Hey Airtable community! I have records with a start/end time field. The field is set to "Use the same time zone for all collaborators" so that, regardless of which time zone we view the records in, the time stays the same. However, when viewing these records in a calendar view, the times are 4/5 hours behind.What might be going on here? It seems that the time zone for the individual calendar view was set to some other time zone, but I don't see an option for how to change this.Thanks for your help!

Hi there!I am trying to find a way to be able to duplicate a project with linked tasks that will create new duplicate tasks instead of being automatically linked to the old tasks.Example I have Project R5 S5 Launch with all of it's tasks (Music, Edit, Filming, Sound) linked and named under that R5 S5 Launch. When I duplicate that project to a new project R5 S6 Launch it currents links all the tasks still to R5 S5 Launch tasks but I would like to be able to have the tasks duplicated and under the new project name as well.  I saw that there might be a script that can do this but I have been unable to find it. Doesn't know have any suggestions? Let me know if you need any clarification.Thanks!

Is there a way to show a counter when as new form is submitted?So I am with a small UK charity and we are looking at setting up a new area but to do so we need 5 founding members and 100 people to say yes I am interested (see founding members and members counters on page below) https://www.littlemiraclescharity.org.uk/our-branches/areas-coming-soon/st-ives-huntingdonshireIs there a way to automatically update this?  Our website is on a custom CMS so its not something I can do on wordpress I have a beautiful counter using the summary extension is there a way to have this as an iframe in order to update automatically? / Any other work around which I have not thought of - we are only a tiny charity so it really needs to be free though 😞  Any help would be amazing thanks in advance

Very odd question. Does anyone know what software Airtable uses for their Forum? I love the look and style of it and would like to know so I can talk to the provider.

I understand that if I share in editor mode a base with someone that has a free plan, this will add 1 billable collaborator to my pro plan. But if I share in editor mode with someone that has a plus plan (10$/month), is that has the same effect on my pro plan and add 1 billable collaborator?Thanks

I have a table "Companies".I would like to setup a form that would show what is already in certain fields in Companies.  The idea is the person can verify the info and use the form to make changes or additions to the existing information.  The people that would receive the form don't have access to the full Companies table because they do not need full access.  But the purpose of the form would be to update certain pieces of info.  Is this possible? 

I'm making up the example, but it's a lot simpler than my actual use case: Let's say I've got a table with a large menu of dinner items. I have a column of food preferences (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc) which is a multi-select field. Now let's say someone points out that it would be a good idea for me to track what options are halaal or kosher. I would like to be able to select all of the menu items that are appropriate and add "kosher" or "halaal" to only those items, without overwriting the current values (vegetarian, etc). What's the best way to do this? I think this would also affect any property that functions like multi-select, most importantly links to another table.

We had someone accidentally make a bunch of edits to all of the fields of 195 records. (I'm not even sure how they did that).when I look at Snapshot - the last snapshot was 24 hours ago. In that time period, we had 35 form submissions. So if I revert back to the last snapshot - I'll loose the 35 submissions.Is there a way I can revert back 24 hours? Is there a way to undo edits to specific records?  

Hi, all. I'm transitioning from Google Sheets and I understand things are different here, so please have patience with me :-). I am basically trying to implement a VLOOKUP functionality.I have the following use case: I have two tables, customers and orders. Their only commonality is the User ID.I am now trying to look up a field in the customer table (name) and display it in the orders table by using Lookup. Each customer has a large number of orders.When linking the two records and creating a lookup field, I can get the name to display on the orders table. But only for that one particular order and only by manually linking a record. My expectation was that Airtable recognizes that each "name" field in the orders table should now be filled the relevant value from the customers table. Like I would do with an arrayformular in Google Sheets. But that's not happening. What am I doing wrong?

I'm trying to share a restricted (not all fields and filtered) area of a base via a shared link. I'd love to give the external users permission to copy content from this base. But as soon as I enable that option, the generated link gives them the option of using the data in a new or existing base, and thus unlocks my whole workspace... a bug ? Or is it behaving like this only because I'm now testing this by sending the link to myself as owner of the base ? 

I currently have made a pretty simple set up with two tables. 1 table has bunch of projects listed and the other one is my clock in and clock out. I’ve then made a form so staff can clock in and clock out via their phone. The form has 2 date fields a ‘clock in’ and ‘clock out’ and a link to the first table. Currently it works by employees clock-in and clock-out all in one go, so each record is one log and can tell me amount of time worked in one log. However I’m wondering if there is a way to have a ‘clock in’ which can be used once a task is started and another clock out which can be used once a task is finished, but still tell me how long each specific logs are?

Hi! Is there any way to remove the airtable add on the page that comes after submitting an airtable form? I've managed to personalize the message that appears (or part of it), but not removing what comes next. Any tips on this would be highly appreciated!Thanks! 

Hi,I'm using attachments in a table and uploading them through the API, running on Glide.My understanding from the small amount of research I've done is that there is no way of scanning attachments for content. We're uploading PDFs into airtable, and would like to scan them for viruses. I'm pretty sure this is not possible right now in Airtable. Can anyone confirm this?Thank you in advance,Evan

I've started considering Interfaces for my team of 5, but I have a question specific to "Assignee".Scenario: We run events. Each event (1 event is 1 airtable record) is led by one of our team members. Ideally, they use an interface to show them which upcoming events have specific action needed. (we currently do this, but via views, and the volume of views has gotten out of control). We didn't previously use the "Assignee" function. Instead, we had a column that we called "owner", which was their first name, so you can filter on what events were yours, and what upcoming actions were needed. The adaption of Assignee seems to work for upcoming events, but I'm more curious about past events. In some instances, the "Owner" of an event no longer works here. So I can't transition all "Owner" to "Assignee", because it's my understanding that assignee can only be current base users? Does anyone else run into this and have a workaround? Hey Everyone,Happy New Year! I have a Make scenario that is extracting attachments from emails  and saving them to OneDrive. I'm then creating a record in Airtable and trying to add the attachment. It all seems to work OK but the attachments always open with blank pages in Airtable like it doesn't recognize them. If I download then I get the same issue. If I add the link to the file in Airtable it works OK and opens from the link in the record. Any ideas ?     

Hello,Just until yesterday I was able to read calendar months, and days of the week in my local language (Spanish) on the airtable interface for calendar:Green arrows in the attached image show 'Diciembre' and 'Vie' (Viernes) which now shows as December and friday.How can I make airtable to show this info in Spanish language again?

I would like to have visitors to my website signup for mailing list , and submit email address direct to my Airtable from HTML web form. I can successfully do all that now, BUT the same API token can be used to READ the entire table… How can my API token be used to submit data from web, but not allowed to read whole table?

I have a squarespace website which currently interacts with zapier and airtable to create a new record in my airtable base every time I submit a form on my website. That same form submission also causes an acknowledgement email, containing form data, to be sent to an email address inputted by the website user into the form. In general I am trying to find a database solution which will work with my squarespace website, and airtable is one of the candidates. I need my squarespace website java script code (which I am well versed in) to be able to do the following: 1. Search the airtable base for a record; 2. perform an atomic read/update function on the record so that only one website instance at a time can read/update and no other website instance can access the record in between the read and update. I would like to reference up-to-date data from an Airtable base in Google Sheets. For example, I’d like to execute a formula in Google Sheets based on live Airtable data, or populate a Google Sheets dropdown menu (via data validation) based on the data in an Airtable field (i.e. column). I know that it’s possible to export data from Airtable, but those data are static (i.e. they won’t update when the data in Airtable changes). Is there a solution within Airtable’s existing features? There appear to be a few third-party solutions. Are there any users of those third-party solutions who can recommend one over another? Thanks a bunch. G

Is there any formula or function available in AirTable that calculates the mode of the values in a series? I can see on a grouped view that I can choose to summarize each group by summary, average, median, min, max but I don’t see mode as an option and can’t find anything on this in support or here in this (wonderful!) community. “Mode” is a calculation that returns the most frequently occurring value in a series. Specifically, I am trying to highlight records with a value not equal to the mode of a series/group. Thank you!

Saw the URL structure for prefilling a form (airtable[dot]com/1234?prefill_Name=Jane for example), but I’m trying to prefill a form with today’s date in one of the date fields. I tried ?prefill_Date=TODAY() and ?prefill_Date=Now() but appears after some experimentation that URL passes the text straight through rather than using the named formula. Is there any way to get a date field on a form to pre-fill / default to today’s date??

Hello, I have observed some performance decrease for the last 10 days, no matter the size of the database I am working with. The message “Loading this view may be slow due to a large number of records or fields” appears very often (it even appears when I call the airtable “What’s new” menu) Calling linked records is slower than it used to be. I am using Airtable every day to consolidate different data sources and my daily work has increased due to this performance breakdown. Am I the only one to observe a performance breakdown and, if not, is there anything to do? Thank you Pascal
