Morning, I am a small business owner. I am looking to create a new base in Airtable concerning our daily petty cash. Would be interested to see if I can connect with an Airtable expert to see if what I want is possible and what would be the costs. I would like to use this base to address the following needs: Use the data entry table as a log which I then import into QB. (We don’t require help with the import as we are currently using Zed Axis). Provide management with visibility to key relationships derived from the data entry table. (Management is on Airtable). Provide management with a summary that contains linked records to “drill down” on an expense as needed.

Hi All, I need help creating a forecasting tool on Airtable which will tell me when to place re-orders taking into account different lead times from different factories. I have an excel spreadsheet created but I’d like the conditional formulas to be transferred to and work on Airtable, with a good way of summarising the data. Can anyone help with this? Advertiser Perceptions is building a database of the results of numerous survey research projects. We don’t have a database expert on staff and would need consulting to get the project off the ground (at least). We are exploring Airtable as well as other potential solutions.

Hi there! I’d like to hire an Airtable expert to teach me a few things. Rather than poking around the learning curve of Airtable, I’m seeking someone with experience with manipulating a large volume of data in Airtable. It’s a bit of an unusual situation with just over 40,000 contact records, many of which are duplicates, and I’m wondering what my options are for tidying it up. I need to remove duplicates, isolate records that have no email address, and allow someone else to go through and fill in those blanks. My firm has created a custom project management system using MS Access, a SQL database, and some Joomla stuff for a web interface. We started this in 2011, so it has become very tired and complicated. We are looking to move this functionality over to Airtable, but need some help doing this since we no longer have the guy in-house who built our current system. Please advise if interested, thanks.

I outgrew google sheets and am needing to quickly get up and running in airtable. The system I want setup will be for three events. It needs to have a master list of attendees, a list of event-specific attendees, and an event-specific transportation manifest. I also want to be able to track our hotel room block utilization.

Looking for somebody to consult with my organization around best practices and database structure. As we start to move all our project management and data into Airtable, we want to ensure we’re setting things up successfully for now and future use. About me: I am the Company Director for a photo experience & photo marketing company looking to switch our complicated (but effective) Google Spreadsheet over to Airtable. I have above average skills in spreadsheets, so I’m not coming in blind. I have imported an older version of our Event Database into Airtable and played around with it for 5-10 hours or so. I just have a few hangups in terms of seeing what we’re doing in Sheets translate over to Airtable. We are currently using Sheets for: Event Management (850+ events in 2017) Data dashboard (using FILTER functions to SUM revenue, COUNT most popular products, etc) Invoice records Contact database Integrations We are currently running Zapier automation to automatically pull information from new bookings into the spreadsheet We’d love to automate more, so open to suggestions for other integrations (though this isn’t the highest priority)

We are an e-commerce company and sell physical products online in various online marketplaces. We need an online database such as Airtable to store and share data with other collaborators. We are attracted to the Airtable due to the visual aspects of the software, the ability to host image url’s, the formula’s that can modify the data, and the API which allows access by external programs. We also like the ability to simply drag and drop images from the web or our desktop into a field in Airtable and it convert those images into hosted image url’s. The product data we gather is what is initially made available to us by the manufacturers. We’ll call this “raw data” and store it in one database. Raw data will be manually imported or entered by a specific team. In essence, we need to be able to produce several product export files that conform to several different file formats which contain specific headers. We ultimately will be importing all of these product files

I’m looking to engage someone for a few hours of consulting regarding an Airtable project. Here are the broad strokes. I want to over time, create multiple databases focusing on a niche community. Typical fields would include contact info (single line fields) and fields that support media (photos, etc) Databases will initially be seeded with a certain amount of records, then subsequent entries would be inputted by external community members In terms of scaling, I want to be able to create a database on the fly and have it be connected to the front end experience along with the other connected databases I want to explore how these databases can be connected, with a front-end experience that begins with a simple search field. Hello, I recently came across airtable and believe that it is the perfect tool to use to build a request management system for my office. The database would be used by out concierge team members to see all incoming requests. Request forms would include event meetings, badge requests, restaurant bookings, same day requests, lost and found, car service and so on. We would also like to build reports and understand all incoming request better. I was also wondering if it’s possible to somehow send notifications and meeting invites to an outlook calendar. Hi Folks, We have set up AirTable to track client engagements and want to do two things: First, attach Gmail emails to tasks in Airtable. Right now we don’t see a Chrome extension that makes this possible the way SmartSheet or Trello does this A lower priority is to automate emails out to clients with next steps when a current task is complete. Tieing Gmail emails to an Airtable task seems like a need that many Airtable customers will have. Thanks for your help! Abe…

We currently use Google Docs and an array of other platforms to manage our applicant tracking, compliance and staffing operations and I’m convinced Airtable would be a better option however I don’t currently have the time to research and test it on my own. I am the volunteer technology guy advising a non-profit in building and organizing their data with Airtable. Initial needs are in contact management and keeping in touch with various segments of these contacts (for example, donors, governmental office holders, local business owners/managers and newsletter subscribers). Future needs involve gathering, recording and cataloging oral histories and historic images of a specific geographic area in North Carolina. I’m at the budgeting stage now and am seeking guidance as to what I should recommend to this non-profit Board of Directors for Airtable design, build and future consulting services. Bob
