Hello, I’m using a template for tracking multiple projects across different teams and workstreams. In my Gantt view, I cannot get a critical path to show to save my life. I understand that the path will only show related tasks that dont overlap, but I have some pretty straightforward waterfall dependencies and still no path. Here’s a screenshot: I know the show critical path option is on. Not sure if this is because of multiple projects or the view being by quarter. Thanks for your help.

I want to parse text date entries from a single record into calendar date entries so that a calendar view can be used to visualize the dates. We have our sales records entered by product, so each individual product gets a separate entry, with multiple “dates”. For example: Email Ad | 1/1, 1/2, 1/3 (etc). The “dates” are referencing another table with text records created for each day of the week that product can be sold. I want to be able visualize all of the dates that product is sold on, and see which record it is. So on a calendar I would see 1/1: COMPANY A, COMPANY B 1/2: COMPANY B, COMPANY C (etc) an example of a sales entry: I am trying to set up an automation whereby as soon as a product is entered with the dates added, new records for each date are created on another table (so first entry is 1 product with 5 dates, then the automation creates 5 matching records for the 5 dates as individual calendar dates, so the calendar view can be used). Hi Airtable A few of the projects I really want to take on using Airtable are at a blocking point because they involve in-app scanning of our company ID badges which are encoded with CODABAR. CODARBAR, as far as I can tell, is an unsupported barcode type (using iOS app FWIW). Is there a way for me to add compatibility for this barcode on my end or is this only solvable in your development stack? Thanks ever for any thoughts and for such a great product overall!

Fill out and send form (1) from Arengu Return a “thank you” email using gmail, a PDF will be attached From the mail sent, there will be a link to complete another form (2) in Arengu Once the form (2) is completed, a new email will be sent with the content of the form (2) generated in a doc in gdrive, which will have a link to modify the answers in word and another to schedule a meeting in gmeet. The form information (1) and (2) have to be unified, and I think this part is where Airtable comes in. Any suggestion? Thank you in advance!

I’m trying to initialize the Sendgrid block. I get an API key from the Sendgrid site. When copied to airtable, it’s invalid. On the API key page, sendgrid mentions I need to “verify sender details” before using the email API. I verified an email, but the popup still occurs. Maybe this is a reason. Unfortunately, Airtable posts won’t allow supplementary images. Thoughts on why this happens?

I used to be able to use my bases, but over the last few weeks the next steps/ready to use your base? pop-up has become impossible to move. It pops up when I open a base and covers half of the base, but the top of it goes under the toolbar and I can’t move it. So I can’t close it. I basically can only see a few columns of my base at a time. I’ve tried different browsers and it’s the same. I had to get out of the base to even see the help options. Also trying to paste an image showing what’s happening but having unusual problems with that too. Maybe you’ll see it below? Thanks!

Hello, I know Airtable recently did an update were they are addressing a security issue by making the share links expire but come to find out its making my profile link images not show to my users because the share link is expiring does any one know a work around this, this is really effecting the functionality of my apps can i just keep is the way it was or make it were it does not expire?

Trying to create an automation that will send an email on a specific date when a field in the base is blank. I start the automation as “at a scheduled time” and when creating the conditional group, the only option I have is use data from “at a scheduled time”. I need it to be able to access the base and set the condition to the particular field.

I am a freelance designer that uses the free Airtable account with my clients. My clients have access to the Airtables I have created as an editor, so they can add text and images to projects I am working on for them. I want to do more automation and integrate some apps, so I can see I need to pay for Airtable. My question is, what happens to my clients once I move to a paid account? Do I have to pay for a seat for them to be able to edit my Airtables? Are they only able to view my Airtables with a free account?

Hello, I have a table where I track contractors for attendance within an SLA. I have SLA Due date and time and Site Attendance date & Time. I have then have a formula column which tells me if the job is pending, Missed or Met. Hi there, I noticed that the HTML attachment preview seems to be unable to render Unicode characters. Characters like typographic apostrophes or em-dashes turn into garbage character sequences. (See attached screenshots.) Is this a known bug? Is there a workaround available?

Hi there, I’m trying to setup a data base for a Webflow project and I need the following to happen. As you can see on the image above, I have a column for cities, and another for city ID. Both are dropdowns including different options where only 1 can be selected. The city column includes things like London, New York, etc. and the columns City ID has an ID that is associated with a city. Is there a way to link both columns so that when I select London from the City column, automatically selects the ID in the City ID that is associated with London? Thanks

I have a base with all our members and there details in. In one field we have numbers, in the other field we have a field with a Formula that works out the membership number. Our membership changes and sometimes people leave. When they leave we delete them from the Base. When we delete the row they are in, the numbers all change again, and this changes all the existing member numbers. Is it possible to delete a row but not change the other rows numbers.

We created a form to survey responses from our partners. We were able to translate the questions and directly put the translated versions in the survey. However, it seem parts of the automated messages that are pre-filled that is sent can not be translated. Is there a way to translate it? See attached for reference. Thank you!

Hello, I am currently looking for an inventory management system for my business. I fulfill all orders myself from my warehouse. I do about 2500 shipments per month and hand writing inventory has become a pain. I am currently looking in to ecomdash for the inventory management but they do not offer integration with UPS, which I absolutely need as most of my items are larger in size and heavy. Is there any program/site that allows… 1- Inventory management and syncing across multiple channels. (ebay, amazon, sears, magento, rakuten) 2- the ability to create shipping labels with ups, fedex,post office and update back to channel with tracking information. I even checked Inventory management video for more information but did not find much. Ecomdash seems to be the closest I have found but no UPS integration. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

How do I add a hyperlink to AirTable? For instance, I am making a table to include stories I’ve created online. I want to just include the title of the story and hyperlink it. I saw an answer that said go to the hover ui and click the icon on the left. I have no idea what that means. Don’t know what hover ui is or where to see the icon. Thank you!

Hello! I was wondering is there a way to do what this screenshot shows with a formula? I want to use the output of that formula to update an automation to change a single select field to show when the project is due. We can’t use the color feature anymore because we are trying to switch over to interfaces and unless I completely missed it, there isn’t a way to have the color feature on a record review interface. Any help would be great!

Hey folks! I’m new to Airtable and am trying out some stuff. As you can see I have a column per month (I know this isn’t ideal but this is how stakeholders want it). Now I want to use some logic to only show months that are in the future. So my question is if I can somehow reference the field names (like Jun 2023), convert that to a date and work with it in a formula field? Any input is welcome! I have an airtable we use for my wife’s online resale business. Our item numbering consists of a letter to indicate the department (Men-M, Women-W, Kids-K, Electronics-E). We also have a number to indicate the category (1- Accessories, 2-Shoes, etc…). Lastly is a number that is added which I can do with autonumber. I would like to use a formula to generate this number automatically, but need help turning the category into the corresponding number as the form is set up with a single select that has the category names. Since the the Letter I use for each department is always the first letter, I used the left formula to get the letter I need. I can use concatenate to put the pices together, but need to convert my category names into the appropriate number that I use for them in the item #. An example is W12-2 is Women’s department, 12 stand for the shoes category, and the 2 is the 2nd pair of shoes that were entered into inventory. i have a table called MetonicAppFileK which a number of fields including today’s date, which ive called GregDate. One of the fields in the table shows the Metonic Year for each day called MetNo. i would like to select records based on the value of MetNo for today;'s date GregDate. So i first need to find the MetNo for today’s date. then select all records with the same MetNo. any idea how i would do this?

Hey, I have been using airtable for a while and I’m confused… I have email set as a field on a form but I’m getting this message and thus the email field won’t appear on the form… However the email field is an “Email type” entry field, not read only, so I dont understand why I can’t have it as a user input field…

Mac App has broken since the major UI refresh. No option to login. Error message: We’re sorry, but you don’t have permissions to access this page. You need to have “owner” permissions in order to access the workspace account page. You can ask your workspace’s owner to give you these permissions if you need them. Emailed support but 4 days passed and no solution. Downloaded the latest version from the website, still the same behavior. Any suggestions?
