Hi Is anyone having problems with rollups in linked tables created from linking them to a synced table in the destination base. Info showing in my synced destination table but no info showing in the linked table

Dear Airtable community, I want to share a base but the view overview on the left hand side collapsed so it is not noticeable. Alternatively I could also just share a dedicated few but I also want the apps for the base to be included. Can I add them to a view? Sharing the base with the view overview collapsed by default would be better since the link has already been created and shared. Thank you!!

Hi—I’m wondering if there is a way to remove all the attachments in a field from a subset of records. I have created a view of records with this subset based on the age of the record, and anything that is in this view can safely have the attachments removed (we’re on a Pro plan and I’m trying to do some maintenance to not use up all of our storage space). I’m thinking there is a way to do this via script, and perhaps even more useful, add that script to an automation. TIA!

We pay hundreds of 1099 independent contractors for doing storm response work. We reimburse them for expenses and time. Is there a way to export the data to each one individually so they are receiving a breakdown of their payment?

So, I use Airtable to keep track of concerts I book. I have 3 tabs in my base (SHOWS, VENUES, LOCAL BANDS). Once a concert has happened, I archive it which separates it from the rest. I like to keep all the info for each show available so I can refer to it in the future if needed. My SHOWS tab is linked to the other 2 tabs to easily populate the cells. The problem I’m running into is on my LOCAL BANDS & VENUES tabs, every show I have confirmed for a certain band stays in the “Confirmed Shows” column regardless if it’s active or archived. So eventually, it will look like some of these bands have 10 upcoming shows with me when in reality, they might have 1 or 2 coming up, with 8 in the past. What I want to do is figure out a way to have that record leave the “confirmed shows” column once it’s been archived without deleting them from the archived event. Is this even possible??

Hi, this follows on from another question (here: Can I bulk-add labels?). I am sure my terminology is all wrong here - possibly why I can’t find the answer to this question already! Probably best to ask in example form. Within a base, I have one table for organisations (their contact details, names associated with, countries they work in, issues they deal with, actions they have taken) and one that details specific actions (date, country of concern, issues involved, etc). The field for actions taken in the ORGS table is linked with the different actions on the ACTIONS table. I’d like to have the same labels in the “countries” field on the ORGS table show up in the “countries” field in the actions table, and similarly with the “issues” fields for both. Ultimately we want to be able to click on one of these countries and see everything - all orgs who work there, all actions

Hi Everyone! I’m new with AirTable and i would thank your help a lot. Here’s what i would like to configure: We operate in multiple citites, we want to build B2B CRM. I would like to have multiple databases based on location, (for example: new york, boston database) and if the status of a specific record matches the “partner” status criteria i would like that row to be copied to the “Partner info” base. So all of our partners information would stay in one base and we could easily manage our onboarded partners in one place. How would you set it up? Thank you for your help!

Hello, I’m not a new AT user and I’m not unfamiliar with database structures and how to manipulate them, but I’m running into a small problem with a new job. I’ve been tasked with organizing a large warehouse and while I have managed to use AT to get a handle on much of the day to day processes, there is a particular report that my superiors are asking for that I cannot figure out how to easily generate from my current data. The report they are looking for is a ‘shipping/receiving’ style report that lists each individual S/N that has either come into the warehouse or gone out. The problem arises in that the same S/N can go ‘out’ or come ‘in’ multiple times. I currently have an ‘Inventory’ table with a unique ID of each S/N. I have a ‘logistics’ table with each container or truck that comes to the warehouse (each truck can have both ‘in’ and ‘out’ S/N on it) The end result needs to be a ‘spreadsheet’ type report that lists columns as; S/N

Hi Airtable Community, To build an email campaign tracker I would like to use Airtable forms to log leads. However, matching a lead with an email isn’t as easy as I thought. My current solution is to list all the emails and campaigns in one view. In this view I have a Linked Record column which connects to the listing of the leads: In the table of the Leads I created the form to log the leads. To match the lead with the right email and campaign I have to search for the corresponding body and campaign. However, some emails in different campaigns have the exact same email body. Hello, I have automated a form to be sent to participants when their record enters a particular view. So far this has worked pretty reliably. However, the last time I sent it, while the recipient received it and completed it, I cannot see him answers in Airtable. I even tried to re-send, he completed it again, and still no response in Airtable. Any idea what might be going on? Thank you!

I cant update field details in airtable recently, but I can do it previously.

In my [Workers] table, I just copied 6,000 cells from formula field {All employers for automation} to a link records field {All employers new} which is linked to the table [Employers]. All of the text strings in {All employers for automation} were taken directly from a linked records field {Temp employer} which is also linked to [Employers]. 5,700 of them went through with no problem and linked back with the original record in [Employers] no problem. About 300 of them, though, failed to link and created a new record with the same name in [Employers]. Why would that be? Am I just asking too much of AT? (to be precise, i did this for three columns at the same time, totaling 18,000 records copied and linked. the other items were serial numbers and matched perfectly with their counterpart). Hello, I have a question in regards to linking fields which I can’t say I have any experience with yet. I want to link the outstanding compliance field within our listing tab into the SOLD tab within our properties base so the admin team don’t have to flick back and forth between listed and sold (my main aim is to save us time). The sold tab will populated via our commission sheet (form) that the agent is required to complete when they sell a property. How do I link the outstanding compliance field into the sold tab (I find linking fields confusing!) AND is there a way that Airtable can recognise that the listed compliance belongs to the particular listing that has been sold via a record ID or something? Please let me know if you can help. Anyone using Integromat to send emails based to person in a record based on the status of a record (status = single select drop down)? If so, is there anyway to set a trigger for a new record in a view (like Zapier & Automate) instead of using the timer in Integromat? Problem with the timer is it uses so many operations (monitoring) even when it doesn’t trigger an email. For example: Say I have 5 status views that trigger different emails depending on status of the record and I have Integromat set to check every 1 minute. That is 300 operations per hour or 7,200 operations a day! The operation would only be triggered between 50~100 times per day. I understand I can increase the monitoring time or set a schedule to decrease operations, but the status can change at anytime and need the email to go out ASAP. Hope that makes sense. Thanks

But now these handles suddenly seem disappeared. Does anyone know what is going on here? Best regards,

I see when sharing a grid view link, users can’t see and therefore can’t click on the hidden fields, but when I create a base view link, the blue box with the hidden fields can be seen and clicked on. Is there no way to hide the hidden fields in base view? I was hoping to give users just 1 link so they can see the whole base with all the tables. If I can’t hide the hidden fields (with lots of formula workings), I’ll have to create 23 grid view links, 1 for each table! Hoping I’m missing something obvious here. Any help would be greatly appreciated it!

Hi, Just got set up with Enterprise and we had a workspace added to the account but I can’t figure out how to add a workspace under the enterprise umbrella. Anybody know how that happens?
