What my team and I are trying to accomplish. Is have external user select information from the form. Once the form is submitted have the information that is linked be filtered and show the individual the result of the information. E.G. User fills out a form and selects apples. Things that are linked/mapped to apples will show up for them.

Hello Everyone! I would like to know if there is anyway to sync collumns from differents tables in the same base, for example, I have the table “A” with collumns 1, 2,3 and another table “B” with collumns 4,5,6. I want to change fields on table B from collumns 4 and 5 and automaticly do the same on collumns 1 and 2 from table A, but dont sync the other fields at collumn 3 from table A. Any ideas? Hello, I am trying to figure out Airtable and how to make it work best. At the moment, I have products that can sell individually, let’s say a rose and sunflowers, but sometimes I sell them together in a bouquet (we can refer it as a package) which can constitute of 5 roses and 3 sunflowers. I think the main issue is that I have multiple products that have the same name (ex. sunflowers) that go into different packages (ex. bouquets). This is why linked records might not work best for my model. As of right now, I have all the products and packages as single select. I want to find a way to break up my package single select (bouquet) to be divided and entered as individual flowers. Is this a possibility? Best, Ines

I spotted an earlier post from Feb 2020 about enforcing two-factor authentication but I see that there have been no further announcements or a response from the Airtable team? I sent a message about 3-weeks ago now and I’ve not received a reply. The main reason that this is incredibly important is because when using Airtable as your CRM, we are holding a lot of very private data that under GDPR here in the UK needs to be secure. None of my 3 other collaborators use two-factor auth and this concerns me. Please can this be prioritised? Many thanks Catherine

Hi All! I am building a tool with Airtable as database and users can access using API. Is there a way I can review log of all user requests? I am especially interested in requests that failed to analyze and add those records to my Airtable db.

I am trying to create a template base with tables columns, automations, and synched tables that people can then duplicate to use on a per project basis (these are all very different projects with different biz units and we cannot just use one base for everything). I set up a base to act as a template but when I duplicate it, the syncs are all showing as broken. it looks like I have to re-add all the synch links. Is there something I am missing or is this approach just not going to work? We have some people who have to roll this out multiple times and they will have to cut-and-paste like 12 links for each base. Thanks

Hello everyone, I would to share a specific view with my client throughout the view share link (he hasn’t an airtable account) and I would like to give him the possibility to upload files to a specific record without adding new records. Is it possibile? I tried with a form but every time I upload a file I’m creating a new record while I would like to upload the file to an existing record. Thank you very much, Alex

I’m building a production calendar for a podcast. The Episodes are built on cards in Gallery view. The date fields are all episode-based, so there are fields for “interview date,” “delivery,” “air date” and so on, which end up on the Calendar. How do I add items to calendar that are not tied to an Episode? Specifically, I want to note the dates that our Host is not available to work with us. I can’t add those dates to the calendar without a Date Field, and I don’t know where to put that Date Field and how to input multiple dates. When I add it to the calendar manually with a new date field I invented, it creates a separate card for each event. There’s probably a stupid easy way to do this, but I’m new to Airtable and I can’t find an answer anywhere. Your suggestions are appreciated! Anny

A brief summary: I would like to create a form with time counting (count how long a person opens a form - start as they opened it, and then end as they submitted it) Thus, I tried create a table with a form [which contained 1field save the created milestone (which will be updated as people submitted the form - Created Time) + 1 Date field which will be recorded as people open the form]. For my form, I prefilled the time with NOW(), but it did not work well (NOW() merely refresh after about 15 mins). I wonder if my explanation is clear enough (if not, just state it, I’ll try my best to present it in another better way). In short, My purpose is to count the open time of my form, you guys can suggest any other solutions if available, or you can help me solve the prefill with NOW () problems. Will there be any impact to our bases if we remove a billable collaborator who created and maintained said bases? If we remove a billable collaborator, will the system delete or alter some of the information tied to their account?

Hi! We have been using airtable for quite a while now. We set-up a form to get applications online from external users, however I noticed just today that when the shared link is clicked it now requires people to log-in despite the share settings turned on. Anyone experience the same issue??

Is it still not possible to use automations to insert multiple records into a linked record field? It works fine when I’m dealing with a single linked record, but not multiple. I can also paste comma separated record IDs via manual copy and paste, which shows multiple linked records, however, I would like to automate this process. When I copy the same string of text into a linked record field via Integromat, or using Airtable’s internal automations (last time I checked), I get an error. This seems weird given that I can copy and paste the same text manually with no problems. Does anyone know of a way to get around this limitation or if I’m doing something wrong here? Thanks!

Hi, I have a workflow that is supposed to attach a pdf from Google Drive to Airtable Attachment field via Integromat. I have tried per record, per blocks of 10 record and per blocks of 1000s of records. The attachements vanish everytime! I feel like I am losing my mind! Did anyone find a solution for this? Good Evening, Today I built a new base for my salespeople that has a table from another base syncing to it. The table from the Source Base (called Mission Control) has lookup fields for three fields - Estimates, Paid to Date, and Balance Due. The Source base (see attached photo of yellow base) has the total dollar values in group header bar. The destination base (see attached photo of blue base) has the same data being synced over but the header bars are not showing the option for the sum of the individual rows below - like the source base. Is this a limitation I am not aware of? I was hoping to have the people working on this base have the same visibility to the totals … Can anyone shed any light on this? I am having a hard time configuring a formula that logically is "If {Date MWS Completed} was between 60 and 30 days ago, then display difference between start date and completion date, otherwise, show a blank. This is what I have and I can’t figure out why it won’t work IF( AND( IS_AFTER({Date MWS Completed},DATEADD(TODAY(), -60, ’days’), IS_BEFORE({Date MWS Completed},DATEADD(TODAY(), -30, ’days’), ), DATETIME_DIFF({Status Complete}, Info, ‘weeks’), “ ”) Any help is appreciated!

I was under the impression that one could not access any of the Dashboards via the mobile app. There is no button to open any dashboard or app under the Android table/phone that I can find. The AirTable app seems to lack this feature. If I try to login via a browser on mobile app, it just redirects to the AirTable app. However, I was following the instructions on creating a sharable apps dashboard (following link) on my laptop. I then decided to see what would happen if I opened the resulting sharable dash link on a mobile browser. The Chrome app displayed the sharable dashboard, read-only, and looks great. Did not redirect to the AirTable app. Does anyone know why one cannot access the dashboards via the mobile app directly, without the above workaround? Maybe I’m missing something …

Hello! I just set up submittable forms for event management to autofill our backend, and I want it to send us an email with the completed form. Unfortunately I configured the form from my personal account and it only gives me the option to have the email sent to me directly, but I want it sent to my organization email. How can I customize where the form submission email is sent to? Thank you!

I am using airtable to coordinate events at a community space and I can’t figure out how to set up the front end with the survey for event booking requests that would go up on our website as the public portal to autofill into our back end. Right now I only have the back end spreadsheet aspect but want to survey portal for people to be able to request events space from the website. How do I set that up? Thank you!

Hi, I have a question, can I make an annual payment for a user? say I have three collaborators on a pro plan. I’d like to make payments for this user on an annual basis. Can I do that? Another question, is there a way to make collaborators pay for their subscription? we are a team and instead of Airtable charging me for the whole subscription I’d like it to be relayed to the collaborators. In your case, the only reason I’m responsible for getting charged is that I created the base (and the workspace) on my account. Would love to know how teams here handle billing. Thanks

Hi everyone! I am trying to create new Grids on my table but I noticed that when I input information for one city, all of what I typed pastes into every other Grid. I was looking around the FAQ and I found this article with the same question but no answers. How do I input specific information into only one grid? Thanks!
