With the upcoming announcement, I'm moving tools to OAUTH away from personal access tokens.Much of the work is on a locally hosted server that will be talking to Airtable, so client-credentials-flow seems appropriate here for machine-to-machine interaction.I have a secret and am following the recommended OAUTH examples. It seems that the documentation really outlines the user grant really well, but the client grant isnt described. For example, I won't have a auth code, PKCE, or challenge answer with my token request, will I? I'm hitting the service, but am getting 401-Unauthorized..Now to my question:Is there a specific OAUTH client-credentials definition I can use to make sure I'm sending all the required fields?  

I created a master program plan in hopes to combine all of the project plans on my team, but I couldn't get the start date to auto-adjust based on the end date. My team used to use a spreadsheet in which we used this formula: =WORKDAY(H3,1,Holidays!$A$2:$A$10002) and this would auto-project how long the project would take based on the duration and previous task end date. When I tried to replicate a similar formula, it's an error due to circular reference. Is there a way to do this without having to enter the start date every time? (example: when a previous tasks took longer than expected the new end date should trigger the future start date to autoadjust based on the duration). 

Hi,I have seemingily a simple questions, I'm using airtable for the backend in my flutter app. I know that I can retrieve a specific result from my table, by adding the record id at the end of the url. Like this:/rec0PjvzbdWLP1sxMBut, how do I retrieve two or more results. Meaning, I have an array of records eg, [rec0Pj, recvzbd, recWLP. rec1sxM]. How can I make an api call to return just these ids?Do I use findByFormula, or some other way?Thanks

I am trying to setup our production tracker using Interfaces.  I am running into one very big issue though.  I have forms (currently in page designer) that need to be printed at certain times throughout the progress of each record.  I know I can add a URL to the button but we currently have the button setup to open that specific record in page designer and would like it to stay that way.  The button does not have to open to page designer if there is another solution that would pull data from that record and put it on a page that can be printed.  I am unsure if a script or API would accomplish this but would appreciate any help.

Hi, currently my team wants to have a form to submit warning for staff. A warning will last for 30 days, if staff violate within 30 days, it will automatically be their 2nd warning just by submitting formPlease help, i don't know how to set up the field automatically change from 1st warning to 2nd warning, or if they violate after 30 days, the old warning will be expired. 

Hi All,How can I configure different fields in card view and card expansion view?Use case: I want the cards to be smaller and neater, and show 1st tier information only at a glance. Upon card expansion, I would like to show more details.Basically, it should be able to select which fields would be part of the view, and the which fields would go on Card only and which ones on Card expansion.Im afraid I know the answer, because I searched for it. Hello! I have a list of songs, and i would like to invite outside collaborators to rate each song. I know there is a Rating field, but I’m not sure if there is a way to let multiple people rate the same record and then view the results. Is there a way to create a “poll” to allow many people to rate each song, then I can see the total number of ratings and the overall average rating? Thanks for any and all suggestions…

Hey, Is it possible to rate one record multiple times (1 collaborator to rate same recordmultiple times), and later on to show an average rating? And to do that with multiple collaborators? For example, restaurant review, Can I rate the same restaurant multiple times, and calculate the average rating for that particular restaurant? And that average rating to be a combination of multiple different ratings from multiple collaborators. I’m not quite sure how to do that… Thanks

I'd like to set up an automation to send an alert when two records have the same value in a date field.For example, Record A has a date of August 6.  Record B has a date of August 7.  Then the date of Record B changes to August 6 (same as Record A).Can someone please tell me if this is possible, and if so, how?

Hi!  I feel like I did decent job searching around to see if the answer to my question already exists, but I apologize in advance if I failed and it's been answered (or/and worse: multiple times. It would mean I suck at searching and my whole identity would be called into question! Egads! And, jokes. I'm joking.) Now, the question:How do I automagically get photos into a table with the meta-data? (Fields, yes, but that's not what I mean.) I assume there's a script or something somewhere (as opposed to this feature being relegated to the IFTTTs and Zapier's of the world.) (I assume I'll be able to figure how I get the pics into the table without having to manually attach each photo bc... well, there's just no way someone didn't solve for this.) Thanks so much! 

Morning! I'm having trouble getting Airtable to recognise the output of this formula as a date. It is basically saying "if it's in this city/country, you need to begin the project x,y or z number of months before the required by date". The last "otherwise" was "" but I've changed it to -999 so the none of the formula would spit out a string value, but that still doesn't seem to have worked. The {Client Required By Date} field is a date field in the same table and is date only (no time), so that shouldn't be an issue, I don't think. Hey guys,I have a lot of blog posts that I am trying to showcase on my website but I don't have the room to store them in the webflow CMS since I use CMS for a lot. I would like to avoid upgrading the website plan as my blog posts will eventually out grow the limited amount of CMS items webflow offers anyways. Hi community!I have an airtable that tracks VFX shots as they come in from vendors.One sheet (delivery) tracks every shot as it comes in, including the same shot with a different version number due to fixes or changesOn a separate sheet (topsheet) I have a master list of all the VFX shots in the filmOn the delivery sheet, I link each record to the master vfx record on the topsheet. That way I can see every version of a VFX shot delivered and track commentsThe issue I have is that the producer likes to see a list of every shot that is either 'not started', 'has issues' and 'passed quality check'. The issue is, because multiple deliveries are linked to the master shot, the master shot can be both 'has issues' and 'passed quality check' as the old versions are linked. Is there a way to group the 'topsheet' so that one group is all shots 'not started', all shots that have issue but none that have passed qc, and a group that is any shot that has at leas

See GIF below: Basic project/sprint setup for Gantt view with the "Sprints" here grouped by Project.If I try to add a sprint by dragging out a timeslot in the relevant project, the created sprint/task is created, but not associated with the group/project I tried to create it in. It pops to the top and is not associated with any project. I can't associate it with a project by dragging it down to the relevant project. You would have to click the Sprint and associate the relevant project from there.I find that this breaks my flow when managing multiple projects or just trying to quickly add something during a meeting. It's also made worse by the fact that the left record list (where I can see the name of the Project and associated sprints) is replaced by the record details every time you click a sprint record. I have a base which has the design of one date field and 8 image fields .  It  has been working well - with one entry a day since 20 June 2023.  About 3 days ago it stopped letting me upload photos.  I've checked my stats and I am nowhere near my limits. I have also deleted and reinstalled the app on my phone without success.  My other bases are working fine.  I love airtable however cannot work out what is happening.  Any suggestions?

I am trying to create an automation so that everytime a new record is created in the "link to another table" column, the SUM tag is automatically printed. This is because I am trying to do a cumulative sum but am unsure as to how to get it to automatically update and display the sum when a new record is created.

How would you set this up?Department 1 is in charge of sending contract to customer, receiving contract, sending invoice and receiving invoice for initial payment. Once initial payment is received, Department 2 is notified and now needs to complete a certain number of tasks for 'onboarding that customer'. When those tasks are complete, Department 3 is notified and they have their own number of tasks for that customer, and so on.Thanks for any advice!

Um, yeah - it is. But first, a little of the backstory. As is often the case just when you’ve thought you’ve seen it all, a client asks - Is it possible to chain blocks and run them sequentially - as one completes, the next one starts? No, right? But then she tossed in another requirement - The computational results from the first block must be available to the next block and sometimes to all subsequent blocks. Oy! Nothing like a mind-bender for a Monday morning. This business requirement is daunting – indeed, impossible given the nature of Script Blocks. I’m sure the Airtable folks have pondered this, but as it stands, it’s off the table for now, right? Hello Airtable Community,I am new to Airtable and currently working on a custom mini extension in Airtable that aims to upload CSV files into multiple tables within my base automatically. I have written a script for the mini extension to handle the CSV upload and record creation, but I'm encountering some errors.- The script prompts the user to upload a CSV file using the built-in file picker.- The CSV file has data that needs to be distributed across different tables, namely: contacts, company, line items, services, and invoices.- Each table has unique fields and linked records, and the script maps the CSV data to the appropriate fields accordingly.- I am using native JavaScript to read and parse the CSV content.Issue:When testing the mini extension and attempting to upload the CSV file, I encountered the following error: [Describe the specific error message you received, if any].Code

Hi! I’m not sure if this is possible and if so, how. But is it possible on Airtable to use a script so that when a record status changes, to get a popup to appear that contains information relative to that record and a confirmation button that will allow the base user to launch an action through that button (via webhook for instance) ?
