else has either.-- I can confirm that the form I am using points to the appropriate base.-- I have cleared the computers cache and also tried from a different machine.-- I have not changed any settings that would force the form data to appear in the base on a schedule, but that is what it feels like it is doing... suddenly!?IssueForm data is not populating into the appropriate base until several hours later. This is a big problem for our workflow. 

There's a table named Customers. This table has details of the customers. In this table, there’s a first column that has Record ID (reference field) and each customer has a unique Record ID.There’s a column called Paid in this table which has details about the payment status. Here, I mark manually when someone pays and it mentions “ 5 Mentors (89€)” . There’s another table named Mentors which has a list of mentors and their details in different columns. The first column is the Record ID which is unique to every mentor. When, I change the status of Paid column in customers with 5 Mentors (89€) in the customers table, Airtable allots 5 random mentors to that specific customer. These 5 mentors are randomly assigned from the list available in the Mentors table. As mentioned above. Because every mentor has a unique ID and every customer has a unique ID, airtable knows which mentor has been assigned to which customer .There’s another table named Match
