Hi! We made an Airtable form and we have a custom domain that we want to mask the form’s URL. We can get our URL to redirect, but we get an error if we try to actually mask the Airtable URL. Does Airtable block this? Our domain name provider says it is on Airtable’s side.

The Google Drive lookup for attachments displays a random file/folder structure, not the file/folder structure in Google Drive. Furthermore, not all of the files/folders are displayed. This is a change because for a long time, I was able to look up attachments in my Google Drive and the display showed the identical file/folder structure in Google Drive which made it easy to find and attach the right file. Something changed or am I doing something wrong?

This is the last post I found in the “community” on this topic with any clear response, as of July 2019. Is this still the status, or has there been an update? Hey! :wave: I’m troubleshooting an issue with my base setup, and a bit stuck. Some context: I have a base with 2 tables: TV Shows and Episodes The TV Shows table includes different shows (duh), while the Episodes table includes some metadata about the individual episode The TV Shows table is populated by Zapier, which pushes new episodes to the base using an RSS feed (Create Record) The RSS feed does not include the TV Show it belongs to. Thus when the record is created in the Episodes table, there is no corresponding TV Show field that would allow me to create a linked record to the Episodes table. I’m basically trying to figure out how I can automatically add the TV Show field to a new record when it is created in the Episodes table. Ideally, Zapier would allow me to manually add the TV Show to the zap that is triggered to create the new Airtable record. And now that I type it out, maybe it’s more of a Zapier problem than an Airtable problem :)… but will create the topic

I ask, as they simply seem to be a direct mirror of Airtable with lesser functionality but perhaps I am way off the mark. Any/all thoughts/comments welcome.

Hey everybody, I have a question. Let’s just say I update or add an airtable record which checks a certain column title. For example, I have a column title Mon_1, which I’m basically trying to say this weeks Monday at 1pm, attached. Here’s my question: Is it possible to have a formula that says if this column is checked, then generate a date and time for the column title? Today is Tuesday June 9th, so if Mon_1 was checked it would then create a date format for June 15th at 1pm? Let me know if this is unclear, but if this can be done I would be so grateful!

I’d like to figure out a formula to predict my salary over time with a cost of living raise which compounds each year. Can’t quite figure it out. Any advice?

This feature has been removed as of April 2020, as explained in this support doc. But why? This was a very handy feature, and I still need it. How else can the same thing be achieved? Is there a way? It can be done manually, but can new links to be sorted automatically (most recent first)?

I published my airtable grid on my website but want to block viewers from being able to download the grid. How do I do this???

Am trying to export or call two functions Eg. (teachers.js and student.js) that are link up to index.js but it throws error initializeBlock should only be called once. Is it possible to query or filter the revision history? I’d like to use this for Agile planning, and we want to know if stories are getting moved from sprint to sprint and why.

I’m doing a simple budget with Airtable, and when I had done it previously there had been a summary bar at the bottom that summarized the currency fields. Now I don’t see any such thing. Is that only part of Pro now? Did they take it away entirely? Or do you need to manually add in the summary bar?

Hi, I have a 3rd party program that documents all the incoming phone calls received via my client’s website and various other relevant information (UTM parameters, status call, status duration etc.). I tried to integrate these details into a CRM dashboard in Airtable via a webhook, but it doesn’t work. In order to make sure that the data arrives the way it should from that 3rd party program, I integrated it with Google Sheets and the information indeed comes through just fine. I even tried to integrate that Google Sheets table as a trigger, so the data would be received by the Airtable dashboard, but it doesn’t work, either. Any ideas what could be wrong? Please help me!

I have a table with {date_approved} column, now I want to summarize the count for this per week. For example: {date_approved} | {count} 06/01/2020 | 5 06/02/2020 | 5 06/03/2020 | 5 06/04/2020 | 5 06/05/2020 | 5 06/06/2020 | 5 06/07/2020 | 5 06/08/2020 | 5 06/09/2020 | 5 Let’s say 06/01/2020 and 06/08/2020 is Monday. 06/07/2020 is Sunday. Total count: 35 (Monday to Sunday) At present, this block is only summarizing the count per week, Monday to Sunday. But I it to count/group from Friday to Thursday by default. Is this possible? If not, what should I do to get the same effect? I just want to get a summary of {count} each custom week range {date_approved}. Thanks!

I’m trying to make gantt chart that calculates how long different product will take to make. Depending on how busy the workshop is we might work in the weekends - however if there is a national holiday or something similar we’ll not work. I’ve made comma separated iso dates for all holidays. I can easily calculate an end date with the WORKDAY(startDate, numDays, [holidays]) but I’m trying to find a way to calculate an end date if we worked in the weekends but not holiday. So basically is it possible to only exclude the holidays?

Hi there, I have a list of properties that I want to track how often I send them direct mail. I want to be able to compile a list of properties, export into CSV, then upload the advertising and send. It appears you cannot filter out an exact match, so if I have a property included in multiple lists, i’m getting all of the lists instead of one specific list. (see photos). How would you suggest I tackle this?

Is it possible to conditionally shade fields themselves instead of a color line on the left side of the entry? Those are NOT catching my eye at all, and I need them to!

Good afternoon to everybody, I have developed a database with a shared view lo be uploaded to a web site, the problem that I am having is that when I expand a linked filed in the shared view it only shows me the primary key of the linked field , and I can´t see the other fields of the linked field. Does anyone have any solution? Thank you Benito

We work with breweries and their beers and want to have very extensive fields for both. Thing is we also work on timelines with breweries and want to have some sort of reminder/dashboard system where we can track their responses and deadlines, etc. Multiple users will be using it. We were hoping to also have the ability to store emails we sent from Outlook into a given contact’s record. I believe that is possible but I wanted to hear from others how well that works. Basically what we are looking for in a custom relationship database with some contact management features. Airtable is the first product I’m looking at and hope it suits us because it looks very slick and affordable.

I’m trying to make a script that’ll work along side the Gantt chart. I want the script to automatically to find the record above the current record and push that into a link field to create a dependency. Does anyone know if that possible? I’ve been looking through the documentation, and haven’t found anything to get me started.

Hello there, I want to send a mail (from Gmail) with miltiple attached files ->to zapier mail address which then ->creates a new entry in my airtable with all the attachments showing up in the airtable entry. So far: when I send a mail with only one attachment - it is there - works when I send a mail with more than one attachment - I get this unnamed attachment “picture” What I am trying to achieve: to have an e-mail address to which all my invoices are sent so I can manage payments in Airtable. Can you help? I tried parser and adding formatter but I am new to this kind of thing so it didn’t work for me. Thanks in advance

I have a table which is a collection of contacts which are family units (kids & parents/guardians). I had planned on establishing relationships between records by having a “guardian” field which would be a link to a record in the same table. This works great. Problem is that when doing that between 2 tables it creates a linked field in both tables so I get bidirectional link. When linking to the same table I don’t get that bidirectional link - the “guardian” record can’t see what children it has. I feel like I’m missing something simple but I can’t think this morning. Any way to get the bidirectional link in the same table?
