Hello! I have an event workback schedule set up with a formula column to auto-generate a due date based on what date I specify in my date column (see ex. formula below). However, I would like to have the formula column auto-generate a list of due dates based on one 'master' date. I BELIEVE this would be an automation, possibly?For example, we have an event coming up on April 7th. I would like to specify 'April 7th' in Airtable and have all the due dates in my work back schedule auto-update. I have an automation that is sending a Google Doc link via gmail. But when the link sends, an underscore is left out somehow, so the link doesn't work. Any idea why? I support an organization fundraising in a variety of currencies (USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, ILS). To simplify the process for the person maintaining the list, I have a single number field for the donation amount and a single linked field to select the appropriate currency (this is opposed to having 5-6 different currency fields on the intake form and needing to choose the correct currency field each time). We found that it was easier and faster to use a linked filed as opposed to a single select for currency.I would like to keep a running total of all the donations' values in both USD and EUR so I can use rollup fields to display overall amounts on a dashboard (i.e. my 100 donations in a variety of currencies are worth a total of USD 10,000 or EUR 9,500).Exchange rates are "static" in that if on the day of the donation, the ILS:USD rate is 4:1, it should stay calculated at that rate forever, even if in a year from now the rate is different. Hi all - I’m trying to run an automation using a 3rd party Webhook. When a new Post is sent live, or updated, in my WordPress site I want to send various bits of info about that Post to AirTable. Everything works fine when I use ‘Create Record’ (so I know the webhook works) but obviously if I update the Post at any point it just adds it as a duplicate. So what I want to do is use Update Record instead (I think?). When a new Post is created, add it to AT, if that post is updated, update the record in AT. However - my understanding from this post Update record action failing (error: received invalid inputs.) - #3 by Brian_Nana-Sinkam, given what @Kamille_Parks says, is that I can’t use a Record ID from my Webhook e.g. Post_GUID. I need to use the AT Record ID. Which I don’t have available it seems.

Hello! I want to use the AI text generation field to query the LLM. When I use GPT 4.o with the same prompt on ChatGPT it works fine, however when I use the same prompt in Airtable, I get "no information found" as e reply (my prompt asks to provide this answer if there is no information found for the question). So I wonder:Which AI model does Airtable use for users that are not on the Enterprise tier?Why the difference in answers?If Airtable is using GPT, is it using a version that can and will use "Tools" to answer the prompt?Thanks for your help.

Hi,I have table of properties, faults and professionals.When I have a fault, I create a new record in the faults table and select the property where the fault occurred and the professional who worked on the fault.If the problem has been solved, I change the status to "Done" and send an email (with the help of automation) with a request for payment (that the customer will transfer payment to the professional) for the work.I want that when I buy the materials to deal with the problem, I have the option to add it to the email sent to the customer.For example - if an apartment had to be painted and there was no paint, I went to buy the paint, now when I mark this task as "done" I would like the customer to receive an email with a payment request for the painting work (payment to the professional) and also for the paint (payment for the supplier) when sending a request for payment I send the customer the private bank details of the professional/supplier

Hi,I work for a property management company.I made a table for assets, faults, professionals and suppliers.When there is a fault, I add a fault to the fault table and link to the property where it happened.In addition, I add to the fault the professional in the fault.When the fault is over, an email is sent to the customer to whom the property belongs and in the email there is a request for payment for the fault with the professional's bank details (for bank transfer).So far it's working great!When we need to buy materials for the breakdowns.I wanted to do the same as with the professionals only with suppliers.I mean, when there is a malfunction for the purpose of the example - painting an apartment - and there is no paint then we buy from one of the suppliers, at the end of the malfunction I would like to ask the customer in the email of the automation to transfer payment for the supplier as well.It also works great!

Hello! Apologies if this is already solved or discuss or I am just missing something obvious. I am trying to create a button on an interface that does the following: Run an automation that has a custom script, create a new record in a different table, and then navigate the user to different section of the Interface. I don't see any automation actions that would navigate the user. I do see that a button can be used on its own to navigate the user to a different section of the interface, but I don't see any way to combine these methods into one swift action. Is something like this possible? Thank you in advance for your help! James 

I use the found records automation to create my report and the date is in the correct format, her DoB is 10th JulyBut when I add this as a grid of records to the Send an Email automation, the DoB shows as 7/10/1953 i.e. 7th October.and this is what arrives in the recipient's email.   

Hi,I have an automation which sends emails reminders to a set of users every week. When it emails the users, it's setup that I get CCd on the reminder email also.After the email is sent, the automation updates a field of the next reminder date (which is a formula that sets the date to 7 days from the current reminder date).This works sporadically which is strange to me.Why might this happen? And what's the fix? 

Hello,I have weird behavior when sending a webhook.For this project, I am working on a free airtable space. So I can't use scripts.This is a table in which I have large images. I want to reduce them (basically, go from 3-4 MB to 150 KB).I have a Make scenario which is fine except that it receives the duplicate webhook and therefore triggers twice.In Airtable, I have an automation that will copy a webhook into an attachment field to launch the webhookthe trigger: when the “Image” field is updatedthe webhook: a formula = WH Make & record ID Airtable & a timestamp of the modified las (without the timestamp, the WH is always identical and Airtable only triggers it the first time)When I modify the image, the autom airtable only fires once, but Make receives 2 webhooksAnyone have any idea why? (and a solution)

Good morning everyone.I have two different databases because I organize two different companies and sell cars. Both have their own car stock but I would like to create a table with both stocks together (they have the same column format). The IDs of the two tables are AUTONUMBER but I could use the frame as the unique id.I currently did this:1) created a synchronized table from database B to database A2) created record creation automation from database sync table B to table A (works)3) when I try to create the record update automation it always gives me an error, I don't know what to put in the RECORD ID field because it only offers me the data from table B, not AI also tried with Zapier, Make, anyway...How can I solve it? I am going crazy!!

Hello Airtable Community,I have a relatively complex use case.I have a table in which projects are created, a table for tasks and a table for project phases. Then I have a template table with standard tasks and a template table with standard phases. I would now like both the standard phases and the standard tasks to be created by an automation when a button for a project is clicked.I have created two automations for this, one for the tasks and one for the phases. Everything works fine. Both the tasks and the phases are linked to the project. However, the tasks are not automatically linked to the phase. The aim is that, for example, when all tasks in phase 1 are completed, the phase is also completed.Thank you and best regards.Mirko 

I am working on creating a system to track training for my company and am running into an issue I can't figure out. I have built the database and would like my "Ring Central Training" table to be updated once a feedback form is submitted so that way, we have an automated way of checking off when employees have gone through training. The Ring Central Training table will ideally have all of the employee names there now as well as what teams they belong to. The issue I am having is that once I created the automation I have the error that there is invalid inputs. Ideally I would like the "Scheduled" option in the Ring Central table to get change to completed once the form is submitted as well as the Date of Training to change based on when the form is submitted. Now I want to send an email every time I add a task inside the "Task Assignment" table. Hi all,I'm here again with my automation not working correctly. The last time I was having this problem, it was because the automation was set to trigger on "Create new record." Having learned from that, I created this automation using a checkbox field update as the trigger. I just cannot see what I'm doing wrong.I'll admit there's a problem with my trigger table - the Primary field is not being used properly. It was set up by my designer and I can't change it mid-season. Is that the problem? Is there any workaround?It's just creating blank records.

I'm getting a redundant record when using the For Each [multi-select] create record on a Form is created trigger. Simply delete or is there a better way?Fee Table, 'Add Fee' Form has a multi-select 'Fee Type' field (advance on signature, advance on delivery, advance on publication, royalty)Automation trigger 'When a form is created', with a  For Each [Fee Type] create record. Works beautifully apart from the initial record which has all of the multi-select options. I used Kuovonne's delete record script to delete this redundant record which is clean and fast.But feels like a workaround - like I missed a lesson at school. Any pointers?  

I have an automation triggered by a record matches condition which is linked to a formula field. The automation executes a Script step after which updates fields that in turn reset the trigger field to "0". However  once the trigger condition is TRUE i get multiple executions of the automation in my automation log. Why?I have async operations in my script...could that be the cause for airtable triggering the automation multiple times before the first automation run finished?

Hello therei have an automation that was working fine, now when i try to test it, i can't get past the trigger. the trigger works, but when i try to evaluate the conditions for the first action group (or any other action group) i get an error instead of an "yes, matches conditions" or "no, doesn't match conditions". strangely, this automation worked until now. is the error possible related to airtable general maintenance or issues and not to my automation at all. or do you guys know what kind of conditions throw such an error instead of getting evaluated. very strange 😞

Hi y’all. I’m breaking my head over the next automation.I want to copy records from one table (A) to another (B) or update existing records in table B (Input table=A ; Copy table=B)Input Table A is using the import excel possibility. This is raw data from another source. In order to import correctly i’ll have to empty table A every time before importing the new data. Not using this function is out of the option because certain data fields disappear when trying to copy paste. My solution so far:Automation 1: when imported i create linked field to table B and let the automation update this field with the filenumber (unique) from table A. Thus A&B are linked. after deleting the data in A, with the next import this wil link A back to B no matter it’s position. Automation 2: via lookup fields from table A in table B i copy then to the fields in table B. So when the data in Table A is deleted, this wil not delete the data in

Hey Team,Whilst i"m no stranger to formulas I am new to Airtable and would love some help with a project. First an automation where I can enter a number in one table and it will create that number in records in another table. To put it into context, I am a Dog Breeder, I have created a table for my Studs & Dams and also for their Litters (Projects). I have a column in the Projects referring to number of puppies and I want the automation to create Puppy Profiles for each puppy. So if they have four, I want four Puppy Profiles created. The automation I have used so far is "When a record matches condition" in which I have used 'if project name is not empty', and 'if DOB is not empty' then create Puppy Profile but i want to add script so it adds for example '4' records because their are 4 puppies.  Could anyone help me to write my first script? 🙏In my second screenshot I would ideally love for the Project name and DOB to populate as

Hi,I have a date column (contract end date), two months before this date there is an automation that sends an email to the tenant. The problem is that I'm afraid the automation will send an email at midnight. Is there a possibility that the email will be sent 60 days before the end of the contract at 9 am?Thanks.
