I have an automation that hits a Twilio Studio Flow URL from a script and runs every 15 minutes. I get the first record that does not contain a checkmark, use that record, and then add a checkmark to the record. Eventually, all the records get a checkmark, and when they do, I want to start the script over (by unchecking all the records) or tell the script to stop running

Hi! I am working on an HR base. I want to create updates between two tables: Interviewers & Applicants. There is a link to another record field column called ‘Interviewer’ which shows which team member will interview for a particular role. I want to set up an automation so that each time we receive a new job application (Applicants table) for a particular role, the link to another record field Interviewer field will automatically update with the team members name who is going to interview them (which is already predetermined)? Hi, How can I send a monthly email to an updating group of email addresses? I need a specific email to send on the 28th of each month. I have created an “email” field under which I have different email addresses in each cell. These are the addresses that the monthly email should send to. It is important that if I add or delete email addresses from the grid, the recipients of the email will be updated. So if I delete an email address from the field before the 28th of a given month, the email will not send to that address. If I add an email address to the field, that email address will be included in the monthly emails. Is there a way to do this? Thanks

Hi, I am looking for finding a way to create an automation to create record from Outlook mails easily. The way I was thinking to do it is to move or duplicate an Email in a dedicated folder to “mark” them as “TODO” The problem is that I can’t manage to find a way to automate this record creation. I have absolutely no idea on how webhooks are working and if it can do something with outlook and I can’t find any easy answer Does someone have any idea or any ready-to-work solution?

Hi there, Airtable community, You’ve helped me before on numerous occasions and I’d like to extend my warm thanks. Couldn’t find an answer to this one, though: I have public users creating records in Table A using a form view. In one field, they’re able to upload attachments. The records created end up in Table A, named “Entries”. Then, I use an automation so that every attachment uploaded to a record in Table A is created as a new record in Table B. Works like a charm. Unfortunately, if the Attachment column contains multiple attachments, only one is handled by the automation. So here’s the issue: how can I split multiple attachments from one record in Table A and create a separate record for each one in Table B?

Hello! Sorry if this has been asked before, searched through the forums and didn’t quite find the answer I needed to solve my problem. Context I have an Inventory Tracking base with multiple tables inside. One of the tables is a Purchase Orders table to which I add any purchase I made. The problem is that it’s getting very lengthy and I’d like to break out all the sales and profit information into it’s own table. Want What I’d like to do is create a Profits table and have it automatically pull in every record from the Purchase Order table. Ideally I’d like to do this without any 3rd party tool as it will allow me to share this template with my friends and have it just work out of the box. Thanks in advance for any help!

Hello! I have a script to pick a collaborator from another thread. I’m telling the script which collaborators to choose from as not all would be assigned to a record. However, when I’m running the script, it’s consistently only assigning the first collaborator in the list. Does anyone know how I can modify this script in my automation to basically round robin the collaborators? Where if it picked Collaborator1 this time, next time it picks Collaborator2? Or even, at a minimal request, get the script below to actually pick someone other than the first one all the time? :slightly_smiling_face: I so appreciate this communities wealth of knowledge, so thank you in advance! I have a form that requires an attachment for a conditional field. I’ve tested the form and I haven’t been able to submit without the attachment, but others are getting through without the attachment, which means the team has to follow up and request the additional information. I’ve tried to create an automation that will email the person submitting the form that they forgot an attachment, but the automation has failed. Does anyone have suggestions on how to set something up or to help us ensure the user includes the attachment(s)? Thanks.

Hello everyone! Is it possible to retrieve the record name having it’s id without the need of requesting the whole table which contains this record? By other words, if I know there is an object {id: “something”, name: “something other”} and I can get it’s properties let obj = {id: 1, name:"object name"}; console.log(obj.id, obj.name); Can I make a reverse? Say, I know recordID, it has a unique value. Can I retrieve the name belonging to this recordID? Thanks in advance.

I have seen several topics similar to mine but have been unable to get this automation working. My goal is to send an email per record in my summary table at the time defined in the “At a scheduled time” trigger. Each record contains, among other fields: 1) Name, 2) Email Address, 3) Lookup field with a list of items, e.g. “item 1, item 2, item 3”. So, the list of items would be different for each record. At the scheduled time I want to send one email per record to the Email Address field and include the list of items in the lookup field. I was using a Find action to locate all records in my table that have linked records, and therefore have values in the lookup field (using a view to find records). But when I preview my email, I see all the values of all linked records concatenated together, as well as all the email addresses concatenated together. I was hoping for one email per record with values from that record.

My question: I have my own React-Nodejs app and I want to show this information, is there any way to get that finalObject from my own app? like making a get request to get the finalObject. They have an API where this is possible – just need to figure out how to write the JS code to call the API. I’ve written some automation code before with AirTable in JS – so I’m familiar with writing JS in and of itself…its just the calling the API part that I need some assistance with. Thoughts? Hi I am new to airtable and would like to have some assistance from this community. I will try to explain what I want to build and hope that you can help me with some guidance how to do this. I want to create a database of let’s say 100 customers. Each customer has a couple of parameters that can change each year. For example: Total number of employees = 10, etc… Now I would like that on 2 different moments of each year these customers receive an template e-mail where we ask to fill in the potential changes of these parameters. If they complete this proces, the new data has to be send to the database and be filled into a new e-mail template that automaticle will be send to an e-mailadres that is also listed in the database in the record of this costumer. In a perfect world I would like to gather the new data via VideoAsk by Typeform. I hope this is a clear example. Please feel free to ask further questions or give more advice then asked for. Hello! Estate Agent looking for a quick way to schedule our viewing requests. We get anywhere from 15 to 60 viewing requests per property we sell, and would like a quicker way of organising them. Currently we ask for peoples ‘general availability’ over the coming week (we list properties on Monday’s normally) - from here we put it all into a spreadsheet with their preferred day, then confirm appointments to them after about 1-2 hours of working put a schedule where EVERYONE can get a viewing. We’d use a tool where people can book themselves in, however 1) with so many viewings if people book themselves in people miss out and 2) on one or more days you get people right at the start of the day and one at the end of the day, so makes the rest of the business inefficient (we are a two person team so super important to be as efficient as poss) Is there a way of creating a table where we can put in peoples availability and it organises it into the most efficient workflow…? Any help is super

I want to use automation to send a tweet when a date field is a day after today. But I don’t want all records that match that condition to trigger sending the tweet at exactly the same time. The actual time could be any random time during the day or spread out at fixed intervals. The important thing is that they go out on the correct date but don’t go out at exactly the same time as there can be any number of them and that would be poor form on Twitter. :grinning_face_with_sweat: My thinking is that I can have two conditions, one for the date and another that matches the current time with a sequenced or randomly generated timeslot. But I cannot quite work out how to do that second part… Any ideas?

Hi everyone! So, we have a google calendar synced to our base in a table. We are trying to take the information in that table’s description field and extract elements (which we did with the regex formula) and create a new record in a separate table with that information. It’s giving us problems. It doesn’t allow us to use a field with a formula on the create a record. Any suggestions?

Hi all, An incoming webhook I’m using for automation is sending an array, and I want to display this as a string. I found array functions for Airtable which would fit my need, but it seems those are not parsed in the “create record” action functionality when configuring this automation. Is there anything I can do to use this property? Also, when I pick the “insert as grid/list” options I get a popup with “An error has occurred”. But maybe I have the field type wrong? So if I can get that one to work that would be awesome too.

Hey everyone, Is it possible to turn automations on and off from a script? I’m trying to turn them all off automatically during weekends, so messages don’t show up until monday. My caveman way would be something like const d = new Date(); let day = d.getDay(); if (day !== 0 && day !== 6) { //Turn all automations off } Would that make any sense? Or would it be better if I leave my automations on forever and try to script them in order to only activate on weekdays? Thanks in advance
