At a glance, it would seem pretty straightforward, but after playing with it for a bit, I’m not so sure. There are agents, agents have multiple transactions, and transactions have multiple documents. Agents need to submit and update transactions. I have built three tables: Agents - Agent ID, Agent Name Transactions - Transaction ID, Agent Name (linked to Agents) Documents - Documents ID, Transaction Id (linked to Transactions), Document 1, Document 2 (the documents fields are attachments) Via a form, Agents should be able to submit a transaction. Hi, I’m trying to build a small booking system. I have a pricing table with different rooms (for now there are only two rooms) based on the tourism season. Hi! Case: I am making a booking form for a hotel that has different rates per night depending on the month. Problem: I can’t seem to calculate the total costs when the check-in and check-out are in different months. Possible solution: If I am able to generate the days between the check-in and check-out date, I could link those to a sheet where I have every day of the year with a corresponding price. I can no longer copy and paste data from one table to another, or from an excel spreadsheet into an Airtable base. The table contains only text, currency, and percentage fields, and I’ve been using keyboard shortcuts CTRL+X/CTRL+V. (Using latest version of Chrome on Windows 10.) I have tried going column by column, row by row, and single cells - nothing happens. When copy from spreadsheet, the data is being copied to the clipboard; when copied from Airtable, it isn’t. If I double-click a cell, I can paste into that single cell–not helpful for copying lots of data.

We use Airtable to manage all of our data. We use Constant Contact to communicate with people within that database. How do I regularly update (export) email information to Constant Contact when an Airtable email record changes/updates?

Hi, I have customers who create different accounts. Each account contains 1-4 members. Among these members, I want to sort their ages into different cells like “age 1-18”, “age 19-59”. “age 60+”. Not only sort them into the right group(cell) but also show ages as well. Is it possible? For example in one account has 4 memebers, ages are" 2, 21, 63, 76", so it will show like this: “age 1-8”: 2 “age 19-59”: 21 “age 60+”: 63, 76 how can I write a formula like this? I have a column with fieldtype = checkbox. Is it possible to select all and uncheck it for every/multiple records?

I’m using the popular script for downloading attachments from a url to an attachment field in AT, but I’m running into issues with the file typing. The url I’m using is a direct download link to an mp3 file in Box, and this script has worked on these files before, but in some cases rather than downloading the mp3 file, it’s downloading the html of the download page instead and loading it into AT as a text file. The file it downloads looks like it’s asking for Box credentials, but I’ve double-checked the links in Box and they’re all set to be downloadable with just access to the link, so it isn’t (or shouldn’t be) a permissions issue. Has anybody run into this before?

Hi, New to Airable here! We are a non profit with almost 50 employees running many projects at the same time and we are considering moving our timesheets (used to compile time per task per project per person) to Airtable. So far, as a test, this is the base design we thought of : An individual base for each person, where they can enter their own data and conditions are calculated automatically (vacation left, sick days left, etc.) and not see all the other’s - each of these bases is synced with a « Projects » base, so the information can be updated easily. Compilation of all the data in one base to get an overview of time spent on each project. Since for now, there is a limit of 20 sync tables with the Pro plan, what would be an easy way to sync 50 sources to one table? Or would the solution would be to go with a completely different base design? We would really like each person to have their own base to avoid mista

I’ve built a sample projects database that uses this script. It works beautifully. Now I would like to add a field from the Templates table (where the tasks are listed by the type of project) that has “duration” (number of days). If I can pull that in when the script runs and creates all the tasks for the project/parent, I will be able to create a schedule based on the project start date. Has anyone done this? I am not a Javascript person, but I think one would simply add maybe 4 lines to the existing script. I just don’t know what those might be. Thank you in advance!

Hello, I can created an applicant tracking system with airtable. I am trying to add interview feedback from multiple panels to a candidates record. I tried saving an email chain from outlook and uploading as an attached to the candidates record on airtable but that didn’t see to work. Is there another way around this or better way to do this?

Suddenly, only our “owners” can add new records in one of our bases. Editors, creators, etc get a lock icon. Anybody have this problem or know how to fix it? I’m awaiting a response from support.

I have a question and I was trying now to find a solution for a few hours. Problem (simplified): I have a few tabs: One with the list of all stores (imagine these are thousands of stores) And for each month I have an excel with the store name and the revenues I would like to “import” the revenue data from the “Revenue 2022-01” and “Revenue 2021-12” sheet into the “Store overview” sheet. What would be best way? Do I really have to use the “Link to another record” and duplicate the name of the store each time?

Hi, I am trying to create a “summary” table within the same base as the input tables (this is a template that will be copied). It looks like Syncing the tables is only possible if I do the syncing in a new base. But I am essentially looking for this concept within the same base. How could I get totals/sums from the table Option A, Option B, etc into a Total table? Thanks in advance for your help!

Hey all. Setting up a base for a real estate firm and they would like to have property owners upload their own photos to an existing property record. Is there a way to have a non-collaborator/non-airtable user update their own record? I considered using a form, having the information come into a separate table, and then linking the records but that is proving challenging. Thoughts?

Dear all, we use Airtable as our database and Stacker as a front-end for several colleagues. Our people love the colored drop-down data in Airtable. Any idea how to communicate the color-info through stacker as well? (e.g. @Sam_Davyson ?) Best regards, Gustavo

Hi all! I love the look of this template and want to do something similar: Product Roadmap Template - Free to Use | Airtable In my main table the Primary Field is all my potential dev stories. Each of these has an Epic value assigned. I want to make a different table where the Primary Field is all Unique Values from the Epic field in the other table. Then, I want to have all the stories grouped, or counted, or what have you in an additional field. In the sample it looks like they just used the text values of Alpha, Beta & Final, but as I will always be having new epics I’d like the field to be dynamic. Is this possible? Thank you!

Hello, We upload responses from Typeform, and typeform has some questions which are Yes/No but it seems typeform is returning for those answers True or False, and when they are uploaded to AIrtable the records are Checkbox and if it is true it is Checked and when it is false, it is not checked. How can we make it to be as True False rather than checked or not?

We are consolidating all our data at one place to standardize & streamline our workflows. I was under the impression that Airtable had abandoned their Mac app a while ago, but today saw that it had an update. However, even this newer version still is not Universal for running natively on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs. Is there any sort of ETA on a Universal Airtable Mac app? I like having the separate app precisely so that it is not in my web browser, but would prefer a native app on my M1 Mac.

Hi Everyone, I have a database of 10k+ words. My goal is to count how many times a letter appears in each of the words. For example: Apples contains 1 (a) 2 (p) 1 (L) and 1 (e) 1 (s) My original idea was to create 26 fields, 1 for each English letter. I can’t seem to figure out a formula that can do this. Secondly I’d like to then have a table that is able to take the most common letters and display the most common words of various lengths that already exist within my database. Is this possible?
