Good DayI have generated a base and from that base a form. Once submitted the form automatically adds the information to the base. When the new record is generated in the base I want to send an email to the person submitting the form. There is a field in the form where the person adds there ID I used that field in the To part of the automation and I am getting an error.  The below is the layout of my  automation In the Body of the text is a member number that is automatically generated when the form is submitted.When Generating a Preview I get an Error Message

Hello,I have a base and I want to create forms that allow some to suggest new entries into the base. Once the suggestion comes through I would approve it then merge it into the base. However I need to know who that person is and limit access to the form to okta users. Whats the best way to go about doing this?

I have a Master Inventory of all line items for a project. We then create Material Requests where we collate a number of these line items (maybe a few hundred) per vessel sailing. I need a way of effectively viewing the Inventory and selecting a checkbox or similar, then allocating these items to that Material Request. This creates a new record for that item. I can go into my material request currently and select individual items that are added, but cannot find a method of bulk selection and allocation.   

Feeling a little stupid because I can’t figure out how to do this. It is a simple task on a spreadsheet, but I have failed in all my attempts to get it to work. I am managing a construction project and I have creating 2 tables, One for electrical costs and another for Sprinklers Cost. I then created a third table, which I call it Dashboard. The intention with that table is to show the sums of all costs from the other tables. For example, on the sprinklers table, I have a column (Quote) with all the costs I have incurred so far. I did the same thing on the Electrical table. On the Dashboard table I have created a record for Sprinklers and another for Electrical, and for each record I need to show the sum of the costs for the tables Electrical and Sprinklers As per the images attached, I want to be able to show the value of $14,300 (sum of all costs on the column “Quote” of the Electrical table) on the record of Electrical #200,

I have a very simple automation that runs every 15 mins. It finds rows from a table that have data in a specific column and then uses a repeating group to send a slack message to each of the channels listed in those rows it found. This typically works 90% of the time but usually a handful of times a day it errors out for Slack API rate limited. Sometimes it errors out with 4 groups that it found but will also error out with 1 group. Experiencing similar issues related to the repeating groups for slack messages.  Any help is appreciated.  

Hi there, I am looking at creating a line graph in the interface. Is there a way to show multiple teams as the lines?  What I am hoping for is X axis to have the months and the Y axis to have the number and each month to populate the number is this possible?  Thank you

Hi everyone! Our library uses an Airtable base for approving programs, some of which are one-time and others are repeating. We’re running into a problem where we’re sometimes overbooking on a single day (this is across multiple branches, so we have the room, but we try not to host too many programs on one day) and we’d really like to see all our programs on a calendar view. The problem is with the recurring programs. Right now, the base is set up with a text field where programmers put in their dates (e.g. “every third Wednesday from 11-12”) but obviously Airtable can’t read that. We could set up individual date fields for each occurrence, but some of these programs are staples, held dozens of times a year and would necessitate dozens of date fields. As a work around, I tried making a separate “Calendar” table with the dates as primary fields, and then in the main table, the date field became a linked record field. Hi AllI have a Base A with Table 1 and Table 2. One of the fields in Table 1 is a linked record field to Table 2.I also have Base B with Table 1 synced to this base.Rather than showing a linked record from Table 2 in the field in Base B Table 1, a text field with the entry in the primary field for Table 2 appears - is this expected behaviour? If so, how should the setup be structured to show the linked record? If I have a Table 3 in Base B that has a linked record field to Base B Table 1 and I want it to have a lookup field to the linked record field already in Base B Table 1, is that achievable?Thank you.

We are currently using dedupe to identify duplicates in our records.Since our records is growing, we need to do it in automated way everytime there's a new record coming in.Here's the scenario:When a new property address will be added, there should be an automation that will automatically check the current records that we had, and it will tag this new property address if it's a duplicate or not.We just want to have an accurate solution if there's a new entry coming in, it will automatically mark or tag as duplicate.You can just imagine a Google Spreadsheet, if there's a duplicate it will suddenly highlight the column with duplicates.Do you think it's possible?

How to make new inventory items automatically link to the corresponding room in our building by linking or with a formula or automation.When a new item is added, how can I make that item auto populate in another tab by room (multi select)?This is the base. We have a robust inventory with “ALL ITEMS” and items by room. Hello there, I want to create a form in Softr, connected to my Airtable DB, where my employees will input their availabilities for “next week”, so I need to generate automatically the “next week” concept. I have created a table “weeks”, with the following columns :Week number Year To generate the concept of “is next week”, I want to create a date field “today” that updates automatically on a daily basis, and then in the field “is next week”, put a formula. However, I don’t know how to automate the update of the date at “today’s date” . Can you please help ? :)

Hey there, I am currently building some automation scripts in conjunction with my API. For performance reasons i would like to call multiple promises in a Promise.all function. However it seems that whenever I try to make an array of promises that by calling my async function (without await) that it already executes the fetch call to my API. Which shouldn’t happen.  let promises = records.map((record) => {  let firstPromise = asyncFunctionWithFetchCall1(record);  let secondPromise = asyncFunctionWithFetchCall2(record);  return [firstPromise, secondPromise];});let results = await Promise.all(promises.flat());here firstPromise and secondPromise already execute the fetch call within the functions.Has anyone experienced this before and is there a fix for this? Thank

HelloI have a table, shown in Interfaces as a list and I designed a complex Record Detail. I have duplicated the list for convenience in a different interface - thinking I could amend it in the second interface (I only need a button), but it seems the two record details are linked, I cannot edit one alone. Is there a way to un-duplicate the two record details, without having to rebuild the list and record details? 

Hello everyone,I'm running into a very frustrating issue with the Google Drive Sync feature and I'm hoping the collective experience here can help, since support is currently unresponsive.My Goal: I want to set up a one-way sync from a Google Sheets file to a new table in my Airtable base, to use that sheet as a data "dictionary".The Problem: I am on the Team plan. When I start the process from Airtable (+ Add or import -> Google Drive), I successfully authenticate my Google Workspace account. However, the next window, which should show me the files in my Drive to select from, is always completely empty.I have already performed all the troubleshooting steps I could find, but with no success.Troubleshooting Checklist (What I've Already Tried):✅ Plan Confirmed: My base is correctly on the Team plan. ✅

I created an automation to notify an assigned person, however when an assigned person gets an email, the previous assigned person also gets CC’ed with the same notification. I am using a multiple users field.  Created a simple workflow trigger that listens for that field to be updated and sends an email. It works great when only 1 person gets assigned. However when a 2nd person gets assigned it triggers an email for the 2nd person and creates CC for all the previous people. I want to only notify each person once, not multiple times for each assigned person.

So I have a paragraph, from which I would like to extract a few sentences via formula. The reason for this is that I need to copy the sentences in the middle and insert them into other pieces of text. I need to do this a lot of times, for text in several languages I do not read, which makes it annoying to do visually.  While the number of characters will vary a lot language to language, the number of sentences is the same, so I had hoped to use periods and REGEX to isolate the sentences I need. Basically I have: > This is the first sentence. Here’s another sentence. Beginning of the part I need. I also need this. Here’s a sentence I don’t need. <!--more--> I can use Regex and LEN to get rid of the <!--more-->,  but it seems like going further than that is beyond my current skill. Any ideas?

Ive tried to set p a workflow automation to X - but Im getting errors?  

I’m trying to create a database to track income from various deals. I have several different types of deals with different commission rates and they are covered in separate tables - but often several types of deal will apply to one title (I’m a literary agent) and I’m trying to bring it all together so I know, for each title, what the author earned and what the agency earned.I’ve successfully set this up using look up fields for one set of deals but now I’ve started adding in another set and something is going wrong but I can’t see what I’m doing differently. The main information is clearly coming through because the name field (which is generated via automation when the original table is updated) but the look up fields for those records aren’t pulling through. Any thoughts why that might be? Thanks   

Hello I am trying to share an interface to new users as view-only. This shared interface should be as low-effort as possible, immediate access to the table and the detailed records, nothing else. Instead the invited user is asked to sign-up (for free), is shown an horrible and totally irrelevant App Builder process and shown he has 14-days free account. This is totally unacceptable for us: is that how it is supposed to work?  How do expert users of Airtable do this? Is it possible to embed the interface somewhere else? Or do we need to build in our website these interfaces via API?
