Hi. I want to create an agreement form to sign. The form will be made in fillout. There will be fields for name, email address etc to fill in in the form, however I'd like the legal agreement text to be automatically in one field in AirTable that will also show up in the Fillout form. Is there some way to do it or am I going about it a wrong way?

I have been looking for a solution to the issue of creating multiple-page quotations in Airtable. I have a quotation that is 6 pages long. I tried hacking the page designer by using custom-sized pages and dropping page size images as backround to create the various pages. It just doesn’t look right and never will. Also, you can’t email the quote directly from airtable which is an extra pain. I have been trying to evaluate Formstack as a solution. I have followed all the instructions in the videos but when I open the output document or save it in an attachment field in airtable the documents are black. I have tried to get help from formstack but they are taking an age to get back to me and I can’t go through what I am doing so that they can help me identify why it is not working. Has anybody else had this problem or offer any possible solutions? Thanks in advance Sean

Apologies - it's hard to write a subject line in what I need help with. I am trying to make a shotlist for a photoshoot, pulling product information from a non-editable base. Some products will be in multiple shots. Meaning product A could be in shot 1 (solo), shot 2 with Product B, and Product C. I am trying to figure out how to have Product A filter to be shown in Shot 1 and Shot 2. is this at all possible? 

I am using LIST records API to retrieve data from the table.I am needing to get all the records every time. This is acceptable, but no ideal.My client's table has no field that mark when a row is created or edited/updated. Does this of function already exist?  How can I make it 2024-08-31 6:30 PM PDT like how the record is in my airtable base? I don't want that T or Z at the end and the seconds and the decimal to be shown either.

I want to paste a string of text into a linked cell and have it recognize the linked relationship. I have about 2,000 lines of data to copy and paste into Airtable. For example, I want to copy the following addresses into cells where the cells link to another table. 123 Main Street, Anywhere, CA, 90210 578 Main Street, Anywhere, CA, 90215 I have not had any luck in pasting it or in the cells recognizing the link. I have also tried “wrapping” the text string in commas as follows: “123 Main Street, Anywhere, CA, 90210” “578 Main Street, Anywhere, CA, 90215” No luck with that method either. Any suggestions? I want to display a field taken from one of my records from my fillout form but I want to make it uneditable. I am using the form to update already made records but I want to display a field but make it uneditable. Is there a way to do this? 

I was just wondering if there was a way for an airtable form submission to be edit-able. It’s annoying how everytime a form is submitted it shows up as a new entry when someone perhaps wants to go back and revise an existing form entry. I know Google forms has this. Is there any way for Airtable to do this?

Is there a way to sort the records randomly (not alphabetically)? Say I have a table of students and I want them to be randomly ordered for a presentation or something?

Hi! I have a grid view with two columns, Start Date and End Date, that I have been manually updating to curate a calendar. I have started tying some of these line items together through the new Predecessor features, and since then have encountered a major issue where Airtable will automatically update dates to 0000 and 4049 in my Start Date and End Date columns. Help!

I have an Interface Detail Page that has a list of records.When i open a record it shows me a sort of modal column on the right and the url changes but it doesn't show an ID. Instead it gives me the "detail" parameter with a ver long string like this one "detail=eyJwYWdlSWQiOiJwYWdCeXBjZW9saHVvNXI2aiIsInJvd0lkIjoicmVjcXZseGk5SkJtcHluVXMiLCJzaG93Q29tbWVudHMiOmZhbHNlLCJxdWVyeU9yaWdpbkhpbnQiOm51bGf8".The question is where can i retrieve this long string?I'm working with Make so i want to change this parameter dynamically.I don't know if someone already asked this question, i didn't find any discussion with this problem so i made a new one.

I need to ask my developers to turn a table into an XML feed, but I can’t find any web pages that explains how they would start. Does anyone have any suggestions, so that I can submit more than “Turn this Airtable” into an XML feed. They have never worked with Airtable before so want to provide as much detail as possible.

Hi, I need to export data from Airtable into a XML file so I can upload it to a reporting body. Is there a way to do this? If not, can anyone recommend a reputable app to convert the CSV file to XML, its sensitive data so I am not sure about using a free online converter. Thanks

I have an integration with zapier pulling pipedrive data into a base in airtable. Everything works as expected just one new field I created yesterday is a single select field in pipedrive with Yes or No as the selections. The test data I sent had the selection "No" but instead pulling over "No" it pulled "203" does anyone know why/how I can fix? The airtable field is set up as a short text field. 

I run a renovation and interior design firm.  I thought Airtable was going to be the ultimate solution and have spent months perfecting my bases.  We need a database of products and materials that we can assign to projects and present choices and final selections to our clients.  Our clients are not other businesses, they are individual homeowners, so we are not going to ask them to create accounts in Airtable or become collaborators on our internal system.  Each product record has a lot of internal pricing information that we do not want to share with our clients.  I tried several extensions but they fell short in many ways (only show one record at a time, only show certain pre-set fields, etc).  I tried creating a shared, curated view but our clients could still open and view any field they want.  The list view looked fantastic but there's no way to share OR print!  I spent hours creating awesome interfaces just to discover they're only availab

Hello, I'm using the duration field to track recorded audio sessions that vary in length. Currently have it formatted as (HH:MM:SS) to account for sessions that are both multiple hours long and less than an hour long. When I have sessions that are less than an hour long, Airtable won't display a zero value in the hour slot. Ex: a session is 30 minutes and 6 seconds, but Airtable displays it as 30:06. This makes it appear as if the session is 30 hours and 6 minutes long. I would prefer it to display as 00:30:06 for clarity. Does anyone know how I can get the field to display zero values? 

Is there anyway to change the “row Height” of the primary row? I have a sheet with a bunch of check boxes, but the rows are very wide due to the names (that can no be helped) It makes the checkbox feature seem pretty useless. Anyone know how to change that or be able to “:wrap text” in the primary row?

Hi !I'm new to Airtable and I created a base to help me manage some operations for a car rental company that operates in 2 cities.I have 3 tables with the same single select field (City : A or B) The tables are : Cars, drivers and Missions.The Missions table contains several fields including the city (A or B) and linked records fields to the Cars table and to the drivers table.What I want is In the Missions Table, when I select a city (city A) and then I want to choose the car, it only displays in the list the cars that also have the same city (A) in its single select field for the city, and also for the drivers to diplay only the ones in the same city (A).I don't want to create 2 different tables (one for city A and another for city B) and link the records to views in the cars and drivers tables.Is there a straightforward way to do it without changing the structure of the table ?   

Hi all,I have an Airtable built that collects info for upcoming events. I've created a filtered view, that only includes Confirmed events. I want to add the ability for staff to sign-up to work at these events, so I've created a form view. I want the first question of the form to be a single select, where the staff person selects which one of these events they want to work. Is this possible? So for example, I'd like "Event 1", "Event 2", etc. to be the options staff select in the form. Then in the grid view, we'll have a new column for staff that have signed up to work each event. Hopefully that makes sense.

Wondering if anyone has managed to sync MySQL data into a Airtable base? What we are basically trying to do is sync a SQL query data to Airtable - this is currently done manually multiple times a day and imported to Airtable base. Has anyone done anything like this or are there any 3rd party solutions out there? Thanks in advance :slightly_smiling_face:

I'm new to airtable but i keep running into the same issue that when you try to link a column to another base (to effectively do what would be a vlookup in excel) that when a link is found the value of the cell you are linking from is displayed but if no link is found its empty. Is there a way to overwrite this behaviour so that the value still is still displayed despite no match?The value is still being recorded in the table as the links will sync if that value is added to the looked up table, it's just not shown when a match isn't found.
