I have a table with records belonging to various contacts. As an example, I have five records for contact A. These records are tracking numbers of shipments that we need to air freight to Contact A. I would like to email all 5 records in a Typeform link, so that contact A can select the shipments he would like us to ship and also provide delivery address information. Suppose he selects 3 out of the 5, the 3 should be added to an existing table, from which we will process the shipment. Is it possible to set up such a workflow?

Hi, been trying out Airtable for a few weeks and believe it may be a helpful project tracking/database tool for my firm. I run a structural engineering firm in the San Francisco Bay Area with about 20 employees. We initiate about 150 projects per year of varying size. Each project has statuses, phases, timetables, milestones, budgets, unique attributes (e.g. address, type, location, material use, etc) , a client, multiple outside contacts (architect, contractor, soils engineer, etc), and often multiple assigned internal team members (collaborators in Airtable parlance). I want to create a solution that 1) records each project, its attributes and contacts, 2) tracks projects status, phases, schedules and milestones, 3) provides a weekly workload planning dashboard for each staff member (based upon to-do project tasks), 4) provides staff timesheets, and 5) tracks project budgets. Hi, I’m new to airtable and I’m sure this is the best possible solution for tracking projects if done correctly. I have tried watching many videos to figure out how to build the base that can help me monitor the progress but it’s all to vain. We are a video production company and work with freelancers. I have two tables that have information that is needed to create formulas to auto calculate gaps. For example, I have one table set up grouped by Month and Coach and has columns that are in currency format. They have revenue amounts and other count numbers. I have another table that is created to calculate the gap between the numbers in the first table and the newly entered numbers from Coach inputs in a form within that second table. So somehow I need to get the information that is sorted by Month and Coach into the second table to create formulas to calculate with the new information that will come from the form. Hello, We’re an exercise service that launches new workouts daily. We’re using airtable to track our daily content production and would like to add a page for content programming - tracking number of plays of music, playlist selection, name of instructor, shoot days etc. We have it basically mapped out and working in google sheets but it’s a lot of duplicate info that’s already in airtable, so we’d like to integrate this into our main airtable. Is this something you can help with? If so, can you give me an estimate or hourly rate? We have the capabilities in house to handle this but don’t have the bandwidth. Thanks, Sam

Hello, I am currently in the process of moving our tutoring center away from spreadsheets. The first endeavor is setting up our contacts in Airtable. Right now I have student information in one table and parent information in another table and am attempting to link them together. The problem is that many parents and students from different families share the same first and last names. I have ID numbers that both the parents and the students share so linking them together should be easier, but I am having trouble creating a one-to-many link so that one family entry can be linked to multiple students from the student information table. I may also look for some assistance expanding our record-keeping in Airtable. Currently most of our student data is in various spreadsheets and I am hoping to consolidate that in Airtable. We would like to be able to see the capacity of teams at any given time based on current workload and future projections. I don’t want to be too prescriptive, but we have data at two periods within the lifecycle of a projects. In the beginning we have forecasted estimates of how long it will take and known future capacity - we would like to see if we need to hire for future time frame Once a project gets into scheduling - we have a decent view of capacity, but it would be great to do some rollup and reporting of that data.

Hoping to get some insight into how to build an airtable base. Context: Our business development department is collecting information internally on prospective vendors. They’ll then input the information into airtable with the expectation that all documentation can be outputted into 1 seamless “packet” of information taking all documentation from airtable. Here are the requirements of the base: 100+ vendors 3 Phases of document / conversation completion. (Ex: In Phase 1, we must collect the Brand Analysis document, and have a “Top to Top” conversation. Each Brand Analysis document and Top to Top conversation will be the same, but the responses will be unique for each vendor. There is a chance that the Brand Analysis document (for example) may live in Airtable, or may be an excel document. Hello all, I’m looking for help on a particular project. It’s a visual directory of people/things/activities/relationships specific to a particular industry. I have a base in Airtable with tables setup… The 4 main tables are as follows: Person Company Project Relationship The idea is those 3 main entities (Person/Company/Project) all have relationships to each other… And that those relationships also carry data themselves. For example… Bill Gates (person) has a relationship to Microsoft (company)… but we also want to know the time range that relationship was valid (from, til), as well as the nature of the relationship (e.g. CEO). I have an Airtable base, I have a website. How can I hook them together so that website visitors can search the databases?

I have a pretty simple database I use to make repair tickets. I receive the repair request via a form submission on our site and import it via Zapier. When I send each record field to the different shops to handle the repair, it takes about 4 pages of paper to print out. I essentially need to be able to reduce the amount of spacing between listed fields so it we can reduce the number of pages each shop has to print out. Anybody got experience with this? Hey all, So I am new here and totally new to word of airtable and databases, my knowledge ends at 10th grade excel. We are a bakery in Berlin, Germany trying to readjust to life after Corona. I came across Airtable but am too busy trying to run a bakery rather than trying to learn a whole new software. We are trying to get a database together, in which we can easily input new ingredients/suppliers/costings/recipes and link to our sales to manage our overhead better. Here is a list of things I am after. Ingredients and recipe costings (we reuse ingredients in our kitchen, bakery, retail space and online retail space, focus on zero waste) Easy recipe and costing generation forms intergration with pos (we use orderbird, cybake and shopify currently) production planning shift planning financial reporting. All this is just the start, we are seperating our wholesale department into a seperate log

We are an alternative energy finance company in Dallas, TX that is reviewing Airtable to handle our (simple for now) database needs. In the short run I expect 1 base with 4-6 tables that focus on definable assets (with lat/lon coordinates), their links to a geographic area (counties or sections thereof), their owners, and then any contacts/CRM type stuff. I have built a prototype/sample myself, but am having trouble automating the links (writing the script defeated me for now). Could use immediate help for deciding, and this could turn into an ongoing gig. Local helpful (Dallas) but not required.

Basically I want to use airtable to integrate the 2 worksheets of data (education business, data comprises student registration, payment, exam result and funding administration). Want to create a single data source for everyone in my company, and use airtable to display and data in a meaningful and productive way instead of relying on column view.

I’m not sure if what I’m trying to do is even possible with Airtable. But it needs to be as user friendly as possible because it will be used by employees of my company. I’m a service based company and I’ve been using Airtable to track work for various customers. Requirment 1 - Workorder To be able to fill out a form with relatively simple user experience. Ability to enter a lot of data into the form with a minimal interface (ability to hide fields until they are required would be ideal). Also data in the form must link to other tables and grab data from those tables. Also the form must be able to collect signatures. All on mobile. I tried out Fulcrum on a recommendation and it has everything I need for the form side, but not the data management or report side.
