We need to develop simple online training courses for carers : do you know with which LMS (Learning Management System) Airtable can interconnect ? Is there any you would recommend ? We have 10 projects to vote. 15 people to vote. Each one need to give a evaluation between 1 and 5 for 7 parameters with diferent ponderation. Anyone can help me?

I’m not very sure this is achievable or not. Basically I want to automatically order all records sequentially all the time even i Reorder them. I have auto-number field. when I insert new record anywhere or move existing record I want to maintain the sequence, but that was not happening in Airtable. Am I missing any formulae or anything else?

Hi guys, So I am not new to Airtable, but I certainly do not consider myself an expert. This is the first complex project I have worked on, and I am hoping to get the community’s help in building it. This is a business model template with a cash flow analysis. The goal is to enter a set of assumptions in the scenario table, and then Airtable builds a business model with these assumptions with a cash flow analysis. The area I have the most trouble with is referencing certain records that fit dynamic criteria. In this specific case here the money from sales generated in month x is collected in month x+4 Each record in the sales table is for a month with a unique month ID. I want to have every month show the sales made and the sales collected automatically based on this formula Sales Collected for Month n = Sales Made for Month n-4 I tried doing it with a rollup function, but I wasn’t able to do it without manually linking each record independently. Hello, I have an airtable dataset that includes: Customers: all the information about customers Trainings: all the information regarding each training (including the date) Inscriptions: that combine Trainings and Customers and also add extra info (e.g. how much the customer payed for the training) I want to build a Dashboard Interface where someone could state a “start date” and “end date” and the dashboard would show: All the trainings in those dates: this seems easy, just used a grid of trainings filtered by those date inputs) The total of revenue from those Trainings In the last bullet, how can I get the SUM of the revenue from all inscriptions in the trainings that are filtered by those dates? Hello everyone– UPDATE: Nvm. I FOUND IT. I am an idiot. Please ignore this post. :slightly_smiling_face: I’ve been staring at my db for a few hours now and cannot seem to find the source of a discrepancy in values. My DB stores cash advance transactions on one table for a set of customers (found on another table). To get the total of advances to display on the customer table, I simply do a rollup. HOWEVER… the rollup value is inconsistent with the total I’m getting in the other table. I’m stumped. It’s maddening. Any ideas? Screenshots are attached if they can help. *T

How can you move or transfer images in one base to another base? Without downloading to desktop each image and uploading to new base? Is there a move to feature like GoogleDocs?

Hi there! I’m trying to develop a base to manage my company’s work and break out tasks effectively. We create artistic assets for clients, where each asset involves multiple stages of production (each stage roughly corresponding to a discrete task). I’ve created in my base an “Assets” table and a linked “Tasks” table - for ease of use, I was in search of an automated way to batch create multiple records linking “Tasks” to specific assets. I found the “Create child linked records script,” which is a great solution for this. However, this script only creates empty records (excepted for the linked field) - after records are batch created, I need to go in and manually enter the stage of production for each new task record from a single-select field. I’m wondering if there’s a way to further automate this function by “templating” the script so that it creates a record for each production stage? This would be especially helpful, as we create multiple different asset types that involve differ

Hi, For a desk booking system I am looking for an app maker. The app I want to create is an visual desk booking app. Clickable available desks/seats on a 2 floor map of our building. The pointers need to be marked a colour when booked later today, or another color when free (or by a filter on a later date for that day) Is it possible to add a custom map to a Maps solution would be the most simple solution or is there another way in Airtable? I have a Table for Product Creation that is linked to individually tracked Inventory on hand with a rollup to count down available inventory left as it is used in production. So, when I get to a point in production, I need to select multiple matching ingredient records with separate record ID’s because, let’s say, I need 2.5lbs of Flour but I have a 1 Lb bag remaining and a ten Pound new bag in inventory. Using multi-select you can choose booth ingredients, but the rollup removes the value from both instead of using the last of the 1 lb. bag and then removing the remaining amount from the 10 lb. bag. So instead of having 1 bag left at 9.5 lbs. I have 2 records 1 showing -1.5 lbs. and the other showing 8.5 lbs. left. Do I want to combine first so when they are removed in the process tab there is only 1 linked record to rollup, or is there a formula to cascade a value between records?

I’m using airtable to track maintenance work orders. The issue I’m currently running into is tracking parts quantity used in a work order. A work order is a task that I assign to my technician for them to complete. When they’re assigned a work order, they’ll have to attach the parts they use to complete the work order. Right now I have a 1-1 relationship with the parts which works well when they select one part, but when they select two parts, the quantity in the Parts table is thrown off. I’ve read about junction tables and many-to-many relationships, and I’m struggling on how to get this set up. I want my technicians to still select the parts and quantity they used in a work order, and then I want my parts to get updated. For example - Work Order - Test Parts Used - Filter, Screw Quantities Used - 1, 5 This should deduct 1 filter and 5 screws from my parts table. Hello! Since 2018, I have been running the registration system for an annual week-long conference using Airtable. So far, each year of the program has been run out of a separate Airtable Base. People attend for many years and it would be nice to be able to give them a way to view all of their data accrued over the years. (There are various challenges and assessments that generate data year-to-year, and it would be beneficial to give attendees a way to see all of their data over the years.) What is the best platform to create user accounts tied to Airtable data? The users would ideally be able to sign in to a profile with a username/pw and see their data from all years of attending the conference. I know that you can sync bases and have messed around with this, but it requires all user input to be put in exactly correct, or it will not automatically find and sync records from different bases. This results in a huge manual process of finding correct matching records and correcting typos

I work with a bunch of clients and I would like to track all the projects we have received from them organized by year (i don’t need help with that part)… In addition, is there a way for airtable to track all these projects or bid created from that specific client to determine the percentage a sale would be lost or made. Or create a graph to see how the client was obtained/connected to our other clients…(referral/email/tradeshow)?

Hi guys, I currently have an Events table that shows all my Events with their Name fields and Date Fields. I need in my case to set status for each of the Event - DONE, UPCOMING, LATER. How best can I achieve this. Most of the formula’s I have tried are not giving me the required solutions.

Hi brains trust, Is someone able to assist with creating a duration formula that returns a “0:00” result when missing inputs? I need to track team processing time on a particular project and currently have the following formula inputted under column “DURATION” which works a treat if all columns are correctly filled in: {TIME PROJECT FINISHED}-{TIME PROJECT STARTED} I would like the “DURATION” column to return “0:00” when there is value in “TIME PROJECT FINISHED” but not “TIME PROJECT STARTED”, and vise-versa. This is so I can chase whoever is inputting the record to ensure they are doing so in full and correctly. I’m thinking this will be an IF/AND statement but I’ve only just got the hang of the nested IF statements so this is really pushing my working knowledge! Thank you in advance for your formulaic wizardry!

I know this has been mentioned but it’s causing me problems and I can’t find the answer. I have a base with quite a few tables. In some of the tables I can make a selection, as in drag the curser over a bunch of cells and it will select them, like it is supposed to do. In others I can’t, and I have no sorting or groups on, it just won’t let me select anything, and also won’t let me use the drag handles to populate multiple cells in a column like I usually can. There is something preventing these in certain tables and not in others but I can’t for the life of me see what it is. Would having multiple views in a table do that? I need that feature to work

I’ve starting using the web clipper extension to make it easier for our team to capture site issues in our issue tracker base. Does anyone know if it’s possible to grab user agent information (OS, browser, device info etc) when submitting a new record? I’m guessing the site would need to use a JavaScript parser like this but I’m not entirely sure.

I tried to use csv import but apparently it doesn’t support importing to long text fields. I have 1100 records I need to populate a long text field for and I would prefer to not attempt a copy and paste here with such a wide margin for error. Has anybody scripted this? I have the data to import in both xlsx and csv format, ready to go, just need to find a way to get it there intelligently and don’t see anything on the market right now.

Hello! We have a Jira cloud integration with Airtable. We are trying to get the “Find Jira Ticket” Button actually find the exact ticket in Jira. When we put the link, it only takes us to the queue and not actual ticket that it is corresponding to. Is there a formula (possibly an IF/THEN) that someone can help with? Hi Folks, I have a Zapier Zap that is working beautifully to create invoices in Craftmypdf and then email them, but I have noticed a problem. The Airtable view I get the data from has a rollup field that is a sum of charges in another table, a currency filed that contains any money due from previous months and a formula filed that adds those 2. In Zapier I use the dictionary function to assign the value in the field Due to a key, also named due but the value is no longer 51.90 but 51.900000000000006 Is Airtable passing this or is Zapier corrupting it? What can i do about it?
