Hi everyone! I'm working on a project to track and monitor my Airtable automations. I want to create a base that will automatically populate with all my existing automations and update every time an automation runs. This way, I can easily view the run history of all my automations in one place, without having to check each one individually. Is it possible to connect automations to a base and track their run count automatically? I've reviewed the documentation but couldn't find a solution. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I have a base with a record for each computer (about 4,000 total) that I am responsible for managing in my large corporation, and each record has fields about the computer including its Serial Number and Hostname, among others.I am provided with a semi-regular report in the form of a CSV from the company that lists every computer that has checked in with their security monitoring program which is required to be installed every computer. The CSV has more than 30,000 records. I want to ensure the computers I am responsible for are compliant and checking in, so I import the CSV into Airtable and then search for my computers by SN and Hostname. I use an automation to search for each computer in the CSV and update a field in each computer record to indicate if a match is found or not.In my current setup, the trigger for the automation is a single-select field on each computer record. I would like to have a notification sent when a field is changed. For example, if a field is changed to Ready for Review, I would like an email to be sent to a certain person. How do I do that or can I do it?

When a form is submitted, the information does not populate into the base right away as it always has. When I check the base the following day-- usually 24 hours later-- the information is there.We are on the Team (plus) plan, and have been for more than a year. This is the 4th or 5th time this has occurred within the past year. This impacts our workflow. Please help... what does the mean?

The objective of the code is to select the options that are in the array for a multiple select field. I don't understand why it never allows adding options even if they are exactly the same as those in the table. It is an automation script. I teaching myself automations and have a requirement I cannot figure out how to get to work. Love ideas.I need to set up a daily automation that looks at all of the records in a certain table and if any record has yesterday's date, send a single email to the recipient that includes a link to a view to look at the data. So the logic would be something like in table X, count number of records where payment date = yesterday. If count > 0, send an email with a link to a view that shows all the records with payment date = yesterday.Thank you!!!

Hi allCan someone please advise how to make an automation to occur for when a button is clicked ("complete in 'Next Action' field) this will match the Quantity Ordered number to Quantity Dispatched number so that Quantity Remaining formula shows as 0.Alternative suggestions welcome 🙂 Just wanting an override in my system as Ordered doesnt = Dispatched 

I need some help with something. I am building out a project management system for my team. Our projects tend to be pretty big, so each project has it's own base. But, we need a project overview base to allow leadership to see the status of projects easily. I have an Overview base built, but I need some way to automatically update the percent complete of each project in the Overview base. We have the team level subscription, so I cannot update the source records from the project base. I would prefer not to use any 3rd party systems like Make or Zapier, but if that is the only way to do this, I am open to it. Any help or ideas would be awesome! 

I have read all the comments and solutions re: logos in the emails.  I have done<img width="200" height="50" src="https://www.brittcoxgroup.com/site_data/brittcoxgroup/editor_assets/Wide%20Logo%20with%20CB.png">but it still does not work.  Please help. 

The AI responses in an automation action have drastically deteriorated. I suspect the reason is Airtable is no longer calling GPT-4. Previously, you could choose between GPT-3 or GPT-4. Now it is a toggle that says "Use AI models that optimize for best results", which I only noticed when investigating some bizarre fields in my base that were populated via AI.

Hi allI have an Orders Table and an Order Line Items table.I have a Date Required field within the Orders Table which is linked to my Order Line Items table.I want to have an Updated ETD (estimated time of departure) field against each line item so it is separate from affecting the overall order ETD (i.e. each line item with one order can have a different ETD).Ideally I want to just show the format as mmm-yy (i.e. July-24)Any ideas on automating this so that the Updated ETD takes the Date Required data but can be editable? Thanks!

Hi AllMy apologies if this is too simplistic - I’ve only got six months or so experience with Airtable…I suspect use case doesn’t matter here, since my “issue” is at the record and field level. Here is the scenario:- a form with some fields pre-filled is sent to a Client for additions and updates, is submitted by them, and creates a new record in an UPDATE table, separate from the main, “real” table; Clients often have no regard for “garbage in, garbage out”…- a manual review of the two tables “side-by-side” is performed to make sure data in each field is the type of data expected - both in text and attachment fields- an automation does an “Update Record” on the main table, using the data from the UPDATES table record, hence moving the new data to the Client's existing record in the main tableThe result is that blank fields in the UPDATE table overwrite existing data in the main

Hi,I'm afraid I couldn't find the correct Airtable documentation on this, please point me in the direction if there ready help somewhere.In an automation I have a conditional logic step. In that I have two conditions to be be met. One is a "type" kind of single select field, which translates to "Mini Day" in this case. This works.The other condition tries to look for text in a rollup field. Here is the problem, I can't get it to work and can't figure out how 'contain' works. In the preview field I can see the text I'm looking for, eg "Digi-Gold", but it doesn't work when tested.Here's a screenshot of the view:I also tried other text strings ('perusmaksu' and 'sessio') but nothing I tried works.What are requisites for "contain" to work? How does it work? Can I use use one condition to find several text strings, e.g. "sessio OR gold"?

Hi there, I'm looking to bulk create a handful of training sessions based off an initial kickoff date. I have a table of training sessions and a template table with an offset from the first session. Most trainings run on a regular basis, but sometimes we need to reschedule. For this reason, I need the result to be a normal, editable field (not a formula I can't touch). I am using automations to create the number of sessions I need. I also have an automation to populate the first training session based on a value on another table that will be entered manually. I can't figure out how to populate the subsequent dates for sessions based off an offset. I tried a DATEADD() formula to sum my duration field (the offset) with the original date, but that didn't work. In plain English, if session 1 is today, session 2 will be next week in the same time and place, session 3 will be 2 weeks from today, etc. Any ideas? I a

Hi all,Is there a way to view a breakdown of automation runs by time period (e.g. billing period) and more importantly by base > automation?I want to bring my run numbers down (so I don' have to upgrade) but it's not easy to see which automations are eating into my quota. I know I can see number of automation runs in total per workspace, for the current cycle, but need more detail than this.Thanks! 

I want to create a cash flow table for a month, where the beginning of the month balance automatically or with the help of a formula gets data from the end-of-month balance of the previous month.Manually entered at the beginning of January "beginning of the month", all the rest is automatic.And so on for all months.I have tried to do this with a formula, but unfortunately with no success.I need your help 🙂

ContextI'm putting together a volunteer sign up sheet (an Interface). The sheet goes live at a specific time, and people will be waiting by their computers so they can get the more desirable shifts. Once a shift is assigned, it no longer appears on the sheet (it is removed from the View underlying the Interface). However, it's not immediate. This means multiple people can click a shift's "Pick Shift" button before the record is removed from the view and button inaccessible.I need the first person to click the button — or at least the first click we hear about because of latency — to be the one who gets the shift. (This would be trivial in SQL, including in Supabase on which Airtable is built, but, alas…).Believe-it-or-not, I figured out how to do this (or at least get extremely close) with a Script in an automation. Hi there,I am new to using automations and hopeful this is something I'm just overlooking. I'm having trouble with an automation for a "Shift Reminder" SMS.Goal is:1. At a Trigger time find records with a Start Date of "day after" trigger2. Send SMS to associated cell numbers with each trigger to remind of shiftI have no issues if there is only one record returned. The SMS goes through without issue. If there is a second record returned the first record SMS goes through but the second record SMS is ignored.Would be so appreciative of any help! Thanks!  

Hi, What I would like to do is simple : When I update a record in table "Participations", I want to check if this record is the earliest (in term of date) record linked to a specific company. If it is, in single select field "Participation active?" select automatically value "active".How would you do that? I have an automation that runs based on the trigger, when a record is created.  This automation runs perfectly in all tests.  However, when I run a process that creates 5-10 records within 2 minutes, the automation does not run for all records.   This clearly tells me that the Airtable infrastructure cannot handle even the smallest volume.  This is deeply concerning.  I would not expect an automation to run into volume issues until the volume was over 1000 a minute.Has anyone else seen this similar poor performance from Airtable interfaces?

I have a field generating an email for each person on a list: CONCATENATE( {First Name},".",{Last Name},"@Gmail.Com")  This formula creates a First.Last@Gmail.com list in my "Resource email:" field.The issue is, when I create an automation to send an email to the "Resource email:" field, it throws an error, showing that the email it read for that field was just ".@gmail.com". It's not detecting the first or last within the automation. The automation is set up as "when a record is created"  currently as well. Any help on getting the email field to read correctly? 

Hello,I need to send a csv file to my email when a record matches a condition. I was hoping simple scripting would work, but it seems like this is not yet doable with native Airtable tools. I saw in a previous post that someone suggested to "use a script that creates the csv or Excel file using the CloudConvert service (or another similar service) and attaches the csv file to a record". I will only need to do this max 25 times a day, which it seems like CloudConvert offers for free. I would like to try to make this process free. I tried setting up an API key on Cloud Convert but my script is saying it is unauthenticated. Is anyone familiar with how to set this up?

One table is called Appointments where we upload an invoice in the attachment field called "Invoice" and another table is called "Contacts" where we store all invoices in the field "All Invoices" for a certain contact.
