Is it possible to send designed emails through airtable? I’d like to add the little social icons (facebook, instagram, google review) at the bottom of all my customer-facing emails to share about their experience and engage with our company. Alternatively, my company uses squarespace to send emails to customers also. Is it possible to integrate with squarespace to auto send emails upon a booking and a job completed?

We are new to Airtable. We have some .csv files that get pushed daily to an FTP server. We are hoping to be able to pull those .csv files and the data within them and dump it into Airtable. We are a bit lost of where to start with this automation without using the API ideally. If anyone has any experience with this use case or integration we would love to hear about it.

Hi Airtable Community. I’d like to create a medal tally for a school’s athletics meet where the results are counted by how many Gold, Silver and Bronze each school has. I’d like this medal tally to be automatically updated and sorted when I update an event table, e.g, if I update the winners for the table for 100m event by the school, the Medal Tally would automatically update.

My data consists of 4 tables, each table having a unique ID that is a number. Those numbers are the links between the tables. When I bring it into AirTable, everything is linked properly, but the linked field being a number isn’t of any use when a user tries a search, They need to be able to enter something other than the number of the record to find what they are looking for. If they are looking for something in the linked table with a column of City, they need to be able to search by the city instead of guessing at numbers until they stumble across the right one. A workaround is to use a concatenated field starting with the number then throwing stuff into it that would be useful for searching. I a working on converting it to use just such an approach but there are a lot of multi-instance fields that are a royal pain to convert. There has to be a better way. I know there is something obvious that I am missing.

I have inherited the task of updating and managing Airtable for our group. We have a Google form of data fields that I need to import into an existing Airtable. Or I need to revise/edit the column headings on the existing Airtable. Best approach? Thank you!

I am using gallery view on my website to display membership profiles. One of the fields is essentially “preferred name” and one is essentially “birth name”.l I only want to show the birth name if the preferred name is empty. Any suggestions?

I would like to display the number of records that I have in a table on my website. I know I can do this manually, but I would have to keep updating it manually and was wondering if there was an automated way. For example: “567 products and counting!” Where the number 567 is the number of records (rows) in the table that updates automatically when records are added. Is this possible with javascript or something?

I am new to Airtable and would like to be able to use Vega-Lite to add charts to my dashboard but modify them to display the numerical value on top of the column. I have added a screenshot of the chart that Vega-Lite pulls in along with the code. Any help is appreciated.

Hi there, is there any option to edit a single data entry (row) by using a form or targeting it via API? Example: We’ve got 100 data entries / rows relating different 100 people. Hello, I am trying to print a multiple record list from Page Design. I have tried this before and everything was OK. I haven’t changed anything recently but now I cannot see and print the whole pages. There is a two pages list and I can only see and print the first page. The second one is empty and so the list is not full. Please, can you help?

Hello, I am importing multiple values from zapier that are separated by a comma. I would like for them to be imported as an entire column as oppose to multiple values separated by a comma in a single cell. As seen in the image

Dear Airtbale Community, I own an E-Commerce store which makes personalized jewelry for pet owners. I use Airtbale for managing my orders. We used to upload a JPG file for each customization, but we changed some stuff in the backend of our system, so we have to use .DXF for fulfilling our orders. The issue I am having right now is that Aritbale automatically converts DXF to a TXT file and the file is unusable after upload. Is there a way to not convert the file and upload the file as is? Hello guys, is it possible to create a field where I have a drop down (multiple select) list where I can also set the number of items, without creating another table to do that? Something like having [chair, table, pen] as choices and the possibility to add the number of the items, (chair, 3), (table, 1) etc. Thanks for helping! I made my form and put all the necessary questionnaires for my users’ interview and when I reopen the form it seemed a few of the questions are missing from the main form. Hey folks, I have a need to be able to programmatically see the change history of an airtable base. We use airtable as an internal app for configuring our product for customers and I want to be able to see how our customer facing team changed the “draft” configuration before and after specific requirements gathering interactions with the customer, in order to understand what information we’re actually getting from that interaction. Imagineering a solution, if I could use the API to query specific snapshots that airtable takes automatically already (we’re on a Pro plan) that would be a solution, but it looks like that’s not an option. Short of setting up a regular job to use the API to essentially take my own snapshots to delta, are there any out of the box solutions to this problem?

Hi, We are currently using the Jira Cloud app to sync our jira tickets with Airtable. We have a few custom fields that will be important for pulling over from jira–i.e. Customer and Sprint. Is there a way to add additional fields into the Jira Cloud App sync?

Does anyone know what determines the order of records structured as milestones in the GANTT view? Right now, if two milestones have the same due date, one seems to arbitrarily stack on top of the other in the GANTT view. Does anyone know what dictates this order? Is it not possible to sort records in the GANTT view? Also - does critical path not highlight when GANTT views are organized with grouping? I can’t seem to get it to work when I group by project category and then by project.

Hi, I’m a new user and starting with the Free plan - I suspect I will need to upgrade to Plus or Pro. Some help on these basic Q’s would be greatly appreciated and which plan I need to achieve these. How are the records per base calculated? Is it the number of lines per table or per base? I need to ‘search’ across all tables on a base, not just the current table - which plan will solve this? Eg. if a client calls and I don’t know which session they belong to (or which table they’re on) I can search via their mobile number across all tables. Printing: Can I select individual lines or columns to print or do I need to hide the columns not required first and then unhide after printing? Thanks for the help, Suzie

Hi guys! I’m quite new to airtable and have no experience in writing strings. I have read the syntax page, but could not find out what i should do to get the desired outcome. I have a column with the name “Referral URL” In this column, urls will be entered trough zapier when a user submits his/her credentials. Something like this: “www.test123.nl/test-ebook-landingspage/?ref=xd3r4n” I have another column next to the “Referral URL” column which is called “Referral Code”. What i would like to do is, eliminate everything before “=” and place only the “xd3r4n” in the cells of the “Referral Code” > This should be automated en run everytime someones signs up Is there someone who has experience with this? Looking forward hearing from you guys!
