I currently have a list of countries in one table but some are missing. I have a list of all the countries in an excel sheet that need to be added. I know there’s a work around to add the missing data by copying what you currently have with the excel sheet, but I can’t remember how to do it. Any suggestions? TIA!

Hi there, I adapted the below script by @Justin_Barrett. Everything was working great until I added a few hundred new records to the ‘TaskLog’ table. The script now throws this error: Exceeded quota of 15 mutations per second at main on line 20: let result = await table.selectRecordsAsync() In addition, the run time is now 23.8/30s - also an error for my purposes - as any run time that goes over say 6-seconds will make the script unusable. Can anyone tell me exactly how to edit the script to include batch processing or another solution that will solve the two errors at hand? Ideally, the script should be able to quickly search through thousands of records in the TaskLog table in order to mark the ones that match the Account ID from the first step of the automation (inputConfig.AccountID) Here is the script:

Hello, I have one table and would like to sync the primary field with the primary field in a second table. I tried this by creating a synced table, but the only bases available are the example bases. I moved my table to the example bases workspace, but my base still wasn’t available. Is it possible to do this? Can anyone help? Thank you.

just an excel with 20k records. i tried to import from excel, soooooo slow. i save it as CSV, and import it again, still very very slow. so far, still not finished. which way i can choose to import it?

As I reorganize my workspaces, I am wanting to move a handful of files from one workspace to another. The files have attachments. Is this possible?

Hey there, My production team is using one base to handle our production. (supply, suppliers etc) One table in this base is dedicated to our PRODUCTS. We have one column for price (currency type). An other table, in this same base, is dedicated to VARIANTS. It is simply a linked record to a PRODUCT and a size. The price is “looked up” from product, and thus is showing as a currency type on the variant record. On the other side, the SALES team is sync the VARIANTS table from production to another base (SALES) to get a list of all of our product. To create a sale in the LINE ITEMS table, they pick a VARIANT from the synced table in their base. They write a quantity. And obviously the quantity should be multiplied by the VARIANT PRICE to have the line price. My problem : in the synced table (in SALES base), the price is shown as a TEXT. I’ve searched here and google searched for a way to add holidays to the calendar. It is for staff time-off. It would be nice to see holidays in the calendar view, along with staff time-off requests. The main question is, how do I add holidays to my calendar?

I know that values from the Summary Bar cannot be used in formulas, but I would like to be able to at least right click and copy-paste them. Right clicking on the summary bar does nothing and left clicking only allows me to change what value is displayed. Am I doing something wrong here? Is there perhaps some add-on that would allow that? I am using Mac if that makes any difference.

Hi! How does one import a .csv into a specific view? I understand how to import a .csv into a table and select how to map fields for import, etc., but I don’t see a way to import data into a specific view (i.e., not the entire table). For example, I have a table where I do not want some rows overwritten by a new data import. I can easily filter these records/rows into a view where the only visible rows are ones that I DO want to be overwritten with new data. Does that make sense? Thank you!

Hi, I have a table with records, which acts like an overview. What I want to do is simple, I want to have a field in the row, that when I click that, I will jump to a different table (a specific view in there). That’s easy to do in Trello, Asana etc, but I can’t seem to find a way to set this up here. I’ve tried to search everywhere, but everything talks about linking records, which is not what I want. Literally just a way to jump from the overview table to the detailed table. Is this possible?

Hello! I’m trying to set up a Gantt view for our team. The tasks are primary deliveries which last less than a day, and in the view the task is a block that spans the entirety of the day. Not sure if this can be changed to specific slots to show the portion of the day! Added context: my start and end dates are computed (formula) fields. I am using Airtable as a CRM, and have a ‘clients’ table, with a primary contact email field. I have a project for which I will need to contact each client, but would like to do this one by one, rather than emailing everyone at once. I have created a button field and set the button to trigger a SendGrid app email. By default, this will send to all records in the table. I realise I can filter and configure the SendGrid app to only send to a given view. But is there any way of having a button trigger an email for that record only, without having to first check a box to stick that record into a given view?

Is it possible to assign the same task to multiple projects/records, and then be able to mark that task as completed on specific records only? For example, I have a table with a list of clients, and have another table with all the tasks that could ever need to be completed for those clients. One such task is to send new client letters to each new client. If I go to my clients/projects table and assign that task to each new client I have- we’ll say Jane Doe, Sally Doe, and John Doe, how can I mark that task complete for just Jane? Right now, if I mark it complete for one client, it currently says it’s also complete for all the others that need that task as well. Is there a way to make this show complete for some and incomplete for others?

Hi, I have changed the field type of some columns from “Attachment” to “Long text”. However, now I need to go back to the old format without losing the data. If I try to do so, the content of the columns is not converted and it is lost. So is there a way to convert columns from “Long Text” to “Attachment” type ? Thank you for your help, Damien ROCHE

At my organization we have a table in one base (Primary Base- PB) that lists members. I have another base (Outreach Base - OB) that is constructed to capture outreach efforts related to the members in the PB. Till now I have been using Zapier to update modifications of key fields within PB in my OB. Sync is going to change that I hope. However, I’m in the midst of organizing a new synced PB member table in my OB and I’ve hit a major road block. I am unable to upload csv’s to the new synced table! I’m not interested in creating new records, I’m just modifying additional fields that are not synced to the PB. When will this be resolved?

Hello! I would like to create a Grid view that only displays the latest record. I’ve played around with formulas, but am not finding success. I’m sure it’s something simple and stupid. I don’t want to have to interact with the Table to get it to update. I have a Field for the Creation Date and I also have an auto-number ID that I could compare against. Again, I just couldn’t get the logic right. Thank you, in advance, for your help.

This still bothers me a little. I have a base where I upload attachments of pdfs that may contain confidential information. Each attachment has its own URL, and although they don’t show up on a Google search or anything like that, there’s nothing to prevent someone who didn’t have access to the base to which the attachments are uploaded from accessing them by the URL. It also doesn’t seem to be possible to password protect uploaded pdfs. Any advice on this from a data security point of view?

Hello~~ Airtablers! I added the URL to the Google Calendar using “Sync to an external calendar” in Airtable’s calendar view. However, the timezone used in Airtable’s Calendar view and Google Calendar’s timezone are different. The timezone I want is the timezone used in Airtable’s Calendar view: (AEDT, UTC+11). In Google Calendar, “(GMT+00:00) Coordinated Universal Time” timezone is used, and I cannot change these settings. How to match the timezone of Google Calendar with the timezone of Airtable can i do it?

I’m discontinuing using my iPad. I’ve entered TWO YEARS of important contact info into my iPad AirTable data base file. There’s no way to save or export that information from the iPad app! Why isn’t that WARNING made evident on the App Store site? I’m blind in one eye, and have arthritic fingers - it’s going to be time-consuming torture for me to hand type the data elsewhere!

I have been looking to create sales reports for salespeople that have numerous downstream. Similar to that of a multi-level marketing environment. I want to display an individual salesperson’s fee per order in a well-formatted page design template. On my table with all of the orders and fee information, there are three potential fields for a salesperson to be in. Those fields are: Primary Relationship, Secondary Relationship and Tertiary Relationship.
