Hi all, First time poster.! I am looking to import a file each day that we receive via e-mail. Using Zapier I can save the attachment to G Drive but can’t figure out how to get this data into a base as it hits the folder. I have tried using New file in G folder but you can’t see inside the file so you can’t map the data fields. I’ve converted the file to a Google Sheet to see if it was a CVS thing but same issue. Any help would be gratefully accepted.

Hi, I’ve built a website that pulls data from Airtable and displays them as custom posts in Wordpress. If a row is deleted from Airtable, it is deleted from Wordpress. If row-data is changed in Airtable, it is updated in Wordpress. All row data is stored in a custom field and can be displayed on the site using a bit of custom php. I know AirPress has been working on the same thing, although it didn’t quite fit my needs. Hello Airtable community :slightly_smiling_face: First of all, apologize if I missed something, I’ve tried to find a way -as usual- before posting here. This seems so obvious that I can hardly believe it’s not possible … or I am totally wrong about how to use Airtable ! A few months ago, when discovering AirTable, I separated things on multiple bases within our workspace. Now that I have a better understanding of our needs, I would like to gather various bases, adding new tabs … but from what I see, using “+Add or import” only allows to create an empty table or to sync data from another table. I can’t import an existing “tab” from another base. Sure I could simply copy/paste records, but doing this, I’d lose the views I set up for the tables I’d like to import. I’d need to do this all the more that I’ve recently discovered Image MarkUp extension, that we badly need, and it seems the only way to get what we want, is to get our various bases in multiple tabs.

I keep attendance with airtable. I would like my clients to be able to request a copy of their attendance and see it automatically. Ideally they would go to a website link “please show me my attendance” and it would show them their attendance for a range of dates. Is this possible? If so, how? Thank you.

I’m working on a fun, friends and family base for recording daily quiz results (Wordle etc.). The idea is that people can use an iOS shortcut to parse their score and past it to an Airtable base using the API. The eventual goal is to build a friends and family league for these types of games and maybe use interfaces to display the league. I’ve got the shortcut working for the most part in so much as I have game name, the game #, date and number of attempts to successfully get the answer working. However I thought it would be nice to bring through the visual representation of the attempts - this is the bit normally displayed using emoji. Hello. My question here is if it is possible to give access to a Record just to a few people (non-collaborators) by a shared link, and if those people can edit the same record. I don’t want those people to have access to the full database, just to a specific record within a table. Many thanks.

Greetings wise ones! I have a base to track family medical history which includes a Doctors table and a Dr Appointment table. All appointments in the Dr Appointment table are linked to a doctor in the Doctors table. This includes past appointments and upcoming scheduled ones. In the Doctors table I would like one field where the date of the next appointment is calculated and shown and one where the most recent appointment is calculated and shown. How do I write a formula/rollup that looks at only the past or only the future dates and chooses the last of the past or next of the future? I’ve created fields calculating the appointment dates from TODAY if that helps. Thank you!

Hello all! I added the pivot table extension to my base hoping I would be able to somehow extract the data I have it calculating (Avg. Weeks of Completion based on project category). Has anyone attempted this or found a way to do this? I am on the cusp of being able to use our already amazing workflow to project lead times of projects coming through based on recently completed projects. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I had an Interface that load data from client table for fill additional fields. This Interface has a record picker linked by phone field, several editable and non-editable fields. I want the Interface be able to add new client (add new record). I setup the record picker for allows new records by a form. But I can’t update record picker on Interface automatically with new record data without seaching it manually. I want that new record created by form launch from record picker updates it automatically. I ask for help me in this question.

I am using the free version with what I thought were just the basics. I am getting a notification that I have too many extensions and that they are disappearing on July 27. I can’t get a hold of anyone from Airtable. I really don’t know what extensions I am using and although I consider myself fairly tech savvy, their information on extensions is confusing.

When I’m printing view in calendar view, the words are truncated. Is there a way around this?

For example, I can’t tell the difference between the two when I use it. When can I use the timeline view or gantt view?

I have a Bikes table containing a form that collects bike details, either for bikes donated to a charity, or bikes that are repaired on behalf of customers by the charity. The view is linked to a Customer table. On my form, the first field is a ‘Bike Type’ Single Select dropdown asking ‘Donation’ or ‘Repair’. My Customer table contains a Multi Select field allowing me to specify whether the customer is a Donor, Service Customer, or both. In this Customer table, I have created two view one that filters all ‘Donors’ and one that filters all ‘Service Customers’. When I make a selection in the form field for the ‘Bike Type’ (point 2 above) for, say ‘Donation’, I’d like to show a field containing all the customers who are Donors from the Customer table. Hello! Have seen a few recommended solutions but as a total novice ( I haven’t even used Excel formulas🙈) I can’t seem to follow them. My boss uses airtable, and has made one for me in her account. It feels simple . I need to keep track of the number of hours I work each day. Hello, I use the timeline view on this table to manage my rentals : in the column “Grouped By” I have all my chambers, and each record is a reservation. The chamber are Cottage 1, Cottage 2… until Cottage 20) But, when sorted A-Z, it do not includes the numbers : Instead of : Cottage 1, Cottage 2, Cottage 3, etc… I have : Cottage 1, Cottage 2, Cottage 11… What can i do to sort the column “Grouped by” from A-Z and 1-9 ? Hi everyone, maybe its not a new question, but apparently i couldnt manage to find the answer :slightly_smiling_face: I m trying to et a Single Select field by ticking a Checkbox field in the same table, so in my understanding it has to be something like: IF Checkbox ticked THEN set Single select field to Value I am trying to automate following function: IF my client is ticking the checkbox for approval - the task should automatically set the Single select field to ARCHIVED. A column of information disappeared on a grid. Airtable revision history said I deleted it, but I only opened that grid twice and each time I close it immediately. I did not touch or edit anything on the grid.

Hi Guys, So I use Airtable as a CRM for all the incoming requested quotes via a Form on my site. Each quote get it’s unique ID which i then define as a field in Airtable. When someone fill in the form the submission an automations creates a record in two tables: Outgoing Leads Table and Archive Table. Now I want to connect both records via their ID. So if i change the data in the Outgoing Leads table of that record, than the data is automatically changed for that record (with the same ID) in the Archive Table and the other way around. So both records are connected to each other and pratically the same Is something like this possible?

Hi, I’m trying to import data from CSV into Airtable. This data is a product catalog that I want to import into Airtable to manage it there going forward. But upon uploading, I’m seeing this � character appearing in some data points and not sure why this is happening and how to fix it. Would appreciate any advice. Hello, Wonder if anyone can help with this problem. We are trying to disable ‘copy base’ in the Airtable tabs. We are using Airtable as an archiving tool for a community based project and notice that the whole data base can be copied and altered through this tab saying ‘copy base’. We would prefer it to be locked so anyone viewing does not make a mistake or accidently change our display and or database.

Hello hello ! I am trying to put infos from a Tally form (with an Airtable integration on Tally’s side) to multiple Airtable tables in one base. The issue is that Tally only authorizes infos from one form to go into one table. Sadly, so much submission are expected that help from Make or Zapier would increase greatly the cost and therefore will not be used. Is there a tweak on Airtable’s side to do this ? Thanks !

Hello. I recently deleted a base by accident. And now more than 7 days have passed. I’ve found documentation on how to restore bases within 7 days, but how can you restore after the 7 have passed? When I click on my Trash icon, I only see a message that says “Nothing has been deleted within the last seven days.” Help is greatly, greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello airtable community, i need help about the bulk import script to split attachments. the default script work as i want, but i need to customized it a bit.
