Hello is it possible to import data from an HTML web page into Airtable for example, i would like to retrieve the data “priceValue” in coinmarketcap.com/currencies/solana i’m trying with DataFetcher but it seems not to work properly. Is there another way to achieve ? thanks for your answer

Within a base, I have 2 tables that I would like to merge into one, is this possible, or do I have to re-create the 65 records from the smaller table into the larger table that I want them to merge with? (Not sure if it makes a difference, but I am currently on the free plan) Thanks

Just discovered the possibility of sharing your bases on Universe. Is it possible to ask users for a payment before making a copy? Or is there another way to allow people to copy your base for a remuneration?

I can’t find how i can delete a single field thru the API. And i rather stay away of the PUT command and feed everything back from a request, minus the one field i want to delete. So… how can i empty a field or blank it with a patch command?

I need to generate the documentation of an Airtable database and I was able to use the script below, but it would be much more useful and efficient if the output were in an Airtable table (which I could easily update daily or weekly thanks to an automation). Hiya! I’m trying to calculate employee tenure with DATETIME_DIFF. I’m able to show it by years, months, or days. What I’d ideally like is to break it down to say: 3 years, 2 months. So I have a field for start date and end date (as screenshot suggests). I have the formula applying today() if they are still employed. Just can’t figure out how to get that month figure to be months into the current year. Thought I’d add my current formula. Hi all, I have a requirement for a form to allow a user to input (draw) via touch/pen. This doesn’t have to be a legally binding e-signature so I’m hoping to avoid complex 3rd party integrations. Is there a canvas widget/app that allows a field to capture touch drawing as an image/svg etc? Microsoft Power Apps has a built in “pen input” control - I’m hoping there’s something similar. OK, so I have an odd one for the community to ponder. I have a Page Designer app driven by a table that has a “Collaborator” field in it. I have a Page Designer ‘object’ [maybe not the right word] that displays the name of the Collaborator selected in that field for each record. When certain collaborators are selected the name displays correctly in Page Designer, but when other collaborators are selected their names do not show up in Page Designer. It appears that Workspace Collaborators DO show up in PD, but Base Collaborators do not. Is this expected behavior? Thanks in advance.

Hey guys - we upload attachments that may have a 1000 or so pages and we often need to do a simple CMD F to search for key words within the attachment. It seems you can only do this one page at a time, is there a way to solve this?

We work to educate young people about sustainability and empower them to take action in their communities to build a better world for us all. All of our programs are 100% free to students, so we are on a tight budget! Since pandemic lockdowns began, we’ve served over 26,000 students in over 160 countries and we’re growing every day. Airtable has been on my radar for awhile, but even though it seems to be made for people like me (not a programmer), I’ve struggled with setting it up for my organization. Hi, I am using the time tracker app by airtable, at first it was fine, but now it seems to randomly stop and shows that it stopped because the underlying record was deleted. I am the only user, and when I close the error the record is still there, can anyone help with this? thanks in advance for your effort

Hi All, Relatively new to airtable but learning fast. I have a map app that shows my different types of accounts color coded by type. What i was hoping to do is code a button for each record to go to that specific location on the map app, rather than having to manually search the entire map (US only). is this possible? I’d assume so via possibly scripting or a custom app, but i dont have a lot of experience in this. Any suggestions or even alternative ideas welcome! Thanks!

Is it possible to block-off a day(s) from being used in the calendar view? For example, prevent assigning a task to a vacation day. Thank you.

For example, say I have a directory with all the employees an multiple levels of managers. Employees report to a first level manager. A first-level manager reports to a second-level manager, who reports to a director. I create a column for who each person reports to as a “parent” column. I want to create a column to shows all the people that report to a person that is linked to the original parent relationship. Is that possible? The purpose I have is different that my example but the concept is the same. Would appreciate the help! -Liz

Hi, Our team has a base with records that include a status field. We have a form for people outside our team to submit job requests. Is there a way to filter a view that only shows records submitted through the form? I was thinking perhaps assign the status “Under Review” by default when the form is submitted and then filter on that, but assigning defaults doesn’t seem to be an option. Is there another way to do this? Thank you and let me know if you need further information from my end. Ed

I really would love a better mobile app experience for Android. I am a huge fan of Airtable and everything it has to offer I love all of the new improvements that have been happening recently. But the experience on the mobile app is very very lacking I would love to have all of the same functionality and the same user experience that I have on the desktop in the mobile app to put it simply. I hope this is somewhere on the road map for the future. Also, I noticed when I try and add text into a long text field the text does not stay it ends up being a blink field after I attempt to add text.

Hi, This has been discussed previously (Link) but seems like it’s working sorta… I use the app on my iPhone and the video plays fine but within the app on Windows (not a browser) it won’t play. Can I request that the Airtable app on Windows just play every video file like VLC player does? It would make life a lot simpler.

Is it possible to basically run a For loop through all records? Say I have two tables: One that will be populated from a form, and one that will hold some data. For simplicity: Let’s say Table 1 (T1) is Things Let’s say Table 2 (T2) is Colors For all colors in Table 1, submit X for Table 1. For instance: For Red from T2, describe a Red Thing in T1. For Orange from T2, describe an Orange Thing in T1. If there exists an item in T2 that hasn’t been described in T1, make a cell in T1 show incomplete.

I changed a field view from a normal input cell to a formula cell and all of the data was erased. I need to know how to go back and just undo that change as I worked for several hours on other tasks and I don’t want to undo all of that work just to get that data back. How can I do this please?

Hello all. I have a list view of major calendar dates (Description/Start/Finish/Category). These are categorised into 12 topics (Secular/Major Event/Religious/Holiday etc.). When I create a timeline view, I only seem to be able to get 9 swimlanes, therefore three are missing. Is this a limitation or a bug? Have included a couple of screenshots. I have configured a Gannt chart for my deadlines as follows: Start date as a formula: TODAY(). End date as a date record. Deadlines are grouped in 4 categories. I’d like to order the deadlines starting with the closest and ending with the latest per category. Is this possible? It seemd like at first is worked fine, until I started adding more deadlines and categories. All deadlines are independent. So no dependencies.
