Hi All! Was directed here from another thread, as I am not a JS coder, but would love to have this code requested below to learn from and continue to work on. I am looking to run multiple search scripts in three fields where users will enter a long format answer explaining their project needs. These are populating in a request table that I connected to a form interface. I have second Airtable that lists out my talent at my agency and have created a ‘Keywords’ column that lists out all the different expertise fields and past industries. My goal is to search through the long format answers client input and connect the keywords to the best match talent in my pool. Any one available to take on this project? I have budget and am willing to work with someone to set up this script. My goal is to have this script in the next week to continue automating other parts via Zapier, which I do have experience using.
I want to get only fields in my tables through the rest API. I have tried using https://api.airtable.com/v0/meta/bases/BaseId/tables api given in the https://airtable.com/api/meta documentation but it is giving me NOT_FOUND in response. Is there a way we can get only fields for the token provided through REST API?
I’m really proud to have worked on this and I hope that it brings some of you the joy it has brought me. Our business has used Airtable to make a database for our direct to consumer manufacturing business. The good news is that our business has grown, the bad is that we are constantly fighting with the 50K record limit. What we are looking for is connecting our Airtable database to something that can handle substantially more records. Basically using Airtable as a “front end” to the larger database. Currently, most of our records are tied up in the bill of materials (BOMs). Most of the BOMs are not currently active (we aren’t currently building that product), however, we need that BOM data to accurately inform our part purchasing. We currently have a workaround using Airtable’s table syncing but that has only bought us some time and is not the long term solution. At the end of the day what we are looking for is a way to use and store far more data than Airtable can handle while keeping Airtable as the place where our employees interact with that data.
Hey Airtable community, Today we officially launched our new Chart blocks on Softr. The new chart blocks work seamlessly with Airtable, allowing you to turn a table of records into stunning, interactive charts which can be created in a matter of minutes. To provide you with a quick example of what can be done with the new Chart Blocks check out this example of a building in public page to share your metrics. This template is now available to use today. We are continuing to iterate the new chart functionality and will be releasing a number of further improvements in the coming days. You can learn more about Charts in today’s update found here. We can’t wait to see what the Airtable community will use this new functionality for.
(Sept 2021) Hi, all! I’m looking for a consultant to help build out the text-based communications and ordering capabilities for a food pantry that serves 40,000 people a year with mobile and partner-based services across New York. We’ve piloted with my (very basic) Airtable and Twilio skills, and now we need to step it up! I have a light tech background, but I’ve managed IT and product development teams for many years and bring great respect for solid technical skills. If you’re flexible, reasonably fast, a good communicator, and interested in helping lots of low-income and older New Yorkers get connected to the healthy, delicious food they need, join us!

Hello, I just made my first Script app writing my own custom code :tada: and wanted to share  Context: I am working with a base that has gone through several iterations of development and am trying to resolve some contradictory data sets. Specifically, for a directory of people who get assigned a “level.” There are five different fields to compare and resolve so as to make a single source of truth for each person. My fiirst step is to identify where there are mismatches across the five fields (a rollup, two lookups, and two single-select fields). My first thought was to use a nested IF() ƒormula, but I found it difficult to construct the matching logic for the fields values and for when any them are without values (i.e. blank). My next thought was to use an array formula to make an ARRAYUNIQUE() out of an ARRAYCOMPACT() values (i.e. remove the blank values, then look for unique values). To my surprise, the Array functions are only applicable in Rollups or when the field
Hi, sometimes button format is not convenient, when you have to assign scripts, related to table, not records. i think that buttons needs at least be possible to show/hide in different records. And change label. And color. And script assig… okay, that could be done by “Switch” in single script :grinning: Well, I’m not with a complain or proposition, just want to share example of using Singleselect for UI. Triggered by automation, returns to default state “CHOOSE ACTION” (other records default is ‘inactive’)

Would like my client to be able to change one or 2 columns in the sharable view of airtable without making them a collaborator. Mini extension is too basic. I have embedded the airtable on a members page of my wix website. I would like for my client to be able to write questions or feedback about information viewed from the airtable
Hello everyone, I am running a cleaning service, and I want people in the community to request things to be cleaned. I use QR codes to list all active jobs as a read me file for the office community. Hi! We are using Airtable more and more, but we have 2 projects that need someone who knows how to do a lot more with what Airtable offers. Project #1 - Level of Effort - Updating, Approving, and Sharing with multiple people. Currently we use an Excel Form (one form per person) that contains various types of information — employee name, employee supervisor, employee salary, reporting time period (quarterly or every 6 months), budget #s, budget descriptions, and the percentage allocated per month to each budget #. Every month must total 100%. And budgets also have start and end dates. Once this information is entered, it needs to be sent to the employee, the supervisor, the finance analyst, and sometimes a unit head. The supervisor needs to approve, then the analyst, then a unit head if applicable. If changes are made, the review process must start all over. Would love to run reports/views that identify those with any gaps (less than 100%) and when those gaps will occur. Would also like

I am arranging 10 separate small group meetings for our CEO. I’m using Airtable to set up the sessions and send people to a form that allows them to select one of the meetings to attend. The meeting attendance is capped at 15. That part works okay. The problem I’m running into is how to send an email acknowledgement correctly confirming their date and time, and an Outlook invitation with the .ics info that will correctly drop it into their calendar. I’m trying to use Integromat to add the email portion and the calendar function but none of the date / time info is correctly rendering, no matter what I do. Need to get this out the door by tomorrow and I’m at a bit of a loss. Anyone have any expertise in this area who would be able to help me resolve this?
