I am the Technology Manager for Companion Health. We are a medical practice currently utilizing Airtable. We recently had one of our employees accidentally remove one of our client records which resulted in me having to review a snapshot and pull the data back in.I would like some advice on what I could do to ensure this is prevented as much as possible.Also is there better backup methods for client data other than the snapshots taken in Airtable?

We needed a "quick" way to see that a calendar entry was canceled (in the label, which is a text field named "Short Name") without typing it. (We use a check box to "cancel" the event) Forgive me, I'm new. This may not be the most elegant way of doing this, and I may have missed something I built an automation that when the check box is modified, AND the value of the checkbox is checked (a FIND table with that conditional and the Airtable ID as the record output) THEN run a script to update the text field (because putting the text and the field was not working in the non-script format) I added input parameters of recordID (the airtable ID from the find field) and xText which is the existing text in the field "Short Name" the script looks like this:  let table = base.getTable(

TLDR: i built something that syncs all the pages from your websites sitemap to an airtable base and keeps it up to date---In the last months I've been more involved in marketing at our company. The first thing I noticed is that outside of the CMS we don't have an overview of all the pages on our website. This makes it hard to answer simple questions like:- what are the newest 5 pages on our website?- how many case studies do we have published?- what's the most outdated/last outdated page on our website?We're using contentful in the background and I know I could log in and look for published pages, but even then some of those questions can't be answered without setting up filters and understanding the content model.As a long term airtable fan I wanted to coordinate all the marketing work (todos, reviews, new content) in an airtable base. I have created a table with days off of the team. BUT for instance a person takes 2 days (22-23//24) the airtable count it as 1 day. Is there any other way to count is as 2 cuase actualy the person will be off 22 and 23.Thank you

Hi, Myself and another team member are on the business plan and under the same domain. I have an option of sharing just an interface but another team member under my same business plan and domain cannot.  When they try to share just an interface, it's saying, they need to be on a paid plan. However, they are, they are on my business plan.Any help/guidance is greatly appreciated. 

Hi everyone!Here's a new application I just made with Airtable: a meeting room booking system for offices.  This has two interfaces: one for front end users to reserve slots in a room for their meeting; another for back end users (receptionists, assistants, etc) to organise and reschedule meetings on request.  The back end interface also includes a calendar for public display so that people can easily see where and when their meetings are scheduled, and what rooms are currently free.Using the "repeating group" function in automations, slots are wiped at 1am each day and reused for the day after tomorrow.  This means that at any given time users can book slots either for today or tomorrow, with no further back end configuration, i.e. no need to create new records each day.Available here: https://amazingairtable.gumroad.com/l/mtgrm 

Hello Airtable Community,For this particular task, I need to audit hundreds of pages and I want to link those pages in this task. I have a tab for our URL master list linked in the affected URL column. Is there a more efficient way to do this rather than adding the affected URLs manually? 

Hello to all, im trying to create a table in order to control and track the days off of the employs. The first row is exactly what i need. But the team takes days off in different dates during the year. So if i put new dates in the second row, airtable discounts again the days from all. See the pic below. We have 28 days per year, 12 are in stable dates so the team needs to use 16 throughout the year in the dates they want. i need in the first column second row to be shown 6 remaining days not 14. is this possible to do or the air table doesnt have this capability? I hope i explained myself well. Thank you!!

IntroWhen I first started using Airtable, one of the features that I wanted was the ability to use a form to update a record's details. When diving into the forums, I noticed that many other users wanted this too! I also realised that there were third-party solutions to this.I've recently stumbled upon an in-built Airtable solution!This is possible only through Interfaces. This means that for your "form" to be accessible from users outside of your team, they will have to have Airtable interface access (which costs per user). If all users are within your Airtable team, then this works great!The Set UpThe build for this is actually an interface and not a form. I stumbled upon this when I noticed that the new form builder in the interface designer had a very similar setup to the "record detail" interface designer.Make a new Interface, either a list or a gallery or whichever way you want to display your data.

Hi ! I've set up a time zone - which is the same for all collaborators - in events I plan in Airtable. However, when I send au automated email to my collaborators to let them know they've been assigned to an event, the time zone in the email is not the correct one, hence, they get the wrong time in their email assigning them to an event.Is there any way to solve this? It seems weird that the automation changes the time setting...Thank you so much!

Hi All. Longtime reader, first-time poster. I'm having a logic issue that I can't wrap my head around and I'm hoping the hive mind can help.I am building an automation in a base that tracks travel. The goal of the automation is to send an email to travelers with a summary of all of the logistics of their trip. One category I'm really struggling with is listing contact information for other people going on the same trip. Right now, the traveler profiles are in one table, the individual trips are in another table, and the parent events that those trips are connected to (conferences, etc) are in a third table, and they are all linked. The email automation is being triggered by the trip data, and ideally, I'd like to pull the contact information of all of the travelers who are linked to the same parent event as trigger record. It feels like it should be simple, but my brain is not working this one out. Do you have ideas?
