I am using DATETIME_PARSE, but it has problems with some months in spanish, as you can see in the screenshot. I am trying to convert those months, but I cant get the way. Any ideas ??

Hello, I am trying to streamline a warehouse inventory count process with location sensitive inventory. In that process I want to be able to have several teams be able to record data of the physical count via form to be recorded in Table A. As there many teams, there will be several instances of the same product being recorded, sometimes even by different teams. I will also have a Table B from which I will have my “expected” counts generated by CSV from 3rd party inventory software. Each product will only have 1 instance in this table. The step I am having a hard time figuring out is getting, essentially a pivot table from Table A that would feed the data from each team into the “Reconcilliation” table so that each time a product is counted in Table A, it updates the total count for that team, for that product in the “Reconcilliation” rather than making a new record for each instance. for example, say I count 10 eggs in Table A. -1 egg is counted in location A and 2 in location B by Te

How can I enter data for records that are linked by a join table? Details: I understand Airtable is kind of lousy at tagging. I’m trying to do something very basic but getting frustrated at how exactly to make it work. I am setting up a series of events, and I want to tag each event with multiple tags, THEN group by those tags. I understand from this and other posts that it’s not directly possible. To whom it concerns: I’m having some issues with the layout of the org chart. When I view it in grid it’s perfect, but because this is based on direct reports, and the president doesn’t have a direct report, he isn’t showing up on the chart. When I use gallery view instead, he is there, but the format is all funky and has spaced team members from specific teams across the chart. Can anyone help me? Signed- the desperate admin assistant

I found a couple of scripts for embedding video in emails - can that work in airtable emails?

Hello - I have done a bit of searching but not quite found what I am looking for. I have a view which is filtered, grouped and embedded as an iframe. If I do some further filtering on the iframe side, then export as csv, I just get the whole original view and not my newly filtered view. Is this by design? or a bug? Is there a workaround? Hi there, sorry, my first language is not english but I’ll try to explain what I would like to achive. I’m thinking about a airtable form which I will provide to our customers on our website. It is on a non-public area so only our clients can access the form (which is important). The process should look like something like: person comes to our order form and puts in his/her unique user id which I send them prior and fills in all the needed information. Then what should happen is: unique id will be identified in airtable and as a result we can sent our stuff (which is a PDF) via automation to several email adresses which where defined when we created the unique user id. This would make sense for you? Where should I look for more information. Every help is more than welcome. Cheers, Sven

Integration w Clients G-Drove Folder holding photos Not working My client set up and gave me access to their Airtable account. They also set up and shared a folder on their Google Drive account with my Google Drive accoun to hold photos to be posted in an Airtable base for editing and discussion. I linked the client’s shared G-Drive folder from my own account. However I can’t seem to upload the photos into a table I’ve set up in the company’s base. Have read the Community Posts and Help articles but can’t figure this out. Grateful for your help on what to do. RS

I’m an experienced developer with years of experience using SQL and relational databases. I’m having trouble figuring out how to do things in Airtable without something like SQL queries. Specifically, right now I would like to delete a number of records, based on a query. In SQL this would look something like this: DELETE FROM table_name WHERE condition ; In this case, I would like the WHERE condition to be an aggregate, so that I can group by two fields, and then delete all but the record with the minimum value in another field. Is there any way to do this in Airtable? So far the only way I can think of would be to export the data, load it into a DBMS, perform the modification, then import it back into Airtable. I really hope that’s not my only option. Thank you!

Hi. I have a table of magazines with issue numbers. I added two more to the original imported list but when I sort by issue number it doesn’t put them in numerical order, they are just staying at the bottom of the list. Any idea what I need to do? Thanks Alison

Hi, have a quick question: can I cange the output type of the formula fieldd? Example: I have a column with e-mail (column type is e-mail), I want to create another column where I would take e-mail string and convert it into Barcode type. I use the formula to take the data from first column but then it has the same type. If I then convert to Barcode, the formula is not working anymore and all new lines are not filled in. So, I’m looking if there is a way use both formula and type changing. Thanks!

When I right click on a record and select ‘Send Record’ I can send that information in the Body of an email to someone via email. This is a very interesting idea as a way of immediately sharing information about a Product to a prospect…but, at the moment when I do this, at the end of the email body there is an embedded link statement ’ View in Airtable’. Can I edit the template email to NOT include/show this link ? I worry a client will click on it and then get pissed that they are having to enter in emails information etc.

Hi All - I love Airtable, but I’ve seemed to hit a wall where, based on my use-case, they have priced me out. I have many bases that have several unique collaborators - these are bases for different client projects, so each base has different collaborators. Now, I’m running out of space, and it’s adding up all the collaborators throughout my bases and telling me I’d have to pay $2,500 per year to upgrade to the next tier. This is totally outrageous, not remotely within a reasonable amount to pay for an upgrade to get more storage space. I’d be willing to pay $10-$15 per month like I do for, say Evernote, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc…but not $209 per month. Is Airtable not for people like me, who use Airtable like I do? I’m interested to know if others use Airtable this way, and how they can continue to use Airtable? Thank you!

The biggest problem I’m having is the lookup phone number field not able to be copied and the non-lookup field not supporting selecting, copying or texting (only call functions). The second biggest issue is not being able to copy the lookup address field and it not being able to open a map app. The lookup fields seem to be mostly useless on Android, is this just me? I can’t click a phone number, email or address, not even to just copy the data. Has anyone figured out a way to make this work for them? I’ve emailed support but it seems like they take a while to respond to requests. Thanks In Advance!

Just started with Airtable, using the free version at the moment on Firefox / Ubuntu. When I log on, Airtable seems to open to a random base in my workspace. Is it possible to set it to open to the workspace screen so I can choose the base I want to use? Thanks! Dianne R
