Is there anyway for me to block some dates from being choosen in a date field?

So, let’s say I have a column that holds the total amount of revenue from each customer in a given month. That column is set up so that the total “Sum” at the very bottom of the table shows the revenue of all customers for that month. Is there a way to pull that total, the one at the bottom of the table, in to another table so that I can have a single table that output’s the totals by month…like a summary table? I would like to use this summary table as a nice easy way to share the monthly totals with the team. Does that make sense?

Hello, Big hope to resolve my problems here, for the last few days, I face this problem, so my goal is to create a shipping slip using an integration of airtable module - google doc - google drive - airtable I have finished changing the shipping name, address etc using airtable record data and converting it from docs file to pdf, but when I need to replace the barcode image ( from barcode images which generated using integromet barcode generator on other scenarios) I always failed to get the image ID ( I have followed the tutorial to change the ALT TEXT ) or event try another way by using google docs get content of document I still cannot find the ID of my images can someone help me with how to change the image in google doc replace image with new

Hello all. I’m trying to append the value of a specific field to the end of a URL that’s opened by clicking on a button field. For example, I have a field called ‘Deal ID’ and it has different values for each record. Example - Deal ID = 123456 URL = www.google.com/ What is the URL formula for if I wanted to append this ‘Deal ID’ on to the same URL for each record. I tried “www.google.com/{Deal ID}” but it didn’t work. Thanks Dan

Is there a way of adding “mock” collaborators to a base? (show name without having to send out an actually link to someone’s email) I am creating a project tracking base and would like to add mock collaborators until I am able to release the base for others to actually see and use.

Greetings Airtable team! Since it’s launch, I’ve been using Airtable Interfaces to create a companys with report, using charts and other options. However only pie and donut charts are working and returning with data, other charts like bar (which is the one I need) do not work and only return empty. I believe no information was incorrectly filled, since when I choose another type of chart it works. Anyone having similar problems?

My goal is to automatically create different page with the information I want to show to the client and then have the link shareable. is it possible in some way? Particularly I need to show a map component and the information of the record. Do you have in mind some solution?

Hi all, I would like to depict different Date ranges in the timeline view (e.g. like this example pic from Excel): However, I struggle to find a solution. I do not necessarily need the timeline view but I have a lot of projects who all have the same setup (x different stages with follow in a more or less defined sequence): Does anyone have an idea how to realize such an overview? Dividing each project into 5 subcategories and then using a Ganttchart seems to be extremely labor intensive. I would even be happy if I could have a simple continous timeline from start to end as offered today with milestones depicted in between at dates X, Y and Z. Like this example:

Hi! I am currently working on creating a base for some of our clients but the information needed for the records is housed in our database. Ideally, I would like to transfer the information from PostgreSQL to Airtable to make sure everything is accurate. Is there any way this is possible without using Zapier/integromat? If it is possible, will this solution offer continual updates or just a one-time import? Has anyone used PostgreSQL or some other platform like periscope to add information to their base? Thanks!

Hello, We are trying to use an API key generated by myself (the owner) and it works fine to read data, but not when we try to write data (It says ‘You are not authorized to perform this operation’). I saw this article that shows you how to let people schedule a time with you: How to make a simple booking system It’s similar to what I want except I want to let about 20 people reserve the same spot, and hide it once its full. I’d also like to be able to let customers know how many people have reserved a spot in each given time if possible. Is this possible? Is there an example of someone doing something similar? I am a new user and here is what I would like to have happen: I have a contact list-when I add or change a contact, I want to obtain the city and state, based on zip code, from a google sheet sheet which contains all this desired information, and update the record in airtable with the city and state. Everything I find wants me to trigger from changes in google sheets and update google sheets. Does anyone know how I can lookup info from one(airtable) by looking for a match in the other (google sheets) and write back to fields into airtable?

Hello, I’m a new user, and I’ve read several posts about how to link fields. None of the suggestions seem to work for me. Perhaps I’m missing something obvious. I have a base that tracks host families. One table has general admin information about the families including their current hosting status. I’m setting up another table to track availability in different quarters. I linked the status field from admin information table to the availability table. Nothing is auto filling. I understand auto fill may be the issue, but when I try to manually enter the information I get the “Look up fields should be configured in the field menu drop down” and when I try to copy and paste from the source table, I get the message “Can’t paste into this field. Hello everyone! I’d highly appreciate it if some could advise how to manage the below task: I am building a “recipe cost calculator”, where each recipe has a different amount of ingredients to use. I want to make a form where chef could input data and create new recipe, were main goal is to calculate the cost of this recipe. So, chef inputs the Recipe name, image, category, chooses ingredients, inputs its amount to use, and in the final box should appear a cost ($) of the recipe based on ingredients and their amounts. The existing “Food cost calculator” does not have option of calculation in this manner. It’s more general and is not as precise as I am want to build. I am struggling to build a form where chef can choose the ingredient and input its amount to use. Formulas for calculations are not a problem. Below is a sample form

Hello. I have two tables - Orders and Shipments. Orders are pre populated using an integration with Hubspot. Shipments are created manually using a ‘Create Shipment’ form on the Shipments table. I want to assign Shipments to Orders by clicking on a button in the record of the ‘Order’ named something like ‘Add Shipment’. This should then open a URL for the ‘Create Shipment’ form on the Shipments table. Ideally here though I want to pre fill the Order Number of the record that I clicked the button on. I have created a linked record field in the Shipments table which links to the Orders table. I have then appended the following to the URL for the button: “prefill_Order Number={RECORD_ID}” The linked record displays and I can choose the order number manually but it doesn’t pre fill. Can you let me know where I’m going wrong if possible? Thanks! Dan
