AirTable seems to have made a change to the sync implementation in a way that has crippled a critical support process/automation we have in place. Based on the fact that this support article was updated today and one of our sync fields that used to be a Lookup (and on which downstream logic relied upon) is now a text field, we can only assume that a breaking change was deployed with no advance notice.Anyone else experienced this or have any issues as a result of this?

I’m pulling in Google analytics data to one table in a base via a 3rd party extension, it includes a column with a pageview number and another with the corresponding URL. On my other tables on this base I have the URL already in a column. I’m looking to pull in the pageviews by matching URL in my other tables and cannot figure out how to do this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am about to embark on a large research project with the Royal National Institute of the Blind and one of the requirements is that the format we hand over our research should be fully accessible. Given there is going to be a lot of research findings I was hoping to use Airtable, but is it accessible? Thank you J

When I am in a base and click the "Share" button in the top right, when I start typing a name under "Email invite", I get a bunch of auto-complete suggestions of people I don't know and aren't in my organization (some are from Gmail, some are from corporate domains we don't have any business with, like GSK).Where are these email addresses coming from? It kind of looks like a database leak of some sort. 

I have to get approval for all software on an annual basis. The software request form now requires the name and phone number of a support person from Airtable before I can renew for next year. There are no exceptions to this rule. Does anyone have a name and phone number I can put down for this?I will never actually call this person. I just need something to enter on the form. I know the official answer is that Airtable doesn't provide phone support, but I will have to use a different product if I can't find real contact info for an Airtable support person.  

I can't use my Airtable base due to overlimit on the 1,200 records allotted. Upon checking, I found an insane inaccuracy; it says I have 3,330 out of 1,200, but my base only has 800 records. No attachments. Has anyone else had a similar issue, and if so, what can I do? 

Hi, I am interested in connecting an Airtable base to Tableau Desktop using Tableau’s WDC (web data connector) connection type similar to the example here: Glitch :･ﾟ✧ (originally found here: Community Portal) Has anyone else tried this and if so, what are the requirements/security implications (such as hosting the WDC vs using a publicly hosted WDC) to get this working? Perhaps more of a Tableau question - is it possible to access live Airtable data from a workbook published to a private Tableau server with an embedded WDC connection? Hoping others who have gone down this route may be able to provide some further insight on how to get started using a Tableau WDC with Airtable. Appreciate it in advance!

Hello everyone. I have developed a Content Management base in Airtable. Each record is an article or piece of content, with a draft due date and a publication date. I have used a zap to connect it to Google Calendar, so that each new piece of content will show as a multiday event from the draft due date to the publish date in Google Calendar. However, this zap only adds new events to Google Calendar, but if I change the dates to a record in Airtable or to an event in Google Calendar, these changes are not updated in the other app. Does anyone know if it is possible to keep Airtable and Google Calendar in sync using zapier, and how this could be done? Airtable would instantly jump to one of my most used apps if it leveraged If This Then That’s platform for integrations. Think about instant integrations to apps like Trello, TodoIst, Evernote, Gmail, Google Drive, etc. It would be AMAZING!

Is there a way in IFTTT to retrieve a particular field of a newly created row? I’ve got a contact list airtable, and want to update a Mailchimp list whenever I put a new record into Airtable. I had a look at building this in IFTTT, but couldn’t see a way to get the value in (for example) the ‘Name’ field in Airtable so that I could put it in the ‘Name’ field in Mailchimp. There’s an ingredient called RecordJson, which I assume has all the data from the new record, but I can’t find any documentation about how to pull a particular element from the JSON. Is this possible with IFTTT, or only in Zapier? (I know there’s a recipe which claims to do this, but I can’t see how it’s able to connect the relevant fields.)

I am trying to connect Airtable and Google sheet through IFTTT Triggers I seek to a row of data entered in Google Sheet pulled from Airtable whenever a Trigger is fired in IFTTT. It all working fine. But the Google Sheet has data spat out and the data is scattered in the a single colum, and is not properly formatted, which is cumbersome to read as IFTTT is getting the row of data and adding the row to Google Sheets without adding the Colum Heads in the Sheet. Hi all,On of my bases shows a warning label: This base is over record limits.That's not possible, there are only 140 records in the base.I have bases with over 10.000 records that do not show this warning.How do I solve this?p.s. Why is it so hard to just reach someone at Airtable for support...?

Hello, Im trying to create a form where someone will need to upload some assets. But I want the assets to automatically be added to dropbox where I will store the assets. The form is just a way to get the required form filled out and assets uploaded.  

Hi all!I'm using Airtable to track leave requests and automatically add peoples approved leave requests to Google Calendar. Currently, I have 'Leave Start Date' and 'Leave End Date' date fields which are used as the 'Start Date' and 'End Date' of the creating a google calendar event automation. However, the event rarely gets published with the correct end date. Instead, the event often gets published with an End Date one day before the submitted 'Leave End Date' (i.e. a leave that's supposed to be from October 1-October 10 will get published as October 1-October 9). Both of my calendars are in the same time zone, and even more confusing, the Start Date is always correct. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!!

Hi, I'm trying to link two tables.  One of my tables (Inventory) has a URL field that I'd like to reference in the other table (Customer Project).  All the fields have linked well except the URL isn't working on the field I linked to (Customer Project).  For reference I have an inventory table and a Customer Project Table.  When I go to the customers table, I'd like to use the link from the inventory table.  I set the Field with the URL as a look up.Seems I've missed a step or misunderstood something. Thanks  

As the name suggests, I would like to copy and consolidate records based on one field into new tables. Perhaps an example would help: Let’s say I’m a store that sells apples, oranges, and bananas. Every time I sell a fruit, I record it in the Main Table by selecting the fruit in a dropdown menu with other purchase information like customer name, date and time of purchase, etc. The dropdown menu is multi-select since customers can buy more than one kind of fruit at a time. In addition to all fruit purchase information in the Main Table, I would like to create three new tables: Apples, Oranges, and Bananas that only contain the purchase history of the one respective fruit. The idea is that each table will automatically copy over a record from the Main Table when I select a fruit. Any ideas on how I might go about doing this? Thanks in advance!

I have searched for how to do this, but it seems unclear. There is no way to group by year, specifically. You can only select past year, next year, specific number of days, etc. So how do you group items by year?

Has anyone had success asking Chat GPT for Airtable formulas? I've only asked it a few Airtable related questions so far, but I have to correct them all. Curious if anyone knows if there's a specific way to ask that will get formulas in the correct Airtable format.

Good morning.I use Airtable to inventory my craft supplies.I have built a new workspace, exactly like my first one. I am trying to move individual records from the first base to the second base.I am not techy (read senior citizen) and need the simplest solution. To build buttons or automations or any of the other wonderful things mentioned is beyond my ken. Of course, if this is the only way for it to be done, I will need very simple instructions. I did try to copy and paste, and it didn't work. It only moved one cell.TIA

I've come across a strange issue.Using MAKE (aka Integromat) I'm using an Airtable Search Records module with the following formula:AND(Lower({Email (from Members)}) = "{{lower(2.`recipient email`)}}", {Order Number} = "{{51.`$1`}}")It accepts it but does not return the required record. The Order Number is a number field, and I've tried the formula with and without the "I've done with this similar tables and records but for some reason this one is not working and I cannot fathom out why.Any ideas?

I’m trying to figure out the best way to send single send sorts of emails to people in my database.I’ve tried using the built in segmentation tools of typical mailing list software, but my needs are much more variable and ultimately at the end of the day it’s soooo much easier to just put together my list in Airtable via filters.  And then I could fill in the little extra info I need from there into a templated email of some sort.  I really only need to send a few sentences of info. Is this something I could feasibly do? I assume using sendgrid or similar?
