Hello,I have an automation that triggers on a schedule to send program information out to various recipients.  The configuration for the email is to send from the respective program manager's email address and reply to that same email address.  These are branded Gmail accounts and the configuration can be seen in the screenshot.I can tell that the configuration is correct in preview mode.  However, when the automation runs, the emails are sent from my email account, rather than the program managers'. Is there a way to fix this in Airtable? Gmail?

Ok... will try my best to explain and hopefully someone will get what I'm trying to do. I have a table where each record includes a long text description of an offer in one column and another column that links to a table of manufacturers. I would like to use automation to search the long text description for the name of a manufacturer from the manufacturer table, and then add the link to that manufacturer in the next column.Is it possible within AirTable? I also have a Make/Integromat pro account so can use that if necessary.  

Hello,I'm trying to run a script in an airtable form. The idea is to retrieve the GPS location of the person filling in the form by using their browser. Obviously, using the paid extension from Miniextensions is not a solution for me. Do you have any ideas? Have a nice day!

I have a kanban view with 5 columns, day 1 through day 5, for following up with leads. I want to fire off a text message using salesmsg through zapier each time the lead is dragged into the next day column. The issue I'm having is in zapier, it seems that every time I update the lead, regardless of the field, the sms is triggering, sending the message multiple times whereas I just need it to send once.Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi - I'm looking for help with understanding airtable's automation logic.In my table, I have a formula that takes a few fields and combines them to make a URL. One of those fields (call it "field X") is initially blank until a webhook later updates it. Additionally, I have an automation set up to trigger once field X is no longer blank (i.e. the webhook updated field X). This automation sends out an email with the URL in it, assuming that the URL was updated to include field XQuestion is, does this create a possible race condition where the email automation could be fired off before the URL formula has time to update? I saw an instance where the email URL was incorrectly updated with field X so I'm trying to troubleshoot here. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi,I created an Airtable automation to pull several fields from my airtable form submission to a separate airtable database (i.e., Creating a new record).However, I am facing issues when pulling the file attachment field - error shows "invalid string".I've tried changing the type of display but nothing seems to work for pdf files (note: it works fine if the file submitted is a png/image file).Any assistance is greatly appreciated! 

Currently I work with a non-profit church team using a spreadsheet to schedule channels of communication for the year. They would like to move to another system like Airtable, but they like the fact they can visualize the empty channels on a spreadsheet so they know what channels are open they can fill. The only way I assume we can do this in Airtable is if we pre-generate a record for every channel and day of the year using automations, but that would be a LOT of records. Any advice if this is the right way to go? Hello everybody,I have created an automation that will send out an email from a Gmail account. However, the recipient for each email varies depending on the Project. All projects have a field that is linked to another record that contains all the information for the email recipients.My issue is when I try to fill the Recipient field in the automation, the field that represents the linked record doesn't add the email but instead the name of the recipient. I have tried multiple times but can't seem to figure out how to solve this issue. Any kind of help is greatly appreciated!

HelloI was hoping for some advice on how to best approach this use-case we have. Some background:Our marketing team manages all of their accounts through Airtable. We have a primary table called "All Locations" which is our "source of truth" for location-specific data about the retail showrooms we manage. Up until now keeping it up-to-date has been a challenge as employees don't necessarily stay on top of updating the data when changes to our locations occurs.The true "source of truth" is a locations table in our Datamart that comes from our organization's CRM system. We want to use the core organizational source of truth to update the marketing team's locations table in Airtable.We currently have successfully deployed Zapier and have a constantly updating synchronized table with all the location data in Airtable, but we can't work off of that table as it needs to remain untouched for the sync to work as well as the fact all of the history is attached to the records in the Airtable "Al

I want to have my status column auto fill a date in the Actual RFP Date when the status is set to RFP. But then there are more status changes that will happen after that, and I don't want the Actual RFP Date to disappear once the status is change to the next status in the process so we can track that date easily. Right now I have it so when status is changed to RFP it fills in the Actual RFP Date, but then with Engineering changes the status to Engineering Complete, that date goes away. However, I also want it to update the Actual RFP date if you ever go back and change the status to Field Dim. We typically do that when someone thinks they have everything they need, but then they realize they are missing information. So we would set the status back to Field Dim and then once the field dim is complete we would again change the status to RFP and would need the Actual RFP date to show the most recent RFP status change date. 

I have 4 columns that affect each other for our woodworking shop tracking: Status, Actual RFP Date, Required RFP Date, and Manufacturing complete date. Manufacturing complete date is just a date that is entered as an ideal completion date. Manufacturing Complete date then fills out the Required RFP date to be 8 weeks prior to Manufacturing Complete. Then the RFP date is the date at which the Status is is actually set to RFP. I want to make it so that the Manufacturing Complete date will automatically change to be 8 weeks after the Actual RFP date. How can I do this? Seems like the Manufacturing Complete date column needs to be both a date and a formula, but I know there must be a work around for this. As you can see in the screenshot, 9/15 Actual RFP Date is less than 8 weeks from Manufacturing Complete date, so I want it to automatically change that 10/4 date to be 11/10. 

Hello (second attempt to get an answer about this)I am not able to see the form data immediately appear in the table once a form is submitted. I am our AT admin and have never experienced this before. Instead, what happens is the form data appears the next day, or several hours later. Obviously this impacts our workflow.Insights/Troubleshooting-- This is a native form, made with AT-- I have changed no settings and no one else has either.-- I can confirm that the form I am using points to the appropriate base.-- I have cleared the computers cache and also tried from a different machine.-- I have not changed any settings that would force the form data to appear in the base on a schedule, but that is what it feels like it is doing... suddenly!?IssueForm data is not populating into the appropriate base until several hours later. This is a big problem for our workflow. 

There's a table named Customers. This table has details of the customers. In this table, there’s a first column that has Record ID (reference field) and each customer has a unique Record ID.There’s a column called Paid in this table which has details about the payment status. Here, I mark manually when someone pays and it mentions “ 5 Mentors (89€)” . There’s another table named Mentors which has a list of mentors and their details in different columns. The first column is the Record ID which is unique to every mentor. When, I change the status of Paid column in customers with 5 Mentors (89€) in the customers table, Airtable allots 5 random mentors to that specific customer. These 5 mentors are randomly assigned from the list available in the Mentors table. As mentioned above. Because every mentor has a unique ID and every customer has a unique ID, airtable knows which mentor has been assigned to which customer .There’s another table named Matchings. Hello guys,I really appreciate all the help that I can get.I have tried looking for anything that could solve my issue but I have not succeeded.My issue is this:I have two Amazon S3 buckets that generate a CSV -file to my B2B customers.This data comes from my Airtable (in my Airtable base I have two tables, one for each B2B customer). These tables include 108 records and 115 records.However, only 100 records are showing in my CSV -file located in Amazon S3.I have tried all the functions possible (I use the Lambda function in Amazon, with a layer from python).Furthermore, I have used the pagination logic etc. but nothing seems to help.If someone knows what is causing this and needs more information, I am here to provide you with everything.Functions, etc.Thank you in advance!

I have a simple automation the is producing an error "The Record Does Not Exist." Yet, it shows the correct Record ID from the previous step.

I would like to send an email to my team whenever an event in the airtable calendar/grid has a change made within 7 days before the event date listed in the grid/calendar.  We used the system to put all our event notes.  Example, if I change the guest count or menu option field last minute, could that trigger an automatic email to the designated email so my staff is notified of the change?  I don't need all changes to be emailed because normally they review the notes 7 days prior to an event. 

Hello, I currently have a table which calculates the payment to be made to a person according to the number of hours and their category. Sometimes the same person may have several pending payments.When this happens, is it possible to create a new field with the added information with automation?The "Folio" field would be used if this is when the new record should be generated. That is, if you have a payment of 100, and another of 200, the automation should detect that you have the same folio and generate a new field where the payment is 300. In short, I need the values ​​that it shows me when I group them to be generated in a new record. 

Hi!I would like to order the records, find by 'find records" in automations, based on the date field. Now, al the records are views complete random... Does anybody has any idea? 

In the last few weeks, we have been experiencing a bug when scheduling posts to Hootsuite. It will schedule to post, however, it duplicated the attached image. We have reset our automation to make sure we didn't have something duplicated as well as recommended our accounts. It is still creating duplicate images in the post. This adds an extra step as we then have to go into each scheduled post and edit them on Hootsuite. Does anyone have a solution?    

I was able to automatically update a record with a “need to start” status when created, but I’d also like it to automatically put today’s date in as well. I’m just not sure what I should be typing in the date field. I tried typing Today, but that didn’t work. I’m going to admit to being a total novice here so please feel free to spell it out to me like I’m five.

Hello, Quick question. I have a field that calculates no. of days before start of a workshop. This is the formula I'm using- DATETIME_DIFF({Start Date/Time}, NOW(),'days'). I now want to create a field that calculates number of days 'after' a workshop. I want to use this for an automation. So for eg: if days after training completion =7, send email. What formula can I use here? I tried using a dateadd formula but I'm getting it wrong. Thank you 🙂

I have an automation that converts input data into MD5 using custom script and the script’s output along with a field from the table is appended to the Google Sheet. All steps work when testing. But when running all at once using ‘rerun’ or through the form (the trigger is when “When a record is created”), all steps work except appending into Google Sheet, with the error "Row Data" could not be converted to a string.. Any help is much appreciated.

Hi everyone,I have what I thought is a pretty straightforward scenario I'm trying to implement, but I can't for the life of me how to implement in practice. We have a Web Team and a Marketing Operations team. Each team has its own base within the same workspace. The people in the wider marketing team submit requests to the Web Team to add resources to the website through a form in the Web Team's base. Once the Web Team has done all they needed to do, the Marketing Operations team needs to somehow get a hold of the record and do their bits and then update the record with some additional information. The views for each team are slightly different and at the moment I have a synced table in each of their bases, but they're not connected. I can't seem to create an automation from a synced table, and the automation in one table can't create or update records in the synced table either. So I'm a bit stumped. Any idea how I could make this work for both teams? Thanks a lot for y
