I have a table with the following fields:Capacity Required - a number Capacity Provided - a roll up sum of a linked recordGap Remaining - the delta between Capacity Required and Capacity ProvidedI have another field called Status that looks at the Gap Remaining and provides a single select option The following are all nested, so will be triggered in order: If the gap remaining is negative, the status is "overstaffed"If the capacity required was 0 to begin with, the status is "N/A"If gap remaining is 0 the status is "fully staffed"if the gap remaining is less than the capacity required the status is "partially staffed"The status field behaves as expected for 1207 records in my table. But now I have a record where when the gap remaining is 0 the status is partially staffed...if and only if one of the values being rolled up is ".10" and 

I’ve used a Rollup column to aggregate data from another table. There are duplicates in the data being aggregated, as well as blanks. I use the ARRAYUNIQUE(values) to operate on the roll up data. I even created an adjacent cell with an IF statement to test for ISBLANK and it is being returned as being blank. Once I set a filter the Rollup column to not show empty cells, empty cells are still shown. The issue is in the only DB in my account, in the Organization tab.

my kanban is a list of products with different stacks. I would like it so that when a product is moved from one stack to the other, the autmation sends a slack message as to what stack the product is currently moved to.How do I access the name of the stack? I clicked on the blue plus sign but nothing there relates to the stack name. Just the product details.

Dear community, Does anyone know how I can mute this notification? I am building a check in and check out tool in interfaces, when someone has checked out, I want to have his or her name removed from the list with people who are in the building. It works perfectly, only that ugly orange message, which tells me that the changes will hide this record keeps showing up. Hiding the record is exactly what I want it to do. It would be great to have this sorted out. Thanks for helping!!

Hi all,I'd like some help w/ a rollup field.Table A is a summary record for an order and table B has the line items of an order.  Each line item can have a different delivery date.  I'd like to create a rollup field in table A that calculates the difference between the min and max delivery dates of all line items in table B.   This rollup field presently looks like: DATETIME_DIFF(MAX(values),MIN(values),'days').  When I do this, I always get values of 0 returned.  I suspect that I cannot use a datetime_diff function within a rollup but I'm not getting an error so I wanted to confirm?  (I also just tried max(values) - min(values) but that doesn't work either, (also returns 0s).  I'd rather have a single field in my data to perform this function over 3 (one for min, one for max, one for the differen

I've created an automation that follows this schema:The issue is that when it finds three matches in the name, it writes the name as many times as there are matches. I only want the name to appear once.I don't know how to achieve this.Thank you for your help

Hi,I have automated record selection and adding a fixed value to the existing values in a field. or example, adding a new category to the existing categories of a record. now I would like to have this fixed value as an entry from the user through a form or something else and then use the value in my automation. So the user enters the fixed value and selects the records he want to add the value to. How can I make this possible? Is there a dynamic variable that could record the input and use it in the automation?  Thanks

The process fails with the error:'Response status was 308 Resume Incomplete but redirect mode was set to error'The logs show the script:Successfully startsGets the Google Drive folder IDObtains an access tokenCreates an upload sessionFails when trying to handle the 308 Resume Incomplete responseThe error occurs during the chunked upload process, specifically when handling the resume/redirect status code 308.Can you help me understand how to properly handle the 308 status code in this context? Let me preface by stating that I am new to airtable.I have 1 table that lists every compartment of a project. This table has a priority field that changes as the project progresses. I have another table that lists the tasks of every craft/discipline in all compartments. Each compartment has numerous tasks in it. Each task has a compartment priority field. I would like this field to be automatically updated to match changes made to the priority level in the compartment table. I'm sure this is possible and have attempted to do so with a script but have been unsuccessful so far.

Hi folks : )I'm trying to put a link in an automated email, and it keeps generating a sequence of characters at the end of the url that makes the link useless. Here's how I have it set up in the body of the email:Here's what the end of the url is supposed to look like:230526796288065/sign_document_d4deb6cd5dd95877_79e90063180a7cbf.pdfAnd here's what it looks like when the automation is done with it:This happens whether I set up the field as a URL or single line text, and the link opens fine from the data view; these extra characters only show up in the link generated by the automation email.Since the characters look like html encoding, I looked them up and found this, if it helps:

Is anyone else constantly interrupted by 'Reconnecting' and/or 'Saving Changes' messages? This happens on some of my least complex bases with a tiny amount of data in them. It is extremely frustrating, constantly breaks my focus, and causes my work to take longer than it should. This has been brought up to Airtable many times, but it continues to linger, so I figured I would post here and see if others are facing similar issues. 

I get this notification every 3-5 seconds: “Trying to reconnect… please check your internet connection” The connection is stable. Other apps work well.

Hi there! We are trying to move our corporate budget tracking to Airtable. As an example, say we have $400 to spend, the sum of the rate would need to be subtracted from $400 ongoingly. Do you have any ideas on how to best do this without manually subtracting the sum from $400 every time?

 Hello,I built a robust CRM Base with interfaces for all the field reps in my company - everyone is using the Airtable app on their Iphones.Everything works great other than the fact that pretty much 99% of the time you cannot simply open the app and access the interface and begin editing accounts, referrals, visit logs etc. When someone opens the app, the record is un-editable, and you need to force close / re open the app to be able to start editing whatever it was you wanted to do.There isn't even a "swipe up refresh" function that many apps have - that I thought might be help.Any advice on how to mitigate this? It is super annoying for everyone.

Hi all!My team and I are using Airtable to store user research as we build out and iterate on different products within our org. One of our goals is creating a repository to reference research participants we've spoken with in the past to contact them more easily for future research. The goal of this base is two-fold: the first being a structured pool of participants to pull from, and the second is a collision map to make sure we're not pulling the same participant for several different projects and overloading them. Our project teams often aren't aware of who the other team is recruiting for research and this has happened a few times. In the participant repository base, my setup so far is 3 tabs, 1)Ongoing projects and their timelines, 2) Our staff members and 3)The participant database. Hi,I have a project management interface where I have a table listing all of my projects and then another table for tasks.  On the task table, there is a link to the project table.  I have created an interface using kanban that shows the tasks by priority (high, medium, low).  In the interface, I allow the linking of the task to the project table.  When I click the plus signal, it only shows me the first three fields from the project table.  Is there a way to modify what fields show on the "linking" screen that pops up?Thanks,Kevin

I store price data in a Products table, and link to it in an InvoiceLines table (Many InvoiceLines from One Product). However, when a price changes (is updated) in Products the original price of that item should not change in those records in InvoiceLines that have already been created. Given the Lookup type doesn’t offer it, can you think of a way to achieve this? At the moment the only way I can think of, is to export data from one table and import to another?

My phone number field has rows with different formatting. e.g. 12824673737 and (510) 890-9699 How can I force all the phone numbers to be of one format: namely, a 10 digit number without any punctuation in between

I have a table (Table #1) in which we keep upcoming events, along with their dates, topic, marketing content etc. I created a mirror table (Table #2) with the same fields. Table #2 has a form our staff uses when they need to update any of the events that are in Table #1 (existing records). I created an automation that when a form is submitted in table #2, it finds the records in table #1 that match the name of the program and then updates the existing record.Here's where I am stuck and wondering if there are solutions:1) Finding the records: My conditions are the name of the program and the date, but the issue is with the date. I'd like Airtable to only find it if it's the exact date in both tables and not a range of dates. What do I do to solve this problem? I’ve been trying to join in with my new colleagues but can’t accept their invitations. I get this message over and over with no instructions on why it’s happening or what to do next. When I type the Airtable message into the Airtable support searchbar I get over a hundred hits but none of them tell me how to fix the problem. When I go to Google for help the search engine autofills my question right away, which tells me that lots of people are having this problem. I wonder why Airtable does not help people in this situation, but I really need to know what to do next.
