We are new to Airtable (switching from Smartsheets) and are building our bases/tables to help us manage a busy Special Events production office at a university. We need help with a Zapier integration to ping/send reminder notifications to collaborators before task deadlines. We all use Outlook as our default email service.

Hi, I want to post a job that I’m looking for someone we can create us a solution that we can have a random 4 numeric digits, that we want to have a random unique combination of four digits, the “0” ( or “00”, “000”) can not be in the beginning, in practical, when I create the records on the column, for example “Book” is the first column (primary key in airtable), the records will be “Book 1”, “Book 2”, Book 3"….and I want whenever I create a new records, for instance “Book 4”, there would be generating the random unique combination of four digits automatically on column “ID”, please see the image I’ve attached. I need some excellent folks to help. Let’s try to make this happen.

Hello, Looking for a solution related to database share across multiple ‘airtable’ users. We have a team of 3 people working with promotions and giveaways. At this moment they have 2x personal tabs in their own board: 1st-Leads (include products, prices, offers…) 2nd-Contacts (contact details) | ‘Contacts’ tab is a lookup for leads tab. Issue: Each employee is registering new contacts to their own ‘contacts’ tab to their own board. So if ‘employee 1’ registered customer ‘James’ to his ‘contacts’ board employee 2 and 3 won’t see ‘James’ as company’s client and will give him our deal even he already had one with the previous employee. If ‘James’ will contact employee 2 or 3, he won’t see be recognised as our customer. This is a big issue as we do only one giveaway per customer but some of them contact us multiple times. In this case, the person will receive multiple gifts as others can’t see the record. Need it asap, happy to pay for this solution. If all good, will offer more work strai

Looking for some help “fixing” my project management base. I have so many bases and would like to link different bases to the main dashboard but also need to keep these hidden from other employees (accounting tab etc). Scheduling would be nice - since we use a different app for that Some automation would be great - but it is not in our budget for complicated zaps at this time. I feel like my base is so overwhelming and it takes a lot of effort on the part of another employee to update and that is the reason he doesn’t - so I spend more of my time looking for information in emails. Hi, We have an order form link with a database of products, we would like to have the qty affect the product pricing. 1 - 59 = $0.35/each 60 - 199 = $0.30/each 200 - 999 = $0.25/each 1000 - 2999 = $0.22/each We have around 300 products into our database, around 100 needs to be quantity-based pricing. I am interested in generating systems that would allow me to detect and flag duplicate/redundant content in as close to an automated manner as possible. Hi! I am looking for someone who can help me to make an integration where I can get ad performance data (cost per purchase, link clicks or all other metrics) and pass it to Airtable? Example: In Facebook, I have an ad with ID 1234 I want to pass metrics like link clicks & cost per purchase to Airtable to the particular row? Hi Everybody, I’m new to this community and Airtable. So far, I’m loving the product. Just figuring out how to do things in Airtable. I’m not a computer programmer, but I’ve managed to hack together some fairly complex databases using VBA in MS Access over the years. Trying to get our company’s processes automated and cloud based after getting multiple software companies to unsuccessfully bid to make us custom software (unacceptable in both cost and development time). First challenge, I wanted to make an automatic invoice generator. Pretty simple idea right? Just about every company has some sort of auto-invoice with basic info such as customer, PO#, and an itemized bill of materials. Since I’m used to Access, I thought it would be as simple as making a form and subform, then spit it out in a custom report. Well after twiddling with Airtable and combing the Airtable community posts for a couple weeks, I realized that it wasn’t going to be as straightforward as I naively thought. There

I am looking at standardizing our marketing team on Airtable for project management and tracking. We have two main use-cases and could use clarity on how to set them up/best practices. Using airtable as a lightweight replacement for Jira/ticket system. Using airtable as a planning tool. Allowing us to build a list of items we are planning on doing and then updating the items as they progress. Also being able to view those items on a calendar. We want the use-case to be as lightweight as possible, but also be a replacement for all our various calendars and planning spreadsheets. Ideally we can take advantage of the relational aspect of the tool and keep data normalized (we don’t want to keep adding tabs, we rather add views to existing tabs) Keep like data all in one place so we can have a unified activity calendar. Looking for someone to help us implement this.

I need someone who is experienced in all three applications. I’ve spent many weeks/days/hours building out my Airtable that utilizes Jotform (but I’m not married to it if another form can do better) and Zapier for some (what I consider) basic automations. There seems to be some glitches: having Zapier do an action doesn’t produce the same results as doing it by hand. Ex) using a Zap to paste an email into a field A which comes from an existing record (B) in another table, where B is a “linked” field in Airtable. This should compile all of the records with field A into field B. When doing by hand, field A and B are linked. When using Zapier, they are not linked and AT produces a new record instead of compiling everything linked into the existing record. Furthermore, I cannot understand how I can pull data from AT to pre-populate a form. I want to send that form out to recipients, but because I want a record of each time I send the form to the same recipient, I don’t want the form to sim

New to Airtable. Been trying unsuccessfully to get started. There are many variables. Solitary Angler is a fly fishing guide service - also a private fly fishing club. We have about 15 fishing guides, about 20 pieces of trout stream (called “water” here), about 80 members, and about 3,000 clients per year. We are in 3 different states - different taxes… The idea is to book water exclusively - one stretch of water, one client, one guide, on any single date, with no double-booking. The main end goal is a reservations calendar, showing available guides, available water, as well as reserved water. There should be a form for creating reservations - perhaps 2 forms - one for the booking person and a request form for potential clients to request availability. It would be nice if the system could produce an invoice for clients. I’m pretty sure AirTable can do all this. Can it? Can you help us?

I’m trying to put together a time tracking system. Primarily need help with rollup summary tables. Probably one time situation, although there could be follow on work at some future point.
