Hi Airtable community :wave: I am looking to create a field that updates based on the entry history of another a field. For example, imagine I had two fields “A” and “B”, and “A” is a multiple select field and “B” is the field that I would like to create. It would function like this: Field A contains multiple select value “X” and if I change this to “Y” then I would like Field B to show “X”. If I then change Field A from multiple select value “Y” to “Z”, I would then like Field B to show “Y”. To provide some more context, I’m looking to solve this so that I can send a weekly update email that shows how a field changed during the period. The other day a friend of mine watched as I imported 7,000 support tickets from Jira into Airtable and then auto-tagged them in less than a minute. He was amazed; I was yawning. I suppose it’s a pretty cool thing, but we often get good at something(s) and forget about how much time they save and possibly how much more useful the data becomes when we attend to the seemingly little things like consistent keyword tagging through automation. I use my Airdrop framework to do this - it’s a simple script management system that allows me to use ordinary javascript functions in Google Apps Script (or in Airtable) to perform acrobatics on Airtable data and all without setting up a new API app every time I need a new API process. Our base has already been built out pretty extensively, we just need a little extra help with some things that are beyond my expertise. Hi! Kindly see the above video, it explains everything briefly what i need. I’m thinking of starting a business but I want to try and see if I can get the processes automated before even taking things forward. What I need is skeletal code to make the whole process work, and then from there I will tweak it and add in the various data fields, folders etc to make it a whole working code (I used to be a programmer, so I know there are so many things I don’t know and would prefer to have someone as expert as yourself to come up with the skeletal code first). I love airtable but just do not have the time to learn all its features. We primarily use a base for a contact management sheet for the people we interview. I sort of created this. But I will need help with a content calendar, need to make lists of my vendors and production crew we use. I am actively seeking help in other areas of my business specifically related to combat sports, so I need a base that helps me organize the applicants. Hi, guys! I’m looking for someone to integrate a Zotero library to an Airtable base. Zotero is an app for organizing academic references. It provides a Web API (but no webhook), with detailed documentation. I’d like to sync my Zotero library with my Airtable base, so every time an item is added to my library, that same item is added to my Airtable base. Similarly, every time an item is deleted, the corresponding item will be deleted from my Airtabase base (although this feature is not so as important as the first one). I’m looking for someone who could write a script for doing that.

There’s a ton of excellent tools for turning data in Airtable into websites. But how about the reverse - scraping data from websites into Airtable? After some good community feedback I’ve launched a direct Airtable integration on Simplescraper to help you do that. Choose a website to scrape, enter the details of the base and table where you want the data to appear, click run, and your data instantly appears in Airtable. Here’s a tutorial that scrapes jobs listings directly from Indeed into a base and it should work similarly on almost every website. I know
