Hi,I'm looking at trying to create a simple invoice e-mail to be sent out as a result of an automation. I can basically get all the needed data in, but struggle with getting visually at least semi-appealing ;).I read the manual about markdown and that some html can be used. I also looked at the instructions regarding including images in the mail. However:with the limited html on offer, has anybody been able to build any form of layout (other than vertical listing 😉 )? Could CSS and <span> be used to, say, get a right side header column? Or should I try to build views of the relevant tables and insert the data as grids?if I include images (one top banner, one logo) as attachments from a table, they are not just plain images, but have some frames around them. They are also clickable links, which is not good. Based on the instructions I can't decipher if it's possible to have inline images *that are not linked*, but actually a part of the mail, and without being links?Thank

Hi, I'm new to automations on Airtable and am facing an unusual error:"Name is "foo", Invalid filter on Email (Invalid choice name or id: foo@bar.baz)"My "Find records" step has two conditions (OR), attempting to match on "Name" or "Email".Here you can see a successful test, when a match is found:It is also successful when no match is found, BUT when only "name" is used, and not both name and email, finding 0 results (expected behaviour).  BUT when adding the email condition bac, when there are no matches, it gives the error: This seems like a bug to me, can you advise? Hi all,When someone submits a form, I already know we have a relatively empty record that exists for that submission. I want an automation to do the following:Trigger: When a form is submittedAction 1: Find a record by matching phone numbers in the table to the form submission.Action 2: Update the record in the table with the new information submitted on the form (5+ fields, some of the fields are drop-downs and some are free text). In my test, it all seemed to go well, and then when we actually submitted something, it stopped working.

Hello,As the title implies I am looking for an automation to catch records created by a form and notify via email when there is a discontinuity from the last submission. For example if the miles entered on a particular vehicle in the last submission were 101 but the next submission starts at 101.3, an email is sent to notify of the discontinuity.Thanks!

I have two tables in my Airtable database: "Interfaces" and "Participants Backend V1". In the "Interfaces" table, I have columns like "int_Email", "int_Name", "int_Dance Course", and "int_Today's Date" (Ceckbox). The "Participants Backend V1" table contains columns like "bac_Email", "bac_01.01.2024", "bac_02.01.2024", etc... "bac_31.12.2024"I am looking for a script that does the following:Look through every row in the table "Interfaces"When a row in the "Interfaces" table has the "int_Today's Date" checkbox checked, the value in the "int_Tanzkurs" column of that row should be read.This read value should then be entered into the "Participants Backend V1" table in the row with the same email and the columne of today's date (for today it would be the column "bac_01.05.2024").If there is already a value in that cell, the new dance courses should be added with commas separated.Does anybody have a recommendation? Hi! Thanks for any help.Not sure what is causing this. I set up an automation to send an email when a field is updated to a certain value.The email is sent but the data from the specified fields are not included and there is an error. Here is the email:-----Subject: New Potential LCR:  - $ - #ERROR!This was just added as a planned LCR expenditure.Estimated Amount: $ Estimated Date: #ERROR!Vendor: Vehicle:-----So there should be data pulled from the fields for each of items. I also don't know why there is an error.The data in the actual table records is there and seems OK. Here is what it looks like:So the data exists, but it's not included, and the estimated date is generating an error. Otherwise the email is being sent.Thanks for any help! 

Hi all!I've created an automated email and am trying to include our company logo as a footer.The code I've used in the input is: <img width="200" height="50" src="https://www.the-page.co.uk/psoostoo/2022/05/The-Page-LOGO-2048x486.png">In the preview, this works perfectly (see image), but when I ran a test to my own email address, the image didn't render and I just saw a grey box (see other image).Any idea on what I'm doing wrong or what the issue may be?Thanks!

Hi Community,I am trying to create an automation to upload videos stored as an Airtable attachment directly to TikTok using make.com automation.I am running into a problem because TikTok is asking me to verify my URL prefix to prove that the source URL of the video is in fact a source owned by me. To do so, I need to upload a text doc to my server and then click verify on TikTok developer side. I have already created my app in tiktok developer, accessed the Client Key and Secret for API connection and linked it to my Make.com automations.My question is, what is the correct prefix URL that I should use given that there are multiple parameters in the download URL that Airtable provide? The document record contains a multiselect field of all the users who need to perform this. I'm trying to create another multiselect user field of all the users who still need to complete it.What I have so far: an automation duplicates the users who "need to perform this" over to the "users who still need to do this" field.Next, when a review is entered in a linked table, a complex SUBSTITUTE formula removes that reviewer's name from the list of remaining reviewers. An automation then copies that formula result onto the "still needed" field in the Documents table. I hope I put this question in the correct area.I am developing a base to use for a contracting business, and I have a column for Distance Driven to job (to calculate fuel used in a different column)when I create the job for the client, it auto inputs the job address into a column, is there a way to have it auto calculate the distance to drive (by inputting my business address as always being the starting address, and the job address being the ending address?)Currently when I am creating the job for the client in the base, I have to open Google maps in a separate page, and input my business address and job address by hand, and manually transfer the number of miles into the base.There has to be a better way, right?

Hi, I recently inherited the database for a club and I am trying to make the interface easier to use by creating an Airtable/Softr design instead of the manual version that existed previously.Basically I have one table with member details that includes a field for number of events attended. I then have another table for events with a field called Attendees which lists all the Attendees of that event by pulling the names from the Member table. So, what I want to do is automatically increase the number of events attended field in the Members table by one if the member appears in the Attendees field in the Events table - how can I do this?Possibly slightly complicating the issue is that since I have inherited this and am not starting from scratch, numbers of events attended figures already exist, so I am not starting from zero but from different numbers for each member.Thanks in advance for all help!! 

Airtable's record lookup feature used to have a search field in this interface menu where you could type, and it would autosuggest relevant records from your database. We used this feature extensively throughout our project.Recently, this interface changed so that the field that allows you to type to find autosuggested records is no longer present.

Hey guys,I spent the day trying to get my head around a moving average function. In my case I want to calculate the 7 day average of my Google Ads CPL (cost per lead) metric. I have daily data from Google Ads in my base along with all important metrics like ad spend, clicks, impressions and so on. I also track the amount of leads. For the day to day calculation a formula does quite well but when it comes to calculate things "across" rows Airtable is quite limited.My approach is to use an automation that runs a script every time I update either the amount in ad spend or leads. This way I kind of "fake" a formula field. I have already successfully created an automation to send an email triggered by a record's field changing.Now I am trying to create another automation to send a weekly email. In the automation's configuration section, I am filling in the To field. I click on the + sign, and the only options I see, for inserting a value from a field are "Actual trigger time", "Expected trigger time", "Next trigger time". This looks like a bug. Instead of giving me an option to select email recipients from a table, I am being asked about trigger times.Anyone else seeing this? Is this a bug or am I just misunderstanding how to configure a "scheduled time" automation? How are the email recipients of such an email normally selected?

HiI have a simple script I run each night, which simply attempts to tick a box in about 100 records, which then drives an automation to fire off some reports on activity that day (1 per user). Unfortunately it never completes, it tells me it has failed. It works for many records, but not all. I have similar scripts for other reports. I'm using a script because it fires at a specific time. Any ideas how I can improve this please so that it will process all before timing out. Hey, I am having trouble with automating it where when a new 'special item' is created it will deactivate the previous 'special item' in the list and have the new one be active, I keep having errors with the update record.The attached file shows my screen

I've read through most of the posts having to do with this and still can't find an answer that works.  Most ask why this would need to be done.  We are currently using Airtable as a mass outreach table for individuals we contract work with.  Occasionally, they retire, die, or are no longer to be put in rotation.  We have the checkmark to indicate they need to be removed from rotation but we also have to update our operations software with these notes and new changes and want a record to track those updates but not available to reach out to.  We already use filters and views and statuses for the dozens of other items we care about and work with.  We might need to put them back in rotation too so I would rather not delete 100% and just move to other table.  I don't know why this seems so hard to do as it seems like a very important function that a lot of people could use the option of.  Would appreciate any advice!
