The fields are ideally going to link from a central Client information to subsequent sheets where I only need to pull over very few fields. Hi all, I’m looking to have an attendee check-in system made. I began playing with things and just hit a huge brick wall on everything, so I’m interested in help. Details: We run a convention. Attendees pre-register using Eventbrite. They can also pre-purchase merchandise as an add-on to their tickets. We export the Attendee List from Eventbrite as a CSV file. Due to how Eventbrite works, we also export a completely separate CSV file for merchandise. The Attendee List is pretty straightforward and self-explanatory. The Merchandise List lists every item as a separate entry with a quantity. (So for example, if Jane Doe bought 1 Large Shirt, 2 Medium Shirts, and a Lanyard, there would be 3 row entries for Jane Doe with identical order numbers, one row listing Large Shirt with a Quantity of 1, one row listing Medium Shirt with a Quantity of 2, and one row listing Lanyard with a Quantity of 1. I am an attorney, and I have started an Airtable Base to track my clients, cases, hearings, and tasks. I have about 2000 open cases at any one time, and about 10 employees that need to be assigned tasks, so the Base, once complete, will be fairly large. Here are a few things I would like to be able to do with Airtable: Create “If this, then that” Logic for various functions in Airtable. Here are a few examples of things I would like to be able to do: If the “type of case” is a “credit card lawsuit,” then the user gets a certain set of fields to fill in. If the “type of case” is a “divorce,” then the user gets a different set of fields to fill in. If the “hearing result” (what happened at the hearing) is “reset for a later date,” then a certain set of tasks is generated. Very new to airtable so not sure if it is possible, but i was wondering if airtable could be used for consolidating uniform orders. eg we list available items in the uniform into a table eg polo shirt, jacket, business shirt etc and pictures and the available sizes. Then individual users can select the size and qty for each item type and airtable will consolidate the order. Am not sure on creating logins for dozens of different people in an organisation and restricting what they can see. i thought i saw something somewhere about sending an email from airtable and it allows them to just enter data in 1 line but i cant find it now in the overview of features (maybe i’m getting mixed up with another system). I’d be happy to pay for someone to set this up or show me a base template that does a a similar function. Al

I’m looking for someone with in depth knowledge of Airtable that can help me redesign my main shared spreadsheet for my business. I run a transport business with over 50 lorries out daily, currently we’re split over multiple spreadsheets & asana but I’d like to simplify our workflow by bringing the administration department & sales into our main global programme. I’ve got as far as my knowledge of excel lets me and would like to see if Airtable could provide a solution. This may be obvious to many, but it eluded me until today… It is a HELL OF A LOT easier to code (and debug) formulas in Textedit (or the text editor of your choice), inserting returns between segments (B). When you paste your code into Airtable, it’ll smartly remove those returns and create the code block we’re used to seeing (A). Hi I have a base that records appointments we obtain for our clients. It pulls linked data and sends out zapier emails and records calendar events plus sets up followup draft emails - and it works fairly well. I’d like to improve the functionality of the forms and organize the relational tables a bit better. Basically, clean it up and iron out a system that’s bug-free and easy to maintain. Hi, I’m a newish member of a six-person communication and marketing team, and we are interested in using Airtable for project management. I have used Airtable in the past and am fairly comfortable with it—the rest of my team does not have experience with it—but we are hoping to reduce the burden on any one staff person by working with an experienced outside consultant to get a comprehensive workspace set up. If we go this route, we’d first want to talk first about our needs and project goals (we’re based in Ann Arbor if there’s anyone local to us here), and get some help on the conceptual end before moving forward. Right now most of our stuff is housed in a bunch of different, unwieldy Google docs (and some sheets), and that works for just about no one. I’m like to score someone’s responses to a form, but don’t know where I’d start. For example, I have a row with three choices: rock, pop, and jazz. Depending on the choice you make on the form it then gives you a score. Say I choose rock and it gives me a score: ‘cool’. I’d then like to build on that with other choices. So the form might ask if I prefer CDs or records. I choose records, and it gives me an updated score linked to my original choice. I’m now ‘very cool’. Does that make sense? And is it possible?

I think this is a medium-easy task. I need three-four tables, that are interconnected for coordinating an event. The time table is short - next week or so. The budget is shorter - we are an all volunteer new organization. No data to worry about - just need to get the framework set up to put it into. I can make the various fields, but where I need help is with the linking. The main list is a list of exhibitors. Some are also on Tab 2 as speakers. Simple, right? Where I need help is in making it so if someone is added as a Speaker, they automatically get added to the Exhibitor list. Then I need to have a 3rd Tab - Sponsors, who also automatically get added to the Exhibitor list. There is a 4th Tab - one for the company. It would track the role and year, based on the above entered data. I have built out a base that our marketing & communications team hopes to use for project management, editorial calendars, and eventually some analysis and reporting. I have the general outline in place, and have thought through many of the details (and the team has been using a version of it for a while now), but I need someone to carry the work through and make it better. We are a church diocese (a geographical grouping of churches) overseeing 45 church congregations and about 120 individual ordained clergy personnel and a similar number of individual lay church leaders within the 45 churches. We have created three bases representing the three areas of data management: 1) The Office of the Bishop or Diocese is the top level 2) the second base is Churches where all 45 congregations information is managed and 3) Clergy.where we track the 120+ individual clergy personnel. All of those three bases were created from Excel spreadsheets where we once tracked this information.
