Hello all! I added the pivot table extension to my base hoping I would be able to somehow extract the data I have it calculating (Avg. Weeks of Completion based on project category). Has anyone attempted this or found a way to do this? I am on the cusp of being able to use our already amazing workflow to project lead times of projects coming through based on recently completed projects. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I had an Interface that load data from client table for fill additional fields. This Interface has a record picker linked by phone field, several editable and non-editable fields. I want the Interface be able to add new client (add new record). I setup the record picker for allows new records by a form. But I can’t update record picker on Interface automatically with new record data without seaching it manually. I want that new record created by form launch from record picker updates it automatically. I ask for help me in this question.

I am using the free version with what I thought were just the basics. I am getting a notification that I have too many extensions and that they are disappearing on July 27. I can’t get a hold of anyone from Airtable. I really don’t know what extensions I am using and although I consider myself fairly tech savvy, their information on extensions is confusing.

When I’m printing view in calendar view, the words are truncated. Is there a way around this?

For example, I can’t tell the difference between the two when I use it. When can I use the timeline view or gantt view?

I have a Bikes table containing a form that collects bike details, either for bikes donated to a charity, or bikes that are repaired on behalf of customers by the charity. The view is linked to a Customer table. On my form, the first field is a ‘Bike Type’ Single Select dropdown asking ‘Donation’ or ‘Repair’. My Customer table contains a Multi Select field allowing me to specify whether the customer is a Donor, Service Customer, or both. In this Customer table, I have created two view one that filters all ‘Donors’ and one that filters all ‘Service Customers’. When I make a selection in the form field for the ‘Bike Type’ (point 2 above) for, say ‘Donation’, I’d like to show a field containing all the customers who are Donors from the Customer table. I have done this successfully. Happy days. However, at this point I now need to add a second field for when ‘Repair’ is selected in step 2 above to then show all the ‘Service Customers’ from that View. This is not possible as it ju

Hello! Have seen a few recommended solutions but as a total novice ( I haven’t even used Excel formulas🙈) I can’t seem to follow them. My boss uses airtable, and has made one for me in her account. It feels simple . I need to keep track of the number of hours I work each day. Hours vary, but as an example: Column 1 - clock in 9 am Column 2 - clock out 5.15pm Column 3 - number of hours worked Please can someone help ? Many thanks Vic

Hello, I use the timeline view on this table to manage my rentals : in the column “Grouped By” I have all my chambers, and each record is a reservation. The chamber are Cottage 1, Cottage 2… until Cottage 20) But, when sorted A-Z, it do not includes the numbers : Instead of : Cottage 1, Cottage 2, Cottage 3, etc… I have : Cottage 1, Cottage 2, Cottage 11… What can i do to sort the column “Grouped by” from A-Z and 1-9 ? Hi everyone, maybe its not a new question, but apparently i couldnt manage to find the answer :slightly_smiling_face: I m trying to et a Single Select field by ticking a Checkbox field in the same table, so in my understanding it has to be something like: IF Checkbox ticked THEN set Single select field to Value I am trying to automate following function: IF my client is ticking the checkbox for approval - the task should automatically set the Single select field to ARCHIVED. A column of information disappeared on a grid. Airtable revision history said I deleted it, but I only opened that grid twice and each time I close it immediately. I did not touch or edit anything on the grid.

Hi Guys, So I use Airtable as a CRM for all the incoming requested quotes via a Form on my site. Each quote get it’s unique ID which i then define as a field in Airtable. When someone fill in the form the submission an automations creates a record in two tables: Outgoing Leads Table and Archive Table. Now I want to connect both records via their ID. So if i change the data in the Outgoing Leads table of that record, than the data is automatically changed for that record (with the same ID) in the Archive Table and the other way around. So both records are connected to each other and pratically the same Is something like this possible?

Hi, I’m trying to import data from CSV into Airtable. This data is a product catalog that I want to import into Airtable to manage it there going forward. But upon uploading, I’m seeing this � character appearing in some data points and not sure why this is happening and how to fix it. Would appreciate any advice. Hello, Wonder if anyone can help with this problem. We are trying to disable ‘copy base’ in the Airtable tabs. We are using Airtable as an archiving tool for a community based project and notice that the whole data base can be copied and altered through this tab saying ‘copy base’. We would prefer it to be locked so anyone viewing does not make a mistake or accidently change our display and or database.

Hello hello ! I am trying to put infos from a Tally form (with an Airtable integration on Tally’s side) to multiple Airtable tables in one base. The issue is that Tally only authorizes infos from one form to go into one table. Sadly, so much submission are expected that help from Make or Zapier would increase greatly the cost and therefore will not be used. Is there a tweak on Airtable’s side to do this ? Thanks !

Hello. I recently deleted a base by accident. And now more than 7 days have passed. I’ve found documentation on how to restore bases within 7 days, but how can you restore after the 7 have passed? When I click on my Trash icon, I only see a message that says “Nothing has been deleted within the last seven days.” Help is greatly, greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello airtable community, i need help about the bulk import script to split attachments. the default script work as i want, but i need to customized it a bit. I have created a Form to collect Customer data but the need for an Email address field to be ‘Required’ is conditional on the selection of a previous field. Is this something one is able to set, or is a field simply Required or not? Thanks!

I don’t understand why my account has been deactivated, what can I do now, all my business data is on it, I have not received any notification from Airtable about it this. In the worst case how can I download my data and transfer to Google Sheet or Excel to work? Hello! Context I am trying to develop a base to effectively manage project management and task delegation for my company. We create art assets for clients, where each asset goes through multiple stages of production before final delivery. This is somewhat standard project management, where each “Asset” roughly corresponds to a “Project” and each stage of production corresponds to a “Task.” We offer a semi-specific menu of asset types, so each asset type may also have different stages of production (and therefore, different associated “tasks”). Hello, I have a base as an owner with three editors and about thirty collaborators. I have been using it for about a year now, and suddenly, out of nowhere, my owner ID has been deactivated and I cannot log in or find out what could have caused the issue. If it’s a billing problem, then I cannot seem to pay what I need to. I simply just cannot have access to my ID! It’s extremely frustrating :cry:

Hello, I am currently using the trial version of AirTable on the web app, however, I’ve created a database and have some information entered already. I want to start applying formulae, but the formula fields are always greyed out, and I am unable to type in them. Is there something limiting my usage of formulae? Thanks in advance

I’m trying to automate my purchase process, wherein after purchase, someone can simply sign up for AT and click on “copy base” at the top right of the screen (I’ve seen this many times with bases I’ve copied on developer sites for examples). My current process makes it so that the client has to wait for me to manually send it to them and it would “automate” the process by the client doing this themselves. Can someone please share how this is done? I can’t find it

Is there a way to make an interface view static, or “archived” so it doesn’t update say after a certain date? There’s probably a better way to say this, help please!
