Hi, I have been trying for days and looked through previous posts but haven’t been able to find an answer. I created a linked table that shows how many engagements (essentially projects) per client account. NOTE: all of these records are completely made up and using as examples! Client accounts may have both active and inactive engagements, because there might be more than one engagement (project) assigned to an account. But my objective here is to show the account’s status as ‘Active’ if there is at least one active engagement. I got to this point, but how can I default to ‘Active’ if the field contains both active and inactive?

Hello everyone, I’m setting up a database to access people’s task. I’ll state a task and assign a score to it, 1-5 to show how important it is, then check 3 fields. If the fields are checked, the value should equal the value score value selected earlier and if not, zero. Then the total vaue sholud be calculated only if the completed column is checked that the task is completed. So there are four checked to be checked. Let’s say i select a score of 4, and i check all three fields and then the complete field, the total score should be calcuated as 16, but if 2 fields and completed, I score 12 but if completed not checked at all, the total shouldn’t be calculated at all. I don’t know how to setup the formula for this or better still a script that can run this. Pls help out!

I tried to find earlier postings, and I think I did find one, but oddly enough, nobody responded. So, let’s try again. Instead of attaching images to records I would like to add the link to online photo’s. I know I can add a link to a photo (URL), but it won’t show the picture, just the URL! Is this possible in Airtable?

I have an airtable table with 5 fields. But when I embed, it doesn’t show the last field in the card view. Only after clicking on the card item does the entire details show on popup. Is there a way to show all the fields in card view ?

Hello everyone. Sorry if this isn’t in the proper category or if the question seems newbie. I’m kind of new to Airtable and was wondering if there’s a way to automatically populate a field across a whole table based on a condition within a field in that table and/or in another table entirely. To simplify, I have a table with the following columns: Website Name, URL, and Categories. What I want to achieve is create a 4th column based on values within the Categories field. For example, if Categories field has “Laptops”, the 4th column would automatically populate with a text like “Source1, Source2”, etc. Is there a way to do this across the whole table and at the same time be able to edit the “Source” text to add more websites? Photo for clarification: Is it possible to make it so that Sample Website 2 through 4 also have Source1, Source2 in their Sources column? Sorry if this is confusing. Thank you so much!

Hey all, I really hope you can help me with this - I imagine it to be simple but I just cant find an answer for this! I want to move my spreadsheets to airtable. In one, my main table, I have a list of students with their names (here ABCD), etc. In a second table I have more information about these students, but the name list is in a random order Now I would like to import the second table and have the data matched to the first one, so that the right data from table 2 are listed in a new field, but connected to the right student A, B, … What would be the best way to do this? Hi, I need help. In a base, I have two sheets, the report and vendors. In the vendors sheet I made a lookup field column and created the lookup column. In the configuration, I linked the report and the report vendor category column. I can go to vendor category column and click the plus mark to add a record. The report had 1000+ rows. I don’t want to add these in manual 1000+ times. How do I get the vendor category column to auto popular with all the matching records? What am I doing wrong? Thank you Kim

I accidentally added a collaborator to my workspace which eventually cost me $151 in my credit card. I found some instruction to get refunded but seem like the refund is gonna be made into airtable credit balance but not reverse my bank transaction. I tried to contact airtable but it was super frustrating with the help center function. Any idea what can i do to get my money back (not refund to airtable credit) Thanks!!

Hello everyone, I spent countless days trying to find a workaround with no joy. My table has multiple records, which all have multiple dates filled in on a single line. I’d like to find a way to count the number of dates just like a rollup would do, but only the dates that are within a week. My major issue is that even though I put filters in my rollup, the output which is a sum doesn’t take each date individually, but rather does the sum of every date of the record as soon as one date is within the scope. Any clue ? Thank you !

I’m trying to build an automation that could, upon creation of a new record: assemble a few fields into a string (through Formula - Concatenate) ; save that string into a new txt file ; name that file ReadMe.txt ; paste it in Dropbox, in a folder whose path is one my record’s fields. I’m sure it can be done but I haven’t found the way yet. Could someone help me please?

Hi all! Wondering if anybody knows how to count the number of times a button has been clicked in Airtable (using scripts, airtable automations, or Zapier / Integromat)! Would be super useful to track which buttons are the most used and provide a count in a separate field that can be used for metrics! @kuovonne @K_V do you have any experience with this? Hi, When I go to print a view from a shared Airtable database link. All of my hidden fields that I hid within the shared link become visible again on the print preview. Is there a fix for this?

I am trying to set up an appointment booking system. They will be recurring at different intervals. I would like only the time/dates available to show so that it cannot be double booked. Time slots: 500, 510, 520 Start dates: 3/21, 4/4, 4/18, 5/2 Occurrence: daily, M-F Session durations in weeks: 2, 4, 6 For example, if someone books 5:00 on 3/21 for 6 weeks the next available spot for 5:00 is 5/2. If 5:10 is booked on 3/21 for 4 weeks the next spot for 5:10 is 4/18. If possible I would like to not have any gaps in there as well but am more concerned with the availability and having them show up as recurring events in a calendar. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Hi I use Airtable as an editorial platform for a magazine. I want to share photos and a bit of text from the magazine with influencers in order to give them material to post on social media directly on their own profiles - #employeeadvocacy - #memberadvocacy Is there a way to insert a “post to facebook”-option (and other Some) in a table, so that the users will see this option, when they open the view I share with them? If not they will have to download photo and copy text - and I am afraid that this journey will be too long for anyone to choose it. I am trying to add a specific duration to a datetime format, then reformat the output to another datetime. So for example: Datetime Field 1 / duration field (h:mm) / Formula Output (datetime format) I want to take datetime field 1 and add [duration field] to make a datetime format. Any way to do this?

Hello, Is there a way to filter a calendar view for conditions relating to each field separately? For example, we have to chase a customer for an invoice twice. Accordingly, we mark a first chase date and a second chase date and then a corresponding checkbox for each chase to mark that we have completed it. What I am hoping to build is a calendar view that displays all the outstanding chases that we have to do (both the first and the second chases - meaning there are two date fields). I want to filter out all the chases where the corresponding checkbox is ticked (i.e. we have completed it). I couldn’t build the logic perfectly for this when applied to both date fields however. It would be very convenient to filter the first date field based on whether First Chase is unticked and filter the second date field based on whether the Second Chase is unticked. If applied to both date fields simultaneously, the first chase still appears on the calendar as the second chase is still remaining to

Hi, I’m building a form for community voting, and the edit mode view shows a photo thumbnail + name, while the “live view” only shows the name. The form doesn’t make much sense without the thumbnail image. Any help here? Thanks!
