Hello, We upload responses from Typeform, and typeform has some questions which are Yes/No but it seems typeform is returning for those answers True or False, and when they are uploaded to AIrtable the records are Checkbox and if it is true it is Checked and when it is false, it is not checked. How can we make it to be as True False rather than checked or not?

Hi there! I’m looking to integrate a ‘search tool’ in my Airtable datasheet. Something similar to what google has. We are consolidating all our data at one place to standardize & streamline our workflows. So that whenever a teammate wants to know anything regarding the business, they just go to the search tool, search for it and the data gets fetched! Thanks!

Hi Can Airtable do what I need

I was under the impression that Airtable had abandoned their Mac app a while ago, but today saw that it had an update. However, even this newer version still is not Universal for running natively on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs. Is there any sort of ETA on a Universal Airtable Mac app? I like having the separate app precisely so that it is not in my web browser, but would prefer a native app on my M1 Mac.

Hi Everyone, I have a database of 10k+ words. My goal is to count how many times a letter appears in each of the words. For example: Apples contains 1 (a) 2 (p) 1 (L) and 1 (e) 1 (s) My original idea was to create 26 fields, 1 for each English letter. I can’t seem to figure out a formula that can do this. Secondly I’d like to then have a table that is able to take the most common letters and display the most common words of various lengths that already exist within my database. Is this possible?

So I am inputting information into a “long text” column on a grid. At the moment I am then manually adding fields into my other columns of “multiple select” links. Is there a way that when I paste something into long text that it automatically adds links to things that I have approved from the long text section?

My question concerns missing information using a link field. In Table A is a field name: Property ID In Table B is a link field to Table A’s Property ID In table A I enter London 123 When I search in Table B’s Property ID for London 123, I can find it amongst the records but the 123 isn’t displayed. I have tried entering London-123 but it doesn’t make any difference. how should I enter the information in the table A field to ensure that when I link all the information is displayed in table B? tia

To continue my setup in Airtable, I would have liked to understand how the Pro plans work: I discovered (by coincidence) that the price depends on the number of worspaces and the number of users (?) I read this in the help sections: “The cost of upgrading a workspace is dependent on the number of users who have access to any of the bases in your workspace.” I would have liked to be able to organize my data in several workspaces (equivalent to folders divided by interests or activities) AND the advantages of a Pro plan. But obviously I don’t want to pay a Pro plan for each workspace (6 or 7!) I am the only user of this data. What would be the best solution? Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!

Currently, our mobile calendar view is showing Feb 2022, but the numerical dates are not properly aligning with the day of the week. Is this a glitch on our end or on the app itself? The same desktop calendar is perfectly fine. But mobile is showing that today, feb 8 2022 is a Saturday. Also, the monthly view of february is only showing from 2/9-3/22. Weird.

Hi, Is this possible with Airtable: Is there a way that I publish a form and user can enter certain value (eg. Name) and “form” shows them values for that value (eg. Last names related to the Name)? User starts typing a eg. Last name in a field in the form and during the typing the possible values (of course the ones in database) starts to show?

I am looking at how to get a summarized version of long text. I am looking at some tools and many have API and are free but I haven’t compared how good they really are because that would be too biased to share it here (my text would be different from anybody else so likely difference results. If you summarize your text in Airtable - what do you use? I am looking at couple of tools like https://api.codeq.com There is only one that I know of that integrates with Zapier. However, no integration with Integromat. I am paying Integromat already and not ready to stick more money for Zapier since all stuff I do is in Integromat anyways. I’d like help as I expand the complexity of my Airtable bases. Currently I use Airtable to manage different lists of people for my nonprofit. For example, team list, partner list, donor list, etc. These tables have lists of records with names and other fields like street address, email, etc. Our nonprofit is growing, so we want to begin utilizing external services to create online communities using services external to Airtable. For example, using a membership or e-course site like Kajabi, Mighty Networks, or Tribe. The problem is, I don’t want to have to manually update these Airtable lists in both Airtable and these external services. I have an AirTablr team list, but the community on Kajabi for example, would be identical to the AT list. Is there a way I can link these sites to Airtable, and use one database as the “parent” and the other as the “child” that just syncs to whatever the “parent” says? Hi Airtablers, Starting my first attempt at using the Vega-Lite app, as I have some information that is not behaving using the Pivot Table app. I’ve used a Look-Up column, that pulls through Countries from a Multiple Select field on another table, so that the two data sets I need are connected. But the Pivot Table app won’t let me ‘Split Multiple Choices’ within the Look-Up Column. So, when I try to make the data into a readable format, the ‘Countries’ only show as various combinations of countries from each of the Lookup Column entries (e.g. “UK, USA, France”, “France, Germany, USA”, “UK, USA, Germany”. When they need to be split into “UK”, “USA”, “France”, “Germany” in the visual data.) I’ve moved on to using Vega-Lite in the hopes this can be solved, but this is where I’m stuck. This is the section relating to the x-axis: Is there a way to split the values from the “Country” column (the Lookup Column), using commas as the delimiter? And then grouping data for each country together?

I was wondering if anyone has advice on updating some fields in our system? We currently use Airtable to record a register of attendees for some community group work sessions we run. We are needing to see the countries of origin that are represented in our sessions, but due to changes during the pandemic this information was not always able to be collected. I would like to see if there is a way to gather this information as and when participants attend our sessions in the future through the attendance register we have set up. We take registration using a form that links to our participants list, which needs to stay exactly the same for ease-of-use by our staff. Is there a way that when a participant’s name is selected on the attendance form (using the Add+ field under ‘Student Name’, pictured below), a second window can open requesting their Country of Origin if the field for their record is blank? This would need to be separate to the form as there are multiple participants per sessio

What shortcut can I used to move forward and back from a long text field that has rich-text formating enabled? I usually use tab & shift-tab to move back and for between fields when I’m entering data. However, when I hit a rich-text field, the tab creates a tab within the field and doesn’t move forward. Is there a way to do this? Thanks!

Hi, I have a database where there is a column Company and there are rows where companies are repeating. Is it possible to have kind a Kanban view, but when you select the “card” with specific company you can see all data (eg. comments on specific date) on one card and not “endless” cards for one company, each with different comments on specific date… kind of simple CRM tool?

With Shared view URL filters I am able to craft links so that I can basically look at the records dynamically, however I am unable to actually make any changes or edits to the views that I am creating dynamically. Is it correct to say that it isn’t possible to do URL filters with normal views? If so, I wonder why? It would be very useful to be able to create dynamic views where you can actually edit the records. Shared view URL filters for those of you that don’t know what I mean. Hello! I am currently putting call data from Twilio into Airtable to then transform and present via Stacker. Currently, I can put the call start time (datetime), the call end time (datetime), and the duration (number) from Twilio itself. I know there is the DATETIME_DIFF() formula, but the issue with this is that it produces an integer, where I am wanting h:mm:ss. I also know you can use the integrating formatting option that Airtable has on Formula fields, which works fine if I was only using Airtable. The difficulty comes in when I need to get this duration time into Stacker. Stacker does not do the same formatting option as Airtable and pulls in the duration integer (as seconds). Any ideas?

Hello all! I am entering in visitor information into airtables. I am entering their name, contact details, and what time they will require access. When I do a calendar view, it shows the date I have them arriving and the date they leave, but I want it to display the entire time they’re there. If I put in that they need access from 8am-3pm, starting on date #1 and leaving date #2, is there any way to automate this so that in the calendar view it displays their appointments on every date inbetween?
