Our nonprofit needs some guidance, please. Can we create this search tool in Airtable? We will have a database of colleges. 4k rows 2 fields: • college name • URL of college page on a separate website. We would need to embed the search tool in our separate website via an iframe or JS. Visitor starts typing name of college. As they type, they see a shrinking list of matches. Match might not be at the beginning of what they type. For instance, if they type “Texas,” they would see all of: Texas A&M and also University of Texas. When they click a college name, that takes them to the URL for that college on our website. We could also have them click a link adjacent to the selected college’s name. If we cannot do this in Airtable, we would welcome suggestions on a no-code app that would let us do this. Hello, I use Airtable to build a simple CRM. I have a table dedicated to the client companies. (PF = String) I have a table dedicated to the contacts belonging to these companies. (PF = Autonumber…I do not have an email or a phone number for each contact) I have a table dedicated to deals (PF = String) A deal is linked to a company and a contact. I would like to be able to select a contact in my deal table, belonging to the company to which the deal is linked. In my deal table I can easily display the name of the company, which comes from the customer company table. However, when I want to choose a contact, I can only look for it by its contact_id (PF contact table)… Except that I have 2000 and I can’t know by

Hello, I have multiple typeform forms and I need to integrate all of them into one airtable table. The integration of the first typeform is OK but when I integrate the 2nd typeform form, it shows me only fields from the 1st typeform form, even though I am “connecting” from the 2nd typeform form. How can I do this?

Hi all, New user to AirTable here. I have a base set up that shows my users etc and a linked field that enables me to select a course for those users from another base. This all works fine. In the base where all my courses are stored I wish to add a count field to show how many users have a specific course assigned to them - however I can’t seem to get this to work. Hopefully the screenshots attached help. The first base has a column called ‘from delivery plan’ which is where I select the course from another base. The second screenshot is the second base with all the courses listed - I’d like to have a column which shows how many users have been assigned this course. Thanks in advance :slightly_smiling_face:

Hello, This is more like How to make a ‘single field from a synced record permanent’. But I thought that may be a confusing subject title. I am trying to use synced data and make a field permanent regardless of what happens to the initial data. Example using two bases that are manually synced (for now): Base 1 syncs properly to Base 2 and displays all the ‘active’ jobs and their ID #. I then use a formula in Base 2 which uses the JobID#. What I have noticed is that if the Job becomes ‘inactive’ (or deleted) in base 1 and I do a manual sync it will no longer show in the Base 2 table and as such it disappears from the formula. How do I convert the lookup field from Base 1 into something permanent in Base 2 that will not change? (I know there is a setting where I can leave the records in Base 2 synced table, but I do not want to have a large list if I can avoid it). I do not need it to technically ‘sync’. I just need it to get the jobID# o

I am attempting to bring in RSVP data from guests associated with a Google Calendar event. At the mapping stage on an ICS import, there is no way to bring in that kind of data. I suspect AirTable can not capture RSVP data (or Google doesn’t provide) from an ICS file so wondering if there may be workarounds?

Hi Airtable Community, I’m looking to figure out a way to create my team’s baseball lineups in Airtable and have grouped by date. I’m looking to duplicate the entire lineup and update the date field (upcoming game) all at once. Is there a way I can do this or add an automation? Below shows you how I’m looking to duplicate all the records for 9/25 and create a duplicate data set, but for 10/2. Thanks for the help!

I’m having trouble coming up with a formula that chooses the earliest of up to 12 dates with times. I’ve seen other questions that are similar but this involves times too. The Time 1 … Time 12 variables are from a lookup in another table. They might be blank. MIN( VALUE(DATETIME_PARSE({Time 1},‘MMDYYYY hh:mm’), VALUE(DATETIME_PARSE({Time 2},‘MMDYYYY hh:mm’), VALUE(DATETIME_PARSE({Time 3},‘MMDYYYY hh:mm’… ^ Fails. Thanks!

I am building a document automation app. My staff will enter client information into a form which is uploaded into Airtable. Form there, formulas will build the parts of the document and, ideally, dump them into Formstack (Webmerge). My problem comes in that when this happens, the formatting is lost. The formulas that I create for this purpose have html tags such as: <h1>, etc. The word document has these headers defined. Formstack has field mapping turned on and I have included some of their code for formatting. For instance {$variable} becomes {$variable|html2office}. Other than bolding one of the header lines, no other formatting pulls through and in the generated document, all of the lines reflect “normal” style. The document I am generating (estate planning documents) will need a number of different levels, section numbers, etc. Is there a better way to do this? Is there a way to set up a lookup field without duplicates?

For example we do surveys to our schools, and they have multiple choices as to how to answer the questions. We want to pull data based on how many students answered a specific way to a specific question. We created the questions as fields and sent the forms out. So like: “How often do you come to class prepared?” and the answers are “Never” “Sometimes” or “Often” and we would like grab what % of the students answered “Never” or “Often” etc… End result would be a pie chart that has the questions and the % of students that answered “Often” Very Often" etc… any help pulling the data as a sum or even a percentage would be AMAZING!

Hello, I’ve seen a few forums on here that address something similar but none that exactly addresses my issue or gives a clear answer. I have a series of price entries in a table called RFQ/PO Items. I have a Lookup on a table called Supplier SKUs that looks up each of the prices on the RFQ/PO Items table. I have a Lookup on the Supplier SKUs table that looks up each of the Dates on the RFQ/PO Items table. I have a Roll-up on the Supplier SKUs table that looks at the MAX(values) to return the latest Date from RFQ/PO Items. What I’d like to have is something that let’s me see just the latest Price. So, if there are three prices, $5, $8, and $6 on 1/1/2022, 2/1/2022, and 3/1/2022, respectively, I would like the rollup to return the value “$6”. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi, I’m a developper, and new to airTable. Wondering what other developers are using to build stuff with airTable. My client has a lot of data, and it is really messy. His employee are using airtable for ‘front end’ so my goal is to keep that this way. I would like to make my rest API to sort bases, lists and records in the client specs that somehow be re-injected/ deployed within airtable, in fresh new base, I might create a front end app later but that’s not the goal at this time. I have seen that, I you can create script within bases, or the airtable api there is a write back into airtable, which I understand that you need to run the app whenever you want to update ? or maybe create an automation from it ? thank you

Looking for a work around to the below, or if not currently possible please consider this to be a feature request! As far as I understand it, the way that fields are organized & viewed when a record is expanded from within the Org Chart extension are linked to the “topmost” view for that respective table. I would like the way that these fields are organized to be linked to the view that is controlling that org chart extension. The connected view already drives the filtering, and the way that records are organized at a given level for that org chart, thus it seems logical to me to also have the field organization driven by that view. I am working with a base that has multiple org chart extensions tied to the same table. These org chart extensions are providing visibility to a diversity of stakeholder (teams) and being used for different purposes. Hi everyone, I’ve got a many-to-many relationship. I have a Clients table and a Plans table. Clients have many Plans, and each Plan could be assigned to many Clients. I have a join table called Clients-Plans, so I can see all the possible combinations (for example, Client 1 + Plan 1, Client 1 + Plan 2, Client 2 + Plan 2, etc.). The problem is, my Clients-Plans table is not populated yet, and I can’t figure out a way to populate it automatically. Is manually the only way to do that? Thanks in advance.

I am embedding calendar view of a base having exam dates and assignment deadlines into my website, and providing users the option to select which subjects they want to see records. How do I change the embed URL dynamically to result in {Subject} = ‘Subject 1’ or {Subject} = ‘Subject 2’ …? The advanced filtering option is working for API but not for embed. Please help, thanks

I have 2 tables: table A contains groups and table b contains items. 1 record in table A can link to many in table B, but also 2 records in table a could link to the same record in table B. I want to score the records in each of the two tables, in order to understand and prioritise which unique combination has the highest score. So, I need a third table which is automatically generated and where each row is a distinct combination of a single record from table A and a single record from table B, where they are linked according to the above. In SQL this would be ‘full outer join’ of these 2 tables. Is this possible?
