Hello there,i generated an interface and when trying to open it within the mobile app on an iPhone 14 then it is loading endlessly with showing anything.On my desktop the interface is working fine.I closed and reopened the app but having the same issue.Any idea?Thanks a lot in advance.

One of the very best things about grids and lists in interfaces is that they can be filtered locally, that is, user A can find records where State = TX while user B is looking at records whose State = FL at the same time and using the exact same interface. Solves a huge problem with views in classic Airtable. Hi, is it possible to do the following in the Interface Designer or in Forms (old/new)?I want to create an "add new order" page/form, which will show the user all possible products taken from the Products table, and next to each item the user would be able to enter the desired quantity.Would look something like this:ProductQt.product1<user input>product2<user input>......after submitted the form a new order needs to be created with each row in the above table becoming a new record in "Order Line Items" table. I'm ok using scripts if that will allow it.Is this possible?Thanks.

Dear All,I'm designing right know an Interface to show the Warehouse stand of a multi site operation. I've programmed the tables in order to present the stand on each site and then to sum it up to have the general situation. Now I'm trying to visualize all in Interfaces. For the general situation I'll use a Dashboard with filters, but it is not ideal because the number fields are way to big and there is no way to create multi field chart. For the site situation I used the Record picker as a start. This template is a lot better to show a lot of data, because when presented as elements from the Record picker, the number field are small. To visualize the data I wanted to insert here some useful charts, but I've realized it is not possible to connect them to the record picker field. It is quite a strange behavior here from the interfaces: you can connect the chart to the record picker, but then the only sources available for the chart are the o

Hi all, I'm trying to build an interface with the recipe and the instructions side by side.I managed to pull all the data i need but my instructions is only showing the first line. The full list only appears when i double click in it.I am not sure if i've missed any settings. For the instructions, I've set it to a dedicated table with one line of rich text formatted in bullet points. I am trying to post all this in one page so we can have them printed.Thanks!

Hey everyone!I need to have multiple record pickers updating a list at once. I saw another post where someone commented on using a filter to group the record pickers, but its not really making sense to me. Im super new to airtable, a really detailed approach to this would be super appreciated! Thank you for any help! 

Hi, I'm looking for a way to create an interface that hold a list of records, that will display a required record only when looked for. kind of reverse filtering.for example:I have a list of of possible types of documents available to the customer.I want the list to be empty, but when he fills a filter with a certain value (for example:invoice), the record called "invoice" will appear.Any Suggestions?Nitai 

In the interface section, when I create a form page, is it possible to retrieve the id of the new entry created by the form?At the moment, I have the impression that the only one I can display is a free text like "Congrats, your answer has been sent" or something similar.Thank you for your reply.Julien

I am confused. I do not have very many records but some tables have about 150-250 fields per record.  When I use the interface designer is it the SLOWEST thing to edit, to the point of being useless. Why would this be as I only have like 200 records in most cases? It  also seem to happen in the evening a lot but I do not have any other extra  computer processes running compared to any other times. I'm getting lags of half a sec on selecting fields normally, I have to literally "Select" say "one one thousand"  then move the field.... but then at evening times and such and a few others I'm getting like a  1-3 second lag time on field selection response and occasionally up to 5! My latency is like 27-33 fyi.

I'm new to interfaces, so I'm only starting to understand them. I have recently created a list layout Interface with multiple pages within this Interface. When updating the record detail layout on one of the pages, this layout is then updated across all pages.Can you have different detail layouts across pages of same Interface or do you have to create new Interfaces?Any help would be appreciated 😁

Hi guys,I run a B2B business and means that throughout the time we have multiple contracts, quotes, services etc. Historical and ongoing.I was wondering If I could create a profile that links their contracts, quotes for long term relationships building that they can see and checkout for themselves - kind of like their own dashboard related to the business that they have with us Kind of like you can see the delivery status and past orders in Amazon

When using automated emails, I'd like to be able to include a URL that opens the expanded "record detail" view within an interface. Ideally, I'd be able to create a formula for this. However, I only seem to be able to do this if the record detail is "full screen" rather than "side screen." I know there is an individual URL for each expanded detail view in the Interface, because I can select the interlocking icon to copy the Record URL. However, I cannot find a way to get these URLs using a formula. I am using the list view. Any ideas? 

Hi all,I have a base in which we collect data on a bunch of indicators. We want to check our progress throughout the year against annual goals that we set for ourselves. We set goals for about 20 indicators out of 50 and we only want to monitor those ones even though we collect data on all 50.I would like to build a dashboard that would pull those 20 indicators, notes what the goal is for each, and then pull our progress. Our indicators are on one table in the base, and the data collection of each indicator is in another table. We do not currently have the goals listed on airtable.I havent figured out what style of interface is the best way to do this. The closest i got was writing the indicators and goals as text and using a "number" element to pull the progress, but that's obviously not ideal- is there a way for me to create a dashboard that looks like this picture and show only the indicators i want (and not all 50)? I dont mind writing up the goals as text.

We have a lot of projects and i want to create a refined high profile project interface. Option 1 is for me to manage what projects show up here, and its a singular list no matter who you are. We are all looking at the same high profile projects. This is easy to do, but less affective. Option 2, which is preferred, is to create a customizable high profile interface. So that each user can go to the page and see the projects they want to monitor. The problem i have with this is that it would need to be a multiple user field, and we would need to trust that when someone edits said field to add or remove their name that they dont mistakenly delete other names. So im looking for a way to make this happen with less risk of user error. one thought is to make a checkbox field to add to your report, and a separate checkbox field to remove from your report. then setup an automation that watches to see what user last modified one of thos

Hey everyone,I have a question regarding second-level filtering. In a classic CRM setup, I have a table that holds all my opportunities. I have another table that holds all my activities (say to do items that can be linked to opportunities in airtable) that contains a status field (to do, doing, done)My goal is to display all opportunities that do not have a planned (planned = status is not done) activity linked to the record  (every sales deal should have a next step planned. 100% stolen feature from pipedrive).Any way to achieve that in the interface?So far, I was able to half-achieve it by using the "when linked record field is empty" but that doesn't solve my problem since it would fail to highlight opportunities that have a linked activity marked as done, but not other activities linked.

Hello,I need two solutions or two ideas for reflection concerning my use of forms via the Interface part of Airtable.I have two separate forms for my CRM build with Airtable :- Form 1: Create a product that will be stored in the product table of my database. (Each time I have to create a new product, because I make unique products)- Form 2: Create a quote, which will include one of the products created in Form 1, and stored in the quote table.I've noticed a few limitations, and I'd like your help.When I create a product via Form1, instead of getting a message telling me that my item has been created, I would have liked to have the id of my created product displayed in return.When I create a quote, and I want to associate one or more products, unfortunately I don't have access to detailed data in the pop-up that displays the complete list of my products. All I see are IDs...Perhaps these are unavoidable limitations...If so, woul

I'm trying to create an interface which will enable review and selection of candidates, in order to select them for our program. They will be reviewed by 4 jurors, so I want each juror to have their own view in interface to give grades (1-5) to each candidate. So basically all 4 jurors  will review and give points to each candidate. I see there is an option in Interfaces to set up to 'view as', but I'm not sure if I can set it up this way, so that each collaborator has their own 'view' all in one interface page, based on their collaborator account. I have attached a screenshot to refer to, as to what I mean with the 'view as' option for different collaborators. Otherwise, is there a better way to set this up? 

Hi allI have an interface which allows users to add new rows, using the 'Record review' interface layout and the + button form at the top of the list of records on the left.I have a simple linked field, linking to a company table. Why doesn't it display any data from the company table as it does in some grid views when linking data? The linked field has the code as a primary field, but it has extra fields such as name and type etc, that would be really useful for the user to see which company they are linking to. This seems like a bug?  any suggestions?thanks

Hi,This is my interface page where I select investor from the dropdown. I have added a filter below and I want the filter to have the value selected from the dropdown.I understand that this kind of dynamic value setup is not possible in airtable interfaces as of today. So I am thinking of using airtable automation.Now when the user clicks the Set Carrier button, a script runs saving the name of the selected carrier in a variable. I can add a 'Find Records' step in the automation to use the same variable and filter the results. Now is there a way to publish the output of Find Records back to the interface page? I am able to see the records while testing automation. However a feature that can publish these as a list on the interface page would really be helpful. Any thoughts/suggestions? If anyone else could test, I'd appreciate it.Steps to recreate: Add record via form in interfacesMake sure the form submission has a datetime field, and set that field's default value to Current Time.Toggle off 'Allow users to edit this field'.Submit formWhen the record is created, the date field will have 24 hours added to it.I originally thought it had something to do with my timezone settings and GMT, but when I toggle on 'Allow users to edit this field', the 24 hours is not added to the date field on record creation.I have a video here that shows it happening to me. 

Hello,I have a linked record and when adding it to a user interface there are to "appearance" options 1) Pills; and 2) Cards. I am testing out a new build and with the linked record set to "Cards" I see the normal card view, however another user testing shows a "List" view. I am not seeing how one user could see a different layout than another. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Thing is I actually like the "List" view but cannot figure out how to change it to it. Looking forward to any ideas.
