Hi, I’m looking to create airtable for youth football (soccer) team I’m coaching. I want to keep stats about number of games each player had, number of goals and assists they had. I have a table with all my players in separate rows, and a table with games they played. In the latter one I need a column with goal scorers. I have used Link function to link player name which then is counted against each name showing a number. So that works fine, as long as each player scored only once in a game or had one assist. But if my striker had a hat-trick I’m not able to link his name 3 times in a cell… Is there any other way to do it? cheers

Does anyone know if a Gantt Chart can be configured to show record names by people assigned? My base tracks class names and dates (the primary defining fields for the table) along with people who are assigned to each of those class instances. The people are assigned in a separate column. I’m able to configure a Gantt to show class names, based on the start and end dates. I can even add the assigned people’s names to the label. However, I’d like to show names of people on the left side of the chart, with date range along the top side of the chart, then color blocks would be instances that each person is teaching. I just can’t figure out how to get the left side to organize by person instead of by class. Thank you for any advice!

In a form, I am creating a dropdown (multiple selection) menu. My options seem to be too long and we can’t read them all. Is there a way to fix that?

Does Airtable have any plans to significantly increase the record limits on the Pro plan? I am a huge fan of Airtable, and I use it a lot of small organizational projects. However, the 50k record limit is a real barrier to doing any serious project on the platform. I am working on a database of real estate property records. My county has 150k properties, meaning the base would end up having over 500k records (buyer, seller, property, etc). Tadabase.io offers 1.25M records at their $575/mo plan.

Hi, I’m super new to using formulas. I’d like to do an IF formula for my “Published date” column with the “assigned week” column. So if the dates are less than 2 weeks time it will get “first two weeks” if its more than two weeks it will get the “last two weeks”. My formula: IF({Published date}) < 14, “first two weeks”) ,IF({Published date}) > 14,“last two weeks”) Please advised… Thanks in advance!

I am working on a script that creates a record based on the user input. I am struggling to get a document upload to save with the newly created record. I read the follow thread: How to creat a record while using input.fileAsync Scripting app My question as below: I use this script: Let attachment = await input.fileAsync('Pls upload the cargo packing list') Then I want to create a new record with one field as MultipleAttachment. I want this MultipleAttachment field having the attachment input above by input.fileAsync. As per the API, the MultipleAttachment written format as below: Array<{ url: string, filename?: string, }> How could I achieve my goal? I don’t know how can I have the url of the uploaded file by fileAsync. … and was curious if a solution for this has been created yet. Hey guys, I have a weather station that logs data to an Airtable every 5 minutes. I can easily access daily summaries if I group the records by date/day, but I cannot use them for anything. So, as suggested in this forum, I created another table to act as “pivot”, linked records by date/day, and then used rollups to get minimum, maximum, and averages. What I would like to do is have this system update automatically. I’ve tried to update the linked field, both using the logger (a POST curl) or airtable automations, but it remains unchanged. Is another way to do this? Thank you

Hi there, total newbie here… So I am working on airtable via a different org as a collaborator and I really like it so I want to install it for my own company, this company has many subdivisions providing same service but from different domains. So I have 2 questions. I want to be able to continue to work on my original collab org and my oiwn company airtable at the same time. The data is not related so those airtables do not need to be connected in any way, I just want to be able to log in in both organisations but with different logins at the same time from the same browser. Is this possible? As our company has different divisions, we organise our contacts with a field that defines the division by domain. Now if we want to notify a contact in our airtable is there a way to link this to the domain of the division so it looks like the person generating the notification for a division A send this from a division A email whilst B contact sees this as a division B email? Hi, friends! Okay, I am setting up a group of databases for a client on Airtable. I love it but I am having issues connecting all of them to one another. The app we are building is meant for users to be able to book private charters. There is an additional functionality that will allow the user to submit a route request and then be notified when there is a flight that matches their criteria - ie from Denver, CO to Aspen, CO. So, I have 4 databases. The airport codes. Each city has multiple airport codes associated with it. For example, there are 3 airports associated with “Denver, CO”. The flights. This info flows through directly from admin adding the flights in our app. Notification requests. This info flows through directly from users submitting a request in the app. Users. With all of the user info. Any idea how to connect multiple databases to one specific column? I’m looking to use Airtable as a database for my website that is a marketplace. My website allows neighbors to share referrals with one another. First, I don’t like the design limitations of the “embed view” option…is there an app that you suggest within the AT marketplace that will allow for more customization for both mobile and desktpop? Secondly, and more importantly, I need googlebots to crawl my pages with the referrals on them…and embedding an iframe isn’t going to help me from an seo standpoint. Is there a AT app or work-around solution for people needing the data to be published in a text readable format? Thank you in advance for your help! I’ve been banging my head here for a bit and ready to give up. I am trying to get Page designer PDF output and copy paste it into a word document. I only want three text fields. Name, Title, Description. The output from PDF has a variety of problems if copy past to a new document. All kinds of corrupted characters, combos of “fi” appear to be vectors, not text. So all kinds of words have issues. Dan Gri􀂣ths , 􀂡lled Line Breaks throughout the Description text block. Should be clean text. I tried galley with an embed to see if I could copy/paste html from the embed but the Desctiption field is truncated. I can’t figure this out, is there any way I can get clean output other than CSV. So far the best result is to export PDF, then convert PDF to Word using an online service. This fixes the line breaks but still have corrupted characters and bookmarks. Open new word in Google docs, copy into notepad ++ and back to clean up a bunch of other stuff and I’m finally at clean text

I have created a large database. It has 46 rows and 15 columns. I attempted to download this base as an Excel worksheet. First, I downloaded it as a .CSV file. Then I saved it as an Excel sheet, but the result was very poor. All the rows and columns were out of whack. This does not happen to me with smaller bases, like those with 5 columns. The 5-column bases download neatly as Excel sheets. Why does this not happen this larger base and how can I fix it?

Is it possible to use more than a single logical operator for filtering results? So far, I see there is only the option to filter based on the AND logical operator or the OR logical operator. Is it possible to combine these? For example: WHERE (“Status” contains “active” AND “Due Date” is within “1 month”) OR (“Status” contains “started” AND “Due Date” is “empty”) Otherwise, I need two separate filters and cannot see projects side-by-side easily.

I have tried to schedule automation, but I can’t find out how to describe the record ID, when using “changing a record” as action. I would like to change ALL the records that has been completed back to incomplete. Q2: How can I summarize the values in a specific field (Score aktivitet) based on the field “Device.ID” In other words, how can I calculate how many points the user (Device.ID) has in “Score akivitet”, “Score sammen” and “Score meningsfylt”? I have imported a database from CSV to airtable and all the links are broken. is there a way to fix this?

I’m trying to find a way to visualize data across multiple tables in a Flow Chart or Org Chart type view. Imagine one table is a list of projects, and a second table is a list of teams, and lastly a list of people. People belong to a team, and a team is assigned a project. I wanted to create a view that lists the projects, and then draws lines to the teams assigned to each project and then for each team draws a line to each member of the team. From what I can tell the flowchart and org chart apps only work from one self-linking table. Is there anyway to do this on airtable?

Has anyone made sync tables available to all? Like ‘calendars of interest’ in Google Calendar. All sorts of reference data could be pulled into an Airtable base via sync instead of maintaining locally. I haven’t come across any platform or marketplace to browse such tables. Are there any? I guess individual providers could make their own tables available if they chose to. Are there any? I’m sure someone has already thought about all this.

I am having trouble using the fill handle to copy data quickly into a set of cells. (Fill handle - the little crosshairs you get when you select a cell, that allows you to be able to copy from one cell to another by simply dragging - see support article here) I’m not trying to get it to do series copying, where it continues a series or sequence. I would just like to copy the identical data from one cell to several others that are adjacent. I have done this many times in my Airtable work and suddenly it doesn’t appear to want to select multiple cells, let alone use the fill handle to copy. Stranger: In one base it’s working fine, but in another base it won’t work at all, in any of the tables - I drag from the corner and nothing happens. My permissions on these bases are the same. I saw one other post about this but it was closed without being solved. Thanks for any ideas to try.

I would like make a “filter” for the Pet attribute so that only the pets that belong to the customer I already selected would be able to be selected For example, if I selected a customer ABC, and he/she has two pets, when I select the records for “Pet” attribute, I’d like to only see the two pets he/she has rather than every pet in the Pet table. Hi, i need your help I’m in the middle of a project and I need to track when the status of each record was modify in order to track the time between phases. I have a column in which i track the status of each sub-project (Received, Processing, Ready) and i will like to analyze the average time is taking me on each of the phases. In the activity panel of each sub-project, i can see how many day ago was change each category, is there any way to transform that data to several independent cells? We are shifting from Salesforce to a much simpler and easier system on Airtable. I need help or a bit of consulting on how to do the following: We have 75 member companies in our small association. I want to have a way to add a member company (with a key contact) Then, let that person add up to 100 or so more contacts - with a password or unique url. And, let the key contact look at their list of contacts - at any time - and add or delete names. Can someone point me to resources to help?
