I've just worked on my first script for Airtable and got it how I want it for now, before taking it any further.This script runs on a Table named "Travel" and takes two UK postcodes, in fields labelled P1 and P2, passes them to the Bing Maps API, and returns the distance between them, in miles, to a field labelled Distance. I've created a script that creates child records in a child table linked to parent records in a parent table through a linked field. It creates a set number of child records per parent record, if a set field in the parent record meets the conditions, depending on the number of records in a "count table" with a non-empty value in a designated "count field". It also supports populating a designated "category" field in the child table with the value of the "count field" in the "count table".I originally created this for the translation of texts. The parent table hosts the English text, and when the workflow (designated by a single select field) moves to "Translate", the script checks a table listing the languages to be translated into, and creates a number of child records equal to the number of languages, and categorises the child-records based on the language.It can be used for other systems where a set number of linked records need to be created automatically in a sepa

I find it kinda cool, and it was super quick to make, so sharing the example if someone finds it useful. You’ll need to sign up to OpenAI and generate your own API key there. Hi, I would like to ask if this is possible. So we have an airtable view that contains all the schools in the Dallas metro area. Under Dallas, there are 58 schools. But we want to get the top 20 schools base on their School score. Is there a way to get the top 20 schools with the biggest "School Score" via the formula field or scripting? Though we can use the "Sort" but we want to have a field that will be updated into "Yes" or maybe "To be uploaded" when their school score is included in the top 20 biggest school scores.

hello, I have a small but may complicated issue. I have a data table, that lists several items to view over a website. the form for the table works well to populate the fields and add items. what is needed is another "contact form" that a visitor can use, to send inquiry, where the subject field is "prefilled" with the specific item number that the visitor "clicked-on" and expanded. like adding a button field, that will open that form, with the prefilled value from that exact column-row intersection. any ideas?

Hello,  If I take the Pro plan and choose to limit editing &permissions for collaborators do they als need a Pro plan to input/change their data?They should'nt be able to adjust eachtohers data. Thanks
