I would like to share my base with others but several of the fields have the ability to be filtered. I would like for the people I am sharing the base with to be to filter the fields but not be able to change any of the information in the fields. Any suggestions on what options I need to select to accomplish this or is this possible to do?

My company helps provide aid to individuals in very life-threatening situations in other countries. Their personal identities and whereabouts are closely guarded for their safety. Each person is a record in our base. We would like to map out individuals by city in the Map App in order to help with basic logistical planning. My only question is: Does using the Map App (Google Geocoding API) enable Google access to any information in the Base/Table/View outside of the 2 columns (location-text column and Geocoding Cache column) required to set the Map App up??? I’m creating a community-facing form where folks can click a button to open a client’s webpage - IF the client has a webpage. However, if they DON’T have a webpage, I’d love the button to not appear. As it is, it’s disabled, but is there a way to make the button disappear if conditions aren’t met? From the screenshot: The first entry lacks a checkbox or website. As such, I’d like that button to be invisible, as opposed to merely greyed out. The second entry has a true checkbox and a website, and the appearance of the button is fine. Any ideas?

Hello, I have a calendar view of a database coloring the records “the same as” and then checked a single-select field called category in the database. The coloring works perfect but I would like to know if it is possible to add a calendar color key on top or the side so you can at a glance check what the colors correspond to which type of entry in the category field. I’m having a problem using fetch with the scripting app. My code looks like this: records.forEach(async (record) => { try { // works until here const response = await fetch(...) // never gets here either } catch (err) { // never gets here either } } ) It seems like there’s something going on with fetch that breaks further execution and I’m unable to debug it.

We use forms for a maintenance checklist. Works perfectly. But now we have to put a extra checkpoint appear on the same checklist every 2 weeks. Is that possible on the same checklist? I cannot do it through the conditions. Has anyone have an idea for this?

Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by. I have two tables, a “Properties” table which contains all the properties, their type, configuration, and amenities, and a “Members” table which contains the member fields their desired property configuration, desired property type, and the amenities they need. I’m trying to create a new field on the Members table which has a list of properties(from the Properties table) matching the member’s needs. I’m pretty new to Airtable and I’m not sure how to achieve this. Any amount of help is highly appreciated. Tysm in advance.

These listings are currently divided into four in according to continents. Then main destination which is the country, sub divided into region. Complete noob here. Building a system to track a series of classes we’re teaching internally. Each employee is assigned to a learning track, which includes a specific series of classes/modules. I have the data linked to show which classes/modules are in each learning track, and which employees are in which learning track…but I’m trying to wrap my head around a way to “grey-out” or “hide” classes already taken by an employee (so they don’t accidentally get assigned to the same class twice). I’d be glad to share my work…although I suspect someone will just say “durp, do this”… Thanks for ANY advice!!!

Greetings All, I am interested in using Airtable for project management. I would like to get the structure of the project plan(s) organized properly so that I do not find out later that I put a lot of work into it and got it wrong. Ultimately, I would like to have one high level Gannt chart that shows the timelines for multiple projects. Beyond that, I would like to customize each project differently. For our Core System Project for we would have a list of features for each aspect of the development project as well as a list of tasks and mockups. We will have integrations to other systems that I would like to define as sub-projects of main development project. Beyond that and at the same level as our Core System Project, we would like include other projects such as Marketing, Social Media Engagement, Training Programs, Supplier Onboarding, Country Rollout Plan, etc. These other projects would have tasks, but not features. I know this question has been asked before but can you change the colour of text in a text box? We have developed a workspace tracking our clients, however we would like to highlight text using a different colour to draw someone’s attention to that particular concern. OK, I can add a colour tab to that record but someone still possibly has to read through a mountain of data to find the particular issue that was causing concern. Having the ability to highlight or change the colour of the text would be really useful!

DATETIME_FORMAT({Local Time(In Your Time)}, ‘MMMM’ Is the one field for a formula I have, and the source field, {Local Time} is the culprit because I don’t always have date in the field until I actually place a date in there, so of course, I’m getting #ERROR! for EVERY formula field that uses this source date field. I know I can nest an IF formula, but when I tried, based on another community suggestion(not my question), I got an error, so obviously, I need help with the formula LOL Suggestions? I have some other formulas, but I figured I’d start with the easier one first. Thanks!

Our website developer has alerted us to the fact that the Airtable form embedded on our Contact page is taking very long to load and that the Contact page has a very high bounce rate, unsurprisingly. How do I deal with getting specifically qualified Aritable help, but not risking someone walking away with the backbone of my business? One of the major drains on my own time is managing a few email databases in Airtable. But the contents of these databases are like the keys to my kingdom. I have some upworkers scraping email addresses full time, but I’m slow to update the databases, or even taking time to cull bounced emails, because it’s so time consuming / requires focus I don’t have right now. I would like to give clients a link to edit the stacks in a kanban view. If I am paying to have just one collaborator, am I able to discontinue collaborator A and authorize collaborator B. I am an artist and would like to give a gallery the possibility of moving a piece from “Undecided” to either “Considering” or “FinalChoice”. The link would go to one gallery at a time and then be discontinued after the choices were made, thus making my single collaborator available for another gallery. Is this legit? Is there any way I can have Page Designer output directly to an Attachment Field? I have a list of employees and I’m using Page Designer to create a visual schedule for each employee. If I could automatically save the schedule from Page Designer to the employee’s attachment field, I could use Send Grid to email their schedule. I hope that makes sense. I want to be able to send HTML emails to my contacts in Airtable. I’ve used the SendGrid app, but it only sends text emails. I’ve tried Zapier to integrate Airtable with Mailjet. The problem is it needs a “trigger,” and I want to sent out general emails (newsletters) without a trigger, just whenever I need to send them. Any suggestions? Is this something that a knowledgeable API person would be able to configure? I’m willing to pay someone to do it. Thank you.

For a small retail business I am looking to keep track of orders made by clients in person. It is only meant for me to see what the client has ordered so I can place the order with my supplier later. We do not use a form or catalogue as we constantly offer many different and new products with changing prices. Ideally I can simply write down multiple items per client with a simple product description, the price, and the quantity, as well as a total. Is this possible without having to create a record to link to for each separate item? Thanks.
