Message:Hi everyone,I use Airtable daily to manage multiple bases, and I’m looking for a simple and reliable way to back up everything, including: All tables (with data) Automations Scripts (via Scripting app) Interfaces My goal is to regularly back up my entire workspace and be able to quickly restore it in case of any issues (human error, accidental deletion, etc.).I’m open to all suggestions: tools, third-party integrations, API-based methods, best practices, etc.Ideally, the solution should be easy to automate or require minimal manual effort.Thanks in advance for your help!

I'm trying to setup an automation that sends out reminder emails to a bunch of people. I'm wanting to customize the email to pull information, such as their name and email address, into the automation. However, when I try to input the dynamic data into the email that will be sent out, the only option I have showing up in my "insert values from field" are ID and the primary field in the table. Whereas with most dynamic setups, I'm able to pull data from any field in the table. Why are the other fields not available? Is there a workaround for this? Hi,I have a simple airtable-database ad datasource for my Weweb-project.Everthing worked fine until a few days ago, I get a 422-error in Weweb "insufficient permissions" for only one of my records.The Weweb-community replies this error is generated by Airtable. I'm wondering if forms can also have the "take photo" function in attachments the same as when adding records from a phone or device? The idea is to have customer feedback be able to take a photo in the feedback form without going through their gallery.

One variable I need to use is “Tag” that links contacts to an area of interest (nature, sports, food, etc). Since I use the Tag classification in many places throughout the base (currently 8 tables), I have made it into a Linked Record instead of a separate Single Select for each table. Yes, I know that if I'd use Single Selects this would work without issues :).The problem is I can’t figure out how to use a Linked Record as a Dynamic condition in a Find Record step. I am trying to set up an automation that:1. Runs every Wednesday at 11:15 AM.2. Find records based on the “Abc” view.3. If records are found, send one email per record using Outlook.How do I get one email per record to be sent using Outlook?

As I typed this, it was 11/17 2:45 pm in my time zone (PST = GMT - 8). What I want is to get a field that return what today’s date is in my time zone. I have tried the following fields: TODAY ( ) – GMT contains the formula TODAY () with “Use the same time zone (GMT) for all collaborators” toggled on in the formatting tab TODAY ( ) – not GMT contains the formula TODAY () with “Use the same time zone (GMT) for all collaborators” toggled off in the formatting tab TODAY ( ) using SET_TIMEZONE contains the formula DATETIME_FORMAT(SET_TIMEZONE(TODAY(),‘America/Los_Angeles’),‘MM/DD/YYYY’) (with no option to set formatting available): What I get is the following (again, when it is 11/17 2:45 pm in my time zone (PST = GMT - 8)): TODAY ( ) – GMT: 11/17/2020 12:00am TODAY ( ) – not GMT: 11/16/2020 4:00pm TODAY ( ) using SET

Hello, I’ve got a Bookkeeping Airtable Base and have created a record review interface for the user to review new records, created with transaction info pulled from their banks. They’ve got to make sure they categorize the transaction and that it has something written into the Vendor field, then they hit the “save” button, which I created to run an automation that updates some things behind the scenes, crucially, pasting the value of a formula field (that adds up the Vendor field plus the transaction year) into a linked field called Merchant, and then marking that record as “reviewed.”So far it’s been going wonderfully, but I ran into an issue when a user told me they hit “save” but nothing happened, and going in I realized that the automation only works when there is already a record in the linked Merchants tab with the correct Vendor+year combo. If this transaction is from a brand new vendor, the automation doesn’t work, because – as I learned by checking out

Hello,my question is very similar to  https://community.airtable.com/t5/automations/invite-colleagues-to-connect-gmail-account/td-p/72428 but there was no solution to this post and I was unable to reply to it.Below is a picture of my automation set up. I would like the automated email to send even if the trigger (which is in an interface) is initiated on another computer ( a colleague's, so they would be part of the work email domain(?)) and would not be logged into my email.Do people trying to use this automation from a different computer need to be logged into my email? Do I need to attach their email to the automation?Thanks in advance for any explanations!  

We are a marketing agency that manages social media calendars for many clients. We love the platform for building the calendars and sharing amongst our team BUT sharing the calendars to the clients for approval is an actual nightmare that I can't solve. 1. We have too many clients to add them as paid collaborators and not be super cost prohibitive2. They can comment but would love for them to just be able to use the direct toggle to click approved to streamline.How are you delivering your social media calendars to your clients? 

Can we please get a native way to output valid Markdown (that renders as rich text) from a Formula field?  This simple improvement would cut down on so many hacks.

Hi everyone,I have a column with a series of numbers, and I can easily get the median from this summary above it, but for the life of me I can't figure out a formula to get the same results in a separate table column.Ideally I want this data in a table so I can use it for other calculations. I've been searching for hours but can't find anything. The closest I can get to this is using the rollup field to roll up all the numbers and then use the AVERAGE formula, but I need to get the median average. Would anybody know a formula I can use to get the median? I've tried other formulas from other places on the forums, but they don't seem to work for me.  

Hey everyone,I'm working on migrating data from an old database to a new Airtable base, and I've set up linked tables. I've also created a script extension that successfully migrates a record when I manually select it within the extension.My goal is to embed this script in a button field on my interface. This button should allow users to run the script directly on the current record they are viewing, without having to open the script extension and select the record manually.Here are my main questions: How can I pass the current record (the parent of the button) as an input context to my script when the button is clicked? I need the script to know which record it should operate on. I've noticed that when I link the button to my script, the button appears disabled. I’m not sure exactly what group to put this in but I am trying to build out a form that allows you to “pick a speaker” from a list to effectively vote for them. I was wondering if there was any way to show more information when trying to pick a record in a form, ideally the cover photo would be best but anything would make it easier. Hi, I am trying to set up an automation to send emails from multiple email accounts. I am able to add multiple accounts by clicking “manage connected account” and logging into Gmail. But I am wondering if there’s a way to invite colleagues to connect their Gmail accounts? That way, I could select different emails to come from different colleagues’ accounts. Is this possible? Hi! My team has used Asana to create templates for different categories of events that auto-populate tasks with due dates (e.g. 45 days before event date). What is the best method to creating similar templates in Airtable? Below is a screenshot from the Asana template.  I’m looking to get each Due Date cell to auto to x days before the event date, excluding weekends. I tried using DATEADD, but this does not work on individual cells. Thanks!

I am comfortable creating a prefilled form using two tables. I am having issues getting a prefilled form to work across three tables. The top field in the form is a Link field between the primary and secondary tables using the recordID. Simple enough so far. But I have a third table with records that link back to the primary table. I want users to be able to select records (from this third table) in a second Link field at the bottom of the form. My attempt at doing this is creating Link fields from this third table to both the primary and secondary tables, hoping the record ID would pull through to populate the selection in the prefilled form. My thinking is that the record ID for the Third--->Primary and Third--->Secondary links are the same record ID. This has not been successful. Hi,I was hoping I might have some help with an Automation please.I’ve been working on an Automation that will allow people to submit job requests via a form, and then have these jobs appear on my calendar for my accountant to reference. The automation works off a number of fields and a script per below:When a form is submitted > Run a ScriptThe script looks at what day it is, and starting at 10:00am in 1h blocks will add jobs to the calendar that day as long as they are before 9:00pm.Jobs falling after 9:00 pm will be pushed to the next business day, and anything on the weekend is pushed to Monday.The script also look for a specific job type (floor plans) so that only they count towards the slot number (10:00-11:00am, 11:00-12:00pm etc).As best I can tell, anything relating to the timezone of the automation and formulas it ties into is set to “Use same time zone for all collaborators”

Hi, I am trying to set up renting hours for a local association and I am looking for the best way to do that.We have some outdoor material that can be rented by the hour. Would you have a smart suggestion for not having to write manualy 8 lines (8hours per day of renting) x 123 days (4 months of the summer) = 984 lines ?After we will see yo integrate that with a google calendar.Thanks
