Trying to automate our UPC code generation (not the barcode image). We have our company prefix, and I know how to do the check sum. What I can’t figure out in AT is to process the current numbers already used/assigned in our block, and see what is the first missing number in the sequence. So we should have 10K numbers in our block, 00000 - 99999. We have used random numbers in past, all done manually. I would like to do this automatically in future by looking at that above sequence, removing anything that has been used, and then using the lowest number possible to start auto assigning SKU’s to projects moving forward. If this needs to be a script, can it be run by a button and/or an automation triggered by conditions?

Today our team were all stopped from being able to create Tasks on our Active Cases. This is done via a Linked Field. When trying to create a new Task, all the team received the error message "You are not permitted to perform this operation". A few details below if they're helpful:All the team have Editor level access. I have Creator and only I and the Base Owner are still able to create Tasks as normalThe Team exclusively access our Airtable database via InterfacesAll Team members have permissions to create and edit on both tables and these have been triple-checked. They have all been happily creating Tasks since the start of June with no problems and no settings have changed.All users access our Airtable base via the Google Chrome browser on PC. They have all tried refreshing and clearing their cache without effect. No other Linked Field relationships are affected. Is there any way that I can print (to PDF) my fully weekly calendar view on one page? I’ve tried just doing File-Print, then landscape mode and shrinking to fit to one page, but it only shows me four days out of seven. What I’m trying to achieve is that I have been speaking with AT about getting at least a read-only Calendar week view in the iOS app, but until that happens, I’d like to have a PDF that I could then add to my digital planner and mark up by hand and consult when I’m on my iPad (desktop mode on iPad is clunky). Hi, I am generating a URL by concatenating a URL string and then the Airtable record ID. Between my URL string and that ID, there is always a byte mark like “%EF%BB%BF” added (for example, when using the URL in an email automation). Any way to remove that since the URL leads to a 404 otherwise?

Hello Airtable Community! I need help figuring out an easy data entry model for our YOY production reports.The basics: We have ~150 clients and ~75 suppliers (every year some clients leave, some are added, which is true for suppliers as well, meaning those lists are not static). Our clients sell products from our suppliers. For every year, our suppliers report sales for each client, which we collate into an individual sales report per client (I need help with reporting too, but that's a problem for another day). I'm using the 'color' attribute to color-code my fields according to type of item in the primary field, but now I have reached six colors (including the default color), I cannot proceed any further.Is this normal?

I used the Dedupe extension almost daily to remove duplicate records from my bases. I also have clients that use it as well. Today I got the following error message. Usually reloading the extension takes care of any issues, but today, I just keep getting the error message, even after reloading. I tried deleting the extension and re-adding it. Still error message. I even tried adding it to another base and still had the same issue.Anyone else experiencing this? I reported the issue, but wondered if anyone else had the same issue.

Hard to believe, but iPad quality of life re: Airtable is worse today than it’s ever been?  My M1 Air running 17.4 does everything else I need it do, but the app is useless and the website looks ok upon first loading…. But I can’t even switch tables…Is anyone at Airtable listening?  Do any iPad users have any workarounds?   

Attention AT staff: The view on the What's New page is broken. Looks like the sorting has been set to Month of Release rather than creation date, meaning that it is listing in reverse alpha by month name.   

I have created a three table airtable, for project planning. Projects have a Start Date and End Date Resourcing links to Projects, and has a Start Date Override and End Date Override, as well as two Formula fields, Start Date and End Date, which choose either the project Start and End dates, or the overrides if set. Ie IF({Start Date Override} = BLANK(), {Start Date (from Project)}, {Start Date Override}) I have created a Gantt view using these formula fields as Start Date and End Date, which works fine as a normal user. However when I try to create a shared view, I see instead “Start date field is hidden or invalid” Table setup Gantt Setup The error :frowning: Any help would be appreciated

I have a lookup field in table A that is supposed to retrieve values from a number field on table B.Some of the values on table B are 0. Currently the lookup field on table A is showing blanks for all 0 values.0 is different than blank. For my purposes, blank means missing information and 0 means 0.How do I fix this? I have a feeling that if I changed the table to a text field it would help, but I have some integrations with accounting software and would rather not do that if I don't have to as it may muddy some other things.

There is a way to embed the google MAP extension view but I can't seem to find instruction on what the embed code looks like. There is a related question that's been open for several months and I sent a support question and I haven't hear back on the answer. They suggested to search here but I can't find any answers to this. Here's an example that does work on some other site but I can't get this embed code for my MAP view 

Does anyone here have experience with using miniExtensions? Couple of their features (like forms and shared editable view - especially this, looks like it could sold quite a few permission problems we could potentially have with default permissions of Airtable) looks like it could really improve and help with a workflow we plan to implement. But since they are not some well-known names (like Zapier or Integormat for example), or at least we haven’t heard of them before researching Aritable specific integrations (and I don’t mean any disrespect by saying this) my company can be a bit reluctant to depend on some software packages or integrations that we don’t know anything about So, if anyone has experience with using their services, it would mean to hear first hand experience, as they have some really good tools (from the information on their site) that could help us a lot and we are seriously thinking about testing them and hopefully using in our workflow if everything goes good.

Hi there,I'm looking for some help with improvement of a "Work on Today" field.The field we have currently is a checkbox for each colleague--each person has their own "Work on Today" checkbox with their name marking their field. In a view of my tasks on the base, I have it grouped so that when I check my "Work on Today" box, it will automatically then show that task (along with any others I have marked) at the top of my view.It works great as it is, however, we have more colleagues now and it would be great to have a single field for all colleagues that had the same function as the above one. However, I cannot get one to work in the same way because of groupings/filters.Initially, I thought a "Work on Today" multiple choice field would work as each person could select their own name when they were working on a task that day. I have a field that contains people’s heights in centimeters. I’d like to create an additional field that converts those heights to feet and inches, specifically using the format #’#". The conversion part is easy; to get from centimeters to inches, you simply divide by 2.54, after which I’d want to round to the nearest inch. It’s the formatting part that I’m hung up on. For example, 175 centimeters converts to 69 inches, rounded to the nearest inch. But how do I force 69 inches to display instead as 5’9"? Thanks in advance for any help here!
