Hello, I'm using the Timeline view with a data set that has data points starting Aug 1st 2023 and onwards.There are no data points for the time period before Aug 1st (Jan 1- July 31st) yet these dates are available to be scrolled through.I am aware of the date settings allowing you to jump to a certain section in a view, but I am instead looking for a solution to start the entire horizontal axis on a designated date, without having the possibility to scroll to an earlier time frame where there are no data points. Is there any way to hide the empty values, or set the minimum start date of the horizontal time scale of the timeline to start at a specified date? i.e. August 1 2023?

Hi all 🙂I am trying to avoid duplicate entries from making it to my airtable table.Background: I am running multiple webscraping actors collecting entries from public sources multiple times a day. The actor itself can not determine which entries it already has collected, but just get's the 10 latest entries 5x a day. This way i assure that I get all the entries which are posted. However, when I now add the entries to airtable, it will create duplicates. I am currently using the "Datastore" of Make automation, which will automatically "reject" any duplicate entry as i am using the unique URL of the entry as the unique key in the Make datastore. This is desired as each time an actor runs, only the new entries make it to the DB. However, when trying to switch from Make Datastore to Airtable as a DB provider, I realised that airtable doesn't allow me to specify a "key" or "record id" when adding new entries.Question:

I'm trying to find the average of a Ratings field for a product using a rollup.Based on the docs this should work: ROUND(AVERAGE(values), 2) However, I still only get whole numbers back. How can I see the result to two decimal places using a rollup?

Hi.  Is it possible to rollup all values of all the links in a field of type link, combined into a larger array? Is it possible to create a link to a calendar view that always links to today? Is there a way to do this via a URL parameter, e.g. "&date=today"? I have a few views that I consistently reference and it's a bit of a pain to constant find the "Today" button on the view to get it to show the appropriate content.

I am trying to create an analytics table for my reatail business and I created a sheet that includes all the poducts. I have a different table per day that I have sells so in the analytics table I added a column and linked the sells I have per day. What I want to do is to rollup all colums I have in the analytics so I can see my sales per day. How can I rollup sum different colums to get a total per month???

Hi. I couldn't find any specific information related to this. We are currently looking into possible options to conver a Google-Sheets based system to something more thorough.  We want to make sure we do not hit any walls later on in the future, once the system starts to grow. For the Pro plan, there is a 100k automations limit per month.  If you perform automations outside of AirTable, using Make or Zapier, for example watching rows and then updating rows based on certain conditions - would these count towards AirTable automation limit? My intuition would tell me no, but I would prefer to be certain about this - as that way I know we always have a plan B if we hit the limit.

With the upcoming announcement, I'm moving tools to OAUTH away from personal access tokens.Much of the work is on a locally hosted server that will be talking to Airtable, so client-credentials-flow seems appropriate here for machine-to-machine interaction.I have a secret and am following the recommended OAUTH examples. It seems that the documentation really outlines the user grant really well, but the client grant isnt described. For example, I won't have a auth code, PKCE, or challenge answer with my token request, will I? I'm hitting the service, but am getting 401-Unauthorized..Now to my question:Is there a specific OAUTH client-credentials definition I can use to make sure I'm sending all the required fields?  

I created a master program plan in hopes to combine all of the project plans on my team, but I couldn't get the start date to auto-adjust based on the end date. My team used to use a spreadsheet in which we used this formula: =WORKDAY(H3,1,Holidays!$A$2:$A$10002) and this would auto-project how long the project would take based on the duration and previous task end date. When I tried to replicate a similar formula, it's an error due to circular reference. Is there a way to do this without having to enter the start date every time? (example: when a previous tasks took longer than expected the new end date should trigger the future start date to autoadjust based on the duration). 

Hi,I have seemingily a simple questions, I'm using airtable for the backend in my flutter app. I know that I can retrieve a specific result from my table, by adding the record id at the end of the url. Like this:/rec0PjvzbdWLP1sxMBut, how do I retrieve two or more results. Meaning, I have an array of records eg, [rec0Pj, recvzbd, recWLP. rec1sxM]. How can I make an api call to return just these ids?Do I use findByFormula, or some other way?Thanks

I am trying to setup our production tracker using Interfaces.  I am running into one very big issue though.  I have forms (currently in page designer) that need to be printed at certain times throughout the progress of each record.  I know I can add a URL to the button but we currently have the button setup to open that specific record in page designer and would like it to stay that way.  The button does not have to open to page designer if there is another solution that would pull data from that record and put it on a page that can be printed.  I am unsure if a script or API would accomplish this but would appreciate any help.

A warning will last for 30 days, if staff violate within 30 days, it will automatically be their 2nd warning just by submitting formPlease help, i don't know how to set up the field automatically change from 1st warning to 2nd warning, or if they violate after 30 days, the old warning will be expired.

Hello! I have a list of songs, and i would like to invite outside collaborators to rate each song. I know there is a Rating field, but I’m not sure if there is a way to let multiple people rate the same record and then view the results. Is there a way to create a “poll” to allow many people to rate each song, then I can see the total number of ratings and the overall average rating? Thanks for any and all suggestions…

Hey, Is it possible to rate one record multiple times (1 collaborator to rate same recordmultiple times), and later on to show an average rating? And to do that with multiple collaborators? For example, restaurant review, Can I rate the same restaurant multiple times, and calculate the average rating for that particular restaurant? And that average rating to be a combination of multiple different ratings from multiple collaborators. I’m not quite sure how to do that… Thanks

I'd like to set up an automation to send an alert when two records have the same value in a date field.For example, Record A has a date of August 6.  Record B has a date of August 7.  Then the date of Record B changes to August 6 (same as Record A).Can someone please tell me if this is possible, and if so, how?

Hi!  I feel like I did decent job searching around to see if the answer to my question already exists, but I apologize in advance if I failed and it's been answered (or/and worse: multiple times. It would mean I suck at searching and my whole identity would be called into question! Egads! And, jokes. I'm joking.) Now, the question:How do I automagically get photos into a table with the meta-data? (Fields, yes, but that's not what I mean.) Morning! I'm having trouble getting Airtable to recognise the output of this formula as a date. It is basically saying "if it's in this city/country, you need to begin the project x,y or z number of months before the required by date". The last "otherwise" was "" but I've changed it to -999 so the none of the formula would spit out a string value, but that still doesn't seem to have worked. The {Client Required By Date} field is a date field in the same table and is date only (no time), so that shouldn't be an issue, I don't think. I would like to avoid upgrading the website plan as my blog posts will eventually out grow the limited amount of CMS items webflow offers anyways. Hi community!I have an airtable that tracks VFX shots as they come in from vendors.One sheet (delivery) tracks every shot as it comes in, including the same shot with a different version number due to fixes or changesOn a separate sheet (topsheet) I have a master list of all the VFX shots in the filmOn the delivery sheet, I link each record to the master vfx record on the topsheet. That way I can see every version of a VFX shot delivered and track commentsThe issue I have is that the producer likes to see a list of every shot that is either 'not started', 'has issues' and 'passed quality check'. The issue is, because multiple deliveries are linked to the master shot, the master shot can be both 'has issues' and 'passed quality check' as the old versions are linked. Is there a way to group the 'topsheet' so that one group is all shots 'not started', all shots that have issue but none that have passed qc, and a group that is any shot that has at leas

See GIF below: Basic project/sprint setup for Gantt view with the "Sprints" here grouped by Project.If I try to add a sprint by dragging out a timeslot in the relevant project, the created sprint/task is created, but not associated with the group/project I tried to create it in. It pops to the top and is not associated with any project. I can't associate it with a project by dragging it down to the relevant project. You would have to click the Sprint and associate the relevant project from there.I find that this breaks my flow when managing multiple projects or just trying to quickly add something during a meeting. It's also made worse by the fact that the left record list (where I can see the name of the Project and associated sprints) is replaced by the record details every time you click a sprint record. This is problematic because I sometimes forget the name of the project, as many of our projects have relatively similar names. So I can s
