Anyone got any thoughts on exporting a WordPress database to Airtable? I’m contemplating moving a large personal site to Airtable as a CMS. I would want to export my posts, as well as their corresponding images. CSV: There are several ways to export WordPress posts to CSV, eg. the plugin WP All Export. But the CSV obviously wouldn’t contain the image files, just references to the URLs at which they would be retained. MySQL: Then there is the reality that WordPress posts (and users etc) are essentially in a MySQL database. Maybe MySQL to Airtable? Again, though, this would not include image files - they are just files in folders. I wonder if I should be thinking about bringing images into Airtable at all. Maybe okay to leave them on the web server, or even store in something like AWS, then just store references like URLs in a base. Thanks.

Hi Airtable community, this is the first thread I’ve created. I’ve built an entire platform for my company (https://mtilive.io) with Airtable at the center of it all, and it’s working great. I’m hoping for a little help with one aspect of it - I’ve created an airtable automations script and designed it to “throw new error” if certain conditions are not met. It’s working as intended, however, I find the process of getting the detail about the error to be far from ideal. What I’d love to do is replace the very generic “Failed to run” text in the run history with something actually meaningful to me about the specific error that was thrown. Anyone know if that’s possible? If not, I would also be fine with putting error text into the panel that expands when you click the horizontal triangle next to “Failed To Run”. I tried using output.text(“can you see me”) on the hope that it would appear there, but I actually couldn’t figure out where that goes, or if there are any other methods to do th

Hi, Need some help with a scenario in Integromat, after breaking an array of elements using an “Iterator module”, I have created many records using this subgroup of elements by a “Create a record” module. Then I want to send an email using Gmail module “Send an email”. But I want to insert this group of elements as an array in the email content. I tried to modify the scenario, but what I managed to do is send emails as much as elements I have and not a unique email containing all the elements. Hi there AT Brain-trust, I’m building out a pipeline dashboard using Airtable for my company, and I want to be able to show essentially a comparison of what the data was last month compared to what it is this month. For example, I would want my dashboard to read something like: Number of Opportunities (Current): 1 interest, 3 submitted proposals, 5 won, 2 lost Number of Opportunities (As of 30 days ago): 2: interest, 2 submitted proposals, 4 won, 1 lost I’m sorted on the current opportunities using the current state of data. I am also aware there are ‘snapshots’ of data that I can retrieve but not download (is that still true?). Even if the snapshot was downloadable, it doesn’t seem to be a very elegant solution because it means creating two sources of data. Fields I have that might be useful here: Date Created (record) Date Modified (record) Date Status Changed (i.e. when a user updates the opportunity stage, it triggers a date update in this field) Would really appreciate any tip

Hey. Thank you in advance or your help on connecting data between two tables. Linked records does not seem to apply here, but maybe I’m missing something. I am using Airtable to track disciplinary data for a school. We have two tables, one to track Pink Slips, and a second to track historical Disciplinary Cases. The first table “Pink Slips”, is where new pink slips are entered, using a primary field of a sequential ID assigned by Airtable for each new pink slip. One of the fields in this table is “Student ID”. The second table, “Cases” contains a historical record of all disciplinary cases (some resulting from pink slips), akin to a court case, with all data related to the resulting actions, dates, etc… The primary field in this table is “CaseID”. All of the data in the “Cases” table is imported from a school database, and also contains a “StudentID” field. For reasons that i would rather not get into, the two tables cannot be merged into one. I am trying to make a simple inventory of 50+ items I have one table called Inventory which has columns “Name” and “Quantity”. I would let other people borrow my inventory, so there are a lot of ins and outs. Anyway, On occasion, I need to do an Audit of my inventory, so I want to make sure that my personal inventory matches with the global inventory system. So what I would do is download the global inventory and put that into the Airtable as a separate table called Global Inventory. This table would also have columns “Name” and “Quantity”. I was thinking to create a “Global Inventory” column under the Inventory table and use the formula that would compare the two tables “Name” and output the Global Inventory Number so I can easily see if it matches or not. I guess this would be like reconciling a bank transaction in a way. Any help would be much appreciated. I know how to do this in Excel with SUMIF but again, this is not the same here.

Airtable newbie here so apologies in advanced for a potentially very easy and obvious question. I am making a marketing dashboard which I want to calculate the amount and quality of leads we are getting from each lead source (fb, google, website e.t.c.) I have made a grid which shows every lead which comes in, I am tracking many details of this lead such as lead source, whether the lead produced a sale, if we had a call with the lead, lead quality e.t.c. What I would like to make is a table which has the lead source on the y axis and on the x axis, I can have total leads, calls had, good leads, bad leads. I would like Airtable to calculate how many ‘total leads’ ‘leads which led to sales’ ‘calls from leads’ per lead source. I hope this makes sense. Thanks in advanced.

We received a notification recently of changes to Airtable attachments that are coming soon. As I understood it, attachment links will expire rather than be always accessible to others unless you are directly logged in. We make and distribute films The only attachment we share in views via links with our buyers is cover art for our movies. Can anyone tell me if this means after awhile my buyers won’t be able to see the art anymore? We sometimes include URL Fields in our views with trailer and/or screener links. Will these expire on shared views as well? Thank you in advance.

First column has a date called “Goods Received” Est Complete is the formula column which should be a new date based on this day plus 60 days. I keep getting an error message, but I can’t see the problem with this syntax. I hope someone can tell me where I’ve gone wrong. Thank so much! dateadd({GoodsReceived},+60,‘days’)

Hey there, i am new to Airtable and have only understood half of the features yet. As I had to learn, that it is not possible to hide views from specific users, I found the sync feature. I do have a database with a lot of personal information about people living I a camp. I was trying to find a way to give some of my users (in this case security guys) the ability to put in the date of the last Covid Test of a person. As this does not work in one base (because I can not hide views) I have done a sync to another base of al relevant information. Is there a way I can let a limited amount of users change information in one or two rows, without letting them see all the rows and letting them change all the rows? Right now I can only see the information in my synced base, but not alter them. Thx for any hint.

I have a contacts tab with all of my customers and their contact information. I’d like to add a ‘sales rep’ column. The sales rep information is on my second tab, interactions. Every time my sales rep enters an interaction for one of my customers multiple times, their name shows up multiple times on the contacts tab for that customer. I just want the sales reps name to show up once. I’ve attached an image to help illustrate what I’m talking about. Any help would be appreciated.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but it appears to me that Airtable does not scale well at all with a maximum record limitation of just 100,000? Thus, it is not suitable for many businesses with a certain size. What other software would you use in cases that you need to scale and more records? I will still use Airtable personally and for certain things, but unfortunately I cannot use it business wide due to the limitations.

Hi, I’m Pablo from Argentina! My query is how do you handle changes in production for a client? When we develop a base for a client and transfer the base to him. We are left with test data; and the client no longer wants us to see the real data of him… If he later asks us to make changes, I can work with the test base that I have left; but at the moment of passing these changes to production, how do I do it? Thanks!

Our (Duda) website was recently transferred to a new administrator, as was Airtable however since that transfer changes in Airtable are no longer showing reflected on the website.

Hey Community :wave: Newbie :baby_chick: here! I have a tab of event submissions and a separate tab tracking prize payouts. I am trying to create a pivot table where I can look at payouts in multiple ways (by event, month, quarter, etc.) For the most part, the table works great, except there is an ‘Empty’ row I can’t figure out how to fix. For example, in one view, column A has event names and subsequent columns are for each month (column B - Jan, column C - Feb, etc) and the cell values indicate total $$ paid. I can’t for the life of me figure out how to link those ‘Empty’ ones to their proper events so they do not appear as Empty. The only difference I can see between the ones that show properly and those that don’t is an ‘Event’ field in the record that shows name of event (which looks to be linked to a calendar). The odd thing is that if I look at that calendar, I see the ‘missing’ event there, but for some reason it’s not showing up on the list for me to tag… Hope that sounds

Please help. I am not well versed on airtable but I am on Google Sheets. I decided to try airtable for our main sheet (I work with a large dog rescue organization) and have been using the airtable version ever since. But I now find it much easier to use Google sheets for my needs and want to convert the entire airble - which includes aout 8 tabs back to Google sheets. I have tried a couple of things with no success. Am very confused and frustrated. Please help!!!

Hello community. I have a bank statement, inside it I have the words “deposit”, “payment”, etc… I need to populate a single select field based on the content of the text field. It should work like this: IF i find the word “deposit”, select “Income” on single select field IF I find the word “payment”, select “Outcome” on single select field Makes sense? Can anyone help me? Continuing the discussion from Formula to choose Earliest Date from list of 6 dates: I am trying to adapt the latest solution from @kuovonne regarding comparing dates and finding MIN or MAX. However I am trying to have some filters to include or not include these dates to compare. In other systems I can use Collect function to determine if a value should be considered or not in this comparison, but im not sure how to do here. I have a table of records, where each record is a product. Each product record has numerous fields associated with different types of purchase orders (8 different order types) and their respective due date, review status, and an approval status. Review status is managed by a variety of team members and indicates if its ready for review or waiting on something. Approval Status is managed by management to track approval status or N/A. I am trying to look at these 8 orders per product, and: 1 column have the date of the earliest order due that is OR review status

Anybody else having issues lately (for the past month or so) having notes edited on the mobile iOS app not getting synced and having the records properly updated? Whenever I make edits on mobile, when I check the record later, all my modifications show up as a blank piece of text. Within the past day or so, checking any notes just crashes the app. Running fastest version of AirTable as of today, 7.5.1 on iOS.

Hey everyone, When sending Outlook calendar invites from an Airtable Automation, the Organizer (From address) is some random email address and not the account connected to the automation. Does anyone know how to change this so that it displays the account it was sent from please? See attached example

Is it possible to prefill an attachment field in a form? I am trying to create a form with two attachments (csv’s) but I want to prefill the first attachment field so the user can see the csv, download it and then upload their editted csv, then submit the form.

I am looking to merge two of the same contacts with Dedupe that have different information but when using Dedupe it shows the two contacts and makes me pick one to use and the other to delete. How do I merge them so there is one contact with all the information.

This feels quite complicated for what I thought would be a straight forward process. Create a Google Doc from template. Create a share link to attach to the Airtable record, the “download document”-step doesn’t work for Airtable. Download a document as PDF to attach to Gmail. Neither step 1’s export/PDF link nor step 2’s share link work for Gmail. Update the record with the attachment and load existing other attachments. Iterate through the attachment field records. Download attachments. Here I’m lost how to set filenames, it’s all file.pdf… Array aggregate with target structure attachments. Send email. Hi, I’m struggling to implement the best to link records. How do I link records on 2 tables where I want to link records that match entries on 2 columns? In SQL, we can do join by matching 2 variables. But in airtable, we can only create linked records from 1 column. Thanks.
