I just wanted to show (perhaps showoff :winking_face: ) one of our latest projects with Airtable. Using multiple Airtable tables our marketing client manages their projects, clients and incoming reports. They require their contractors to upload reports which we are using an AT form (soon to be custom form as client needs extra requirements) to input the data. Each of the customers are using a generated token based on the AT record ID which is part of their link to access the site ie. mysite.com/wo55eiruWERsdhf234 as security isn’t a primary objective they just don’t want “browsers” being able to have public access. These links can be sent out using the Airtable email block, these links are easily regenerated in AT and deactivated using a checkbox as well. Each client gets their unique link

I have 3 Tables in a base named “Bhakta Class Tracker”. Where I will prepare the class schedule for these devotees either monthly or quarterly. DevoteeList Topics Schedule It is not like outside regular colleges or universities. We are from Hare Krishna Temple. So it is a NGO and devotees keep joining at any time of the calendar. Not like certain period of time only they have to join. So I can’t fix the schedule for the entire year. It will change dynamically. So this schedule will be a mixer of new and old devotees. So for a particular day if I chose one topic and the speaker then I want to know the devotees who are idle. That I am able to achieve through integromat tool. But after finding out the devotees who are idle, I want to find out the topic which is common to all these devoees and that topic no one has attended. Hi there - I’m interested in hiring a developer to help me implement a custom airtable function for our employee training event calendar on Airtable. We use one airtable registration form for all of our events and ask the registrant to select the specific training they are interested in and then submit the form. What I’d like to have happen then is the user (who filled out the form) is immediately sent an email with a outlook calendar invite file attached to it with the specific details (title, location, description, etc.) of the event they selected on the form. Still a novice to AirTable so forgive my ignorance. I need to accomplish two things: Create a Gantt chart with multiple blocks per person so I can track when they are busy and when they are not. Right now I have created a task list and assigned multiple tasks to my team. But when I make a gantt chart (based on start and end dates of the tasks), it only shows them occupied for the first task. Example: John is assigned 2 tasks, one starting in July ending in September, another starting in October. But only the July task shows up on the gantt. What is the appropriate time function to use so that I can track utilization by time instead of just using a simple function that compares number of tasks assigned vs capacity. I want each individual working on one task at a time, but I am assigning them tasks that have timelines that do not overlap.

Develop a simple Web app with which would add a new inventory item. It would then save the item to Airtable, as well as to Shopify. Eliminate the dependency on Zapier, and it gives you more control over the entry of new items. For example, specify what fields are required and enforce any additional business rules that you might have in mind. Additionally, the Web app could be extended to support updating inventory items as well. So if you were to change an item in some way, you’d do it through the Web app, and those changes would be applied to the corresponding records in both Airtable and Shopify. Hey all, Looking for an Airtable and Zapier automation expert to discuss feasibility and implement the following for a manufacturing environment building large electrical and controls skids. We have a few disparate excel sheets built out and goals in mind, but feel the need to move to a database system to truly get what we’re after: Tracking the reception of Purchase Orders and generating automatic emails and automatic table updates as material quantities are changed by the client and our team (if feasible, from changes in a sharepoint Excel or some such) Track the deadline start and end dates on a project based on manloading, bottlenecks created by delivery of materials from (4) different vendors. Hi there, I am new to Airtable and trying to work out ways it can help my business. The first area I am tackling is how I process my invoices. Can anyone tell me if I can share a base with another Airtable user who populates my base with data and pdfs supplied. It would be basic data entry but rather than get someone in my office to do this, I thought that using airtable woud mean it can be done remotely. Hi there, I need some help from a developer to use the Airtable API to upload a spreadsheet of entries but to simultaneously attach a corresponding JPEG file for each record. I work in picture post production, and the purpose of this is to provide shot information for every shot in an edit. The text data is easy to export, but I need to add a thumbnail of each shot / event as a visual reference. At the moment this is incredibly manual, when there can be hundreds of images to drag and drop onto each record. The jpeg could be named the same as one of the columns of data (e.g. 001.jpeg). I was recently lamenting about the lack of a scripting model in Airtable in this discussion concerning actionable buttons and Jonathan Bowen called my attention to a pretty clever way to utilize multiple Zapier components to call out via URLs in fields and update the record (or records) in the table. I wasn’t familiar with this approach and it opened my eyes to a number of possibilities for serverless integration processes. It reminded me of a similar approach that I am intimately familiar with that stems from my deep desire to script processes inside Airtable, even going so far as to create a rudimentary web service that would allow me to easily create script steps in long text fields and then execute those steps against fields via the API using a little thing I call Airdrop which I use perva

Hi there, I think I’ve got as far as I can in trying to automate many processes within our company. We have many processes I believe Airtable can help with especially the relationship between ingredients, allergens, companies we cater for, employees in those companies and their allergens, etc, etc. We may also need to build some fairly complex forms to build menus from recipes whilst referencing data from other tables. I appreciate this sounds like nonsense, hence why we’re looking for someone London-based to come and chat through everything, test and iterate.
