Hi guys, I’m in the process of setting up a product hosted on Airtable, selling the product through Gumroad (https://gumroad.com). Now, the idea is that people who purchase my product, automatically get added to the Airtable’s collaborator list using their email. Is there a bright mind who knows if there is a possibility of integrating Gumroad with Airtable (or some other external solution)? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi all, I’ve been struggling with the SET_TIMEZONE feature for about 20 minutes now and frankly I’m over it, so I’m coming to you all. I’m trying to display the times that some orders were made in the local time zone of the person that made the order. I have three columns: Time Zone (which is the local time zone of the buyer), Order Time & Date (CET) (which is my time zone. all time stamps arrive in CET), and Order Date & Time (Local) (which is the field I am trying to calculate). Editors cost me–the owner–money. So how can I stop them from inviting new editors?

Sharing a base between a paid and a free user? on this thread there’s huge positive sentiment for a new permission-level on bases, whereby I as a paid user can invite people to have minor box-checking / status changing, comment adding functionality. In my instance, i’m maintaining a base for a tech business, and I work with developers and other collaborators who I want to give limited access so they can update tasks they’re assigned to etc. I don’t see why this thread was closed automatically, when the last reply from Airtable was years ago, and where there’s message upon message from people echoing the same sentiment with no response?

Hi, I’m creating two forms- one that an interviewer fills out at the start of the day, and one that they fill out at the end of the day. I would like both of those forms to go to ONE record which would be based on the date. This would include all the information from both forms. When I made the two forms and tested they each created their own record and the date is in there twice. Thank you!

I have a simple date in my table and I simply want to have the name of the weekday displayed (e.g. in another column). Does this work with a formula?

Hi there Airtable fam, I’m curious if there is a way to create an Airtable form that acts like a cloud based document? The use case here is I teach an online course and I’d love to have students submit reflections on certain lessons but I’d like them to be able to see and edit their reflections whenever they want to. Effectively allowing them to pull up the form at any time and see what they’ve written previously. Almost alike a way that Airtable can automatically save progress and allow the user to revist their posts? I think I might have to use a Google-doc-like experience but I don’t want to force people to have a gmail account. Thanks in advance :slightly_smiling_face:

I’d like to do a search across tables and download the results as a csv, or at least be able to extract some of the information I find (let’s say, all the email addresses of the contacts that come out of my search using the search block). Is there a way to do that?

I’m trying to find a way make Airtable use the info in one field to add an image to the image field by automatically searching the web for an image and select the first image that comes up. Either by script or some other suggestion. Any direction would help. Thanks.

I have created a PHP website driven by AirTable. I have a test subdomain which is password protected with a .htpasswd file and so this connects directly to AirTable API so users can see the changes they are making. To make the changes go live I created a compile script available on the test subdomain, which queries the API for everything we want, and turns them into json files which I put in the appropriate place so that the live website can just read these files with PHP and create the website. This works well but the website does use the attachment URLs for things like website images and attachments. I am aware of the fact these URLs are not reliable and may be subject to change but for the moment a simple recompile would update and make everything well again. Now though, I have a more high traffic website and I cannot take the risk of attachment URLs changing so I need some sort of solution which lets me download the images and put them somewhere else

Does anyone know how/ if it is possible to highlight multiple fields and move them over together? I know in excel/google sheets this is very simple but I am having trouble with Airtable. The use case is that let’s say I decided to create 3 new fields for a table and accidentally added them on the right and now want to re-order them. To group the 3 together and move all the way to left side it looks like I have to do it 1 by 1 for now. Any ideas?

Dear Community, I am new to Airtable. I am making my first block. I have a table with multiple fields. I want to make a Pie Chart with just two of the fields. I made a pie chart from the table but it includes all the fields in the table. How can I select just two of those fields? Thank you in advance for your help. Rob

HI all, I’m hoping for a little direction here. I have managed to write a script to retrieve a single record from Base B based on a Date/Time field in Base A. My problem is that I can’t figure out how to then extract a value from that response. The response looks like this (I have REMOVED record Specifics). I am trying to extract ‘Height’ 3.49 in this case, which is a number in Base B. I then plan to update the initial record in Base A using that figure (I think I can do that bit once I can get the number out of the response). I have copied a template with good data to start. I have my own data in a spreadsheet. If I organize the spreadsheet to match the table will Airtable recognize items with the same first column and offer to NOT import, or merge the data?

I need to populate a field in a table using the latest form entry for a particular record. What is the easiest way to pull the latest information from one table into another table? See screenshots below: Here is one screenshot with information from one table that I want to pull to another table. As you can see, there are TWO entries that are ratings for a certain project. I ONLY want to pull the “Final: Avg. Rating” field for the most recent entry for a particular project into another table. I have a Date Submitted column, as well as an Auto Number column. Hello, I have a base setup that tracks campaigns (each campaign has an individual record) that are currently live, upcoming, and completed based on dates we input. I’m using a single select field for the phase it’s in (live, upcoming, completed). The table is grouped by the phase. Each record has a start date and end date entered. How can I make it so each record is automatically in the correct phase based on the start/end date I input? For example, let’s say today’s date is 8/28/20, and Record A has a start date of 8/1/20 and an end date of 8/30/20, I would want this record to be in the “live” phase right now, and on 9/1/20, I want it automatically moved to the “completed” phase. I see that if I upgrade to the Pro plan (I’m on the $10/month plan), there is something called Page Builder that will let me design and create a PDF file. I’m wondering if there is something similar that would let me design and create an HTML file from a view that could then be used as part of a web page. Thanks!

Hi! How can I delete a row on a Mac?

Hi all I have a rollup field that shows the last order for a particular sku. I’d like to link to this record. I can link to all orders for this SKU as you can see with the linked Daily Orders field and this would be fine if it showed the latest order first but it doesn’t. Anyhow, because the order number is a text value, I first convert it to a number so that I can use max(value) in the rollup field and then I convert it back to it’s text form:- I’d like to link to this record but I can’t find an automated way to do this. Once my Latest OrdNum formula field is populated I know I can change the field type to lookup and it will work, but only for the records that there at the moment. Any ideas on how this could be solved please. Thanks Claire

Is there a script to deduplicate content, then select the rows to keep based on a timestamp or another count field? Eg., In a table of social media data the content is duplicated, but the dedupe block doesn’t allow me to group content then choose to keep only the most recent.

Thanks in advance for any answers I might get to this. In summary I have: 1 Table 1 Grid View with all the data 1 Grid View with the trigger for zapier (Last Modified Time is Today) What zapier does is when I get a new record on the “Trigger” view it sends an email to all salespeople. My “problem” is, I updated a record on the Grid View with all the data and the Last Modified Time is Today but it didn’t send the email as it usually does. Is it because it isn’t actually a new record, and just an update? Is that why it didn’t work for that specific result?

I know that there is a find and replace option which lets you find and then replace with text you write in, but is there a way to have a script search through a table to find a record then replace some of the data (not the stuff searched for) with datd searched for and found on another table. i.e Rather than replace (X) with (Y), replace (Whatever is in field A on a specific record) with (something found in Field B on a linked record) which is on an second table.
