Interface Designer

How can multiple users use the same airtable interface simultaneously?My interface is as follows 1. User selects investor and sets it by clicking a button. 2. The investor is saved in a temp table with a flag set as true 3. The user sees a list of startups and makes a selection of some startups by checking a checkbox 4. User selects a campaign date from a dropdown 5. User clicks on button to schedule. Button starts an automation that gets the carrier name from temp table only after seeing the flag as true, the list of startups that were checked and creates a row in the scheduler with the campaign date. After doing so it resets the startup checkbox and ready to schedule flag. Now if this above feature was to be used by more than 1 user at the same time, what changes would I need to make to my existing flow? Is there a way to retrieve the user id somehow

Is it possible to duplicate an interface into another base? It's a lot of work to re-create, and would like to avoid if possible. If not, is this a feature airtable is currently working on? 

I'm in the process of building a first app and suddenly I'm having a weird problem which is driving me nuts.In the past I was able to edit the record details page layout at will. Ie. resizing elements, reordering them to be side by side and adding text elements etc. Now for all the new record details pages I add (new and old interfaces), I can't seem to do that at all. Additionally in the side menu I have a text "This is a new record details layout experience." when it doesn't work. On the old record details pages no such text exists. Also the add element button is missing entirely on these problem pages so I can't eg. add any clarifying texts anywhere on the page. Did Airtable really kill that major bit of functionality or am I just doing something stupid? I can't find anywhere any info on what the heck this "new record details layout experience" is actually supposed to mean compared to old way.  

Hello,I'd like to create a Digital Planner like this one. It seems the Interface Designer lack of feature or may be I don't know how to do it.TopLeft component should be a Record Picker but it seems AirTable only allow Select Box UI not Calendar UI (month) ?Middle component should be Calendar UI (week). It can be  filter on current Record but the date can't be position to current record's date ... the visible range is 00h to 23h30 it can be narrow...Left CheckList can be done with List filter on current record but can't resize title, only add a prefix field.OK : Other fields, description, ... OK : Media field in CarouselAny suggestion to improve the UI ?Thanks ! 

Hello, Does anyone know how to format buttons in an interface record detail?For example, I would like to move the buttons around and have all 3 be the same size and display at the same time instead of having the weird drop down menu. Also I would like to reorder the position of the buttons.Thanks in advance for any suggestions!  

I've to create interfaces to access to our base, but users that logged in have to see only its own data (user is linked with each row in the database).So they can read, modify data linked with their accountHow can I do this in Airtable? or have I to use only the base and automation and develop interfaces via 3rd parties like Softr, Glide or others?Thanks  

Good morningat the interface level when adding a new customer, is it possible to find a solution for duplicate customers (who have the same telephone number)??The objective is to distinguish duplicate clients or, if possible, block the addition of a duplicate client.for example color duplicate records or add a new field that counts if the same number repeats or use a script in the interface

Hi,Someone shared an Air Table Interface with me and made me the editor.  When I accept the invite and logon with google on a PC, I'm able to see the interface and access it.  However, when i'm on my android phone and try to access it via the Android app, nothing is displaying.  The Recent tab has a message "No Recently open apps", and when I selected the "Starred" tab, it also said "Nothing Starred yet".  Try to browse, nothing is displayed.  The notification on the app does show a message that someone is sharing the interface with us, but nothing happened after we  click on the notification as well.Any ideas?ThanksDat

I am looking to find a formula that takes you right to the Interface from the source table, with the record expanded on the right side inside the Interface and also specific to what ever is pre-selected on the "Drop Down" option. Problem...A business software license broker has 200+ records of inventory available for lease. Currently she sends her customers a link to a google sheet. Then they email her back with what they have picked, and the deal moves down the pipeline. There are issues with follow up and communication which result in a lot of missed opportunities. Each deal requires several variables be determined such as Price negotiation, length of term, location, server hosting requirements, etc. additionally there are document generation issues which further slow the process, purchase orders, nondisclosure agreements, and sales contracts. Hi Team,Would it be possible to limit the number of decimals in Interfaces charts? Please see the example below. The data is not very legible because there are too many decimals after the coma, when calculating an average. Thanks

I’m really enjoying the new collaborator views on interfaces. But I wish buttons could pass the collaborator information of who pressed them, especially for automations and scripts.It solves the problem of multiple collaborators checking the same checkbox, getting the collaborator information from a last modified by field, and waiting for an automation to uncheck the same checkbox so someone else can do it. I don’t know if it’s a tall ask, but it’d really help me refine user-specific controls and automations. thanks!

I have a linked field in my Customer’s Table called services. On the interface page I want to show the notes of those services. Currently I have a Gallery View, but you can only show 4 lines of the field. Is there any way to show more information without having to click and open the Service? Or is there another way to show this data? Thank you,

I have enabled Airtable's native password protection feature for my form created using the Interface Designer. When someone navigates to my form's URL, they need to enter the form password in order to access the form.How long can someone access the form after entering the form password? When testing on my computer and phone, I noticed that I can continue to access the form for about 24 hours after first submitting the form password without having to submit the form password again. After that time, I am prompted to reenter the form password. Does Airtable require the password to be resubmitted every 24 hours?

Is it possible to prefill a password for a form?Something like this: https://airtable.com/baseID/pag23482374823/form?prefill_password={password} This would be really helpful because sometimes I need to send a form with sensitive linked records to people who do not have base access.

When I am on Safari on the iPad I cannot see the “add element” button on in the interface editor.  I can see this button when I access the same interface but using Linux/Windows. 

How do I delete an interface LAYOUT (i.e., when I click on a linked record on a page and it opens another page in the drawer with a customized LAYOUT). I have a whole bunch of excess layouts that I was experimenting with and it has made a mess of my ability to apply the right layout setting because the dropdown has tonnes of bad layout options that, and I like to delete them so that the don't get inadvertently applied across my interface. SCREENSHOT:https://www.screencast.com/t/SiKFWk30oXjA 

I am trying to find a solution to printing interface out tasks in a A4 portrait Layout, but currently if users print its several pages of mess. I have build a page layout in extension 'Page Designer' but unable to create this as a button as to allow the users viewing in interface to be able to print the details. Any Ideas how to print interface? Ideally would like it to be a button as I need it to be user friendly, who have only Interface viewer access only. 

Hello,I'm created a registration form. I need the users to select their specific identification information. The information is stored in another base. I can create a link to the appropriate base field and this information will display in the second bases registration form. However, the information is displayed as a single row and it's a long row of information that gets cutoff in the form. I want to stack the information. I tried using \n creating a line break however, rtf data is not passed through a linked primary field (I can only link a primary field).Any suggestions for using one base that stores the following: State, award number, award titleand linking that information to another base as a selectable field in a form?

Hi There, Wondering if any one has noticed that the bar chart in interfaces by default is set to stack and there is no option to change it. Also there is no way to change the format of the data presented. If any one knows otherwise gthat would be great help.

We have a table syncing to our team's base that gives a summary of our workstations: like the user's name, start and end date, and the booking availability, (available, booked, on hold), station nameWe'd love a chart or report that allows us to look into the future by selecting a day or date range in the future, and get back the number of stations available and number booked on a given day or within the date range given.Is this possible? Trying to use the charts and filters in Interface designer but unsure how to get what I want. I think the issue is if a station's Booking Availability field is "Available", then the dates would be empty. So I think I'm realizing trying to use filters based on dates won't get me info on stations set to "Available"

Airtable, Please consider adding tabs/pages to the Record review area. There are workflows were you do not want to be scrolling up and down. Tabs would allow “pages” for other fields, text descriptions, etc. This would be similar to using the Description app. Thanks, Jonathan

I have some interfaces where list views are grouped by client name.  I would like a "collapse all" or "expand all" function so that in those interfaces, it is possible to quickly expand all the lists or collapse them and then go one-by-one.  The only "global" controls that I see are filter and sort.  Are there others, or some way to do "collapse all" and "expand all" elsewhere?  Thanks.

I have a dashboard using a Timeline view. Add records is enabled. I can click on the plus button to add a record, but the dates are always odd and not reflective of where I am in the timeline. But if I try to do the click and drag to add the record directly in the timeline window it doesn't do anything. is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
