We have multiple users working on our Base at the same time. Because any changes to a Table View persist across all users, we have to have personalised Table Views for each user. Otherwise users clash with each other when editing a particular Table View. This is fine, but it limits our ability to use Table Views for what they are designed for. If we want to have different Table Views for (example) different film genres. Then we need to create a Table View for every user for every film genre. We then end up with a long, unwieldy list of Table Views. There are some features that we simply don’t use because we don’t want to create more Table Views. This could be avoided by allowing users to hide Table Views that remain hidden every time they log in. That way each user could have their own personal set of Table Views.

Hi, I am using Make to upload a video file in an Airtable record, but for an unknown reason, the video gets deleted automatically as soon as it's uploaded.Has anyone experienced this, and if yes, how can I fix it ?

Unique Lookups - We have a Collections table, and a Projects table. Several individual projects will link into a single collection. Each project may have the same resources working on it, or it could be different team members. Currently lookup will pull in a name 5 times for example, instead of the same name only appearing once. Is there a way to use Lookup to only show the unique resources similar to the way Rollup Arrayunique works? I don’t like rollup because we lose color coding when doing this on single select fields and we lose notifications/automations that can happen with contact fields. I know I can run automations to watch for changes and then create a duplicate field that writes the values for the cell, but it would be nicer/safer/cleaner to not have to do that. Is there any way for this?

The result I am looking for is similar to the ARRAYUNIQUE function for a Rollup field. However, the results are a link to another table, and it seems that using a rollup can only show text results as opposed to clickable records. How can I make lookup field show only unique results, or make the unique results of a rollup field clickable?

I am trying to integrate the properties of a ticket from hubspot to create an airtable row… The problem was the properties doesn’t show on the airtable. Everything was all set and completed in husbpot. Anyone who knows how to fix this?

Are there help entries providing best practices for normalizing data?  Typically data comes in somewhat non-normalized, records with duplicate (non-unique) or empty values.  Take as an example, the following table, Grocery_Shopping:DayQtyItemTypeMon4applesfruitMon10snap beansvegetableTues13strawberries Tues6potatoesvegetableTues5kiwifruitThurs23bananasfruitThurs6bananasfruitI can manually create a unique table of Types, then manually change field type in Grocery_Shopping.type so it's linked to Types.type.  Similarly I could do the same, creating unique reference tables for Day and Item.  What many users need to a set of rules, automations, links, etc which automatically update reference tables when additional entries into Grocery_Shopping are imported.  If there is such a set of best practices, please point in their direction.  Thanks.   

Hi - There is data in one of my tables that I cannot edit because apparently I need to "Upgrade to Enterprise to edit synced tables". Can you explain what this means, and how was the data able to be entered in the first place if I've never subscribed to Enterprise (someone else actually setup the table so I don't know how it came into being)?  What are synced tables?

Our team's admin had an emergency situation and is going to be unavailable for the foreseeable future. They weren't able to unlock two forms on our website before leaving. Is there anyway we can have permissions assigned to another team member, so we can access and unlock these two forms?

Sometimes the Community is helpful in solving a problem, but sometimes we need more support than this. When I first started using Airtable, it was possible to get support  - good support! - from a human being. At this point, I can find no way to do so - the bot just takes me around in circles. (We do have a paid account). Can anyone advise on how to get support from someone at Airtable when necessary? 

The record limit will not allow me to see my task. I have the free version so I deleted some completed tasks, so I'm able to see my task list but it still will not let me see because of the limit. Please anything that could help me view this again without upgrading the service. 

This might be a super simple one, but I wasn't able to find it in the Keyboard shortcuts and it's been driving me crazy.In excel, when you are entering a sequence of cells in horizontal order (tabbing after each one), if you hit Enter/Return, you return to the place where you clicked, so you can continue entering the same sequence of cells.  In Airtable, you hit enter and it puts your cursor in the cell directly below.  So you have to hit enter again, and shift-tab back, or ctrl-left back to the very start of the row.  Oh how I long for fewer strokes to get back to where I started entering!  Anyone know the trick? Thanks! Craig

Hi everybody,I have a question regarding syncing multiple workspaces into one workspace. I then want to merge the data that is synced so that I get one database with experiments. It is constructed as follows:We now have 3 workspaces with experiments, one for email, CRO and socials. Now we want to have an overarching workspace where all experiments come together so that we have one large database. For example, we can collect all experiments from one campaign.Now I succeed in syncing a view, but it then becomes a separate tab in the overarching workspace. Is it possible to import all data into one table. Or should these be 3 tables and is it possible to merge all this data into one table so that we have one library.I'm curious if anyone knows a solution for this.Regards, Martijn

Hi all! My team has 3 tables that we use to keep track of events that have associated dates and times, including trainings, out-of-office holds, and planned travel time. I want to create a calendar view in AirTable that includes all 3 of these event types to make scheduling easier. I'm pretty sure that the only way to do this is to combine all 3 tables into a new table where I can create the views I want. What is the best way to import all of the records from those 3 separate tables into a combined table? Is there a script that I can run that will do the importing?Once the new table is created, will I need to create automations that will ensure that if a record is created or updated in the separate tables, it will be updated in the combined table? Or is there a better way to make sure that both places stay current?Thanks, I appreciate the help!

On this view,I need to create groupings based on the Max Price and Listing Price.The amount should match, but when I tried to do the grouping it did not show the correct numbers.here's the current setup.  Here's the outcome.The Max Price Should be $280k but why is it that the Listing Price of $285k was included on this group which supposedly was not? 

Hello all! I am in need of some brainstorming. My organization uses grant funds for some of our programs and I am trying to figure out the best way to keep track of how much we have left and which programs they are linked to. In order to do that I have one table with all of our program information and one table with the information about the grant, i.e. how much we received. For most of the programs we only use funds from one grant, so right now what I have is on the program records table a field for how much grant money was used, then I link it to a specific grant and in the grant table a rollup and then formula field calculate how much of the money is left. However, on occasion we do pull funds from two grants for one program. This creates an issue as then both grants are pulling the same number from the program records table and subtracting the full amount from both totals, rather than the partial. It is not about Formulas, but Form was not an option for a label.I need to put a form, where I let people to pick a product. I want to create a dropdown menu to select product. After submitting I need to remove that product from options. So there is only one product for each who submitted. Plus ! Because it is obvious ! When they change their mind I advice them to file new form with remaining choices and just remove their first form entry.But cant avoid the manula data editing upon request so each time a new form si filed it takes the actual data from the sheet in airtable options.Please can you help me with that?

Example, A has a value (Apple), B, C are empty, D has a value(Orange) I have another column called Summary. I want to display columns that have value. Hello, I'm not sure which category this would fall under. I'm working on generating an automated report based on our data. I don't want it to be too long, so under one filtered category, I only want the report to pull information tied to a checked-off box that was only checked off in the last 7-14 days. (I'd like to be able to change the date as needed) The checkboxes live in our subtasks field and are rich text. Is there a way to sort when these boxes where checked based on date? For example, in the screenshot below, I only want to pull the checked boxes with green, not the ones with red: Is this possible? Thanks a bunch! Thank you,Lindsay 

I would like to use airtable Forms to track Requests for Interpretation with my Architect. Here’s what I’m struggling with… I want to fill out each RFI with the information I’m requesting comments on. Each form will be a different request. Once I’ve filled out the Question, I want to share the form for the Architect’s Response. I only see ways to share the same blank form every time.

I have a table of events that all have a start and end time/date.  The start field is "Start Datetime"For example, I have event that has a start datetime of 1/1/2019 at 11:00am.  All in a date field.  1/1/2019 specificially we use as a generic fallback for old events that didn't have a date.  So we pasted in 1/1/2019 at 11:00amThese events are linked to those who participated in them.  And they have a payment amount noted.So I created a rollup field with the intention of knowing how much we paid out to those in the last year.The rollup seems to be capturing linked events which are clearly older than a year, however, and I'm not sure why.My rollup filter has the "only include linked records from the Events table that meet certain conditions", and then a filter set to only include Where Start Datetime is Within the past year.Then it aggregates by SUM(values).None the less, it's including linked events from more than a year ago, but only those older events tagged
