I am new to Airtable so please be patient. I have my contacts for clients loaded into my Airtable. I want to send them all a survey. These are clients I work with regularly so this is not considered spam. Their responses will dictate how we will conduct business going forward. If I send a survey through Airtable, it keeps ending up in spam. I tried using a google form but, it limits me to sending out 100 emails at a time. I have thousands of clients that will receive the survey. Is there a way to send the survey through Airtable and have it go to their in box?

I am aware that when I share a grid view, the person whom I share it with can only view and cannot edit it. Is there a way to enable the person to edit the shared grid view?

I was collaborating on a table with another free user…and it is quite a complicated table, but was created by my collaborator. I upgraded my account to the paid premium account, and I can apply the premium features to the tables that I created myself but not the one shared with me by the creator that I collaborate with. Even when he added me as a “creator” designation, it still shows that I have some tables in a free account. How would I resolve this?

I want to display the map, but allow filters to be put on it. e.g. business type, or days open (which are fields in my database how can I do this? Thanks.

I want to display this view only externally to allow others to search my database. How can I do this? I don’t want them to see all the underlying data

Hi, I’m trying to write a custom app that will visualize data held in linked records in my base. The base captures interactions between systems and I want to show this as a UML Sequence diagram. I wrote a script app that generates all the UML diagram script but I want to be able to display the diagram itself when a user clicks on an interaction record. I’ve taken the URL preview custom app as a base as I’m basically rendering in an iFrame the visualization using various javascript/css libraries. But I can’t traverse the base to access linked records without either: a) getting a meta-data not loaded error if I use queryResult.getRecordById(…) b) Rendered more/fewer hooks error if useRecords(queryTable) and find my record in this result. The code for approach (a) is using an interaction record var activityLinks = interaction.getCellValue('Activities'); var activities = activityLinks.map( actLink => activityQueryResult.getRecord

We use linked records to create sub-tasks (the tasks are in one table, sub-tasks are in another table where the entries link to a task) However, when you look at all the subtasks for a given task, you cannot filter out “completed” subtasks. As a result, it crowds the view. One solution is to unlink the subtask once it’s completed, but then you can never go back and figure out what task that subtask belonged to Is there any field we can create in the Subtask table that will capture the Task it is linked to, and then preserve that information even when it’s unlinked? Hi there I have just come across the airtable search app. The background to my question is that I run my own (very small) recruitment/staffing agency and I have 1000’s of CV/Resume documents. Whenever a client gives me a new vacancy I will run a boolean search within my existing Recruitment CRM/ATS product and it will search through the CONTENT of each pdf/word document and show me matching candidates e.g. I might type… (Java OR c++) AND (developer OR programmer OR “software engineer” AND (bank* OR “hedge fund”) …and it would search within my 10’000+ pdf/word documents and present me with the documents that fit the criteria. Does anybody know if the airtable search app can search within an attachment in a table or can it only search the text within each block/table? Many thanks and warmest regards Tom

I am trying to compare a value from one table against that value in a separate table to see if that value is on the one table. I did find code to get this to work and it seemed as though it was working, however I am finding that there are matching values in both tables that are not showing. It looks like the code is refusing to look at or compare values beyond the first 60. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Best I can come up with would be to have one column that is creation date a second column this is editable date a third column which will display the second column if it exists, and the first column otherwise Unfortunately, this would mean that the place I edit the date would be different than the place I view the date

I have a table of conversation summaries. Each summary recrod has a single select Category column and various columns of Interest. I would like to print a report by category, such that each Category name is printed once and there would be a sequence of records, each with it’s important fields. I am using page designer at the moment, and it almost works. Here are two pages from the reports Category I can live with the category name being repeated for each record. What I can’t live with is each record taking an entire page when most records are only a few lines long. Any way I get it to put as many records as will fit onto each page?

Hello all. First post to the community so fingers crossed! I’m trying to use a system of nested tags within Airtable. I would like to use a simple Child - Parent table to represent multiple layers of relationships (which works great with the Org Chart block by the way). For example, first table like this: CHILD / PARENT UK / Europe London / UK Westminster / London Downing Street / Westminster etc. I then might have a diary table where I list places I’ve visited. For example: DATE / LOCATION 10th May / Downing Street etc. I’d then like to be able to filter by when I’ve been in Europe. Clearly Downing Street should count, as you can see from the Parent/Child table. I’ve been trying various lookups / rollups etc. to figure this out and can’t manage it. Any tips much appreciated! Is anyone else having an issue ordering their workspaces? Every time I move a workspace, it falls back into its original position or a different workspace is moved. The goal is to move my workspaces into alphabetical order, but they keep randomly shuffling when I try to reorder them.

The person whose name our Airtable account was under left the company and never made anyone else the new owner. Is there a form or documents we can send in to transfer the account to a new owner?

I have a calendar view in my AirTable base. The calendar shows activity based on a date. Currently it shows individual records that have activity on that date, but I would like to show a grouping per date instead of individual records: Example: October 13th Calls Made: 102 Texts Sent: 133 Emails Sent: 78

Hi everyone!, I’m getting stucked in this problem and I hope you all can help me with some guidance. In my company, I’m in charge of controlling the number of tasks the employees can do in a month. In order to organize this, we use a webapp that schedules the tasks. The problem is, I have to check manually person by person to see if the exceed the maximum number of tasks. Is there an integration, a source of coding or anything that can import this info from the webapp to airtable? Hi I am new to airtable so I wonder if I can somehow get all records from selected bases with status “today”. I got different bases for different topics and usually I use kanban to easily see what to do. Usually I use kanban status “today” for tasks that need to be done today. How can I see in one place all tasks with status “today” from different bases? Thank you Radek

Hi, I am new to AirTable sync and am exploring its features. I noticed that when I add a new row in the source table, the sync table doesn’t reflect that added row. Is that the way it is supposed to be? Or am I supposed to do something extra to sync the added row? LL

I have been using the Airtable as ATS, and creating the profile page for our registered customers using the Page Designer feature. It is possible to edit the layout from Page Designer Edit page, but I don’t see a way to edit the content of the fields directly from Page Designer Edit page. For editing the content of the fields on the Page Designer, I always have to go back to the record and edit the fields to make changes. Is there any way to edit the fields directly from Page Designer edit page?

Hi, We would like to set up some collaborators to see 1 view only and have the ability to comment and upload attachements to that view. We do not want them to have access to the rest of the base. I have a form where users can post their time-based results. To make sure data is valid I use 3 fields in the form representing hours, minutes and seconds. So I end up with 3 integers in my table. How to I make a DURATION format (h:mm:ss) out of these fields?

Hello I want to be able to send the client a grid view of a script to a client, and I want him to approve it or not, as well as put comments, but without having to enter my entire base. It is possible?

I am a newbie to AirTable. I am trying to design on Asset inventory. I have the parent equipment table, an equipment_model table, a locations table, and an asset table. All categories of the equipment share a common set of attributes (like Make, model, serial number), at the same, some other equipment has completely different sets of attributes (like frequency-range, group/Ch, assigned_frequency, etc…). I would like to track all the attributes/fields by equipment categories. What would be the best way to design the inventory? Please, see screenshots of the equipment and equipment model table
