Hi all,I'm trying to get the Calendar View to look a  little neater, only showing the headers of events without all this unhelpful and bloated extra data showing up. For instance, in Google Calendar the date will only show "David Out of Office", but in the synced airtable calendar view I'm getting this time range, and long link. How do I get rid of that extra stuff? Thanks!

Hello, I am trying to build a base for our vehicles and equipment fleet. This base will hold the maintenance log and the maintenance service schedule for each vehicle. I am stuck with how to move forward in the set up process. I initially started with three tables, Vehicles/Equipment, Maintenance Log, and Maintenance Schedule. I want to be able to plug in formulas that will calculate the next service dates for various types of services (oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotation, etc.) but because we are working with all different types of equipment (heavy duty, UTVs, cars, tractors) I am having a hard time finding a way to systematically implement the same formulas for each piece of equipment. I want this to be easy to maintain for the user and not too complicated, but I am having a hard time figuring out how to link dates versus mileage. I hope this makes sense, but I would love some advice for how to even set up each table and what my primary fields should be for each, I've include

Every so often someone asks how to format numbers in a string the same way that they appear in a number or currency field. Various formulas have been created in the past (including some that I’ve posted in threads on this topic), but a recent thread prompted me to take another stab at the concept, and I came up with the most condensed formula that I know of for formatting whole numbers. Hi, Below is my airtable base.I have grouped the records on basis of my product. I want to find the average of qty in each group. The average should be such that total of all qty in a group divided by no.of.rows in that group. How can i do this on Airtable? For eg - THe average of first group is 68/8 = 8.5

I am aware that you can pick and choose which fields you want visible in a synced base. However, if you already synced a base, but want to limit the fields that are visible is there a way to do that without having to reupload the base?

TL;DR: add a "hello world" script if you want a "condition not met" to end your automation instead of cause it to fail.I created a base for another team in which I'm collaborating with them, and for each record that is created in their base, if it is assigned to me, I want to create it in my personal base via automations.The Find Records approach of identifying the collaborative record that was created and re-creating it in my base was straightforward, but capturing updated collaborative records assigned to me and re-updating it in my base was a bit trickier, as "Find Record to Update" may return zero records, if the collaborative record is assigned to someone else, causing the automation to fail.To get around this failure, I added a Run Script step for the condition in which the length of Find Records = 0, and the script is simply:console.log("Hello, world!"); This way, the automation will always successfully run, even

I am the Technology Manager for Companion Health. We are a medical practice currently utilizing Airtable. We needed a "quick" way to see that a calendar entry was canceled (in the label, which is a text field named "Short Name") without typing it. (We use a check box to "cancel" the event) Forgive me, I'm new. This may not be the most elegant way of doing this, and I may have missed something I built an automation that when the check box is modified, AND the value of the checkbox is checked (a FIND table with that conditional and the Airtable ID as the record output) THEN run a script to update the text field (because putting the text and the field was not working in the non-script format) I added input parameters of recordID (the airtable ID from the find field) and xText which is the existing text in the field "Short Name" the script looks like this:  let table = base.getTable(
