Hi Guys, Is there a way for deleting a record across two bases using a trigger? The watch record trigger in integromat only detects for created and last modified record/field. I would love to have a watch trigger that detects deleted record as well. For example, if I delete a record in Base1, it would automatically delete same record on Base2. Is there a workaround for this? Thanks,

So I have a table called “US states”, which other tables have linked fields to. One issue I encounter often is that when I have a form in a different table and add a field called “Select state”, which is linked to the “US States” table, I often have people who fill out the form start typing in the state and accidentally insert a new State (sometimes misspelled or sometimes just the abbreviation) thereby creating a new record in the linked “US States” table. Is there a way that a linked field in a form restrict creation of new records and only allow users to select from the list of linked records?

Good Day, I am looking to run a scenario through Airtable where a webhook activates an integromat scenario, which creates a to-do in Basecamp. My issue is that I am having a problem uploading the images to that to-do. All that comes through is the URL. Has anyone had any experience with this?

Hello, I am wondering how you can prefill a form where the field type is “Checkbox”. For instance, I have a Contact Info form I send new clients. I have two Checkbox fields that I do not want them to see but would be helpful for me to be checked. When checked, mark the client as being an Active Account and an Active Contact. Field Names “Act. Acc.” “Act. I have a field for employee names created. It’s a single select field with all their names available to choose. Right next to it I have an email field. I’d like it if when I choose a name, their email address automatically populates in the field next to it. Can someone help me figure out how?

Hi, I am new to Airtable and I am trying to migrate my studio’s crate inventory (crates contain artworks that we ship to museums and then back to us). We used an excel sheet unto which we had a ‘‘history’’ box. That is where we’d manually list all the previous locations with the years of where a specific crate had been shipped before returning to us. Is there a clever/simple way to keep track of such info in Airtable? Like a tab that keeps track of each crate’s previous locations when we update its current location? I hope this makes sense, thanks y’all!

Hi! I’m working on setting up a long-running {Task Due} date formula field that will eventually span across multiple years. The {Task Due} date is already successfully calculating a variable workday amount prior to the {Key SR Date} (the date of the actual event) using negative values found in the {Days Out} field. I’ve created an IF set up to accommodate some of the {Days Out} are 0, where I want the output to be the same as the input. Here’s the formula I’ve got going successfully: IF(({Days Out}=0), {Key SR Date}, (WORKDAY({Key SR Date}, {Days Out}))) Now, I want to factor US holidays (and specifically a string I made for my company’s holiday list). I created a separate table with a {Reference Year} and a {Holiday String} field so that I can create a string for 2022, 2023, etc. I’ve used lookup fields on the current table so that the correct Reference Year is applied to each record, and it displays the applicable {Holiday String} from the other table. I’m having a trouble connecting rest API for one of the tables that collects sales data for my business. Since I cannot share streaming graphs of this data in airtable with my partners, I would like to bring in airtable data to power BI so that I and my partners can look up the situation at any time. I have connected google, facebook, google sheets etc. to this service however, airtable is the only one that I’m having a big issue. Given the API URL : https://api.airtable.com/v0/[base ID]/[table ID]?Api_key=[your api key], I have tried so many method to connect in power BI, It doesn’t work. not to mention there is paid service out there that specialize connecting airtable and power BI only. I want to create a multiple select field and on the form limit the number of selections. As an example, there would be 10 possible choices but I want the respondent to select five, no more or less. Can this be done in Airtable?

We have created an Airtable in our company that will be used for employees to log their monthly caseload recertifications so we can better track them. They will be entering and updating their recertification on a daily basis. however, we later realized that there is no built in privacy for our employees to use airtable and prevent them from seeing each other’s performance. it isn’t a welcome feature because we know that there is a risk to having everyone see how you are performing on an individual basis–can create a toxic culture. the new interfaces feature looks promising as a solution, i was wondering if anyone has a recommended workaround? Hi I have created an automation where by changing the status of a record it will create a new record on a new table. In this instance it’s a record in a dealflow and then by changing the status is will then create an entry in a task flow table. When I then update the status in the task flow table it doesn’t update the status in the original dealflow table, how can I make this happen? What I ultimately would like to happen is that my task flow table will only display entries that have a certain status and that this status is updated in all other tables this entry is shown on Thank you

Hi, is it possible to limit a table such that a new entry can ONLY be created through a form and NOT through gird view or any of the other views? The problem i’m trying to solve is to make sure that all the relevant data is entered. this can be done with a form but people can create an entry in grid view and not fill out every important field. thanks Kind regards

Hi, In my main table I have field “id” and “sorting Group”. Second table with fixing problems and “sorting group”. that has views according to the “sorting Group” field. I want to add a field in the main table that will have Allow linking to multiple records & Limit record selection to a view BUT will take each tiime different view from the second table accourding to record “sorting group” How can I do that ??? I can’t find how to make condition to the views … Thank you

Hello. I would like to apply the same filter on multiple columns. Seems simple… but not at all! ie: Today if I want to filter records wich contains the word “test” in at least 1 of 3 columns, I have to configure filter by adding each column to the filter. I would like to configure something like this: IF “column A” OR “column B” OR “column C” contains “test” IRL I need to filter on 15 columns and I would like to have a dropdown menu in my interface to chose a world to filter… Hope you’ll help me! I use the LONG TEXT field on my records as a way to put in subtasks as checklists - these aren’t linked to secondary tasks, but they itemize the steps I need to take on a specific task. I’m often copying from something else to add in to the checklist. Here’s what I don’t understand. In my table there are links to Google Photos albums, but they don’t work (they do instead work if I copy and paste the same link in the browser). I want to have people sign up for time slots. Can I have it remove each one for the next person? In other words, say the options are 1:00, 1:10, 1:20, 1:30, etc. When someone fills out the form and chooses 1:00, can I have it removed from the options for the next person so each time slot only gets one person?

How do I chart different fields in a record or a series of records? I do not want to chart down the field but across the record.

Hi all, I’m looking to provide a way for User A in Base #1 to update the status of a record, which will cause that record to appear in a custom view for user B in Base #2 and the status will change in both bases. when User B checks the checkbox field if the record in Base #2 - The status will change in both bases again. Basically, in our workflow, users need to be able to update the status of a project across bases, and have that change happen universally. What is the best way to achieve this?

Hello Airtable community, I’m generating reports from my Airtable base using the page designer app and it’s been going quite well so far. I’m now trying to create a table of contents in the report, but am not able to make it interactive in the resulting PDF (i.e. you click on the topic in the table of contents and it scrolls to the corresponding report text). Anyone know of a way to make this work using Airtable or some other app? I’ve tried Adobe Acrobat but it isn’t working very well and is really tedious.
