Lets say I am linking a People Table and a Projects Table.In the People table I want a column that has all the Projects Associated with that specific person. In the Projects table, I already have all the projects listed along with the associated person. When I ‘Link from Another Record’ from People to Projects, nothing populates. I’ve tried the LookUp as well but nothing populates as well. 

I'm encountering an issue today with the Airtable interface. When I try to add a chart, table, etc., by clicking on the plus sign, nothing happens. Do you have any ideas about the source of the problem? I don't think I've exceeded the limit of 50 pages per interface, as I have deleted some content, yet the issue persists.

Hello everyone, I have a pretty specific question form a form I want to have connected to my site. So I want to have a contact form on my website that is kindoff a two step process. First step is the user inputs their name, number and address of the property. Once the user inputs this info and clicks get a quote, it will take them to the second part of the form where they input just a couple more details.Ideally what I want to happen is this:If the user completes the first step but upon moving to the second step decides not to complete it because of time it would take to fill out, I still would like the info that he submitted in the first step to be submitted to airtable. Is it possible to do this? 

Hi everyone, I have a problem with Lock view. I have a view that I lock so that other people can’t modify/change my data listed there. but when i try to share this view. the toolbar for fields, group, sort, etc is not locked and the person that is using the shared URL can use it.Is this a bug or thats just the way it is?if yes, then is there a workaround for this?thank you in advance  

Hi,I am having an issue using automations and having a message sent in Slack as the final step. I have a formula that looks to an estimate and creates a budget off of that number. I then want to take the data from that field and enter it into a slack message. The problem I am having is the number I am using from the field ( as an example) is 75.6. It is being output from the Slack automtion as 75.61953142857142. No matter how it gets formatted in the formula cell (i.e. with no decimal points, ROUND formulas, etc. the long number always gets output from the Slack message. Is this an inherent flaw in the automations or am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any help in advance. 

This formula is very handy DATETIME_PARSE({WEEKNUM}&’’,‘w’) however I need the first day of a work week to be and Monday and the last day of the workweek be Sunday How can I modify this formula?

Hi there, This is a common question that I wish it does not have to involve a formula.  But I guess it should.  Can you tell me the way to write a formula to specify how I can account the total number of active projects for one month (Feb 2025)?   I have a start date and end date.   Combo Request DateNeeded By DateDate format MM/DD/YYYY When I write the formula it is not capturing the correct records active in Feb 2025. IF(  AND(    OR(      DATETIME_FORMAT({Combo Request Date}, 'MM-DD-YYYY') >= '02-01-2025',      AND(        {Combo Request Date} <= '02-28-2025',        {Needed By} >= '02-01-2025'      )    ),    {Needed By} >= '02-01-2025'  ),  1,  0) Do I need to specify status on-going, complete, in progress?

Is it possible to add groups to combine elements when starting from a blank interface?  I have groups when starting from a dashboard, but I’d like to be able to add them to a blank interface.

I’m an airtable newbie. I’m building a base for planning production (live events) for the AV company I work for. One of the things I need to track is our pre show, show, and post show milestones in the planning process. The time frame is based on when we are loading in gear for the event. I need to make an automation that will take the load-in date and subtract 30 days for pre-show items, stay the same date for show items, and add 14 days for post show items. I have the pre, show, and post as a single select. Any and all help would be appreciated 

I'm using the Outlook automation "When a new email is received" for the first time. However, it's not allowing me to pull the Sender. The Sender is grayed out (see image), and when I hover over it, it says, "No valid nested options."Has anyone seen this before? Do you have any idea how to fix it so it will pull the Sender into the newly created record? 

I have a list of clients that I do work for. I do the same 50 tasks for each client. Each field in my table is another task. The tasks are dropdowns with the status of the task like assigned, in progress, completed, and questions for supervisor.My supurvisor wants to create a view that shows only the questions for her. I did this by filtering the view to only show records (clients) that has the choice ‘questions for supervisor’ in field a, b, c d, etc. all the way through. This works well.However, I need to unhide all the fields because maybe that field is the one with a question. So, when a question pops up in her view, she has to scroll all the way to the right until she finds the field that has a question. This wastes a lot of time especially because there are a lot of clients and by each client there can be more then one question.I am looking for a way to only unhide a field that has ‘questions for supervisor’ for at least one record. But after adding someone as a commenter, I noticed in the workspace settings that they were listed under billable users. That confused me, so I started searching the community — and I found posts confirming that commenters are billed on the Team plan.I'm now exploring other options, and I came across this in the Airtable support documentation for the Business plan:“The following collaborator permissions on the self-serve Business plans are billable:Editor, Creator, Owner.”What I’m trying to confirm is:👉 Is this 100% accurate – that on the Business plan, I would only be billed for Editors, Creators, and Owners, and that Commenters and Viewers are free?

I have a base indexed by project name. Each project is assigned a salesperson and a department number. I want to learn how to create a task template within this base. Each project will have the same set of tasks/subtasks. It would be great if there’s a way to automatically populate a task list when I create a new project in the base. Any direction you can provide (guides, etc.) would be greatly appreciated!

Hello everyone 👋I've been working with airtable for years as a consultant and user, but have never been active in the community - that's about to change. I'm super interested in anything to do with airtable and emails as I keep seeing a few challenges: The challenge of receiving and tracking email responses. Replies to emails sent via Airtable end up in the void instead of the shared inbox Record limits quickly become a problem when saving emails as records Threading issue when parsing emails and creating records in AirtableAs I'm thinking of clever ways to solve these problems, I'm eager to hear feedback from the community.  If you've worked on something like this before, use airtable + emails frequently, or have any of the above issues, please let me know!

The app doesn’t retain login. I login into the app as normal,  go through the bases etc.. no problem. After close it by swiping the app (so it’s still running) or by terminating it, when restarting, the app asks me to login again. I just submitted another issue with Airtable app crashing on uploading images so this seems a separate issue with this current version.Submitted ticket for both issues but I am wondering if anybody else experiencing this. I live in the mobile all so this is quite a problem for me. In the meantime I need to create a Fillout form to be able to update Airtable records.  

Hi,i’m trying to create an Interface → Dashbord.Got the pivot table. I set option: “Click to see underlying records”, bo absolutely i don't know how to edit what info is shown in this list (i don’t mean “Click into record details” - detailed info is working fine).I would be gamechanging option for me, but i need to set different info on this list to correctly and fast identify entries.  

Hi,I am importing raw data periodically, let’s say monthly.Every import includes a data field with the date of import.Given the repetitive imports, the key differentiator (let's say Supplier ID) is repeating.I added a locked view where I filter by import date.=> I now want to analyse the data for two of the imports, e.g., 1. January and 1. June and see if any supplier was added or removed and what data in a specific field (e.g. performance) has changed. The closest I got was partly manual and didn't work: I copied and pasted all Supplier IDs from both import dates into Excel and then removed duplicates.In a new table with auto number index, I added that list into two linked Supplier ID fields, and each of the fields linked to the views 1. Jan und 1. June. Then, I added two look-up fields for the performance of each date.My goal was to have a list showing either the relevant performance per different date fields or bla

 We are not using Comments and instead developed a separate “Updates” for team members to make updates to projects. We want the ability for users to “tag people” but looking for a way for those people to get an email or Slack notification. Any thoughts how to do this?

How can a newb find his webhook url so i can have vapi communicate with airtable -   i have this set up in another account and copying all to a new client account - and i can not rember how I got the url to add to vapi?  halp if you can

Hi,In my Airtable, I have a simple Work Order app, connected to Softr.My tables are: Owners, Units, Work Orders. All 3 tables are linked.I would like to automate (autofill?)  “Owner’s Name Surname” in Work Orders  tableWhen a user chooses an Unit (like in WO 6),  Owner’s Name Surname  should be automatically filled (in WO 6 -  “John Doe”).(I can rearrange  Owners  table, and make   Owner’s email   as primary field, if that will help)I have tried different Automations, but I couldn’t make it. Thank you very much.
