In the past six months, I have been building TaskRobin to save emails to Airtable. After you setup your email inbox and Airtable base with TaskRobin, you just need to forward emails that you want to save to Airtable to TaskRobin.Try our Airtable extensionI am happy to share that we have added more automation options for Airtable. In addition to automatically tagging emails, creating and maintaining a contacts table for your Airtable CRM, you can now create rules to automatically fill in your custom fields in your Airtable table as new emails arrive. For example, if you have a "Task Type" field and your incoming emails are task reminders/details to draft a new contract for the customer, then you can create a rule to auto populate "Draft Contract" for the "Task Type" field. This way, you can easily manage different types of tasks you have and organise them with views and filters.Thank you, Airtable Community, for your constant feedback and support! Please comment below if you have an
1- Our organization operates various types of projects, each with different formats. Some formats are consistent across projects. We used the append option in Excel to compile them and bring them into our organization's master database. Is there a similar option in Airtable that allows us to append data of the same format from different projects together? 2- Projects often have different formats, and we would like to append data from specific columns of these formats into our master base. Is this possible in Airtable? 3- Different bases were created for data from different projects. If the append option works in Airtable, can it append tables from other bases into the master base?

I built Airtable-QnA that is easy to use and open-sourcedThe application allows you to ask questions and retrieve information from your Airtable content. Simply provide your OpenAI API key, Airtable personal access token, and Airtable URL to get started. https://airtable-qna.streamlit.app/ With Airtable QnA, you can ask queries in natural language and receive real-time answers without the need for manual searching. The application is open-source, encouraging community contributions and customization.Try out the demo and explore the project on GitHub. Appreciate any feedback and suggestions.
Figured I would share this new capability with the community here. The team at Stack Moxie just release this cool integration with AirTable that lets you test your marketing campaigns right from an AirTable sheet so you can launch the campaign knowing it will successfully track through to your other MarTech tools!I think the use cases are probably more robust than what I initially thought about, but here was their post about it:https://www.stackmoxie.com/2023/02/15/airtable-spreadsheet-triggers/?utm_campaign=230215-Feature-Release-Spreadsheet-Triggers-for-Airtable&utm_source=referral
Hi everyone. Just been playing around with interfaces and it occurred to me you could easily use Airtable with the record review, calendar and automation functions to set yourself up a fully functional journal, that includes email reminders. Template with instructions is available here for anyone who's interested: https://amazingairtable.gumroad.com/l/atjrn Enjoy!
Hi, need some help! I make a chart on https://quickchart.io/chart-maker/ than i build a formula in airtable to pass the the variables [SUBSTITUTE("https://quickchart.io/chart/render/zm-2146d069-a493-4d97-90ad-3a4bc6766b7d?labels=" & ARRAYJOIN({items from graph 2 all},",") & "&data1=" & ARRAYJOIN({Rampa interna primaria},",")& "&data2=" & ARRAYJOIN({Rampa esterna primaria},",") & "&data3=" & ARRAYJOIN({Rampa interna non primaria},",") & "&data4=" & ARRAYJOIN({Rampa esterna non primaria},",")," ","%20")], the formula generates a link to the dynamic graph [https://quickchart.io/chart/render/zm-2146d069-a493-4d97-90ad-3a4bc6766b7d?labels=Tecnico%20Funzionale,Manageriale,Imprenditorialità,Creatività,Autonomia,Stabilità,Sicurezza%20geografica,Stile%20di%20vit
Hi everyone. Just want to share a formula to get the last element of a list of elements separated by coma. This formula also eliminates the empty spaces before and after the resulting text if there were any. I am sure it will be helpful to someone in the future.TRIM( REGEX_EXTRACT( {your_field} & ",", "([^,]+)," ) )Regards.
A fun Friday project we made - the un-official Airtable quiz! https://www.fillout.com/quizzes/airtable-quiz The questions get harder as you go along and there’s a leaderboard at the bottom of the page to see how you stack up (stored in Airtable, of course). One submission per person and no cheating! 🙂

Please tell me why the static images disappear in the Page designer application and the error message "Failed to load image" appears. It has been working great for two years now, and for the last twenty days the images are visible on the document for a day or two and then disappear. I connect everything again and it takes another day or two and so on from the beginning
I’ve developed a Project Management Application and published it to the Airtable Universe. At this point only a few people have kicked the tires and taken it out for a spin. I’m posting this message here because I value the opinion of the folks in this community believe you guys can make it a better application. I’d love to get your feedback on bugs and suggested improvements. Here’s the Universe Link: https://www.airtable.com/universe/expsOlufQjxD1sTap/airplan-an-airtable-based-project-managerHere’s the base’s Universe Description:Airplan is a ‘traditional’ Project Management application implemented in Airtable.Airplan schedules the tasks in a project based on each task’s estimated work and the estimated end dates of the other tasks it depends on.Airplan takes weekends, holidays, and vacation into account when calculating the end date of a task.Airplan produces a schedule from minimal information about each task and refines the schedule as you refine the project plan. The minimum
Hey Airtable community! We use Stacker internally to build some customer-facing software as well as internal tools. I’m sure there are many of you who have built Stacker apps on top of Airtable. If your company or product wants to connect your Stacker app to a database like Postgres, MongoDB, Firebase, etc. then you may run into some roadblocks.Stacker does have a Postgres connector, but it has it’s limitations. You can only use it on the enterprise plan, so needless to say it’ll get priceyYou can only import data into Airtable from Postgres. If you want to sync data from Airtable to Postgres, that currently isn’t possibleThe only database Stacker supports is Postgres. If you use Firebase, MongoDB, Snowflake, MySQL or literally anything else then you’re out of luck. Bracket released it's Stacker connection. It syncs Airtable with your database or data warehouse in either direction. With automatic 2-way syncs between these tools, Bracket enables business teams to read & writ
Hi there!I have built this AI feature so that Airtable team doesn't have to spend time building it 😁.Type what you want the formula to do, press the "Hint GPT" button and get the formula suggestion - directly inside the Formula field: How did the additional button show up there? It is a Chrome Extension (you can download it here) which uses at the back (obviously) ChatGPT API, with some prompt engineering to get you just the Airtable formula. It seems to be doing pretty decent job for use cases like "Calculate number of days between now and Deadline field" or event more advanced like "Check if emails in Email field have correct format using REGEX_MATCH() function." I have been testing it for a few days and even being well versed in formulas - a few times it was for me to ask "extract ID from the end of the URL" than to start brain up to think of formula 🤣. The ChatGPT formula hints also SPECTACULARLY FAIL on some attempts or produce complete g
I have been advising Banana Republic for the past few months in connection with digital assets (product photography) for their newly launched Home line, which is quite different than their main apparel business because of the sheer volume of product involved. We are using Airtable to manage the capture and post production for a large volume of digital assets // 5,000+SKUs // 15,000+ digital assets. We are using Airtable as a single asset repository and workflow to unify and streamline digital capture, creative review, and post-production (retouching) workflows. The end result of this project will end up in a custom-designed, enterprise-level Shopify storefront. As with many large organizations, the main challenge we face is organizational fracture and data siloing, resulting from the use of multiple specialized database solutions across various parts of the organization. It's all very nice to streamline our digital asset process within
Hello everyone,Is it possible to define for a Kanban view that f.e. if a card is moved to "done" you cannot move it back to "in progress"? If yes, how does it work?Thank you very much in advance.Cheers,Alex
We're making our automated Airtable documents app, On2Air Docs, active again! We paused accepting new registrations for it temporarily to focus on On2Air Forms and On2Air Backups development and improvements. But the demand for it never slowed down, so we're ready to open it back up! With On2Air Docs, you can automatically generate any kind of document using your Airtable data. You create a document template in Google Docs, Slides, or Sheets, we auto-fill it with Airtable data, turn it into a PDF, and send it back to an Attachment field and/or a Google URL. Sign Up for Access Use Cases: ✔ Invoices ✔ Quotes ✔ Form Entries ✔ Contracts ✔ Presentations ✔ Reports ✔ Brochures ✔ And more You can even combine On2Air Docs with the ability to edit or view Google files in On2Air Forms. 🤩
Editor Access Collaborators no longer have access to add records.
I am trying to use rollup on a linked field which is a formula. Is that possible?
Hi all, thought I’d let everyone know about a new WordPress plugin I’ve just published to improve my content workflow process which is built around Airtable. Useful for bloggers, content publishers, etc. who publish on WordPress and use Airtable to manage their content workflow. The plugin can be downloaded from the WordPress Plugin Directory. Article on how to set it all up in Airtable is on my blog. The plugin sends key post and page data when you publish or delete a post/page to your 3rd party URL. Although I built it to work with my Airtable setup, it will work with any webhook-capable system (Make, Zapier, Pabbly etc.) Details sent – On publish: Author display name Post ID Post title Post date Post modified date Post GUID Post slug Post permalink Post type Post status Post categories Post tags Post word count Details sent – On delete/trash: Post ID Post modified date Post GUID Post status Hope people find it useful.
I’ve written about CoPilots before, and here’s an example of one I built some time ago and found quite helpful. What if you could highlight a block of code in the Airtable editor, and with a single keyboard shortcut, it could instantly examine the code to reveal:What its purpose is, and how it works. The most likely ways it might fail. The technical debt that it carries and the estimated cost of that debt. The [Paste] button inserts this content as a comment above the examined code. This is pretty cool, and I use it a lot, partly because I’m lazy; I don’t want to examine my own code, let alone code written by others.I have used this when reading code examples in various communities; it is designed to work everywhere you are looking at code and includes ignoring statements like output.Markdown().I used a script from @Oglesbeard above as an example to see how well it would compare with his excellent documentation of the function. Snipity-Do did alright. In my practice, this
I've just worked on my first script for Airtable and got it how I want it for now, before taking it any further. This script runs on a Table named "Travel" and takes two UK postcodes, in fields labelled P1 and P2, passes them to the Bing Maps API, and returns the distance between them, in miles, to a field labelled Distance. Check the API documentation re: call limits and pricing plans to gauge suitability/affordability for your use-case.In its current form, the script is triggered by an Airtable button field on each record/row; I'm looking to develop this further to run from a "when record enters a view" automation to trigger a slightly modified script. let apiKey = 'INSERT_BING_MAPS_API_KEY_HERE'; // Replace with your actual Bing Maps API keylet baseId = 'BASE_ID'; // Replace with your actual base IDlet tableName = 'Travel'; // Replace with your actual table namelet p1Field = 'P1'; // Field name for the P1 postcodelet p2Field = 'P2'; // Field name for the P2 postcodelet distanceF
