Hi everyone, I want to have beta features to share and embed blocks on other websites. It looks like they exist and I applied it from here(https://airtable.com/shrLK2dGvhx46S6bU) a couple weeks ago, however I haven’t got any reply yet. Does anyone know what’s going on with this beta feature? Do I have to just wait to access it? Thanks

Is there a way to set up Kanban table to provide notifications of a specific status change. I.e. provide notice to a specific Slack channel of a change from status X to Y, instead of any general changes to the status overall. Thanks

Hi, community, I’m looking for advice on a better way to organize my process for clients. (new to the process) Right now I handle this in two different bases but I’m hoping I can have all info in one. I have a client base then an inventory base. I work in the interior design/real estate is the industry. I have a client base that has the job description and address of the job that I do for a client, then I have another base that has inventory for the client and the associated address of the job. Is there a way to have one base that shows the following path: client “A” info then I can drill down to client “A” particular job via address, then drill down to that addresses inventory sheet? I hope this makes sense. It seems silly to go to one base and put in all the details for the client except the inventory (which is done in another base) I’d love to handle it all in one if it’s possible then I can see all details for each client. Hi all! Working on a project where I have different tables: Events People I create an event that has a start date and an end date. After creating the event, I add the event team by adding team members (table.people) to a linked field. In order to see who is added to an event, I would like to create a Gantt view that has the following layout: Event shown from start date to end date When collapsing the event, each team member is shown separately, also with the start and end date I cannot seem to setup this view. Got as far as displaying the Gantt with the ‘full team’ (showing all team members linked to the event in one field, instead of the team showing separately). Is there a workaround for this?

Please explain the Revision and Snapshot History to me. Does this mean that in the free version, any changes that I make to my records will be lost after 2 weeks? I am using this (or hope to) to track gardening, i.e. name of plant, location, when planted, attaching picture and tag info, etc. just something simple. I’m just concerned that if I update the info with new date and such that they will disappear after 2 weeks. Is this the case?

I have a table of subtasks called subtasks. this is the todo list for the whole team. I used self-linking to get predecessors setup, and so I have: a rollup field showing the predecessor end date (PredEnd) a manual task start date (START) a manual task duration in days (LT) a formulated task completion date that adds the task duration in workdays to the start date (END) What I want to do now is create a scripting block that can load all the records in this table only, and compare each records PredEnd vs START, and if they are different, to update the START using the correct PredEnd value. Currently I have a form, where I want to be able to limit the options in a single select, based on the option selected in the previous single selected. My example is: I am a rock climber and use a Airtable to base to log all my routes. The first single select in the form is for the style of climbing, eg sport, boulder, etc. I want the next single select (grade) to show different options, depending on the style of climbing, eg the sport grading system, the bouldering grading system. Hey, Im only doing from Zapier using Airtable Find records as a action. My question is: What happens if 6 People at the same time request data from Airtable with Zapier Find records. Wille the first 5 go through without any error and only the 6th call will be an error? If yes what happens if I activate the Autoplay in Zapier for error Zaps in my Zap task history? Will it retry with Zapier to find record couple of seconds later and will it then be working?

I am trying to set up a user log-in page in Adalo but where the Adalo DB lets me chose between Create a User, or Log-in a User. I am only allowed to Create a User using Airtable as my DB. I can add a Log-in action when connected to my User Table in Airtable but I am unable to remove the Create User Action so every time I try to log in it creates that same user again… What am I doing wrong? Hi, the number of views on our airtable base is getting very unwieldy. I’d love to be able to see who created a view in order to check in with them and determine if they’re still using it or if they could make it a personal view. Is it possible to do this? Thank you.

Still putting together a Base to track my Fitness Instructor business. I have tables for Client Names, Classes Offered, and an Income table that tracks which clients attended which classes and how much each paid for each class. I also have Assistant Instructors for each class. There is one Assistant in each class I teach, but it can be any of 3 different people. I track who the Assistant was for each class in the Classes Offered table. Assistants are paid a percentage of the total income from that class. Now, with these 3 tables, I’m at a loss to figure out whether or not Airtable is able to track how much each of the instructors is owed (total and per class), and if Airtable can also track my payments to the Assistants, and keep a running balance of each of their “accounts”. I’ve not found any examples of Airtable being used for accounting tasks, so I greatly appreciate any help in determining of Airtable is the right tool for the job; OR if it is, some assistance in designing the Bas

The Web clipper block has an accompanying Airtable web clipper Chrome extension. I would love to try it out, but I haven’t dared to yet. To be able to install the extension, you naturally need to accept the set of permissions it requires to operate, but with the current set of permissions it asks for, Airtable gets access to absolutely everything in my browsing history, including all the content in all the tabs, online banking, web based chat apps, etc. I might be mistaken here, but from the description of features that the web clipper enables, it sounds like it would only need full access to the current tab that the user is on when they invoke the extension. The API for full access to the current tab is available at: https://developer.chrome.com/extensions/activeTab. Is changing to use that permission something the Airtable team would be open to?

Hi, I am wondering if it’s possible to have personal/private fields. We track all of our campaign scheduling/planning through Airtable + reporting and revenue. What we now need is to calculate commission per sales person for each campaign record and have this information be private/unviewable to the rest of the team. Is there a way I can create a field that can only be viewed by specific users? Can it be done via a locked/personal view maybe or would this person need to create their own private base and then copy and paste the information across to it? Thanks, Rachel
