Once you have setup your settings in the Dedupe app, is there a way to just have it apply the same pattern to ALL the rest of the duplicates? If you have hundreds of duplicates, it’s imposible to do this one by one.

Pour la mise en forme, lorsqu’on sélectionne un champ pour modifier sa taille par exemple, c’est la valeur de la précédente sélection qui reste affichée. Je ne sais pas si je suis très clair, pas facile à expliquer : je sélectionne un champ qui est en “taille 13” pour le modifier en “taille 16” lors de la sélection du champ suivant pour effectuer la même opération, le champ s’affiche en “taille 16” alors qu’il est toujours en “taille 13” et c’est vraiment pénible… déjà que Page Designer n’est pas très ergonomic ça le rend carrément ingérable. Hello all, I am trying to track hours on equipment in my base and seem be having an issue getting the result I would like due to my lack of knowledge in formulas. I am going to break this down into sections. Where I get my data, I have integrated my Jotform with my base for inspection sheets on heavy equipment and have it assigned to fill a table called Inspections. everything in this section works perfect and i collect all the data from the forms. What I am trying to do. One of the columns I am trying to track is the Engine hours column which is located in the Inspection table. each piece of equipment in the inspection table can have multiple inspections a day. I am trying to track it in another table called Equipment Log which each piece of equipment is automated to link to its inspection record. I have tried using Rollup to Sum the total Engine Hours the unit has been inspected to have. the problem I am facing is the inspector only has to put the

Does anyone have any advice for how to create a filtered view of data I have that only keeps the oldest date of a “group” of records? I have a table where a product iD can show up multiple times but have different data for it depending on another unique field (a batch of the product). But, I need to have a view that only keeps the oldest batch. I have a date field attached to each batch. Any ideas?

I have designed a simple table for the dismissal in our school. On one tab I have “Today dismissal” On the second tab I have 25 inputs : each line has a homeroom name and an image attached to the homeroom. The second tab is also attached to the first one. I have then from tab one created a form where we can select the homeroom with a drop down menu. I have also a view that shows ONLY the new entries based on a simple criteria: the date (today). I am then sharing this view so the security guard a the school gate can see from his iPad set up to refresh every 5 seconds the homerooms ready for dismissal and call the parents in. What i would like to do: If i sleeve homeroom x today, homeroom x is not available anymore from the drop down menu just for today. So i can see in my drop down when all the 25 classes have already been selected. The following day, because it’s day+1, all the 25 homerooms are still available in the drop down menu. How can I do

I have a multiple choice single select question and each answer is a couple of sentences long so the end words are cut off. Is there any way to extend the character limits for options? If not, is there a suggested workaround so I can allow my clients to read the full description of the option? Thanks!

Hi there! I’ve set up the following formula in an effort to show either the data that is entered into the ‘Invoice Contact Overwrite’ field, or if that is blank, then to show whatever is in the ‘Company’ field. IF({Invoice Contact Overwrite}!=BLANK(),{Invoice Contact Overwrite},Company) This formula has been applied to a field called ‘Invoice Contact’, that’s where I want the result to show. In this case, the formula is only showing data that has been entered into the ‘Invoice Contact Overwrite’ field and for anything that doesn’t have any data, it is showing as blank, rather than adding the Company name. Am I missing something? We use a variation of this formula to create a ‘Final Fee’ by showing whatever is in our ‘OS Fee’ field, but if our ‘Fee Overwrite’ field has data entered, then the ‘Final Fee’ is updated to whatever is reflected in the ‘Fee Overwrite’ field. This works perfectly. See formula example below. I

I want automate the creation of pre-filled fields with the script app. I’ve been able to run that successfully for basic ‘text strings’. But now I’m trying to add data to a field that is formatted with ‘duration format’ and I haven’t been able to make it work. Hi, I have created a table with fields as Name, Phone Number, Address, etc. And have added data into it. The requirement is I want to create an generic edit form for this table to update the data in it, In this Edit form I’ll be having a text box that takes in Phone number as input and as soon as I enter Phone number .Using the Phone number I added it has to query through the table and find the record having same phone number and fill the edit form with the data of the record that was found. Ex: Now here as soon as I enter phone number, the fields Name and address should fill with the record data that was found with the phone number entered. Is there any way to do this?

I want to change a date field to a create date in a base that already has records in the base. When I do that, all the dates in that field get converted to today’s date. Is there a workaround to have today’s date added to a field when a new record is created without modifying the existing dates in the field?

Hi there, I have given “comment” access to a base to a number of people and pay for that a few hundred euro a month (the base is on a Plus plan). My impression is that most commentators are inactive - meaning I am spending money for nothing. Where can I see that date of last activity per collaborator? Thank you Ursula

Hi Everyone. I am a teacher and just started using Airtable to create a music curriculum for my students and then want to use the forms view to track student grades and assessment. I have created all my tables and finally created a form view for my assessment grading. When I go to select the assessment I am going to be giving (“Level 1 - Bronze”) I want to be able to see more information about that particular assessment. For example, I want it to also include what book its in as well as the page number and exercise number (all information I have in listed in the table - I can see it when creating the form but then I add lookup fields on the form and they say that they are read only and don’t show up on the form). Basically, I want to be able to select the assessment but see more identifiable info on that assessment when I select it to make sure I a selecting the right one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the day of payment (PayDay value). and that the next payment will be after 1 month. I need formula which generates date of next payment, In correlation based with today, I have to pay either this month or next (the formula decides) there are some peculiarities If the payment date of the current month has already passed, PayDayToPayDate is before today, then add a period of +1 month to the date. OK I solved my task with US Date Format and it works well no bugs there. But EU is bugged - it increases value of month instead of day value. Am I making a mistake in the formula? Happy weekend all! So I have built myself two awesome automations: Creates 10 tasks for each record added Email me the list of ‘tasks’ for each new record added So when I ran the 1st automation it ran flawlessly! It was #2 that boogered me all up! It sent 10 emails for each new record… each with all 10 tasks listed beautifully! PROBLEM/OPPORTUNITY: The issue I am running into is that the 1st automation is running from where the new record lives. I found that if I add the ‘send email’ option with the same trigger, it emails an empty list (I’m guessing because it is sending the email before the list is populated). I’m sure this is an easy one, but Its been a loooong week already. As always, thanks for your time! DG

We are trying to find the easiest way to setup a date time stamp field, that is, either when creating a new record or triggered by filling in one of the others cells in a new record. that time/date stamp field is populated with the current date and time and it would be static, that is, would not update to tomorrows date if it is accidentally clicked again. What is the easiest way to do this?

Is there a way to calculate a rank based on the value of a field? For example, if the field is Total Sales, I can sort in descending order by this field, but can I create a formula that gives me the rank of each person in another field?

Hello :slightly_smiling_face: I would appreciate help regarding my case. I have two bases, Base “A” and Base “B”. In base A I have records that include documents in the attachment field. There can be more than one document in the same attachment field. I want to accomplish that when a new document is uploaded in Base A, a new record is created in Base B including the document that has been uploaded in Base A. This would result in having a new record in Base B, each time there is a new document uploaded in Base A. Does anyone have an idea of how I can make this work? Thank you, Pjero

I’m exporting CSV’s from Airtable and have introduced some fields which represent HTML code. This data is imported into wordpress blocks. I need to use commas in the text. Here’s an example: ''&'<p style="text-align: center;">For a local, reliable & friendly service call our <strong>'&Locality&'</strong> hotline today</p>' In this example the software that parses the CSV delimits the data on the , after the word “local” as you might expect (even when enclosed by quotes). No problem, I’ll use the unicode version of “,” which is , and then the commas won’t exist in teh output but will still show correctly when output as HTML … … but no, Airtable does an outstanding job and converts the unicode to a “,” and outputs it in the CSV as a “,” :frowning: It also does the same thing with #comma and other variants I’ve tried. Does anybody know of
