I’m wondering if it’s possible to create a field in a form that is “information only”. That is, it does not have a place for the user to reply or take action? e.g. I have created a registration form and I want to give some extra information about my event. But I do not need the user to choose an answer or give any input. I guess I am asking if there is something like a “null” field type.

Hello! I’m looking to create a “Daily Company Dollar Report” using interfaces. So far it’s been great showing projected and closed orders and revenue and popular servies… however, I just realized these will show “to date” records. We would like to look at this daily to see where we are for the month. Is there a way to filter the elements to show me records from x/1/2022 to x/31(28 or 30)/2022 to show THIS month’s status?? I see you can filter “in the past month” but if I’m on 6/15, that’ll show me data from 5/15-6/15 not 6/1-6/15. I don’t want to have to update the filter every month either… a “since beginning of the month” to “end of the month” would be GREAT, but I don’t see that filter or work around just yet. Thank you!

I’ve tried multiple times and I’m still stuck so I’m hoping this community can help. I have a bunch of tables in a base. The main one is called Leads & Clients. There is another called Waitlist which also has a form view. LC has a field called ‘status’ and Waitlist has a question asking ‘have we worked together before?’ I have it set up where a new form submission triggers an automation that creates a new client record in LC if one doesn’t already exist for that client or it just updates one that’s already there. And the automation links the two records across both forms. This is where I’m stuck… I want the status in LC to change to ‘lead’ if someone says no on the Waitlist form to the question asking if we’ve worked together before. Any insight?

Hi everyone, When looking at the data loaded by the airtable website, I see that at least a frame is loaded from Doubleclick.net: I’m surprised to have this advertising business loaded into a app like Airtable, which business model is not about personal data. Am I the only one concerned about this ? What is the doubleclick element purpose ? Thanks for your answers !

Hello Airtable Friends, Does anyone know how to have the actual ‘number of records’ amount show in the middle of the Donut chart block? Let’s say I have a form integration connection to Airtable. When someone submit the form, an array of product IDS will be inserted into the product_ids field like [3294239423, 3873298293] (a long text field). Is there a way to use this array to lookup for products, using those ids?

Hi There, Seeking some assistance on how to use the rollup function. I have two tables, one where all the actual data exist ie number of opportunities, one line per opportunity. Can be multiple in a single day. We have a status column to indicate what stage the opportunity is at and in this case i want to rollup status “funded” for a date range…for example month to date. I have setup a table that has my forecast and for each day what the running MTD target is. What i wish to do is measure for each day the difference between Actual funded for the MTD figure against the forecast for corresponding period. Example setup is attached but is showing zero so not working. Look forward to hear of solutions. Cheers

Hi all, I’m using Rollup to find the latest date in a custom CRM. The Max(values) approach always works fine, but in this instance I cannot select “date” as an option under the format menu in Rollup. Any ideas? Many thanks in advance! Cheers, M

I want to send an email to group of people without everyone knowing that they are in a mass group email. I would like to BCC everyone but I am forced to put an email in the “To” section. Is there a way around this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Lets say I have two tables: Tasks Projects Tasks can be linked to one project. When I have a Project open, I’d like to navigate to a view of Tasks which is filtered by that Project. Preferably with one click. Is that possible somehow?

Hi, So I’m wondering how I would show a cumulative count using the Chart app. Currently the count of my variable is shown across the date on the x-axis, but instead of showing the count for each date, what I’d like to display is the cumulative count to better see the growth. Is there a straightforward way to do this? Thanks in advance

Inside Airtable (Pro Plan), I click on Help > Message Support. There is no form that pops up, but a blue square with an x pops up. I can click it and it disappears. In Chrome, I do not have pop ups blocked. Is there another way to message support? Thanks in advance.

Help! I have a project with a lot of people who need to view, so I have been sharing the publicly shared base view. Now it’s failing to work and saying “Login expired - please re-login.” (Sometimes it’s just saying “Invalid_Auth_Token.”) It’s the public link though, so it doesn’t need a login. Does anyone have any solutions for this or know why it’s suddenly happening? Thanks in advance! ETA: It turns out you can just move the error box to the side and use the base, so that’s what I’m telling my users to do. But super lame?!? Can anyone help me get rid of this bug?

I have a field that contains either a single date, or a list of dates separated by comma. 2022-08-21 2023-05-01, 2023-06-01 I want to create two formulas: One that extracts the first date and compare it to another One that extracts the second date and compare it to another To do so, I first need to extract the date, and that’s where I’m stuck at the moment. I tried IF( REGEX_MATCH(dates & '', '^(\\d{4}-)(\\d{2}-)(\\d{2})'), REGEX_EXTRACT(dates & '', '^(\\d{4}-)(\\d{2}-)(\\d{2})'), BLANK() ) But I don’t get the expected result: 2023-05-01, 2023-06-01 > returns 2023- (expected 2023-05-01) I used Regex101 which made me assume this would work fine, I also checked on the forum and tried many variations but I don’t get it.

Hello- Does anyone know of you can create a button that acts as a page jump to a specific record or place within the dashboard? Meaning: Button is clicked and then it automatically jumps via a preset filter to let’s say “Design Review”. By passing all of the other information that may not be relevant to me. Thanks! Scott

Hello everyone, new airtable user here. I’m trying to manage my projects using airtable. So I’ve created a simple base with clients, projects, and todos. Now I want to share it with my teammates and clients. One thing I’m finding very difficult is sharing a base with restricted view access. First, I don’t want my collaborators to see data in the clients table. I only want to share the todos table, I checked every sharing option, but I don’t think there is a way to share only a table. Also, I want to share a view with editor access with my client; so the client can check the progress and add or remove tasks as they please. With my brief time with airtable, I don’t think I can do either of these. Am I missing something here? or is my setup or thinking wrong?

Hello! I found this post: Help tracking check in/out equipment for our small video studio using barcodes - and started to build our own equipment inventory check out/check-in system (thank you Ben.Young for creating this!). I’m looking to expand this further to allow checking out of equipment bundles. Currently, our base has “Individual Equipment” and we’d like to have Equipment Bundles as an option as well. We’d like the option to either check out individual equipment or an equipment bundle (and every individual equipment within that equipment bundle would also be checked out and not available when that bundle is checked out but then available when that bundle is checked back in). I started to try this on as a separate table but got stuck - would love any help with this! Here’s our current Airtable Base:

Hi! Hoping if anyone can give me a few pointers, I wanted to create a unique description to a record when linked with another record in another table. The field in the original table is allowed to link multiple records. So… In Table1 it is a link record to Table2. When the user links a record in Table1 to one of the fields in Table2, I want them to populate some description thats unique to the Table1/Table2 connection. Asking the support I have been told this is not possible, but potentially I could script this somehow, but not sure how to do this? Not looking for the specific script but if anyone can give me an idea as to how to do it, would be very helpful! Thanks

Hi everyone. I am trying to calculate a due date based on a specific date minus number of days before. Example: The master Date of a trip is 10/01/2022. I have a column (DAYS BEFORE TRIP) where I enter the number of days that a specific task needs to be done before the trip. I have another Column (DUE DATE) that lists the due date based on that calculation. I need a formula that basically does this… 10/01/2022 - (DAYS BEFORE TRIP) = Due Date So let’s say I need to book airfare 30 days before the trip. In the DAYS BEFORE TRIP field I would enter 30. My formula with then would calculate and display 09/01/2022 as the due date. There are so many tasks that I don’t want to have the trip date listed every time so I want to embed the actual date in the formula. I hope this makes sense. Thanks for your help!

When creating a record, in a table such as an Opportunity, and the Company has been entered (related/lookup table), how do you display a field based on the Contacts related to the Company - in a drop-down menu - to pick a single or multi value

Hi, Just wondering if there is anything available that allows users to search for a specific form using all of the fields within the database? Similar to the filter function but I don’t believe that will be user friendly for most people. The standard search plugin isn’t good enough for what I am trying to achieve. Is there anything on the website that I have missed that allows for this? It’s like form functionality but instead of adding to the database it will return results that match. Cheers
