Hi, I’m hoping someone can help. My company manages projects and when a project has a formal issue, we create a Governance Ticket related to it in another Base (to ensure the underlying information is not visible to other users). This results in a series of Syncs between Bases. Projects sync to the Governance Base from a Projects Management Base Governance Tickets sync back to the Projects Management Base (showing a limited View of the issue’s details. What I can’t get to work is the update using automations of the RAG status field which lives on Projects tab on the Projects Management Base. The scenario is that a ticket is raised which moves a project to Red status, which is a field in the Governance Base. The sync occurs and shows that a ticket relating to a Project is in Red status and if the current Project is not in Red, the automation should change the linked Project record to Red status. Hello - I’m trying to set up an automation that runs whenever my editor inputs a note into a field. When I had the automation set to trigger when field is updated, I would get 7+ notifications as she typed her message. I adapted the trigger to be ‘when a record enters a view’ and the view only shows records with notes in the notes field, and a formula I added: IF({MINS SINCE UPDATE} > 5, “Automate”, “Wait”) To only show records that say ‘Automate’ to give her 5 min to type her message. However, this now sends a notification any time any record with notes is modified in any way. My question is: Is there a way to have the minutes since update formula only watch my notes field?

I have a spreadsheet that lists email addresses along with two pieces of data each in one column. Some email addresses have one row, some have 3, some have up to 60. What I’d like to do is sent one email to each email address and include the other two rows of data whether it be 1 or 60 in the email. Anybody have any good suggestions for accomplishing this?

Hello, I am new to AirTable, trying to figure out how to implement my required features. I need to let users specify a payment schedule. So that the user can add dates, and values for each date. Ideally I would like to figure out how to add a column which is a “List of Date+Number pairs”. If that is not possible (and it doesn’t seem possible?) what would be the best way to simulate this feature? I have not yet looked at creating Interfaces in case there is a way to create a one-to-many with a “Payment Schedule” table and have multiple records in multiple tables be populated by an Interface. (So if this is what I need to do, please let me know) Thank you for your help figuring this out.

Hi all I’ve had Airtable for only a few days and I’m desperately trying to replicate what I’ve got in Excel, however I’m a bit stuck and hoping for some help please. It’s essentially a points lookup. Requirements Users must answer 4 yes/no questions (represented by 4 columns/fields) Each answer of Yes will add the number of points shown in table below, with the total points across the 4 fields attributed to a priority Users should only see the below 5 columns - any other fields created and used to calculate/lookup to determine the priority should not be visible to the user The priority should not be able to be edited by the user - this defeats the whole purpose In the above example, user has answered Yes to B so 10 points has been assigned in total and this results in a medium priority being assigned. Bonus Requirement A desire but not an absolute requirement is that only once the user has entered Yes or No in all 4 columns should a priority display. Summary I managed to do this a

I can’t find the place where you make feature requests so am posting here. One of my forty favorite features in Airtable (lots of favorites) is the ability to copy some or all aspects of view A’s configuration to new view B: for example, to copy field visibility, column order, but NOT copy filter. This is great. My request is: It’s great to be able to copy config, but I’d really like to be able to LINK the config. I’m finding that it’s extremely useful for most of my views to display the same fields in the same order. I’d like to be able to define a single model view, and then basically lock all the other views to a few aspects of that model view. That way, I can keep tweaking the model view and the other views will just stay “synced” without my having constantly to re-copy the config. If this wish can’t be granted, could be nice if there was an easier more efficient way to copy config of the model view to several other views. Pleez? :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi, I’m wanting to know if its possible to have a single extension access multiple bases concurrently? My situation involves analyzing more than 50k records at a time and generating a graph based on those records. I will have 15+ bases and each are identical in structure. Each base has 50k records (pro plan). General structure of those bases is listed below (or you can see the base directly). The bases I am sharing just show a few rows (not 50k) to make this problem easier to review. I know a synced table is what would generally allow you to sync multiple bases into 1. I’ve confirmed if I do that I can achieve the desired graphs/extensions in a single base (provided the record limit is not exceeded). But even with a pro plan I am limited to 50k records for the base, even if those records are synced. So this is not feasible. Is there an alternative way that would work better? Hi everyone and thanks in advance for your answers. I would like to create a form that allows the user to add info through an additional pop up form, or something similar. I need to capture my users work experience and education and would like a secondary form to pop up with fields like “graduation year”, “institution” and “qualification obtained”, etc. I would also like them to be able to add as many as they like/need rather than limiting them to a particular number. Below is an example of what I would like to do: After clicking the “Add Work Experience” link, the following would expand: I’m not sure if this is even possible in Airtable, but any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Hello everyone, I have synced two bases with a third one (country stock management purpose). The issue I have right now is that even though my product have the same SKU (primary field here), the stock levels aren’t on the same “line”. I don’t know if I am clear enough. Airtable has automatically created a new “line” so I end up with two “lines” for the same product reference. How can I change that in order to only have one? Situation The owner of the database has left the company and no longer has access to his account. We need to upgrade our plan to expand the number of entries. Hi All, I am fairly new to Airtable & Integromat/Make and am having a problem I cannot resolve. I have survey data that I am trying to import in Airtable. The problem is that when applicants select more than one option in a question, Airtable will either say “Cannot parse value” or will combine the select options and make a new select option: As you can see in the above screenshot, it is combining values under the “Program Selection” column. I want it to separate the values “Humanities at Hertog” and “Summer Course.” But instead, it is either putting a comma between the values or just putting them together with no space. I want it to mimic the example of the separated values “Summer Courses” and “Advanced Institute” in the same column. The weird thing is that in the “Alumni Program Type” column, I managed to separate the values of multiple selected options by using the following command in Make/Integromat But it’s not working with “Program Selection.” Anyone know how to resolve

There is a table optimiser script. I want a script which does exactly the opposite. I have created the records using junction script. It is convenient to create and update. Can I not do the opposite. Hi, I’m trying to send an AMP email from airtable to collect NPS form data and store that data in airtable. This form is embedded in the mail body itself so that the users don’t have to go to another page to fill in the same. Usually, I use cURL in the scripting node to send email campaigns from airtable and the Gmail node for single emails. Since this is a form it needs HTML email, which can’t be done with a scripting node. How can I use airtable to send and receive such form data, is there a solution or workaround? Please let me know if further explanation is needed.

I’m creating an invite-only job application form. When sending it to applicants, is there a way to prevent someone from sharing the form, i.e, restricted access so that only people with the provided email can open the link?

I have a Master Table “Source Table” with all our project tasks. What I want to do is set up is a way that when a task is assigned to a team member that the record for that task ALSO shows up in that team member’s table “Receiving Table” without breaking the link between the two tables so that any updates would be bi-directionally synced (e.g., the team member uses their own table and changes the task’s status from “To do” to “Completed” and that same status change shows up in the Master Table on that same record too). So far, I’ve only been able to ascertain that Airbase can do a one-directional syncing from the “source” to the “receiving” table but not back from the “receiving” to the “source” table. Why not? I’ve also figured out how to set up an automation to copy a record from the “source” table to a “receiving” triggered by a change in the person assigned, but in that case, it creates a copy that no longer syncs at all with the source once it creates the copied record. Help!

I am looking for a solution to implement fractional fields in my table. These would hopefully be also calculable. I haven’t found any questions in this regard but please send me that way if you are aware of the similar topic.

Hi all, I’m puzzled as to why the solution to the following topic, which relates directly to a project I’m tackling, is no longer viewable. Select records email with a form please ?! Views I need help with emailing selected records. i understand that you can select records and send them and this works great. I need this same function but able to have the app user / end user enter their contact information and send the records to a hard coded email address. The user also needs to be able to add comments in a field such as notes. The end result is the email should contain a copy of the selected records , a form for the user to add their contact information with the send to address a… Finally, I reached out to two community forum admins, Elza_Lambergs and Rob_Hildebrandt, and got no assistance. Hi! When I use the the dedupe extension I can select to exclude a record from the set, but when I run dedupe again another time it’s still there. Is there a way to permanently set a record as not a duplicate so that when I run dedupe I’m only seeing what is new? Thank you!!!

I have already tested the Documint solution which gives me complete satisfaction for invoice type documents, but not for estimates. In my business, a quote has a section, which describes the items proposed to the customer. This section is a table with 4 columns (description, price, quantity, etc…) A line of this table corresponds to a product. The description column of a product is composed of a title and a long description text. It happens that several products are integrated in the estimate, and thus the estimate contains several pages. My problem is that with Documint, the red header of my product section (descripton - PRICE H.T - Qty - TOTAL H.T) is repeated on a new page, if several products are integrated in the estimate… Documint has no plans to add this repetition function for the moment…When I have several products in my quote, the last products are

Hi there! I need a way to effectively view tables from multiple bases together in a “master base.” I was able to sync tables from multiple different bases together, but they are entered as individual tables within this one new base. I am not able to copy and paste them all together into one table because they are synced from an external source (the original base) so editing is not allowed. Essentially, I need to be able to see tasks from multiple projects together in order to view a high-level calendar, due dates, etc. Happy to provide more detail if necessary. Thanks!

I want to calculate a field with the “age” of people in my database from their birthday BUT there are several extra conditions, which makes it more complicated. So I need some help… (A1) For most people I have the birthday (day, month, year), e.g. 27.1.1955 (A2) But for some people I only have the birth year, e.g. 1955 (B) And for some I don’t have any birth date at all. In that case, the “age” field should remain blank. (D1) And furthermore, some people already have died and I have their death day (day, month year). For them I need to calculate the age when they died. (D2) While for some I have their death year. So the formula should calculate the age in years for people. What is that formula? I already got as far as to use this formula: IF({Birthday}=BLANK(), IF( {Died}, {Died}, {Died Year}-{Birthday Year}),DATETIME_DIFF( IF( {Died}, {Died}, TODAY() ), {Birthday}, ‘years’)) It works but not perfectly.

I took a snapshot of a base to update a new month that I was using to scan and validate our inventory with over 5000 records. I tried to create a new record on my ipad to scan a barcode to update the record, but it kept crashing and kicking me out of airtable. I finally had to go to the original base which was a month older to add these new records to capture the data. Anybody have a clue on why this is happening?

Hello, Is it possible to make a push-notification pop up on the APP icon, even when the APP is not open, like happens for emails and other chat apps? (see attached picture ) as written in the guide “These alerts are delivered through email, mobile push notifications and the bell-shaped notification icon in the app” (see screenshot) Unless I overlooked something, this bell-shaped notification icon is ONLY visible if I have the have the app open. It would be very useful to have it visible on the APP icon, ALSO when the app is NOT open. Many thanks ! Leonardo
