Hi! I would like to create an CRM email system where I create two tables, one for People and another for Emails. The people table has individuals who need to be sent different kinds of emails depending on their status (new lead, qualified lead, etc). The Email table contains records for each type of email template, each with a field containing the HTML for the email, including bracketed information specific to an individual (ex: {First Name}, {Email}, {Last Name}, etc). The system works by linking an email template to a particular user, generating a unique HTML code based on the template and some of the fields unique to the user. The main problem is the SendGrid block seems to generate the HTML upon hitting “Preview”, not “Send”. That means it just pastes the HTML code as text, rather than generating the email as it should be. I am creating a calendar that shows upcoming customers that we will be meeting with throughout the month, but they are from all over the state, and I wanted to be able to at least see what city they are in when I use the calendar view. Is there any setting I can adjust so that I can see the customer name, and then underneath the city they are located in?

My Airtable has purchase order data, and I need to be able to present a single page, multi line PO for records and vendors. I have an excel doc that will “make it pretty” for me, as long as the data is present. If I was the user I would just copy/paste, Save As and move on. The person who needs the PO is very computer illiterate, so I need a print button or similar to “make it go”. All I need is to copy the data from a specific view into the Excel doc (preferably a blank master doc) and then either have it automatically Save As or at least pop up the Excel program so Save As can be done manually. Since this is an instant trigger I don’t think I can use Zapier/Integromat for it. I know that there is a script on here for pulling data into a power query (sorry, am on mobile. link later), but that seems to be button in Excel doc, not button in Airtable. Is it possible/effective to try a script? Is there something else I don’t even know is an option?

Hi, I’ve been searching for a way to create a button (either in the table or in an app block, I don’t care where) that will create five new fields and make them appear in the currently selected view or in one specifically selected in script bock. Again, don’t care which way it works, as long as I can make this possible. I have a team where we do call lists for different events and every time we make calls, we (meaning I) create four new columns Link to records field so people can select their name to say they are going to make the call A checkbox field for tracking whether they made the call A checkbox field for tracking if the person said they’ll attend A checkbox field for tracking if they fully registered on our registration site. A single line text field to use as a notes column. So far I’ve seen a lot of ‘no’ answers for similar questions, but it seems like this should be possible from the scripting

One of the linked records in my table is linked to a synced table in my base. 3 days ago, when the table synced, all of the records that were populated in that field got automatically deleted. The source table still exists and wasn’t changed. How to get all the values that were deleted back? It also seems like I have no snapshots in my revision history even though I am on a pro plan.

Is it possible to change the displayed layout of buttons when using input.buttonsasync? I’d like to display them in a vertical list, if possible. Pictures included to better illustrate what I’m asking. Any help would be most appreciated, thanks!

Hello! New user here! I have a projects table and a tasks table. In my projects table, I have a record (a single project) that contains a linked records field from my tasks table (multiple tasks related to my single project). I would like to duplicate this record (single project) along with creating duplicate linked records (tasks). As it stands, the “project copy” does not create copies of linked records (“task copies”). Instead, the original linked records are associated with the “project copy.” Essentially I want to make a “project copy,” that contains “tasks copies.” How do I achieve this? Thanks! Edie

I have two tables, one showing teachers/trainers assigned to specific classes. For Example Colume 1 “Classes” (English, Math, etc). Too each class are assigned different teachers (in Colume 2) In a second table I want to plan concrete dates for classes. So I have three colums “Date”, “Class” and a third “Teacher”. Colums “Class” and “Teacher” are linked to my first table. For the colum “teacher” I want to limit the view depending on the choosen value for class (only display the teachers that can teach that class). The view function seems not to help, since the filter/view always depends on the choosen value for class and needs therefore to be dynamic. Basically in a data base i would use a Dimension Table but I could not figure it out in airtabel. Any ideas?

Hey all, Is anyone else having an issue with colors not showing on shared Gantt Chart views? This is an issue that just came up today that has not been an issue before. I have a Gantt Chart view showing a list of projects grouped and colored by their status (On Track=Green, Risk w/Mitigation=Yellow, etc). I have had this view shared for some time without issue, but today I was informed the bars in the Gantt chart are not showing color and are simply white… When I view the Gantt Chart view from my base, the bars are colored correctly in line with their status, but once I open the shared view link, the bars are white, not colored. I have changed the settings regarding the colors and have unshared/re-shared/generated a new link to no avail. Is anyone else having this issue? I want to setup a base for the sole purpose of sending reminders to clients. I would link to my CRM of contacts. There would be say 50 different potential reminders I would want to assign the reminders to multiple people from different client firms On the reminder date I would like an email message to automatically send an email to each person assigned to the reminder I want to make sure I set this up the most efficient way and can I have automated emails go to all the assigned contacts without anyone seeing the others it was also emailed to.

Hi All - this may seem small but it would be so helpful if it was possible to minimize the area in the sidebar where you can create a new type of view. I have so many views now and this area now covers up a 3rd of them.

I am not getting the markdown result while using the web clipper block. Currently, testing it for Linkedin jobs. But getting the simple text result even without the line breaks.

I like this new block, but I’m not sure I really understand how it’s best used. My observations/questions are: It seems like the CSS Selector feature is only usable for pages that have the same format (a la the Twitter profile clipper in this forum). Is that accurate? It seems like the web clips are manual one-time events, meaning that you would have to go the website again to update your table with any new data? Is that correct? Thanks! Tom

I’m having trouble with Zaps being ‘Throttled’ by Zapier. Could this be because the trigger (a new record in a table) is in a table that is acting as a sync source (i.e. there are other bases syncing data from that table). It’s the only reason I can think of for why these zaps are being throttled as they are simple 2-step zaps. Any help or advice much appreciated!

Is there any type of shortcut/hotkey to force a “sync now” in all tables in the base? I often find myself in a situation where I just updated a source base, and am now in the destination base waiting for another table to sync in that base. Thank you!

I have an Employee Directory Base. My employees have professional licenses that have expiration dates. Is there a way to have it notify myself and/or the employee when the expiration date is coming up?

I’m a relatively new user (started last week-ish), and while I love Airtable overall, one part of its behavior is becoming a little frustrating. I’ve got a fairly simple base where I’m tracking events tied to specific clients. My first table is a list of events by date, with the client being selected in a field that’s a lookup from the second table. The problem I’m having is with delays in being able to select an option in that lookup field. Sometimes Airtable is fairly peppy, and the available choices appear in a fraction of a second. Other times I have to wait several seconds for the options to appear. I thought at one point that there might be a difference in responsiveness between tabbing into the field and typing part of the client name to whittle down the list for selection, versus clicking the + icon in that field to pull up the full client list. Hello everyone, I am new to Airtable although not to databases. Thank you in advance for any advice you can give me. I am trying to embed a View of a grid table on a web page. The table gives information about traditional fiddle tunes (name, key, etc.). I had no problem following the instructions and getting the iFrame code. I modified the code slightly to change the width from the default 533 to 1200. My website is being built with RapidWeaver 8.8.3 using Stacks 4.2.2 and Foundation 6.8.4. Everything went well, and when I published the page the View was there and all the controls worked. However, when I looked at the web inspector (using Safari on a Mac running Big Sur), there were some error messages (details shortly). I tried embedding the View on other pages, decreasing third-party involvement until finally I just uploaded an index.html page created in a text editor. Hi Everyone! I am currently trying to automate my tasks for projects. What I would like to do is have a date that a project is starting and then based on when I need specific tasks done - to have another date populate. EX: I am kitting a project on 4/20/2021 this means that I need the gift note for the project to start one week out. How can I have that auto populate when my tasks status of “gift note” is selected. So to reiterate because this is becoming confusing: I have a project with a 4/20 deadline I choose a “single select” task of “get gift note assets” which always will be 2 weeks out from the deadline. How do I get a date to auto populate when I choose a specific task with the specific timeframe needed.

I’m really tired with airtable — is there any option to share base without paying for every person that joins the table. Please give me some insights.

Is it possible to undo a “delete table” action? I carelessly deleted a table when I was playing around with the form design. I thought I can undo this action, but the “History” records actions on table-base. When I clicked “undo”, it only undo the last action of that table, not the whole base. Is there a way to recover the table? (Snapshot was taken twelve hours ago.) BTW, the table I deleted was an empty one. No valuables lost. However, I would like to know the way to recover my table if I do the same thing next time.

All of my tasks have a dependency, but only some show the critical path highlighted in yellow. I cannot figure out why the critical path is showing for some and not the others. Is there a trick to getting the critical path to work on the Gantt view? Thanks in advance.
